I had just purchased a new MacMini (M2) and this was a perfect way to mount it under a counter. It should also accommodate a Mac Studio– this one fits well and gives plenty of extra clearance since it’s shorter than a studio. Instructions were easy to read and unit was a breeze to put together. Feels sturdy and no worries on the expensive computer mounted in it.
Nice to have Studio fitted securely, pity the mount does not have a locking facility on it. Only Kensington facility is catered for.
I used this mount under my desk for a Mac mini. The mount is aluminum, 4 pieces: an upper piece with mounting points for the side brackets and mounting holes for 6 (!) mounting screws; 2 side brackets; and a base piece with cutout fitting the base of a Mac mini or Mac Studio. The base with the computer is fully supported by the side brackets, and has 2 thumbscrews to secure it in place if you wish. Used to mount a Mac Mini, there’s room on top to tuck the cables, as other options for cable control aren’t provided. It sticks down further than a simple Mac Mini mount, but the space is useful. One might fit a stackable hub or storage enclosure in there; not with a Studio, however.
The mount feels well-made, and arrived well-packaged, with all needed parts. The mounting screws are short, which is appropriate for under-desk mounting.
This bracket is very nice and very well-built. The instructions were very clear and It was also very easy to put together. I actually got it to put my Mac mini in and then the three USB-C hub/hard drive enclosures that are shaped/sized like the Mac minis case. Before purchasing this bracket the drive enclosures and the mini were just all stacked on top of each other on my desk and now, with this bracket, I can take the three enclosures and the mini and secure them in the bracket, and then mount them to the side of my recording desk, so that they’re out of the way. It gives me more space on my recording desk next to my console and allows me to keep all of the cables and connections that I have going to my Mac in a much cleaner way.
I really love this bracket it is very
This is a great solution for mounting a Mac mini under a desk or table. I’ve used the plastic ones before, and they’re ok, but this aluminum bracket is obviously much stronger. And I like that it’s designed to hold the taller Mac studio, since that means for us Mini owners we get some extra height for a hub or an external drive, or even a second Mac mini. This height also helps with airflow to keep the device cool, which is a problem I’ve had in the past with brackets that try to flush-mount the mini.
I like how well-made this is. Everything is a really sturdy aluminum that feels solid and matches the look of the Mac Mini / Mac Studio really well. Also, I like how the part where the computer sits is lined with a soft rubber or silicone to both help hold the computer in place and also keep it from getting scratched. That’s a cool feature. The install time from unboxing the product to having my computer in place under my desk literally only took a few minutes. Overall, I’m really happy with this and would definitely recommend it.
It matches Mac Studio color really well.
Product is sturdy, and won’t wobble.
You do need to drill your table tho.
I recommend for people who wants clean setup, or don’t have much desk space.
This is a vey handy device. As you can see I use with a Mac Mini with an extra dock and still have room for extra hard drives on top of the Mac. Mounting was very easy as the top mounting frame can be placed where you want to mount the holder, drill your holes then assemble the two sides o the top, attach the top to the under side of where you want to mount the holder. The bottom part will slide into place easy and has groves on both sides the lock it in place. I did not use the two thumb screws because the bottom locks into place. Makes it easy to move the Mac out to change cables.
Works great! I wanted to mount my Mac Studio under the desk to free up more desk space. The mount is sturdy and built from aluminum. Has foam padding on the base also to prevent scratches on bottom of your Mac. When mounting a Mac Studio in it you (or a child) cannot accidentally slide the Mac out of the mount without first removing the mount base screws on the bottom unlike some of the other offerings on the market. Expensive for what it is but so is the computer you’re putting in it.
I ordered this under desk mount because I have a small desk and I wanted to gain as much space as possible. The mount is sturdy, made out of aluminum and fairly easy to install. If using the provided screws, make sure the desk is no thinner than 3/4″ or they will go all the way trough. For thinner wood you just need shorter screws.
This sturdy mount is an excellent solution for gaining space and a clutter free desk. I highly recommend it.
I know this is specifically sized for mac computers, but all the ones I found for my Din sized Geekom mini PC were either to big or to small. This one at about 8 inches square and 5 inches tall, was perfect for the PC, with room for my usb switch on the side. With the big hole in the bottom I had to put in a little wooden shelf.
This unit is well made (of Aluminum) and the fit and finish is very Apple-ish. It is well done and the parts and hardware all fit flawlessly. It looks good and the finish matches the legs of my desk nicely.
