Bought the non-smart model of this TV some years ago as a caravan TV. Sadly, the aeriel connection broke off due to bad handling on my part (TV to be used as a standby monitor). This model is quite a step up and the ‘smart’ element is excellent. Now being used as a bedroom TV.
Bought to replace an old tv, wasn’t sure if having a dvd player as well would compromise any aspects but have been very pleased and now no longer need the old dvd player, creating more space and now just one remote
I’m not very technical but managed to get this TV working without any problems. Good picture. Perfect size for my small room.
When assembling it I did have a few problems getting the screws in the stand. Apart from that everything was fine. I’d recommend this TV.
My room is rather small as the kids have the biggest one they then got my bigger TV as it was just too big for my small box room! This tv though is the perfect size! It’s easy to use and understand. I use it for the xbox which works perfectly on there as well as watching the netflix app installed on the tv it’s self. The sound and picture are perfect I can’t fault this tv in any way! I have no cons. I highly recommend
Took me longer to install it all, but that was more my fault than the instructions / TV. Only knocked a star off due to people who are obviously ”challenged” when installing such things, might have additional info when doing so. Took me 3 attempts in the end, but all working really well now and so far really happy with purchase.
I bought this for my daughters so they could have a Tv in their room. They spend 90% of the time watching kids YouTube which is fine but sometimes the Tv does restart itself or not pickup the Wi-Fi for some reason and it’s only the Tv.
Otherwise it’s a good working Tv after a restart.
he best tv i ever bought clear easy to watch big enough to watch with out taking over the room dvd player in the side easy use can context to the inter which i brilliant for netflix and you tube so no need to extra cables or storage great souls .. just love it worth the money
Bigger than my previous TV and of course more choices of programs. The only query I have is that the HDMI connection und the USB are to close together. Otherwise I like it.
This is my first Smart TV after my old one gave up the ghost. It took me a short while to get it working, so not too difficult. Overall I am happy with my purchase and it suits my needs
It’s great for my second tv using little electric the sound it very good the pitcher is good very good I gave it 4 stars as my other tv is a better picture but for the price it’s well worth the 130 I paid for it setting the tv up was pretty much straight forward and there are a few pitcher and sound settings Factory settings are all about saving power mode I wanted the best but power consumption on any mode is around 18w so overall yes I would buy again and 9/10
Bought this TV to use at my caravan. I should have opened it before I went, as there were no screws to attach the stand legs to the TV. I had to go to B&Q to buy a few packs of screws, as I couldn’t tell the size of the screws which should have been included, it doesn’t tell you on the instructions.
TV itself is great, but there are a couple of things that niggle me
The stand itself isn’t great it rather wobbles a bit
Plus its attached to my network via a network cable…generally faster than WIFI but its speed is woeful 60 meg on a 255 meg down connection on a gigabit network
It isn’t easy looking for a small TV and I did not want a 40″+ one which would overpower the room. Even Which acknowledges the problem. So not being even remotely techy I ordered this because it said it had Dolby sound, which I understand is a good thing. I am very happy with it. To me the picture is clear and sharp and as I watch everything through the BT box anyway it is easy. I have taken off just one star for sound. I find it variable, at times excellent and clear and at others a bit tinny and lacking base. No idea why. Overall, very pleased.
I bought this for the kitchen as the size was good. I wasn’t worried about the DVD function as it’s not something we use but the cost was the same as other TV’s without it. The picture quality is very good. The colours are nice and vibrant and the picture is clear, though blacks can lack a little and changing the contrast doesn’t do much.
My main issue is the sound. While it’s not bad, it doesn’t have much volume and when you do turn it up the quality is quote poor. Even in a small kitchen, it an be hard to hear over the noise of other things going on.
Build quality does feel quite good though and despite the poor sound, I think it’s a good purchase.

