I particularly like the fact its height adjustable that’s why I choose it.
I did end up returning this, but it seems like a decent option for anyone looking for a display for office work. The screen is big, so can be useful for multi-tasking – I liked that the monitor can be rotated 90 degrees.
It comes with diagrams and instructions for putting together, and seems sturdy once assembled even though it’s plastic. The monitor is matte, and it’s easy to adjust the colour and brightness settings with the ‘toggle’ on the back. The stand height is also easy to adjust.
If you’re used to higher-resolution screens (for design, gaming or video viewing) this might not be sharp enough, as the pixels can be noticeable. But overall this seemed like a good choice for other kinds of work.
I probably don’t have the best eyesight these days, am very colourblind, and am of the opinion that quality isn’t everything. Playing Deep Rock Galactic or Factorio, I’m hardly going to need a top-notch display. That said, if you’re intent on max resolution 4k insert-acronyms-of-choice-here then you’re probably going to be spending a lot more than this.
For what these screens cost, they’re great. It’s a screen, you plug it in, it works. Did have a bit of a weird issue where it didn’t sense the DisplayPort input, and then when the PC went into standby the monitor would revert to HDMI and not recognise when the PC woke up, but that only happened once or twice at the start and they’ve been fine since. There is an option to auto-switch source which seems disabled by default. Just something to be aware of I guess.
Also impressed that they came with HDMI cables. Been a long time since I received a screen with a useful cable. Would have preferred DVI, but HDMI is the safer bet for the manufacturer I guess.
Overall very happy.
To begin with the installation instructions are an appalling example of microscopic diagrams. This is a real challenge to one of failing eyesight. Ironically it was in the end was simple to build.
Once a problem of electrical connectivity was resolved, the monitor perfectly giving a very clear . I look forward to using it.
The 4 stars are for the monitor image image quality and having several connection ports. The missing one star is for the frustrating and lack of customer support experienced in setting up the monitor.
Overall the product came quickly and with no hassel. There was the wrong power cable in the box but I contacted the seller and it was removed within the hour. Overall a pleasant experience. Would buy again 4/5
I’ll admit it took me a while to work out the logic of how to turn 90 degrees – the answer was obvious (tilt it before turning so it doesn’t hit the base! d’oh….).
Overall, very pleased.
This is a Quality Item, unlike the HP one bought as used that gladly failed. Bright Clear Image as Set Up on Turning On, no fiddling with Settings, it’s been Preset to Suit Today’s White Lighting with great Colour. HDMI inputs, no more dated VGA-DVI-D inputs with untidy thick cables. 1m cable included not long enough for me, easy to buy a 2m one. The only worry is the sprung column springs out rather violently, in the face would hurt, it’s not WARNING tagged enough. Been buying LCD Monitors since 2002 with Sony ones, this is back in the league again. Pleased.