Excellent aluminum work – well machined panels, and the mount does the job perfectly. The biggest drawback are the worthless screws they’ve included – three broke when attempting to mount it. Went to the hardware store to replace them. You’ll need 6g x 17mm flush-head screws, – but check the thickness of your desk before picking them up. You’ll need 6 screws. The bolts used to hold the panels together are fine. Overall, I’m happy with it.

Item was easily put together with the provided screws and tool included with the mount. Item is made of metal not plastic like other companies, has a cushion for the studio to sit on reducing any noise/vibrations from the studio. Hardest part of the whole install was mounting underneath the desk, and the company provided screws for that also. Very happy with this mounting bracket and would recommend it to other studio owners.
I hate Desk Clutter….If you follow any of my reviewed products you will see I am always looking for new ways to keep the work space clean and free.
So I saw this Undercounter mount for the Mac Studio and it was so reasonably priced I have it a try!
Pretty easy to install but I do alert you to the fact that if you need to pre-drill pilot holes for the mounting screws you should do so BEFORE you screw the side panels on as it is difficult to get a drill in the mounting holes with them in place. Drill the holes and then put the side plates on before screwing it into the bottom of any desk that can take a screw.
The Mac Units themselves sit on a tray that you slide into the mount and locks into hooks at the bottom of the side rails. Then there are hand screws that will lock the tray in place.
I do not have a Mac Studio but I do have two other Mac Minis at Work one being an M1 variety the other an Intel. I also have a mini Thin Docking station with extra storage and ports for the M1. So I figured if the mount was good I would just buy another for the other units.
To my surprise this mount was quite capable of holding all three units stacked on top of each other with just a bit of Velcro holding them together.
It doe a great job and nowI have three Mac Mini’s worth of space plus all the saved cable clutter on my work desk. You can easily access the ports and if ever needed simply unscrew the tray to unmount the units for repair or regular maintenance.
Highly recommended for anyone with a Mac Mini format computer.and limited space who wants to keep their computer close but out of the way.
Originally, I didn’t think my MacStudio took up much desk space and was “Mac beautiful”. However, as I was decluttering, I thought it would be nice to attempt to put it under my desk. This desk mount definitely feels stable and the metal is nice and solid. I did have a little concern when I saw how small the screws are that hold top part to the side parts. But once they were screwed tight, it would not move or wobble. The machining of the parts is very nice. Installing it on my convertible desk was a little tricky for two reasons. One, it has a brace along the back which limit options and given the number of cables that I plug into the back, I needed clearance in the back so the cords wouldn’t be bent. And I also need space in the front for my knees. I settled to set it off to my right where the desk is deeper and I’m very happy with this (other than having to purchase 3 new longer Thunderbolt 3 cables because it’s further away from things). My desk has so much more space and I can still see my pretty MacStudio under my desk without much contortion. I actually think it has better ventilation down there 🙂
I just got a Mac mini, was looking for way to keep the desk clean, minimalist style. I saw some people mounted their Mac Mini under the desk on youtube, which lead me here. The item was delivered here in 2 days, very fast. Decent packaging, kept the product protected. The mount is made of metal/aluminum material, very solid. You won’t be able to bent them. Comes with all the hardware/screws to get it mounted. I checked the length of the mounting screw, made sure my desk is keep enough for the screw to go into it. I didn’t want the screw to stick out on my desktop. Install is simple enough, got everything installed within 15 mins. One thing I notice, there s nothing actually holds the Mac mini down on the mount. Its more like the Mac Mini just sits/rests on the under desk mount. Its not a big deal, because I don’t think I would accidently knock it out of the mount, but I do feel it will be nicer, if there is some type of design that actually secures the Mac Mini to the mount. But over all its a nice, clean and solid design.
Typically I would just make one of these mounts with my 3D printer but I decided to give this one a try. I’m really glad that I did. It matches my Mac Studio perfectly and frees up some much needed space on my desk. Installation was fairly easy if you have the patience to pre-drill holes. Also, don’t bother with the tiny allen wrench they give you and just use something bigger. Definitely well worth it.
Item: SENGTEK Aluminum Under Desk Mount for Apple Mac Studio, Mac Mini – Quick Removal & Easy Installation
First off, let me just say this is an excellent solution for getting the Mac Studio off your desk. If you have a desk you can drill into, this is near perfect. Very useful and very functional. It makes your desk feel so much cleaner. And, this frame doesn’t obstruct use of the Studio in any way.
I, personally, would have preferred a single-molded design (vs the 4 pieces that need to be screwed together). But, these flatter pieces are obviously much better for shipping.
