They sent me a replacement, for my defective one. It is sturdy and reliable, no complains. Just make sure your dashboard has a flat surface or like me you will need to stick it to the windshield.
Stuck to the windscreen neatly. Comes with a pad to stick to the dashboard that provides a flat surface for the suction cup. It also appears to have glue of some sort on the suction cup. For now…it appears stuck forever so has become a permanent feature of the car.
Updated: after my earlier comment they got in touch ro offer a vent phone holder. Was great to see they take reviews seriously and they endeavour to meet customer needs.
Most phone holder i had in past uses only suction. But this one has glue on top of suction cup which is very sticky. So their military grade suction is basically glued suction!! Hence can’t stick this on windscreen and have to use it with the additional glue plate that it comes with. I removed the glue from suction cup to use it normally but then doesn’t stick for long. Total waste of money.
For the money I paid for phone holder I was expecting cheap, but no it was of good quality and ridged. As I have leather in my car it will not stick to it so I use it as window attachme
Works great, easy to install and adjust. I’m short so being able to make the phone stand move close is a useful feature. The suction cups are strong and it stays in place.
The Car Phone Holder for the dashboard is a convenient accessory for drivers. Its adjustable design accommodates various phone sizes, keeping devices within easy reach while driving. The adhesive attachment ensures a secure hold, even on bumpy roads. However, direct sunlight may affect the adhesive over time. Overall, this holder provides a safe and accessible solution for navigating, making calls, or using GPS hands-free, enhancing driving convenience and safety.
Ok so bought this as I was working on a farm driving a Forkift, driving in bumpy uneven ground I did wonder if it would do the job. Please believe me when I say this is the best thing I’ve bought this year, I attached this to the side window and stuck my iPhone 12 max in it and it ain’t moved it fallen off not even once. You can extent it’s reach and have it in almost any position you like.
Just make sure you clean the glass you are going to stick it to.
Highly recommended would 100% recommend.
Well really impressed with this phone holder excellent quality,, much better than my previous one, this one is much more stable and holds the phone much better would definitely recommend!
Used in a car to carry a phone for satnav. Plenty of adjustments and pretty sure it would fit any car. Too early to see if the sucker becomes unstuck but hopefully it will not. All other parts are robust and well engineered.
The phone holder feels well made, it has a good range of adjustment options and the suction cup is solid, however I didn’t realise that the holder is designed to be attached to the dash via the sticky pad it comes with, rather than to a window as the suction cup has a strong adhesive on it.
It says in the instructions that the suction cup can be washed, so hopefully over time the stickiness will disappear.
Had loads of phone holders, all were actually rubbish and most were more expensive than this one, this one though for the money is in a different league holds my phone securely in a position which is comfortable for me, ended up buying 3 in total 2 were next day purchases for friends that were impressed with it.
I bought this item to replace a much cheaper alternative that I’d quickly bought after passing my test. In terms of quality I couldn’t be happier, it’s strong and sturdy and works really well in all angles and positions.
I have a Ford KA 2015, the dashboard is spacious but I wanted something that wouldn’t impede my view which some alternatives do. This fits really nicely and I’ve had no problems at all with fitting my phone and plugging it into the car to connect the maps and music.
Would definitely recommend!
Recommend this gadget as it was easy to fix in place, has stayed in place. It is v easy to vary position of holder. Held phone securely and notch in base meant it was easy to fix charging cable to phone. Seems well made and solid.
A month in using this and it is a great product. Very sturdy, sticks to my windscreen perfectly with the suction part and holds my phone in place securely. I travel a lot and this is the best product by far at a good price too
I bough this a week ago and fitted it straight away. I have had a few of these types of device on various cars and vans. Out of the box it seems to be really quite good. There was not trying to push it has hard as you can on the windscreen to get it to stick, it almost grabbed it on its own. So far very pleased indeed and would recommend to other people, also as usual the service through Amazon, just perfect.
I have tried so many phone holder’s for my car!
My phone just ended up falling into the footwell, and when you’re trying to drive it’s dangerous!
I need my phone to help me find my routes to addresses!
So this phone holder stays in place, I can move it to whatever position I want and that way I’m hands free and safe.
Really pleased with i
The product is great, sturdy and strong – it holds a reasonably heavy phone in place during a long journey. The only problem is that there is absolutely no-where to install it in the vehicle I bought it for – there is no flat dash surface in a suitable location in a ford kuga. I deliberately do not want it on the windscreen (which is a LONG way from the driver in a kuga). I really do stress that this is an issue with the vehicle not the product. I have given it to a friend with a vauxhall corsa where it works fantastically!!
Great dashboard phone holder for your car.
Use this for when wanting to use the maps on iPhone for directions rather than the car gps. Especially when the car gps doesn’t update quick enough on the go when there’s traffic or accidents like the iPhone maps.
The phone holder suctions on the dash very well, it doesn’t move.
