Refurbished? This is blemish free and absolutely . I am very impressed with the quality. I changed the band to DEALELE Compatible with Samsung Galaxy Watch 5/5 Pro
Looks excellent.
Very happy
Excellent watch battery life lasts me about two and a half days which I can live with because my apple watch had to be charged everyday.
Very happy with watch. I like the fact that the steps are more accurate than the phone but you can have them paired in sync. Another cool feature is after 10 mins of walking it auto tracks your steps and tells you how many calories you’ve burned, what your heart rate is, how many steps and how long it has taken every time you hit 1 mile in distance. I did like the previous watch which had the rotating bezel so you could select screens by spinning which they have removed on this watch, but it’s not the end of the world. It does what I want it to do and I can’t really ask for more from a smart watch. Calls are nice and clear too. Don’t bother with the 4G unless you have an E-sim on contract. Would recommend
I have really enjoyed this watch. Definitely the best watch I have ever owned but I would have expected this as I have spent nearly 400. But with this price tag, I would have thought the strap would have lasted more than a Month. I had noticed this when I had to take it off charge and the hinge has just snapped. It’s a shame is I really liked the strap, very satisfying magnet.
But all in all. the watch is brilliant, as I am quite active and like to keep track of my calories burned or at lease a good idea. the sleep tracking is very inciteful and the recommendations from the program to improve my sleep and reminders are useful.
I bought my Samsung Galaxy wacht5 pro, titanium Gray color on April 8th, it arrived on April 9th, I’m super happy with this Smart wacht, it’s too beautiful, it does everything, it’s easy to install, the image is spectacular, it’s big and I have my wrist small but that was not an impediment to me not being able to buy. haptic communication is impressively fast with no hiccups. Recommend buying for those who use android. 1000%
A bit expensive but does it what it says in the advert.
Overall happy with the watch as its a great daily staple for access to apps and phone functions without having to keep using your phone. 2.5/3 day battery life. I have to wear it on my right arm which is a pain as my Tattoos are blocking the sensor in detecting my skin haha. Its not a deal breaker for me but some may not prefer having to wear a watch on your right arm. (not fault of the watch)
Ok, full disclosure. I sent this item back to Amazon as I got a great deal from my phone provider on this and a new phone.
The 45mm galaxy watch 5 is a beast. Both in performance and size. The last smartwatch I owned was the galaxy watch 2 so a lot has changed since then but the familiar look and feel of the software had me working round the watch in no time.
The watch comes in its own small thin box with an instruction manual, the watch and the USB C charging cable with magnetic connection. ( Why do these never come with the wall plug anymore?)
First impression is the size. Bigger than my last smart watch but in all honesty, it’s no bigger than your average Casio G shock.
It had about 20% charge when first turned on so was more than enough to get started pairing it to my phone and tweaking settings etc to get it to my liking.
Once I had got everything setup and accounts synced ( more on that later) I decided to see how long it would take to charge. From around 10% it charged to full in around 1 hour 15 mins which I think is pretty decent.
From full charge, I have had it on for 2 full days and although not really sitting playing with it constantly, I have been using it a fair bit for things and it still had around 10% left after this time.
I have used some of the health tracking stuff on the watch for walks and heart beat monitoring and so far, it seems pretty good at automatically recognising what activity I am doing although I am skeptical about how accurate the heart rate monitor is.
Now, my biggest bug bear with any of these types of devices especially with Samsung is the way the onboard software forces you to use their own apps for email etc. On my phone for example, I use widgets for outlook calendar to keep track of what I’m doing the next few days. The watch does not have this calendar in its software and as a workaround, I have to sync to Samsung calendar which although is not the end of the world, it is an extra step needed to go if you are to get the whole Lte experience that this watch is designed for. I’m sure other apps are the same and I think just a little more integration with popular software is needed if I was to have the whole leave the phone at home functionality that Lte is supposed to offer.
This for me is why I give 4 stars instead of 5. Almost a great product but still a little bit of work needed on software integration with popular applications that people use on their phones on a daily basis.
Battery lasts 3 days, which is far short of the 7+ days of the Huawei GT 3 Pro
However a lot more apps work and so does footstep tracking, both showing the same on the phone and watch.
Might be a compromise on battery life but less a frustration in the long run.
Only shock is the charging wire utilises a usbc
Can be a bit fiddly you need a blood pressure to get the watch to take it on the watch
It’s so much better from my previous watch Ticwatch 3, but it locks itself all the time. Most of the tracking functions are not close enough. But still, I like it very much, it’s really smart and convenient.
