I have gone through so many different external chargers and some didn’t last long but this one is the best I’ve owned. It charges fast and it also charges more than 3 phones before it gets empty. I suppose it is a little bulky but hey everything else is great.

I particularly like this as no matter where you are you always have some juice for your electronic gadgets. It harnesses the power of the sun so it’s free energy too! Looks cool, it’s lightweight and works brilliantly well!

I am looking for a good solar power bank before going to camping, and this is the one I needed, it charges many of my devices like tablet and phone etc, and it works really well and charges fast, for camping or hiking the built is solid and to last, very satisfied, and the panels are foldable so easy to carry with me.

I bought two kinds of solar charging treasures at the same time.Compared with another one this has a larger storage capacity because it has four solar charging panels and has a lighting function on the side which is very suitable for outdoor travel without power supply

The build quality of this powerbank is excellent. It is well-constructed and feels sturdy in hand. The powerbank also features built-in safety mechanisms such as overcharging and short-circuit protection, giving me peace of mind while using it.

It is much better than I expected, it has 3 USB ports to charge your equipment. You can charge the battery either by a charging cable or via the solar panels, the bonus I didn’t expect was the LED light which can be switched to full brightness, to dim and incase of emergencies it will flash S O S at the press of the on switch. Certainly well built for camping.

Ideal .. fit for purpose, charge in the daytime used in the evening.

The battery makes a very good impression on the first impression. It looks robust and durable.
The design is compact, with an orange rubber around the side to protect against drops. There is more protection at the corners, although only at two of them. A third corner has no protection, I don’t know why. In the fourth corner, there doesn’t seem to be a need (although there is never too much) as there is a protrusion for the included carabiner. This allows us to hang the battery, for example, from the backpack so that it can be charged by the solar panel. These solar panels are good but being conscious that they are for emergencies, as they charge very slowly. There are 4 blue lights that indicate the battery and whether the solar panel is charging.
On the opposite side to the solar panel is the torch which is controlled by the button on one of the long sides. It has 4 modes, fixed low brightness, fixed high brightness, SOS sequence, rapid flash.
At one end we have the power ports, two USB-A output ports and one dual USB-C input/output port (cable USB-A to USB-C included). A very good variety of ports. These ports are pre-protected from moisture by a piece of silicone that is attached to the battery so as not to lose it. This piece has two plastics that are inserted into the USB-A ports to be perfectly fixed.
It is relatively heavy (470 grams) but in principle it also has a high capacity of 32000mAh.

Good and heavy battery with ligh

Love this battery pack. I do a lot of hiking and I can clip this onto my back pack so it charges as I walk. It’s not the lightest battery pack but with 32000mahs I’m not surprised. It’s not too heavy though so perfect for the longer trips where getting power to charge my phone is a problem. The solar panel works well and keeps the battery topped up, but I haven’t run it flat yet and tried a full charge on solar to see how long it takes, always keep it charged at home and leave in sun while walking. The battery can keep my phone topped up for days even without the solar so I love it. Bonus it comes with a decent light perfect for in the tent and an sos light setting if ever required. Good and bright too. Very happy with this.

    Good pack with handy features

a must device for a trip. especially during the summer time, just leave it at the sun and it will charge. 26.800mah should be enough for a few times to charge your phone

For me it had all the ports, and a good ergonomic way of keeping the panels on the battery. USB c female three types, and wireless.

The light is a bonus, which also has different flashing modes that I didn’t expect. The panels should charge well as there are so many.

This powerbank works well. The large capacity battery can charge my phone (Samsung s10) 5 times.

The solar panels fold out easily and are useful for trickle charging at a low rate – fine if you are out in the sun walking and want to charge your phone or when your camping as you can just leave the charger hanging on the outside of the tent or on a chair to charge whilst you get on with things.

Not too bad weightwise for carrying – I have a similar capacity non-solar panel pack that weighs more! Small enough to put in a bag or side coat pocket.

Charging the powerbank at home via plug took around 4 hours to get it fully charged.

This is such a useful charger when camping out, it charges surprisingly well considering it’s solar powered. The size is nice and compact which is ideal and it’s very high quality.

This is a powerful power bank that is a little bulky but the fact it can charge quite a few items is very useful and means the fact it is a little heavy doesn’t bother me. It does take a while to charge via the solar panels. In summer I can imagine it would be better.

Overall I like that it is still portable even though it is a little bigger than other power banks. It charges my phone a few times before it needs charging up again.