A great Tv at great price but as it has been said already its not a Smart Tv delivery from Electrical Mania Was Sharp purchased on the 9th July 2021 delivered on the 12th July 2021
Recommended for HD gaming & Blu-ray Movies via Play-Station 4 or Blu-ray or DVD player bedroom tv & digital TV & CABLE TV viewing or if you are on a budget
Not Recommended as a smart tv with Apps not internet ready despite having an Ethernet port would not recommended it for home Cinema ( i would go for something larger with 4k if not 8k with a higher refresh rate)
OUT OF TEN Probably about 9.5
reason for buying An emergency replacement for old 22 inch Panasonic viera (2021 model) & this TV connections
Bought for my elderly mother, but tested ourselves. Very easy to setup, has built-in FreedView HD tuner so simply connect your regular co-ax aerial cable and the wizard guides you to tuning it. Super lightweight, good picture. It’s 768 pixels vertically so has higher resolution than a regular old-style TV but not as many as a typical modern computer monitor (1080 pixels). The 768 number is termed “HD ready” which, as I say, is better than a normal TV and just what we wanted for my mother, but a 1080p TV is what we might buy for ourselves.
Sound is not as good as our regular, trusty and ancient Ferguson CRT TV but – it’s not bad at all. You can adjust the bass / treble or use “music”, “movie” mode etc. We would *definitely* say the sound is “good”, not at all tinny. It has phono-plug connectors at the rear for connection to external speakers but no 3.5mm jack plug (some old TVs had this).
It has plenty of inputs – SCART for connecting to older FreeView tuners (remember this has FreeView built in so doesn’t need such), HDMI for newer connections and a USB connector for playing music and videos from a USB drive (tested, works really well). And as mentioned earlier, it has a regular round co-ax socket for direct-to-aerial connection.
One thing, the ON button is at the rear, on the right as you’re looking at the TV. It’s a multi-function button which functions like a miniature joystick. So you *could* use it to navigate the TV functions without the controls, but it’s obviously not designed for routine use (as it’s on the back). Controls themselves are pleasant, light, button size is pretty smart: more regularly used buttons are larger then less-used ones. We also bought the Geemarc TV-10 “simple” controls and for about ten pounds, they’re preferable but the Sharp controls themselves are definitely “good”.
Comes with feet that you screw on, a little fiddly but five minute job and looks beautiful. Very happy with our purchase, also seems way bigger than 32 inches for some reason. Highly recommended. Oh and it came super-fast too!
I bought this for my elderly father to replace a broken set, so I set it up for him. The hardest part was screwing on the bottom of the stand!! The leaflet explains that you’re basically creating the thread in the plastic yourself so if it gets too tight and won’t go in any further, unscrew it a little then keep on screwing! It needed loads of pressure so j was a bit worried about damaging the screen but I got there in the end! The stand is wobbly if you don’t fully tighten this part so has to be done. An electric screwdriver would probably help.
Anyway, on to set up! It was quite easy to get all the digital channels set up and all went well until we connected the Sky box. The picture turned pink every time we changed to Scart input, but it turned out it just wasn’t pushed in well enough. D’oh! The cable access is quite fiddly and tight though. Then we had no sound on Sky, so deduced we needed a mini Jack to RCA cable from the Sky box to the TV. The old TV managed on Scart alone but this one doesn’t. Luckily I had one so the crisis was averted!
The picture is really crisp and the sound was okay (small TV so didn’t expect much).
We linked the Sky remote to the TV easily and dad was pleased to have only one controller.
Though we did need to use the TV remote to eject DVDs, which dad found very fiddly with the very small pause/stop button! I think he’ll need a different remote. There’s also quite a lag between pressing buttons on the remote and anything actually happening on the TV. DVDs glided in and out smoothly.
So in conclusion, he’s really happy watching it. I think he’ll struggle with the small DVD controls on the remote so we’ll have to replace that if we can. He was delighted with the price we paid. A good TV once you’ve set it up!