Upgraded from my old Galaxy Watch 3. Simple to use and simple to pair with my phone. Battery life was poor until I installed the software update, now I get an average 2-3 days without charging. Charging is also very quick. Nothing seems to have gone wrong with the watch itself and I’ve never needed to reset or restart the watch. It’s never glitches or frozen on me. What more can I say? Its a good watch.
Not really a criticism buy I wish I’d bought the LTE version now. Oh well.
Nice watch, it do what it says and battery keeps up to 3 days without any problems
Arrived fast, setup was easy. Looks good and does what it says on the box.
The only issue is the charger connection not being a standard usb, I had to charge it via my phone until I purchased a USB connector.
A big upgrade for me to this watch. Absolutely brilliant, packed with great health and fitness apps and a battery that lasts 48 hours or longer.
Like the record route feature for my long runs too.
I have had lots of smart watches but this is by far the best one I have ever owned, the battery life is amazing it uses about 13% a day with everything switched on apart from always on screen.
I’ve recently moved over to android (Samsung) from Apple and obviously things are different but I found it fairly easy to transition over. To be fair both watches do roughly the same thing although the Samsung watch does more than my model of the Apple Watch regarding tracking heart health. I’m glad I went for the pro over the regular Watch due to the raised bezel as my job does have a rough side to it sometimes so knocks are inevitable and to that point I’ve made sure I bought a screen protector and an actual Watch protector. The screen is nice and bright and comes on when I raise my wrist and the amount of different faces you can get for it is far more than it’s rival! It’s very easy to set up using the phone and watch together.
I purchased this watch as a Christmas gift for my partner. He absolutely loves it. The watch is very stylish, he says the strap is extremely comfortable. Lots of apps, so many he hasn’t even used all of them yet. He loves the health tracker and the huge variety of watch faces. It was easy to set up with a Samsung phone. Battery life is great (approx 4 days from full) and then it charges really quickly. An excellent product all round, very impressed and it is even presented well in a slick black box.
Very impressed with this watch.
Went for the pro model as its titanium and super lightweight, which is ideal for sleep tracking.
But also for general use, as you dont really notice the additonal weight, you would usually associate with a smartwatch.
If you are using it with a Samsung device, it fully integrates into the Samsung eco system, for example with fitness tracking, and profile changes, mirrors the same setup as you phone seamlessly.
Battery life is excellent, with AOD active you will easily get a day of normal useage. With AOD off, it will last for days. Also chargers very rapidly, so the moments for example you take a shower, you can easily top up the battery to keep you going.
The level of customisation you have with this watch, is vastly superior to the Apple devices, with thousands of different faces. Including some well known brands.
Fitness and health are vastly improved over other generations of the Galaxy watch, with a lot more accuracy, and detailed health and body metrics to measure. Ideal if you are into casual or hardcore fitness.
I had the Apple Watch Ultra prior to purchasing this. And though the Ultra has a lot of unique gimmicks. I think the Samsung Galaxy watch has a lot to offer, and is a worthy competitor.
If you are looking for a capable smart watch, then this is well worth a purchase.
I initially bought the Watch 5, but the battery was useless as a smart watch for diabetic CGM(Constant Glucose Monitor – Dexcom or Libre), so I got the Pro instead. The Pro versions battery allows this version to give a full days use as a CGM along with using its other smart features and functions. Used this way it wont do more than a day and a half. Used as a normal smart watch 2 days no issue, but as you should expect the more features you use the more the battery will drain 🙂
So after eagerly unpacking the watch, found the instructions tucked away with the rest of the information (well actually, apart from the Warranty information there was only a brief quick start guide)
I started setting the watch up and got the charging cable out, to find out they’ve used a USB-C plug instead of the nice standard old fashioned USB plug, so now I’ve got to go out tomorrow and buy either an adaptor or a new charger just to charge it up, can’t really review it much more since it’s down to 20%.
Why Samsung decided to use this plug is beyond me, it’s a safe bet that most people will have at least 1 of the old fashioned ones kicking around, but not many will have the new USB-C ones 🙁
Great watch does most if what Iwant but to get more out if it you need a samsung phone If you want ECG or other data. It wont work or connect with a samsung tablet. Battery life is two days+/-. Sleep tracking works, steps work, prompts to move work, connects to a non-samsung android phone. with samsung health app. Nice watch. Its fiddly to put some new watch bands on.
Worn every day since getting, allows me to control my phone from my wrist when listening to music, track notifications such as emails, create to do lists, make calls, respond to messages, and track my exercise along with monitoring blood pressure and other metrics. I don’t usually like watches but this one is very comfortable, worn it every day since purchase. Very durable, no scratches even though I have bumped and scraped it it quite a few times. Great quality smart watch, battery life could be better but usually lasts me 3 days, the time to charge is about an hour which means I take it off for an hour to charge most evenings anyway.