This power bank is a very useful gadget, especially for those who travel a lot or enjoy camping. It works as a conventional power bank but it also has solar charging. The solar charging isn’t that fast but it’s better than nothing if you are somewhere without electricity.

This is so great. For travelling , camping hiking ect it’s just brilliant. A power bank everywhere you go that doesn’t need electricity. It works so well and even charges in dimmer days. Would highly recommend!

It’s a well-built, sturdy, heavy solar power bank (which is not necessarily bad). It’s not so large that you can’t keep it entirely in your trouser pocket—it’ll just take up more space. But it’s large enough to be easily portable in your backpack or suitcase.

The charging with USB is good, but it takes a long time to charge with the solar panel. However, it’s a good backup when camping or travelling where you find limited power sources. The torch is a nice touch!

I hope this review helps you to make a purchasing decision.

This is a fantastic unit. I will write the review with charging phones in mind, but you can charge many devices with this!

The solar power bank has a large capacity of 26800mAh, this means that even without recharging it you will have plenty of charges for your adventures – for reference many phones sit at around 4000-5000mAh, so depending on your phones size you could get quite a few charges.

The solar panels are quite nice, they fold out very easily and can provide an easy way to recharge whilst on the go, this means that if you are without electricity for a good period of time you will be able to recharge the unit albeit with some time.

There are a couple downsides, but nothing major. The charging speed of the unit is not the fastest, but it still pretty good. Charging a phone will talk longer than it would at home if you have a good charger, but it doesn’t take a horrendous amount of time, and this is typically expected of portable chargers. The device is also quite heavy, but not too bad.

26800 mAh is impressive enough for a powerbank but that it unfolds and charges wireless and then recharges with sunlight alone is just stunning.

It also doubles up as a torch. The light has 3 different modes.

I can very highly recommend this solar power bank to anyone!

5.0 out of 5 stars Stunning solar powerbank

Great power bank, it has a fast cell phone charge on type C, the solar panel recharge is excellent, and it has a good finish. Negative point is the LED light which is weak does not offer good clarity and the rubber protection of the USB and type c ports which is very flexible and easy to open allowing the entry of liquid, but I would recommend this product to any friend of mine without any problem.

Nice portable power bank which doesn’t feel too heavy and take up a lot of space. Very easy to use, and carry around all day. Fast speed- charges my phone really quick The best thing about this is the solar power which is quite unique and so handy, as you can just leave it out in the sun and it gets charged too!

Makes life so much easier and quicker. Nice portable charger which does the job and charges phone really quickly and supports wireless charging which is quite cool. Lightweight and nice design. Battery life on this lasts about 4-5 full charges which good too! Also serves as a flash light too which is great and is waterproof. Quite a versatile power bank!

Nice solid power bank with the addition of solar panels, charges my devices fast with the PD functionality, charges fast and can top it up with the help of the sun, I just leave it on the window sill to charge, it’s slow with this weak English sun but good for topping up an already charged battery.

The quality is nice, it feels robust, would be good for traveling as a backup when you have no mains to charge the power bank, has the ability to charge wirelessly, and also comes with a built-in torch.

5.0 out of 5 stars Put it in the window and forget about it.

This is a very capable powerbank. It charges my devices at a decent rate, its not the quickest but it isn’t slow too. For example my phone takes an hour and 12 mins to charge from home. With this it takes an hour and 45 minutes .

The fact it has several solar panels to help catch the sunlight better is brilliant. The only thing I have marked it down on is “for travelling” as it is bulky and very heavy for its size and power.

Apart from that I am happy with this

  27. Anonymous says:

     United Kingdom

Now as long as you don’t mind the fact you are never going to fully charge this purely on the solar then it’s brilliant. So handy to have and keeps life simple.
We have several lined up on the windowsil so the kids can grab them as they need them which will be a good send once they have mobiles and are on the move there will never be an excuse of a flat battery again. A must have in any home

  28. Anonymous says:

You have to accept that the solar panels are only really for emergency use but they do give a trickle charge boost which is welcome. This is a large capacity powerbank so it is not light. I would say it’s not for your pocket. I love that you can fast charge and wireless charge. The flash light is a nice extra but probably not as useful as a dedicated torch. Still if we have power blackouts this winter I guess every little helps.

What an impressive bit of kit!