The aluminum build is excellent. Someone spent some time to design this well. Screwing the 4 pieces together doesn’t compromise the integrity of the mount in any way. It is of good quality, and holds my Studio securely. This could have easily been something designed by Apple or Satechi.
I think it may be a little overpriced ($60 at the time the review). $40 seems like a fair price for the parts that you’re actually getting. Pricing is subjective for this type of product though. For anyone spending $2k+ on Studio, $60 is nothing.
Overall, this is a very well thought-out mount. Would definitely buy this brand and this item again.
I love this under-desk mount for my Apple Mac Studio because it is a perfectly-engineered case that does exactly what it is designed to do: Get my Mac Studio off my desk and out of the way, without restricting airflow or access to cables, power, memory slots, etc. I like how easy it was to assemble (even though my first attempt — not using the graphic instructions — was wrong). The instructions are clear, concise and easy to follow (if you are not a man, apparently). I like that the aluminum is almost a perfect match for the Mac Studio and that the bottom is lined with a thick — almost neoprene — cushion to protect this Apple investment. Note: I am awaiting a new desk, so have not attached it to my old desk … but the ability to do so is foolproof and I can barely wait! I am sold 100% on this mount.
There are some 3d printed versions of this solution but I’m glad for this aluminum one. Goes well with the Mac Studio. The assembly fasteners stay put on the tool, for which I’m grateful. The incorporated stops on the tray don’t get in the way of connections. I suggest pre-drilling the holes using the mount plate as a template before attaching sides. As you can see all parts are counter sunk for a nice flush finish. Bonus! There’s enough room for my external SSDs! Real happy with this solution for getting Mac Studio off the top side
It is spacious for a Mac Mini. I believe that it will work for a Mac Studio. Assembly was somewhat easy. The hardest part was attaching the side to the top frame, because the screw is small and I have having a slight difficulty getting the provided hex key to stay in the hole of the screw.
To make your life easier, you should have a drill/driver with a 1/16″ drillbit and a Phillips screwdriver. I predrill the holes for the mount, using the mount as a guide, then switch to use a Phillips screwdriver head with my drill to install the mount.
Like this aluminum mount on my standing desk.
This is a great mount for the max studio and also the Mac mini. Everything was packaged well and each pieces individually wrapped to avoid scratches during shipping. It was very easy to put together and mount under my desk. I only have a Mac mini right now but with plans of getting a Mac Studio down the road so I’m happy to find a mount that can accommodate both. It’s actually brilliant that I can mount my mini and have some extra gap above to put some things since most standing desks don’t really have storage. As you can see in the picture, a keyboard and a mouse can easily fit there making it great when I want to swap over to my Mac set up and just grab those. Can always put a MagSafe charger there too can charge your phone there as well, further removing clutter from your desk. Super happy with this item!
This is the perfect solution for anyone wanting to securely mount their Mac Mini or Mac Studio to the underside of their desk. I’ve been wanting to mount my Mini to the bottom of my desk for a while and was excited to stumble across this product. The box includes two aluminum side pieces, aluminum top and bottom pieces, six each hex head machine screws and Phillips head wood screws, two thumb screws to attach the bottom piece to the sides, and instructions.
What I like about this mount:
The mount is fabricated from quality aluminum stock.
The mount comes with all the hardware required for assembly and installation.
The top, sides and bottom of the mount fit together perfectly and were easy to assemble.
Once assembled the mount is sturdy and exhibits no flexing.
The design allows for ample air circulation around the Mini/Studio.
The Mac Mini was easy to install into the mount.
The Mac Mini fits snuggly in the mount and doesn’t shift when inserting cables or pressing the on/off button.
What didn’t impress me:
The included Allen Wrench/hex key for the six assembly screws was poorly made. The short side of the wrench fit into the screws, but the tip of the long side was too large. This was not a significant issue for me as I have a couple sets of hex keys.
All in all, I am very pleased with this mount and can recommend it for anyone who wants to mount their Mac Mini or Studio to the underside of their desk.
Brilliant design. This is really an impressive under desk mount. Simple, easy, sturdy, and functional.
This mount keeps my Mac under the desk, out of the way, but still easily accessible. I have mine mounted near the front of the desk so that the ports are still accessible. It pairs nicely with a Qwiizlab USB Dock that adds front USB and card readers.
