You just plug your computers and peripheral devices in. I like the remote button. It makes it easy to switch between the systems while the switch (and the wiring) is tucked out of the way. If it fits your use case, I cannot think of a good reason why you would not want this. These types of gizmos can have lots of options, so be sure to read the descriptions carefully to be sure that it has the ports and features that you need for your situation.
I really like this UGREEN KVM switch. I’ve had a few KWM switches in the past and this one works just as well as any I’ve tried. My only complaint is that the USB ports are only 2.0 and not 3.0. I have a few devices that only work with a 3.0 port and had to get a little creative to share them between 2 devices. I’m using this KVM switch in conjunction with a 3.0 USB dock connected to a PC and a Mac. Everything works as expected and once I set up a separate 3.0 dock, I had no trouble. This is a great value and a solid find for a nicely built KVM switch.
Nice simple KVM switch. Love the addition of a separate button that allows you to switch between devices. See so many that you need to get to the device itself to switch over. This gives you the ability to get all of the cables off the desk and hidden away under the desk in the cable tidy like I have.
Not tested this with 4k but 1080p works exactly as it should.
Comes with all of the cable you need to get up and running.
Took about the grand total of 5 mins to get everything going.

I have not used this for anything that requires a high FPS or anything intensely video related, however from what I can tell it is working perfectly. My home PC is displaying at 4k on my 4k monitor, and my work laptop is displaying at the highest resolution it can support. Switching is very speedy, and my Logitech unified receiver is working perfectly for both my mouse & keyboard. The only thing that I wish it did differently is for the inactive computer to not see the monitor at all. This would allow the laptop to function as a single display rather than having a second screen that I cannot see. But for the price, this box is working wonderfully so far (<48 hours in use as of writing)
A bit on the pricey side but it does the job, no issues. Good connection and no interruptions.
This product was super easy to setup and it is performing as I had hoped.
Working from home and having a personal system as well, this is letting me swap monitor, web-cam, printer, keyboard and mouse, all at the press of a button from my home system to my work laptop.
Useful device to have your mouse, keyboard, and monitor switch between two different computers. The only problem I’ve had is that the device sometimes doesn’t register input from my mouse for a few seconds usually every 10 minutes or so. My mouse still receives power but input isn’t registered; haven’t been able to fix this issue. If not for that issue I would’ve given this product 5 stars.
hat was exactly what i was looking for especially the little remote controller sooooo nice and well designed, overal solid 5 star and i absolutely recommend if you need such product. I hide the controller under the desk it is just awesome , thanks
The built quality is good. It is small in size and lightweight so portable. Worked plug & play and operating it was simple and straightforward. I prefer it over the standard KVM switches as it works with HDMI and has far less cabling hassle. Apparently seems durable to last longer.
It solved my problem of connecting 2 PCs with a single monitor, and also share 4 USB ports. It has a desktop control and button on top of module to switch between computers.
Arrived well-packaged. The price is reasonable in my opinion.
Overall, happy to own it and will recommend.
Using this on my desk at work. I have one large monitor, a desktop PC and a MacBook Air. With this I can switch quite happily between the two, Using the button on the unit or the one on the provided extension.
Simple to use and set up. One keyboard and mouse works for both PC and MacBook, although there is sometimes a slight delay when switching before the keyboard/mouse work.
Functional, good price, works well. Typical UGreen quality.
I tested it hoping to use the 2 into 1 HDMI interface. Duncurin has an old DVD HD Recorder and on this are recorded some of my favourite films. Sadly this went on the blink early December and as we still have a lot of DVD films and home movies I bought a similar box on Amazon. As soon as this arrived the old box suddenly burst into life again. I was then left with the dilemma of how to connect both boxes to the single remaining HDMI port on the telly without swapping wires round. I thought this box would accomplish this but I was unable to get it to perform this function and I suspect its main intended use is for that of a computer with numerous peripherals that need connecting and not to switch between HDMI ports on a telly.
This is a very niche item but it does have its uses, in my case, I can use the same keyboard and mouse for both my regular pc and my mining rig, it is USB 2.0 but I don’t see this as a problem as keyboard and mouses do not even use all the bandwidth of USB 2.0 so would never need USB 3.0, well made and so far zero issues it’s all plug and play.
This hdmi connector is easy to set up and connect everything together.
This kit is really useful for me and my recording set up, it allows me to connect multiple consoles through my recording set up and switch between them easily without as much has hassle.
This splitter comes with the cables so no added expense having to find leads that are capable of being compatable. The slpitter is handy for going to one area im working on to another very easily. Cant say much else becasue all the info i would say is detailed on the page anyway and its accurate for me.
The HDMI splitter has been very easy to use with my only issue being that it feels like some of the switches are unnecessary, but that’s just for my personal use. I haven’t investigated into why they would be used so I can’t speak on that. The HDMI ports are all still working and it’s very user friendly to setup with everything being labeled.