Fantastic quality, solid, multi use charger/flash light, with 4 brilliant solar panels to recharge and power the main unit, capable of charging multiple devices at once, you can use to charge your smart watch, apple products such as iPad, iPhone, laptop, android devices, camera and so much more, just connect your item to start recharging.
So handy to have, great for your travels, camping, to give you emergency power top ups, anytime, anywhere.
You also get the added torch light with different light settings, great in any situation.

Highly advise to fully charge the power unit for the first time by plugging into the mains because I’ve used solar chargers before and using the solar panels alone to recharge such a large power bank will not be reliable, but the solar charging works good when needed.
It is a bit on the heavy side but not too bulky!

Very Impressed with this solar charge

This 2 in1 solar light + USB charger is amazing. I was looking for charger that can charge by solar light, and this is what I exactly want.
    In the box:
A unit itself, USB cable, user manual.
    Appearance:
It is well made, portable, bit heavy than other portable chargers.
    Features:
    This portable 2 in 1 charger has many features, such as;
    * It can charge 4 devices at the same time. 2 USB port, 1 wireless charger output, Type-C input, out put.
    * It instantly start charging in solar light.
    as shown in video.
    * Flash light and a torch
    * It charge faster than other wireless chargers.
    Experience:
After few usage, I came to the conclusion that it is worth to buy, and a must have solar power bank. It is a compact device for indoor or outdoor. It can run wireless portable fan and lights, and has a power of 18W. A bit heavy, but heavy duty work.
It is durable and well made. It is aesthetically designed, just like a mini leather wallet.
    I love to recommend it.

Superb device, 2 in1, Instantly start charging in solar light.

Really good quality item, that charged my accessories fast.

The solar function seems quite responsive, green charging light comes on as soon as you put it near the window.

The wireless charging seemed to charge up my iPhone pretty quickly, a lot quicker than the one I have that’s plugged into the mains.

The built in torch is surprisingly bright, a nice added bonus feature, it also has a flashing function

If you’re buying this for travelling or backpacking then you may want to bear in mind that it is quite heavy, it weighs over half a kilo.

The weight will be down to the amount of batteries that are inside, not a bad thing if weight isn’t an issue to you.

Good product, does the job. Recommended

Good solid useful piece of ki

Ideal for long hikes! 4 panels provide far more reliable source for electricity compared to single panel power banks.

Huge 26,800mAh, relatively compact given the size & the panels stay attached with a handle button clip.

The bank itself feels reasonable quality with the solar panels feeling the best. Not sure on the wattage but can definitely see this being great for hikes.

The Potuem power bank is a fairly chunky bit of kit for 26800mAh, but then it’s not intended to be the everyday power bank you carry around in your laptop bag.

Charging your devices is achieved either via the Qi wireless panel on the top, or by the pair of USB A ports, or the higher power USB C port (which is also used for charging the battery bank). I was able to successfully charge a couple of phones, drone batteries and an action camera at the same time by exploiting all available options.

The integrated solar panels are a nice addition, while solar charging, especially in the UK, is never going to be all that efficient, it’s a nice option to fall back on if needed. I usually carry a small set of solar panels in my backpack to provide emergency power if needed, so having them integrated into a batter bank is a big plus for me.

The Potuem power has replaced my other emergency power devices and lives in my pack when out mounting biking or walking.

Great to have as a backup

This is quite expensive compared to some power banks, but then you’re getting the solar option. It’s quite a hefty thing and although the pictures suggest you can put in your pocket, you need a big pocket and it will weigh you down a little! I like the idea of the solar panels. They’re good for maintaining the charge in the power bank, but not awfully successful at recharging the power bank, unless you have good sunlight and/or lots of time. A great back up plan though and super for camping and walking etc. Good charging options. The wireless charging works ok, but you do need to position the phone quite carefully and if it slips a little then the charging stops. Has a torch too which is a nice addition.

