We use this regularly for different guests who have all given great feedback.
The air bed is comfortable and quiet. No noise when moving on the bed. The material is a bit thin but the bed stays in good shape after use. To maintain the same level of firmness , inflate a little bit everyday. Overall satisfied with the bed.
Bought this as my youngest was going to a festival and didn’t want to sleep on the ground. He showers twice a day and spends more time in the bathroom than my daughter and partner combined, so was worried how he would survive in a muddy field with no running water for a couple of days. This is light weight, rolls up quiet small, and can be pumped up without the need of puff or and extra foot pump. My partner has not yet figured out how it works, but it is comfortable once pumped up so we now have an extra bed when the extended family descend.
Didn’t deflate much through days of usage as a temp place to sleep. More importantly, easy to get back into the bag when the deflate function is used.
It was easy to inflate and use. Good for children. A bit short for a tall teenage
I was really pleased with this airbed. It was so easy to inflate in a couple of minutes and my nephew said it was really comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy the double version of it should I require one the price is reasonable too. Lovely product from a trusted name.
We’ve used 2 of these mattresses daily for last 3 weeks, both children and adults, can’t fault them.
I already have a double air bed for when guests stay over but needed an extra one to be used just one time and this was perfect. I had previously read reviews that this deflated during the night but over the course of 4 nights I only had to inflate the mattress again one time and it was just because I like the mattress quite hard (but this was not needed). I have only used this one time but I think this was a good purchase and value for money
Best air bed I’ve ever bought – thought the price was steep but felt it was worth the money once I knew how easy it was to inflate and deflate – very comfy
Was just what we needed, easy to inflate but should have a cut off when correctly inflated, otherwise a 5 star product. Got full marks from 8 year old granddaughter .
Punctured second time used – only ever used on lounge carpet.
Repair kit doesn’t work
Totally unhelpful attitude from Silent Night
Not fit for purpose.
Bought as I trusted the name. Big mistake
This is my second bed I sent the first back as was faulty and got another one. The bed is great for the first few times you use it but after you’ve used it a few times a small holes develops at the same seam and the bed struggles to stay up it’s happened with both beds I’ve been sent and this second one is now unfortunately just past the return window so can’t even get a refund do not waste your money!
Pleasantly surprised that this mattress was actually well worth the money. Wider than average, it inflated quickly & easily with the integral pump & stayed inflated through the night. Comfortable & deeper than the average inflatable mattress so you actually feel that you are being held on a bed not hovering just above the ground. Easy to deflate & fold to return to the storage bag & original box.
It’s great and easy to blow up using the internal foot pump. As with all footpumps bit of energy needed more when your 3 year old wants to help
I have to admit i was a little worried by all the negative comments people made but i decided to see for myself, and I was impressed with the air bed i blew it up with the built-in pump that took about 5 minutes to fully inflate, but after that it stayed up for our entire camping holiday, it was comfortable and reliable had no problems at all
Easy enough to pump up but obviously does take some effort. Holds air no problem but care needed to ensure valve is properly closed. Comfortable enough but it’s na. Air bed so don’t have high expectations.
Easy to use . Soft. Comfortable but should not need to be pumped up again the next day. Not easy to put back in the box.
Reading the reviews I guessed I had a 50:50 chance this would remain inflated so I took a punt. I lost. Item to be returned same day.
Update; When deflating the airbed to return it I realised there was a second valve which had not been closed completely when the bed was inflated. I closed the valve & re inflated the bed. It now stays up – so no problem. I suspect a lot of the negative reviews were because people had made the same mistake as me.
The hand/foot pump feature actually works pretty well. It isn’t the quickest, but then if you didn’t already know that I’m not sure what to say to you. It isn’t a huge amount of effort to inflate manually, I found it easy enough either with my foot or using the ‘CPR approach’ with my hands. I’ve also inflated it with a small, battery powered pump bought on Amazon. That was quick and effortless.
The bed itself is comfortable enough. I’ve read reviews saying it is wonderful, better than a proper mattress and so on. If this is better than your actual mattress then you need to buy a better mattress, but it isn’t a bad by any stretch of the imagination. You can alter how soft or firm it is (to a point) by how much you inflate it. I’ve found firmer is slightly better, less chance of sitting up and finding your bum on the floor, but preferences are personal. As an occasional bed I think it would be fine. I’d put people on it without feeling guilty about their backs in the morning. I’ve used it as a camping bed, where it is bigger and heavier than a normal bed roll but far, far comfier.
It is listed as a double but I’m not entirely convinced. I’m 6’3″ and my feet pass the end of it and I don’t think I’d get another me on there either. That said, I’m a bit of an outlier on the bell curve, it would probably fit two normal adults on there well enough. For a single sleeper it is rather spacious.
It packs down well, with the air exiting top and centre you can empty it and roll it up neatly very quickly and easily. I’ve also used the aforementioned pump to vacuum it down (seriously, cracking little gadget: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08696TW6R/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ). The material/plastic/rubber/whatever material it’s made of feels sturdy enough, and I haven’t woken up on the floor wondering where the air has gone yet either. It does smell plasticy/rubbery but then I suppose it is.
Four stars overall. It is easy enough to inflate, but easier still with an electric pump, it is absolutely comfortable enough to sleep soundly on and it is a doddle to put away too. Can’t grumble for the price I paid (25), and it’s actually dropped a couple of quid since I bought it too. I think I knocked a star off for that alone to be honest, nobody likes knowing they could have paid less for something…
Well – it’s totally fine and v good value, so what’s not to like ? The foot pump does take a bit of time to pump up the bed – but it is functional – you just need a bit of patience. If you had to buy a separate foot pump the cost would probably be doubled. My guest said it was v comfortable. It is not luxurious in any way, but what can we expect for such a bargain price !!?
