It’s a necessary for bald people. It’s bald people makeup , it’s useful and helpful, looks ten times younger when I have enough hair, but it’s not that easy to wash off’… but anyway, it’s super helpful
I purchased these for my son as he’s in the early stages of MPB on the crown. I’d read good reviews on other sites. They are fantastic. The colour is perfect for him and it totally fills in the areas he needs for now. He says it stays in all night and really only comes out when washed. Not sure it works so well for receding hairlines. I bought the pump dispenser with it too which is a must for even distribution.
Been struggling for a while with thinning hair! Someone recommended this product and I was sceptical, but it is fantastic. I have to keep looking in the mirror because I cant quite believe the results. I would say to anyone with this problem to give it a go. Mind you not been out in the rain yet!!!
I didn’t like the sweetness of it, but it was good value for money.
1.People are crazy ! – I allowed my pal to try this on his head – he had it on his nose , shirt , forehead and everywhere – with great big lump on the top of the head. – front hairline looked like this one of Mickey Mouse.
So please take negative reviews with a bit of …… . 😀
2. Product works as it should , but you will need a little practice to gain skill – first time may look bad , but as you go 2nd, 3rd times will look like in an advertisement.
3.Key thing is to work your front hairline – you can easily make it look bad and to be honest Toppik stencil can make it look even worse ….. I used just 1 brush to destroy sharp lines ( its literally a 2 seconds job, and with bit of practice now I can do it without aid.
4.It holds FOREVER – rain , wind, cycling (in helmet ) , running , sweating – all GOOD ! Just use locking spray – its a must to have one.
5.You will need “some” hair as a base – it won’t work on shiny bald skin – only create an effect of ash dipped head 🙂 So its not to use when u bald, but with thin hair. Those fibres attach to hair not skin!

I decided to buy the tester of this , and got my girlfriend to apply it . I really didn’t think it would work , I was so sceptical.
However , it’s truly been amazing and it’s like magic . I now have the appearance of a full head of hair , it’s incredible and my confidence has came back ! Seriously works ! Was so lucky the dark brown matched my hair .
Whoever reads this who is conscious of a thinning crown area , just give it a try , and you’ll be pleasantly surprised ! Game changer !
This has been life changing. As a lady with thin hair on top and under 40 it makes you really paranoid. Just sprinkled this magic in my crown area and suddenly my white scalp has gone!! Wish I’d discovered this years ago!
brought this as i was thinning in certain areas and i am so impressed with the results, after applying the product it makes my hair look thinker and hides the thinning areas. Additionally it is so simple to use and goes a long way even if you use it on a daily basis, i would highly recommend this product!
The fibers are very fine but it doesn’t stain my pillow . I use it so much that I am afraid I might run out so I ordered another one for backup just in case . I’ve been using it for a year now , I will still continue to use and recommend it to anyone who has the same problem as me .
I wax my hair and then apply the fibers afterwards. Works a treat.