This power bank has four solar panels on, three of which fold out and fold up again and are secured with a press stud. There is a torch light on the front that is activated when you long press the on button, it has three modes. There are four blue LED lights at the side to indicate charge levels.
It is a really solid unit, it does not feel cheap or plastic and the ports are covered with a little rubber cap to protect them. There are two standard USB out ports and one USB-C in and out port. As well as the ability to charge wireless.
It is easy to charge and saves using power from an outlet all the time, the only downside being that you obviously need sun to use the solar panels to charge but it can be charged as well normally using in the in/out USB C port. It is not a good idea to rely on solar energy to charge it completely but it is a good bonus.
I tested with my phone and it successfully engaged fast charge when I plugged it into the USB-C port. However it will depend on how many devices you have plugged in to how fast it will charge.
I like the fact that it is rainproof, which is great when you are using the panel outside, especially charging it in the sunlight.
The wireless charging works well, you just put your device on it and off it goes, I tested with my Android phone and it engaged wireless fast charging, simple and easy.
It is not the smallest or lightest charger I have used but it has a large capacity and seems very reliable, as soon as I plug a device in then it charges. Also having 4 solar panels gives this charger much more use as a solar device as there is more sunlight being picked up.
This is a really good powerbank that offers both wired and wireless charging, my only criticism would be a little display would have been handy to show charge level as the four lights are not as precise. That aside this is a great little powerbank.

    Charges wired and wireless well

This is a handy gadget and seems very sturdy and good quality for the price.
Basically, it’s a portable power-pack with the option to recharge with solar power in an emergency. The power-pack itself appears to hold a fairly substantial amount of energy, and can recharge gadgets in a variety of ways. It has three USB ports and a circular pad for wireless recharging of iPhones etc. This works well, and items soon recharge. Solar charging of the power-pack seemed slower than plugging it into electricity – but still worthwhile if you’re spending a few days outdoors without access to plug-points, or at home during a power cut. It might charge a bit faster on a really bright summer’s day, rather than an intermittently cloudy autumn afternoon. Finally, it also works as a flashlight, and even has an automatic SOS flash mode, which could be potentially life-saving for a hiker who falls and gets injured. It should keeping sending a bright SOS signal for as long as it has enough power.

Absolutely superb powerbank this with a few added extras over the norm.

26800mAh rated and boy did it take some hours to finish fully charging (more on that later)

3 wired output which are 2 x USB-A ports & 1 x USB-C Port (also used for charging the powerbank) and also there is wireless charging on the back of the powerbank all rated for high speed charging which in our tests did work as planned even with the samsung phone wireless it said rapid wireless charging on the display. A big thumbs up for this.

Back to the charging the powerbank though and this is unique (compared to others I have) with solar panel charging there is one panel on the powerbank itself and three more of equal size can be unfolded and was tested outside on a fairly cloudy morning and the green LED lit to state charge was going into the bank. I do think in the summer months out and about this could prove really useful while walking get the solar panels opened and replenish the power bank.

The bank also shows a 25,50,75 & 100% blue led which flash on the corresponding level of battery charge (until full)

As a side issue but most powerbanks seem to have them nowadays is the torch function activated by long press of the power button on the side, and can be cycled to create an sos light.

    Great little produc

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb powerbank with added extras

This thing means business. It’s quite a chunky item and once the solar panes are unfurled, it’s very impressive looking. There’s plenty of power in its 26800mAh battery, and at 18w fast-charge, it’s really impressive how much power this can deliver. The ability to charge up to 4 devices simultaneously is hugely impressive. Once you’ve filled up the two USB slots and the one USB C slot ,there’s the built in Qi charger as it’s ‘one more thing’ party trick…

The flashlight is a nice addition, great for camping etc. It’s impressive that they’ve even thought to include a tethering point – or hanging, depending on what you need – a sign of how well this thing has been thought out.. It is more expensive than a regular battery power bank, but it offers so much more.. I’d say that it’s so useful that it would be a ‘no-brainer’ to buy this over anything else.

    Impressive indeed.

This heavy solar power bank arrives in a box with a usbC charging lead. It is a heavy bulky power bank but looks robust. There is a strap secured by a popper that holds the solar panels together against the power pack when it is not in use.
The solar panels unfold and each one is the size of the power bank. There is a usbC input/output plus 2 usbA output sockets. It even has wireless charging for your phone. It states that it can recharge a tablet 4 times on a single charge which if correct would cover me for a weeks camping trip.
There are 5 lights to show how much charge remains in the pack, they flash whilst the bank is charging.
There is a small plastic loop on the side that can be used for hanging the power bank but you would need a carabiner or similar.
The torch has 3 settings, on/ SOS/ flashing. It isn’t particularly bright but would wok in an emergency.
Overall this solar power supply is solid, ready for a hike or camping trip. The weight would put me off of carrying it on a hike but I would certainly use it when camping.
39.99 at the time of writing is a fair price given the solar panel capability but I would only use it if I was going to be restricted from an electrical supply for a number of days.
