Good product for the price which had a discount at the time we purchased it. It did what it was needed for which was cutting into a large hedge in the back garden, would recommend for smaller jobs
Was nervous about using chain saw but have taken a lot of over-hamging branches out with this and it is easy to use, easy to manouvre and sturdy. Great for chopping up branches to go in bin. Have cut up to 3 inch thick with smaller blade
This is a small chainsaw which is ideal for me as I have small hands and I feel I have more control over it. It’s fairly easy to set up and use. It is great for small jobs in the garden. The battery life isn’t great but you do receive two batteries so you just need to make sure the spare is always charged up.
Don’t let the size of this thing fool you, makes overgrown small to medium tree, bushes, and hedges easy work where a hand saw may not fit and limit areas you can get into. There are two blades included and batteries, one standard and extended lithium-ion battery. If you have never used a standard chainsaw, there is a requirement for chain lubeeven at this size it’s still a requirement. Reservoir is near the chain gate, upper main body. Blade change out is relatively easy and similar to your standard chainsaw. This job started with the 8″ blade and the remainder to ensure I had nice control finished with the 6″ blade.
Main use was on an older small tree that died and took this down with ease. Then a very highly overgrown shrub with extra long thorns, I dread trimming and have always had to start with a hedge trimmer and use a hand saw. Using this, was able to reshape and make easy work of those thicker shrub branches while bringing it back to a more manageable size. To give you an estimate on time and charges; this shrub was around 6 meters high and 6-8 meters wide. Brought it back down to 4 meters in height while keeping its width. Took both batteries to get through all of thick stuff with a stop in between to service the reservoir, allow the first battery (extended battery) to finish a recharge while I cleaned up the large mess after finishing out the second standard battery. Re-used the extended battery and another cleanup, saw myself finishing with the standard battery. All-in-all, a total of 2 charge sets completed the job.
I was very excited to get to try this, I have some areas of my garden that I am clearing and its too mighty for my normal loppers/trimmer and not big enough to really need a full chain saw, this mini one is just perfect.
It came with two batteries that are of different size, I have been using it with the smaller battery to make it a bit lighter for me and its been perfect for my needs (heavy pruning, cutting up branches smaller to fit into the garden waste bin).
really great, came with two sizes of blade, I do wish it had come with some kind of storage bag though as the box was flimsy and not something that can be really used over and over to store it between uses.
Also did not come with any oil to get you started so make sure you add a bottle if you haven’t got any already
Nice and light, it’s quite easy to use and cuts through quite well.
Keeps it’s battery life well and takes a while before needing to be recharged.
Comes with two batteries so takes twice as long before needing to be fully recharged.
A handy mini chainsaw to have around. Sometimes a standard chainsaw us too much for the job and a hand saw doesnt quite cut it, so this is ideal. Really easy and straightforward to use. Battery powered, you get 2 included in the box, so you could be using one whilst the other is on charge. One Battery is 4 ah and the other is 2 ah. The whole unit is a good size to hold on to it. You have the choice of 2 size bars and chains to use, 6 inch and 8 inch. Easy enough to switch over without too much hassle. A built in safety lock has to be pressed before starting, so no worry about it just going. Theres a clear viewer bubble so you can see how much oil is inside to lubricate the chain. No oil is included though, would have been nice to have a small bottle included so you could use it straight out the box, no real issue though. It cuts through wood/branches with ease, not too much pressure or vibrations travelling up through your hands. Not too loud when in use either. Lightweight and portable it can be taken and used anywhere. Feels reasonably well made, so far so good. No issues. Would benefit at being at a slightly lower cost though with many other similar machines available.
This is a very useful tool for dealing with overgrown small to medium tree, bush and hedges
It is surprisingly powerful, I’ve used it on 4″ wide branches and it was fairly easy, certainly a lot easier than using my manual garden saw.
Obviously being a chainsaw, care is needed when using but I had no issues.
I have used this Sanjian cordless chain saw to trim back a Hazel and it made very light work of the job, Included are a 6 and an 8 inch bar and chain combo as well as 2 rechargeable batteries, 2 and 4 AH respectively. I found the larger capacity battery suited my needs better despite being heavier.
Operation is very easy, simply tension the chain with the adjuster knob, add some oil / chain lube and press the primer a few times to begin using. The performance is excellent giving clean cuts with minimal hand pressure. I can see this saw being suited to older people who want to tackle their gardens but don’t have the arm strength to manually saw through things.
Excellent product that has more than lived up to expectations thus far.
Great little chainsaw will go through 6/8 in logs reasonably well . Just one complaint the 2000 mAh battery does not work or charge.