The holder can be adjusted to your phone size.
So far no problems, would recommend
Really solid phone holder from TOPK.
Plenty of adjustability, great suction and adhesive options, with an optional dash mount included too.
Good strong rubber grips on either side which hold your phone securely.
Nice soft release too, which means your phone won’t end up on the floor.
Would definitely recommend
Really good phone holder. It sticks firmly to the windscreen and holds my phone snuggly. Great sturdy quality and great value for money too. I love it.
My husband is using this in his lorry and is very impressed so far.
Well made with strong suction, it’s not moved at all even on bumpy roads.
Easy to install, it holds the phone firmly in place.
Would recommend.
Ideal for your car to hold the phone so you can see at a good heigh
The suction on the holder is excellent. It has an adjustable arm that comes forward and locks in place with a locking screw. Same with the up and down motion of the arm, also has a ball joint for the phone clamp itself. The release mechanism for the phone is smooth and push button, very nice.
There is an adhesive pad you can stick to your dash and the suction cup adheres to that. Alternatively you can just use the window.
Well made , easy to install, only dropped a star because it does rattle a little bit some times. I negated this by having the phone clamp also resting on the dash a bit.
I needed something a little bigger for HGV to stretch over the dashboard and this works out perfect.
Very strong suction which is a bonus with the lorry tending to bounce all over the place.
The only slight annoyance if you can call it that is the release button is a little hard to reach as it’s small and when you have a phone on is hidden ( I’m sure that wouldn’t make the slightest difference but thought I’d point it out.
I’m not going to lie but this was a lot better than I was expecting. On opening the package, the product felt light, and the plastic seems a little thin, I’ve had a few of these in the past and they’re normally a bit chunkier. On reading the instructions it suggests that you use the plate which seems to have an adhesive on it that allows it to stick to the dashboard or something else.
At this point, I was thinking that the sucker probably isn’t very good and that’s why it needs the flat disc but playing with it for a bit I found that the grip expands a lot you can fit a larger phone and its case in it (my Nokia 8.3 is 82mm x 170mm including case). You might fit a little more in this but not much. I have had universal holders in the past and my phone has been too big to fit.
On to the fitting I tried to place the disc, and I knew that it wouldn’t really be that practical in my car as it has a curved dashboard rather than a convenient flat dashboard. I couldn’t really find a place to position the disc where I would feel comfortable having it while driving.
However, the manual says you can clean the sucker for repositioning so cleaned the sucker, with water, and cleaned the interior of the windscreen with glass cleaner and then water on a kitchen cloth and the sucker does sticks really well, without the disc. Once, adjusted It feels nice and firm and that thinner plastic really comes into play if, like me, you have an older large heavier phone (with case) the combined weight is still less, and it doesn’t seem to phase the sucker.
Once stuck, the phone grip and arm allow plenty of movement allowing you to place the phone horizontally, or vertically.
At the time of writing, I have only taken the car to the shops with this on and it seems to hold fine, but I will update this review once I have done a longer journey.
I was very pleased which this product and given the price of around 10, I have given this 5 out of 5 stars.
This is a really good phone holder that adheres with a sticky suction cup to the dashboard but it does come off and you can move it.
Holds phone in place securely without wobbling about and great value at 11.99 at time of review
Excellent phone holder.
I really like this phone cradle and I’ve tried out quite a few.
I’ve left my review for week to give it a good test with lots of driving whilst using my phone as a touch free sat nav and this holder has worked extremely well.
Doesn’t bounce around with the phone in or out.
Nicely designed and looks good
Simple to install with the included instructions and suction pad.
Holds in place on the windscreen very well.
Would recommend
This is a great phone holder for the car
The stick on it is very strong and there is zero movement when driving which is perfect for long journeys using your phone for a map
Very simple to install just stick into place and you’re all set
Make sure you stick it where you want to keep it as the suction is super strong
This car phone holder by TOPK works flawlessly and I am surprised by just how sturdy it is! It sticks (via suction power) to my car dashboard with ease and can even be moved around as required. No permanent fixing which sis important as I am worried glue will damage the car. Not the case here.
The arm is adjustable to an extent and can be moved around to suit your needs. This also includes the angle at which your phone can be seen from the drivers / passengers seat. This is great for when you use a sat-nav as it means you can read the map without it restricting view of the road/ becoming a distraction. This is crucial for health and safety. The build quality is good and I haven’t had an issue with my phone falling off since use the last few weeks. The phone holder can also be adjusted to meet the dimension requirements of your phone too to rest assured! It fit my iPhone 13 perfectly fine!
Overall, 5 stars!
Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! 🙂
I’ve struggled to find anything that holds my phone securely whilst I’m in the car.
Anyone who owns an ‘Astra J’ model will realise the air vents are oddly vertical not horizontal, I’ve never had a car with vertical vents until this one… so my previous car phone cradle was no good.
