Easily the cutest controllers I have! I was debating on getting these or regular joycons, but I mainly play handheld mode, so I decided to get these! I’m so happy I went with these instead

Bin sehr zufrieden mit den Hori Joy Cons. Sie liegen angenehm in den Hnden und sind verdammt leicht. Ich empfinde die Qualitt nicht als billig.
Fr mich ist es nicht schlimm dass einige Features von den Originalen fehlen, bei den gespielten Games fllt es nicht auf.
Dadurch dass diese Hori Variante nicht so wuchtig ist, lsst sich die Switch auch gut transportieren.

I have the other split pad pro and I must say this product definitely feels a lot better in terms of comfort. Playing games like monster hunter rise and fire emblem engage felt perfect.
Came in manufactures box inside of an Amazon shipment box. They are perfect for what I need. They have a comfortable grip, save battery on my switch, and the bonus of the art that’s a great want. I highly recommend.
These things are fantastic! At first I didn’t like how mushy the buttons were in comparison to the stock joycons, but they’ve grown on me and I now prefer them. The turbo button is a serious carpal-tunnel saver, especially in Pokemon where there’s lots of tedious clicking.

I’m a fairly light switch user, only got into using it again after the new I got Pokmon games for my birthday. I noticed from day one that you can’t use them while they aren’t attached, and they have no ability to be turned on even when unattached. 3.5/5 stars, but amazon doesn’t let you do 0.5 stars
Avevo problemi a giocare in portabilit con i Joycon nativi essendo troppo piccoli. Ho optato per i Compact perch i pro sono troppo ingombranti. La scelta stata perfetta, ottima ergonomia, sensibilit degli stick fantastica, feed dei tasti molto buono. Ovviamente mancano vibrazione e accelerometro e non si possono utilizzare staccati dalla Switch, per un compromesso accettabile per la gran parte dei giochi.
I wish I can give this a 6 star rating its that perfect for me. No grep was this good. I have tried multiples. It’s not heavy either but durable. Buttons feel great, sticks are nice firm but giving.. perfect!.. I try not to simp for a product but this product deserves it.
This is exactly what you want if you want a little more grip and not too much bulk. The only thing is it doesn’t support rumble…which I enjoy. I knew that going in though
Best joycons I have ever seen. To be honest, this is much better than the previous one.
I used the split pad pro before and I didn’t like the fact that keeps on disconnecting. I changed it for this one. Finally!
Got these because my joy-cons were drifting, but turns out these are just better in nearly every way. Buttons feel nicer, no more hand cramps during longer gameplay sessions. No gyro or rumble support but the pros still out weight the (joy) cons!
Estn bonitos y no se sienten tan frgiles como los tradicionales del switch que vienen incluidos. Si los recomiendo mucho.

Could’ve been better with motion controls, wireless play and rumble support but even without those things I still prefer them over regular joycons. If only the Switch came with these instead, complete game changer for me.
Ottimo prodotto per chi si stancato della scarsa qualit dei joycon Nintendo, ma soprattutto per la paura del “drift” tipico dei controller switch originali.
Provato con Giochi come Hades e Monster Hunter Rise dove il ritmo frenetico e il pad messo alla prova. Perfetto in tutto, sia nella risposta che nella maneggevolezza.

