The story behind this purchases quite interesting because at the office we have decided to give ourselves tasks which are obviously are productive, and I bought this bar to install it on the door for pull ups and for abs exercises.

I know that the product is solid and it stays properly on the door where I installed it, but just to make sure that my colleagues are happy I got the model with reinforcements.

The installation process is very easy, before purchasing the bar I have the measurements if it’s going to fit on the door and because this bar can be adjusted in terms of size, I didnt have to worry that it is not going to fit in different places. I have used it that without the reinforcements and literally I don’t feel any difference when I install those but it’s very good to have them just as an extra measure us of safety.

In the pack there is also an allen to be able to install the reinforcement( I think they’re called this way), and to put it on the door and remove it literally takes me around 3 minutes( probably because I just got used with it).

In terms of building quality this is more than fine, it has anti slip material on the bar which allows me to do pull ups even when my hands are a bit sweaty or I don’t wear gloves, and because I share this bar with my colleagues I clean it with disinfectant from time to time.

The good part is that I can do full ups with this bar and if I install it at the bottom of the door it is also suitable for abs work.
To give you an insight one of my colleagues weights around 115 kilos and the bar stable enough for him to do pull ups .

Overall I am satisfied with a performance and also the building quality of this produc

Really strong and sturdy! I was really surprised by how well this sticks too your door frame. Obviously when you’re paying around 40 for something, you expect the manufacturer/designer to of done their home work. And they certainly have with this!
As you can see in photos, the main bar fits very well into the frame. I was just abit disappointed with the extra support legs not fitting. As I would feel super safe with them attached to it also, even still, it does feel very strong with out them on too. And instructions do boast a very high weight capacity for just the main bar alone, so not a big problem, just a minor disappointment etc..

Personally I got this and also bought a set set of weight training straps, so I can gradually start being able to do pull ups again. And this bar is certainly strong enough for that. It’s good for hanging excersizes too and working your abs etc..
All in all it’s really good quality and I would say it’s much better than the old 10-15 door frame pull up bars that attach onto the inside, and onto the top of your door frame. This feels alot stronger than them. And if you need to take it down and store it away, it won’t take up much storage space either.
My top tips for using it are , definitely measure the frame you want to use it on, to make sure it will fit. And if, like me, you have put on a few pounds, and struggle to do one full body weight pull up, buy this and a good set of heavy weight straps. You can use this, along with the heavy straps to progressively do more and more pull ups. And eventually you might not need to use the straps at all!

All in all I give it 4 out of 5 Stars, as I think the extra support legs need to be designed slightly differently so they can fit slightly more smaller or larger door frames etc.. Apart from that it’s a fantastic bit of kit!

Really strong and sturdy, just shame the extra support legs don't fit..

My hubby and I are training for a Hyrox competition and needed to work on our upper body strength. This has been super useful. We managed to set up in our gym and it was so easy to do. We practice it all the time, even when not working out. Really helped on my core and upper body strength.
No marks left on wall. Feels super sturdy. Comfy on your hands as well. Very good value.

The base fits in my door way however the added supports do not fit so check your measurements before ordering.
The bar is nice and comfortable to grip onto. Even without the added support it takes my weight 18st well. Made to a great quality. Currently priced at just 46.99 this is a great bargain in my eyes for a good home work out.

This pull up bar is sturdy and i found it easy to install into my doorframe. I think the bar is strong and durable so it’ll withstand a lot of usage and it’s easy for me to use. It can handle a decent amount of weight and I like that it fits into the door frame well. I’ve not had any issues with it anyway and it does exactly what I need it to do. I feel it’s better than my previous cheap one so the value for money is good in my opinion. It’s not left any marks on my door and it’s easy to store away when I’m not using it. It’s not as heavy as I expected either which is good. I do recommend it but feel it’s a little overpriced.

This is a really solid bar, excellent fitting mechanism although it took me a while to work out (watching the video helps). As other reviewer have stated however, watch out for the width, as this didn’t fit in any of our internal doors, which are a about 70 cm. The grip part is also quite wide, so also make sure you have enough width to fit this too. Having said that, once it’s in, it’s rock solid, even without the extra support bars.

Other than the slight fitting issues, it feels really nice to grip. The central grip bar is maybe a little short, but othewise does what it’s supposed to, and overall the bar grips really well, is comfortable to dangle from, and works as expected.

Overall, very reasonable for the price, just check the door frame you want to install it in first!

I like this door pull up bar . I like it because it is solid , strong and sturdy piece . It ihas coating all over the metal . One it’s sides there are shock absorbent pads that saves the door hinges from damage . It is ideal for teen ager boys . But for adults , there should be extra v shaped parts that gives the frame double protection . It is ideal for less than 90 kg person . It all depends on its fitting . I am impressed with its quality . I am happy with my purchase .

First of all, I would measure the doorway you are planning to mount this in before you buy it. It claims to fist ‘most’ doorways, but I don’t think they mean most doorways in this particular country.

When mounted then, this well finished and presented pull-up bar it has a very secure and quite complex triple-lock fixing system, which means it can bear a thousand pounds of weight. The price to pay for that
security is that the locks take up about a quarter of the bars length, which if you are of average height or above does restrict whst kind of exercises you can do. For me, the idea that anyone would ever need to test the 1000lbs guarantee seems unlikely, so it does seem to ne there are some design issues unresolved here.

I have this fitted in the door way to my office. I hang some rings from it and use it for pull ups, rows etc

It was easy to fit (I couldn’t got the external bits to fit on as my door frame is quite narrow, but to be fair I don’t ned them) and it hasn’t shifted after a couple of weeks of use.