Not only that, phones seem to be getting thinner, but screen size increasing so its good that this cradle is universally sized to hold most phones including my Galaxy 21+ or my partners iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Quite easy to grasp straight out the box so very much a ‘buy and go’ piece of kit. Little assembly required. There’s basically two pieces to put together and then a seal to remove to reveal a ‘sticky’ part in order to attach it to your dash. The stickiness seemed a lot stronger than cellotape, I think they’ve used some type of clear glue. You also have a choice of clipping the device to an air conditioning/heater valve if applicable. The actual phone holder is a clamp but seemed different to other ones I have seen. Rather than retaining a consistent pressure where you have to more or less ‘squeeze’ your phone out with brute strength, the mechanism used in this piece of kit is far easier yet equally as secure. There’s basically a release valve which will release the pressure of the clamp when wanting to remove your phone.
The only thing I would say to be mindful of is that if your phone contains anything on the back, such as a pop ring, this might dramatically hinder the effectiveness of this device. It seems very much intended for a ‘flat back’ phone (i.e not intended to accommodate outrageous phone cases) but it can adjust to a variety of phone sizes regardless of brand.
This is a strong and sturdy phone holder designed to securely hold a phone up to 85mm wide.
I chose it because it adheres to a vehicle windscreen or dashboard fascia rather than latching onto a heater vent having discovered most of the latter tend to work loose and fall off. I also prefer my phone to not block my heater in winter or air-con in summer. Instead, this phone holder is supplied with an adhesive 8cm diameter disk for fitting to a dashboard/fascia or it can use the suction fitting on the phone holder’s stem which is also highly adhesive to fit directly onto the windscreen. It is important to choose the preferred location in advance because once it is fitted, it adheres tightly and is not designed to be removed.
Because I use internal sunshades in summer and the phone holder would get in the way, I fitted mine to the dashboard, first cleaning it with alcohol-based hand gel then using the adhesive disk then applied the disk which provides a smooth, flat surface for the phone holder to adhere to. Once in place, it doesn’t budge, even on bumpy roads or in cold weather.
The stem of the holder is very well designed and can be adjusted through a plane of nearly 180 so the phone can overhang the dashboard or be raised in front of the windscreen. The arm length can be adjusted from 7 to 13cm long and the ball-head connection can also be adjusted to ensure that not only is the phone in the optimum position but it can also be angled or tinted, eg to avoid reflections on the screen, or to switch between portrait and landscape use, the latter being ideal for a phone used as a Sat-Nav or for filming a route. The phone is inserted by pressing on the side button which opens the side arms which are then closed manually to grip the phone. It is supported beneath by a cradle which can pull down by about 1cm to perfectly fit the phone and there is a gap between the cradle feet to allow easy access for a charging cable.
While driving, the phone remains securely in place with no wobble.
Build quality matches its high functionality. My only gripe is that it is designed to be positioned only once so the initial positioning is important and, as a consequence of this, it is fixed inside the vehicle, messy to remove the adhesive pads so is not practical for switching between vehicles as I had hoped to do. However, for longer-term use in a single vehicle, it is hard to beat for quality, practicality and remaining securely fixed to the dashboard or windscreen.
This car holder for phones (tested with iPhone 14 and a Sony android model ) comes with a self adhesive mounting pad for matt finished dashboards etc in addition to the usual lever-operated suction cup
The main section is adjustable at each joint and the main arm is adjustable for length (100 – 150mm) so there should be a solution for most cars. The phone is gripped nicely and there’s a ‘soft eject’ release button for the phone arms.
I first tried this mounting directly to a smooth window surface and the combination of the suction mechanism and the tacky/glue finish on the sucker meant quite a struggle to get it off again.
There is a release tag on the sucker so it was possible but won’t be coming off by accident. Of course typically some dust etc will get on the surfaces and removal would likely get easier with repeated use.
Probably not ideal if you need to remove and hide the holder each time when parking but for more permanent installation I’d say its great and very secure.
Wasn’t expecting a whole lot from this having been disappointed so many times before with other cradles but I was pleasantly surprised. The cradle can be mounted on your dash with the supplied adhesive pad which opens up a world of possibilities when it comes to where you can locate it. Once in place it’s very secure and you can easily fit or remove your phone. Really pleased!
This kit from Topk offers great flexibility in how you mount the cradle, you can mount it to the windscreen or dashboard/console using the supplied adhesive disc. Each method produces a stable mounting option and with the exception of the adhesive disc, can be moved to any other vehicle with relative ease. The cradle can take pretty much any phone with most types of cases fitted within reason, the adjustable arm and 360 degree ball joint allows for very versatile mounting options and viewing angles. The adjustable lower supports allow for a charging cable to be used while in the mount and support the device adequately. The clamp is easy to close onto the phone and one button release allows for easy removal when done with it. The build quality and finish is very good and would look good in any vehicle, function and form both work very well and I’d happily mount this in any vehicle I own.