Wouldn’t use this product everyday. As the mess it can create is a bit too much hassle to clean for me.
However I did use it for my wedding day and it worked wonderfully. I felt more confident but didn’t create too much of a difference that everyone was asking me questions.
When the thinning started, I felt sick at the thought of going out. My scalp was clearly visible through my hair and I was convinced everyone was looking at it.
These fibres fill the thin gaps and mean that no scalp is visible, meaning I am much more confident to go out.
You only need a thin layer, anything more and it can get messy, fall out of place or clump in patches rather than provide all over coverage of the area.
Been using it now for nearly and year and wouldn’t be without it!
This was a christmas present for my dad and unfortunately my dog ate it when it was wrapped up just before my dad could open it it did a good job of making the floor hairy but not my dads head but it did arrive promtly looooool
Decent product does a good job covering thining roots which is the issue I have. However, do find it expensive for what it is.
On the container it says you can just style your hair normally after applying, but as I normally use that VO5 paste/gel type stuff I did notice a lot of the fibres seemed to get stuck to my fingers, however it didn’t seem to make any difference to the overall appearance. I finished it off with a quick spray of hairspray and Bob was my uncle, Fanny was my aunt. I was ready to moonwalk into the club and wow the ladies with my normal looking head of hair. “Look how normal my hair looks now” I felt like shouting. “I’m not bald. You’re bald”.
My rating is for the product, not the brand. There are cheaper ways to find the same product. This is a good product for people whose hair is thinning. It will not bring back receding hair and will look stupid if you try it. I have thinning hair on the front of my head, especially in summer and this really does make it look thicker. It takes a little bit of practice to learn not to coat your forehead with it. Put it on by separating your hair with a comb then comb through. It attaches to the scalp and colours it giving the appearance of thicker coverage. Then style to fix your hair in place. I always use spray so I believe that the spray also keeps the fibres attached to the scalp, I’ve no idea if without the spray they would unattach during a windy day or in the rain. I went on a waterslide and got really wet (without submerging my head) and the fibers did not move. Yet it comes off really easily washing hair normally in the shower. There must be a permanent alternative to putting this on every day such as tattooing which I am now going to investigate. I’m very happy with the product and I’m going to buy the cheaper alternatives next time. My advice would be to instantly go for the cheaper alternatives such as the refil packs and fill an old talcom powder tube. Very much cheaper than this.
I first tried Toppik around six or seven months ago. I can truthfully say I would financially be a lot better off if I knew about Toppik two years ago.
I use it after I have blown dry my hair. I put the fibres on at the wrong side, pat it on and finish styling my hair with the dryer set at lowest speed and heat in the right direction.
I have read others find it makes a mess, I haven,t experienced that. I use it every second day. I have just finished my first 50g light brown one and had a new one delivered yesterday.
Others have said they do not know how much is left, I found this surprising as you can screw it open at the top. It lasts for ages.
I have also read you can see hair thinning in photographs “not in my experience” and it comes off in rain and wind, again, not in my experience.
I cannot recommend this highly enough. Purchase a shade lighter, I guarantee you will think of this review and wish you had made your purchase much sooner.
I have for the past 5 years had thinning hair on top, particularly at the front. I have dark hair and I hated being in social situations where lights were shining down on my head exaggerating the thinning. I always loved my thick head of hair and I found the thinning really knocked my confidence. Eventually I decided to try this out and was totally amazed at how well it works. It thickens the hair (particularly at the roots) and hides the thinning even under dreaded strong direct overhead light viewed at close distance. Its the next best thing to having my old head of hair back – you just can’t tell I’m using anything.
It works by thickening the existing hair and darkening the scalp. It is best applied by parting at the roots in several places with light sprinkling and building up from there. Care must be taken to avoid clumping at the hairline. It takes only a little practice to most effectively apply this.
It even lasts for days in between hair washes, so I use very little. Be warned though, any excess does come off on pillows!
I cant think of a cheaper more effective way to hide the thinning. I now have my confidence back! Highly recommended!
It can look a little like a stain on your head too if you buy the wrong shade. I bought the dark brown when really should have tried the medium. However, there is no doubt is gives the impression of thicker hair as it cleverly conceals shiny scalp areas that reflect light normally. Give it a go, but use it more for special occasions. I recommend 2 mirrors if applying to the back of your head and if possible ask a partner or friend to do bald patches as can be tricky if not applied just right. You don’t want to have a coloured stain and a little bit of bald patch showing just near that as it can ruin the illusion. Overall worth a go and a cheap alternative to hair transplants. A good confidence booster.
I wish I had found this product ages ago and… it’s a lot cheaper than other brands. When people unfortunately find themselves in need of this type of product as alternative methods (transplant) is simply NOT an option financially. I think that some companies take advantage of the ‘disadvantage’ of those people. I’m pleased to say that at this price Toppik does not !! So in the words of Arnie ” I’ll be back”….again and again ! Thank you.
However since putting Toppik on this very thin hair I don’t look to be receding much at all. It has completely covered up where I’m thinning and it looks exactly like hair. I keep checking my hair during the day as I’ve developed a real complex about my hairline, and even when I look in the mirror up close I cannot see the difference between the fibres and my actual hair. It has stayed in all day too and I have had no issue with the colour running despite the temperature this past week being very high.
In summary I am very happy with this product and have got a lot of my confidence back! 🙂
As I’m getting married in a couple of months I figured it was worth giving it a go as my bald patches do make me feel ugly and blow me down it works a treat!

I have tried several variants of hair fibres. I assure you they are not the same. Toppik is the best that I have found. I can put it on, put mouse on top, style my hair and I am good to go. Other types disintegrate into speckled brown lumps the moment the mouse touches them. Stick with Toppik, although get your colour right. I am medium brown, not dark brown.
If like myself you have male pattern baldness or just thinning hair short of a hair transplant this is the best thong on the market. I bought this as a trial as I was scheptical that this would work.but have just placed a second order. After receiving my first order of Toppik I styled my hair as normal applied the product and hey presto I was 19 again – well not really but I had a much fuller looking head of hair.
This product is cheap lasts a long time and produces great results. I would recommend this without hesitation.
I love Toppik, it has given me so much confidence socially and i dont see my hair thinning problem as a problem now that i have my Toppik. It looks great after you use it and you dont even notice it. Now, i cant live without it:-) And, for the price, its well and truly worth it. Now i no longer feel down about my problem because toppik solves it and boosts my confidence:-)

Ideal size for travel. If small areas of hairloss are needed to be covered this size lasts for longer than you expect. The product itself is very good. It gives good coverage that lasts comfortably throughout the day.