A well thought out and well produced quality product with very good attention to detail.

Spirit levels are inbuilt into both ends to help ensure the product is completely level when fitted. These are quite small. Although they may be clearer being made larger than they are; I think they are small to avoid and limit any possible damage to them. And let’s face it, they won’t be needed very often, unless the bar is frequently removed and replaced, or repositioned to enable different types of exercises to be carried out.

The instructions are clear in regards to installation.

Using the extra support bars requires an opening with a specific minimum size. If the bar is already locked in place in an opening which is less than this width, these supports cannot be fitted. Seek a larger suitable opening to fix the bar to if you require to utilise the additional strength supports for a higher overall kilogram capability rating (500kg). I think most people won’t require to use the additional support bars because the bar without them can support up to 200kg. The additional support bars with the spring handle locks are useful when adding a significant amount of weight to a dipping belt and the user weighs a fair amount, giving a combined total greater than 200kg.

The hex key to attach the additional support bars is attached to one on them via a clip on holder bracket which comes already fitted. This means the hex key shouldn’t get lost or misplaced. It will be handy and in reach to make any necessary adjustments.

When properly fitted by following the instructions, the bar is secure, sturdy, stable and is going nowhere. Until it is deliberately to be removed from its location!

I have not yet tested the following out. I do think thick bar grips could be added to the bar to give an increased arm workout. Particularly the forearms will receive more of a workout with these. They will obviously be a separate purchase; unless you already own some.

No damage was visible to the door frame after the product had been used and removed to inspect.

Possibly the weak spot in the design could be the inner sleeve bit of the rotational buckle screws which lock on to the middle bar at either end. As the buckle screws are in two parts and the inner sleeves bits look thin. Although the thinness could be deceptive and they may well be a lot stronger and tougher than they appear.

It is a very versatile product which can be used for performing many different types of exercises and/or to simply hang vertically from or performing other forms of stretching too. From various width grip standard pull ups & chin ups, to incline push-ups, dips more focussed for chest or for triceps; as well under bar pull ups. As long as there is a safe & suitable fixing place, with enough surrounding space to perform the exercises you wish to; this product will serve you well. It is actually quite compact and lightweight. Making it easy to transport.

Good quality item and comes in a nice big box, but not too big. It is a very sturdy item, heavy and doe’s exactly what it is made for. It is easy top set up and use and can be installed anywhere you want it easily. It will definitely made your exercise regimes a lot better.

This doorway chin up bar fits perfectly to my door frame, and it was really easy to install there.
You will have to check your frame first, because It can be easily adjusted to fit door frames from 78 to 98 cm (30.7 to 38.5 in) in length.

The maximum weight recommendation is up to 200 kilograms, but capacity is up to 500kg (1102lbs).
You wont need any drilling, and there are no marks left on door.
Built form really solid steel materials.

Perfect for pull-ups, sit-ups, squats, sit-ups, triceps stretching, leg raises, etc. and can also be used as a dumbbell for training.
Very safe to use I have to admit.
Great value for money, high quality for sure.
    Highly recommend!

A very sturdy well made door bar, husband was very happy with it, takes a min to understand how to put it all up but it’s seems to stay in place and golds the weight.

This thing will grip the inside of a doorway really well. It does tend to pull paint/plaster off sometimes when taking it down, but that costs less than gym memberships to repair, especially if you don’t plan on moving it.

When assembling, make sure the black dots on the ring locks line up with each other, or it might not lock properly.

Biggest issue I have with this is that the grip area isn’t wide enough. It could use a good extra 2-3 inches on either side. Using a pronated grip (palms away) puts my hands right on the threshold between the grip and the inner bars. I end up having to pull my hands in a little too close together so I can actually grip the bar properly. I don’t have a particularly large frame either.

Although the description mentions that without the support bar it will fit from 69cm, I couldn’t get it to fit a standard interior door frame (which is just wider). However, when I found a suitable location it was relatively easy to install and was very stable. It doesn’t require any screws, etc, and shouldn’t mark the frames. There are levels in each of the two main grips, although not totally sure how much these help. The bar has a soft foam like texture which adds comfort and apparently also minimises hand fatigue. A well designed and made pull up bar which will hopefully help improve my training regime.

I’m always a little wary of pullup bars that aren’t screwed into the doorframe, but that often isn’t an option if you live in a rented property or don’t want to leave holes in the frame.

This bar is easy enough to fit – adjust the two sides so they’re the same and the bar is long enough to stay upright in the doorframe, rotate the bar until it’s tight, then lock it. I’m about 75kg and it feels secure without the extra stabilisers. Since my doorway isn’t particularly wide, getting the supports flush with the bar was a little tricky. Fortunately, I shouldn’t need to use it unless I gain a prodigious amount of weight.

Recommended if you need a portable pullup bar.

Should fit securely on most doorways

Will not fit on our internal door frames (70cm wide). It claims to beable to fit between 69cm and 92cm. The bar simply does not go narrow enough to fit between the two sides. I had to use an outside door, which is a shame because I wanted to do the exercise inside the house, not at the front door! However once you have found a wide enough door and sussed the twisting procedure (twist the end bits to the right fit and then tighten by turning the bar) the pull up bar works very well. You seem to only need the support rods if you are over 200kg. Using them allows a load up to 500kg. As I am 80kg I didn’t need them and it felt to be firmly fixed in place (as my legs were dangling pathetically underneath as I attempted to do at least one pull up!). Soft material on the bar is very comfortable.

Note : It is possible my sample is faulty. It is supposed to fit between my 70cm door frame but it doesn’t because the ends won’t screw in far enough (see the gap at one end in the second photo).

    Measure your door frame!