Lo que no me pareci tan cmodo fueron los botones adicionales en la parte trasera de los controles pues no estn tan bien adaptados como s se sentan en el SPP original.
Los colores utilizados en este modelo de Gengar son muy lindos y exactamente como se retratan en la imgenes: azules y morados pastel, la silueta del personaje bien definida que se siente de buena calidad, no siendo demasiado ligeros pero para nada pesados.
Muy buena opcin para los que buscan una alternativa a los pequeos joycons y que no quieren algo tan “estorboso” como los splid pad pro normales.
Amazing controllers 10x better then the original and much more comfortable to hold and use.
Oltre ad essere esteticamente bellissimi (cosa che ovviamente soggettiva) i materiali sembrano molto robusto e piacevoli al tatto. Estremamente apprezzati gli analogici con un grip davvero ottimo (credo il migliore mai trovato fino ad ora). Sono perfetti per che non ha mani enormi (in quel caso consiglierei il modello pro) e molto molto comodo per le loro funzioni di “assign” che permette di copiare le funzioni di un tasto qualsiasi e riportarlo ai tasti aggiuntivi sul retro, e la funzione “turbo” che permette di far ripetere la pressione di un tasto qualsiasi a diverse velocit.
Ovviamente hanno i loro limiti, si alimentano dalla console e non possono essere usati da scollegati quindi come i joycon standard Nintendo.
Se volete giocare in portatile e vi interessa la comodit con un pizzico di estetica e dei comandi molto semplici con qualche aggiunta interessante, ve li consiglio assolutamente.
Piccola nota conclusiva: attenzione alla custodia, se non volete rimuoverli dalla console e portarla in giro come pezzo unico comprate quella abbinata, contiene la console con i joycon collegati senza problemi (oltre ad essere esteticamente molto bella)
These have a very good build quality and are very comfortable to hold.
The only thing i would change is to make the railing fit a little tighter. My left Controller firts perfectly snug but the right one is a little more loose on my switch oled. It is similar to how the original switch had a little loose joy-cons than the oled. So i can imagine the fit would be a little worse on the original switch too.
A good sized controller that is bigger than the standard ones but smaller then a full sized.
Works fine in all kind of games and do not take to much space.
These are amazing for three main reasons, ANALOG STICKS FEEL AMAZING (And yes they are very accurate), the Turbo button is goated, and quality. The design is a bonus but all around these are great & provide the perfect ergonomic grip. I actually feel like I can hold my switch with one hand from time to time (not that I recommend you do lol).
Kontroler mia suy do grania w gry platformowe i gry, w ktrych niewygodnie byo wciska przyciski lub kontrolowa kamer (np. Gry z widokiem 3 osoby). O ile w platformwkach si sprawdzi to niestety nie dopatrzyem, e nie ma yroskopu i nie mona gra na nim w splatoon 3
Kontrollen r genomgende bra, kvalitn r toppen. Kontrollen skulle f full pott om den dessutom hade amiiboostd som den saknar. Frstr inte varfr kontrollen inte har stdet d andra tillverkare kan ha det i sina kontroller. Skulle kunna betala 100-200kr mer fr kontrollen om den hade stdet fr amiiboos.
En definitiva unos grandes mandos que solucionan un gran problema de la switch y aunque no tenga tecnologia de vibracion o giroscopio para mi es mas importante la comodidad en portatil y aunque aun me canse al sujetarlo puedo aguantar muchas mas horas de juego sin llegar a dormirseme las manos.
Hori products offers great 3rd party officially licensed Nintendo products! Been buying their stuff for previous devices like DS and PS Vita.
These controllers are a slightly slimmer version of Hori Split Pad Pro which are also my favorite for playing in handheld mode when it comes to the Nintendo Switch. These can only be played in handheld mode as they don’t have internal batteries to play wirelessly.
I find regular Switch joycons causes fatigue, hate the analog on them and I always need a full body grip to use them more comfortably. The Hori Split Pad controllers both Pro and Compact have solved a lot of my issues with the official Nintendo joycon controllers. Other third parties just can’t compare to the Hori controllers quality, even if some say they feel cheap due to how light weight they are. They don’t have dead zones when it comes to the analog sticks!
These are lightweight with backstand “nubs” on each controller to help counteract the weight of the device as you play. Removing these backstand “nubs” will cause a slight dipping when you hold the whole Switch unit as one. So removing them would defeat the purpose of these nubs, I highly suggest keeping them as they are to prevent the controllers from snapping off the Switch controller rails.
The controllers are responsive with assigned key buttons you can keybind yourself. Just remember that you can’t cross keybind between the controllers meaning if you want X button on the right controller it can only be assigned to that controller, not to the left. Wish Hori would find a work around for this in the future.
I haven’t had any stick drift on my Hori controllers both Pro and the white/yellow Compact versions that released way before these Pokmon themed ones. The buttons on these Compacts are more mushier than the Pro versions which I still very much like as I like clicky and mushy buttons. So it’s all personal preference.
I love anything Pikachu and was so happy this version released in USA. The matching Hori Pouch also fits with these controllers attached to the OLED version. The print on the controllers are nicely detailed while being toned down vs the more bold themes of the Pro versions. Here’s hoping they don’t fade with use overtime.
A tad overprice when you can easily buy a Nintendo Switch Pro controller for a bit more, but again it’s great for handheld users like myself 🙂
Es ist ingesamt etwas schmaler und kompakter als die Pro Variante, und sieht wie ich finde auch etwas besser aus. Die Rckseiten sind ergonomisch erhht, also genau wie beim Vorgnger.
Dadurch liegt auch das Hori Split Pad Compact sehr gut in der Hand. Dass es ingesamt etwas schmaler geworden ist, strt mich mit mein etwas greren Hnden berhaupt nicht.
Es liegt immer noch deutlich besser in der Hand als die originalen Joy Cons.
Wie erwartet hat man wieder 2 ausgewachsene Sticks und ausgewachsene Schulterbuttons.
Auch ein vernnftiges Steuerkreuz wurde wieder verbaut. Die 4 Front Buttons sind auch angenehm gro.
Die 2 Sticks und die 4 Front Buttons sind im Vergleich zum Vorgnger dem Hori Split Pad Pro minimal kleiner. Die Przision beeintrchtigt das jedoch nicht, und die Druckpunkte sind auch sehr gut.
Diesmal haben jedoch die Sticks eine strukturierte Oberflche, die fr besseren Grip sorgen sollen.
Auerdem sind diesmal die Plus, Minus, Share Button, Home Button, Assign und Turbo Button aus Plastik. Beim Vorgnger waren diese noch aus Gummi.
Auch Positiv aufgefallen ist mir, dass die Controller diesmal auf einer Hhe mit dem Switch Bildschirm sind. Es wirkt also mehr wie aus einem Guss.
Weil beim Vorgnger lag der Bildschirm noch ein ganzes Stck tiefer als die Controller.
Die Nachteile sind, dass man immer noch kein Rumble, keine NFC Schnittstelle und keine Bewegungssensoren hat. Auch kann man die Controller nicht einzeln im Bluetooth Modus nutzen, da sie entsprechend auch keinen Akku haben.
Htte der Controller jedoch diese Features, wrde dies warscheinlich den Preis deutlich steigen lassen.
Ich brauche diese Features alle nicht, von daher ist das Hori Split Pad Compact fr mich perfekt.
Einzig die Vibrationsfunktion/ Rumble vermisse ich etwas.
Ich bin mit dem Controller sehr zufrieden. Die Verarbeitung ist absolut super.
Persnlich finde ich ihn insgesamt noch etwas besser als den Vorgnger.
Absolute Kaufempfehlung.