Assembly is required but it could almost be done without the instructions. The instructions, however, are very thorough and easy to follow. Everything you need is in the box and well packaged. The wood screws are about 3/4 in but only penetrate the wood to about a 1/2 in considering the top plate thickness.
There is a lot of attention to detail in this mount. The aluminum body is very sturdy and matches the finish of the Mac Mini it is holding. The screw holes are sunken on one end allowing the screws to be flush with the mount once installed. The side walls hang from the top plate meaning the screws are just holding the side plate in place while the top plate carries the load. The lower plate is removable with an opening that fits the Mac Mini perfectly. The bottom plate sets into the lower groove of the side plates again carrying the load and allowing you to easily pull the Mac out to organize wires and set it back in. Everything fits together perfectly.
As a bonus, the groove at the top edges allowed me to run a wire for a speaker control hiding it away. Now I just need to work on the managing the rest of the cables.
This is definitely a useful mount and I would recommend it strongly if you are trying to clear space from the top of your desk.
I ordered this under desk mount to replace a very makeshift shelf I was using. This extremely well thought out mount fits the Mac Studio perfectly.
The mount is made of four aluminum pieces:
– Upper bracket that attaches to the underside of a desk or shelf
– Two side panels
– Bottom, foam-padded platform on which a Mac Studio (or Mac mini) rests
In the box is also a set of 6 sheet metal screws for attaching the side panels to the upper bracket, a small Allen wrench to tighten those screws and 6 wood screws with Phillips heads for attaching the mount itself.
Before mounting, screw the side panels onto the upper bracket.
The kit does not include a template to help with marking the screw holes. I prefer to drill pilot holes before screwing into wood so I made a simple template by tracing the upper bracket holes onto a piece of paper and then sticking that to the underside of my desk. I then drilled 6 pilot holes using a 9/64 inch drill bit. The wood screws fit into those holes perfectly.
The inside surface of the platform is covered in thin foam on which the Mac Studio sits. The large circular cutout obviously allows the intake fan of the Mac to be fully exposed. This makes it easy to vacuum away dust that will inevitably collect there.
There is a smaller hole that allows easy access to the lock slot at the bottom of the Mac.
The platform ultimately sits on the side panels and held in place with 4 slots. Set the Mac Studio onto the platform and then slide the platform into place. Once the platform is in its proper position, install the two small hand twist screws to keep the platform from lifting off.
The platform has raised lips at the front and back to keep a Mac from sliding out. These lips do not interfere with the front and rear ports.
The mount is clearly sized for a Mac Studio. There is just a bit of space between the top of a Studio and the upper bracket. A Mac mini will also fit but there will be a lot of space above it. Not a bad thing if that space can be utilized though.
I am really happy with this mount. It is easy to install and is so well designed. Placing a Mac underneath my desk means more desk space and less visible clutter.
his mount is very nice, it has thick aluminum constructed, holds the mace security and allows airflow on all sides of Mac.
I was a bit nervous when I ordered this with no reviews, but it’s been an excellent purchase. The mount is sturdy and comes with the necessary hardware to mount it under a desk. My Mac Studio os secure, and I appreciate the added ability to add a cable lock through the mounting chassis. I haven’t decided if this is overpriced for what you get, but there weren’t any other options, and the aluminum is pretty thick, so I’m not going to complain too much. Personally, aside from what might be a too-high price, this does the job it was designed for, and does it well.
Wow. This minimalistic SENGTEK Aluminum Under Desk Mount for Apple Mac Studio looks as if Apple designers created this elegant kit. Too bad this kit will hang under my desk and be hidden from view.
Even the flat packed cardboard packaging uses minimal material for fewer cardboard to recycle, while protecting the contents perfectly.
The kit is very easy to install with enclosed hex wrench. Main frame of the holder is impeccably finished in smooth anodized finish. Should you need to remove the Mac Studio, there are two knurled thumbscrews to quickly remove the computer.
While some may pause at the $59.99 price tag, the overall fit and finish of this mount is OEM Apple quality with perfect fit.
5 star recommendation.
This is a great mounting option for Mac Studios in our office where we needed them to be OFF the main desk and yet still close by enough so all the cords reach. It cradles the Mac Studio perfectly under the desk and allows back and front access exactly as needed.
Simple but very necessary piece of kit for offices like ours and this one does the job perfectly.
Big fan- this bracket fits perfectly Mac Studio and is very smartly designed. You may not even realize you need this but for me I love having a clutter free desk and this little guy gave me a ton of space back that the Mac Studio was taking up. Highly recommended.
easy to install
love the look and it’s nearly perfec
