I really liked the concept of this car charger. It allows us to use the ciggerate lighter even after installing it. The charger is pretty fast with two USB As and a CType. The display also provides info of the watts discharged.
This cigarette port adaptor is very nicely made. Very convenient and easy to use. Good value overall and works well.
Charges all I need at speed I need and most importantly, it fits perfectly!
This does the job as a car charger, charging a phone or tablet while in the move with no real issues.
Fits easily into the socket, though it is a bit large so does protrude quite a bit. Not enough to cause any issues to the driver, but just worth noting.
I honestly have no idea what the digital numbers are supposed to be for, or what I’m supposed to do with the information it’s giving me so if you’re not very tech-minded it’s a bit pointless!
So this little unit works well, and because it’s not very big, it doesn’t get in the way of other items which is a real bonus in my mind.
This adds a bunch of added functionality to the car, when we go somewhere, because I(we) can now put the kids electronics on to charge, and with the high capacity, fast charging rate, it takes us no time to be able to top up any devices, keeping the backseat little ones happy, and they don’t get bored as easily.
I’ve even utilised a 2m iPhone cable so they can play on it and when it gets low on power, they can carry on playing with the cable plugged in, but the best bit with this, is that my Sat Nav can still plug into the cigarette plug, and our phones can also be charging. So this gives us the ability to do more, and faster.
Very useful.
Very handy quick charging car charger for usb-c and standard USB gadgets. You can charge most things with this without any issues and 3 items at the same time which is handy when your camping in the summer or on day trips.
I’m not convinced on the accuracy of the voltage display, however it will give you a rough idea so you can keep an eye on it during the winter especially.
I’m very pleased with this to be honest as I can use this with my leisure batteries for phones, tablets etc in the summer when camping. Good item.
I’m really impressed with this charger, having an in car charger that can kick out so much power through all the ports at the same time is impressive. The build quality is good, it feels and looks a solid device.
Overall I really can’t fault this charger, highly recommended.
Handy Splitter suitable for my Dashcam and with additional type C + USB charging ports. Good Design and value for money
Excellent charger and does a great job.
I used to have issue with the phone charger being slow but this one has resolved it as this can make the dashcam work at the same time providing fast charge for the phone as it has usb+ usb C ports. Very happy. A bit expensive but does the job well.
Have used this for 3 weeks now. It charges really well and fast.
When it’s fully charged it stops showing the green so you might think it’s not working but it is.
This is useful to plug in a dashcam and still have the ability to charge your devices at rapid speeds. It is quite bulky so may not be practical for everyone as the handbrake might get in the way or something else.
It’s is useful and practical but is pricey.
This car charger came securely packaged in a cardboard box which also included an information sheet. There are no cables supplied.
It was easy to fit in the car as it has got a flexible neck, but this shape might not fit all makes of cars.
It has 3 ports but also a cigarette lighter port which is very useful if you got any equipment in the car needing such a port. I use it for my trailer camera.
Good charger. It looks and feels relatively good quality. It’s really handy how it has a voltage display on the charger as it helps prevent dropping your car battery too low. It’s capable of charging 3 devices at one time as well as a 12v adapter you can use to charge or power devices. We have tested it on the power meter. The type c we have only managed to get a maximum of 20 Watts output however it states it will do 60 Watts. The usbs will fast charge phones, maximum of 19 Watts output on the fast charge usbs. However when we have plugged in the Nintendo switch it won’t fast charge, simply a trickle charge no matter whether its in the usbs or type c port so it doesn’t seem to give as much as it claims however it does still work. It’s quite a big bulky charger too which can be a little annoying in a small car. It’s OK however I personally wouldn’t recommend as I feel you can get better for the money.
Neat and useful solution for dashcams, wireless chargers and other accessories. The position of the USB-A ports can prove problematic, as many cars have recessed 12V sockets; for example in the Mazda CX-60 the unit has to be put in upside-down which makes the voltage readout annoying. There is some adjustment for angle, but it’s not really enough for such layouts.
For my PT Cruiser it’s a really handy gadget, allowing USB-C power for navigation, USB-A or 12V power for the dashcam and also having enough capacity for a wireless reversing camera screen.
The voltage readout is particularly welcome in winter for keeping an eye on charging and accessory performance – when a cold start, heated seats, lights and fans can put a serious load on the electrical system. The display is not too bright at night and it’s easy to read at a glance.
Build quality seems good, including a rubberised collar for easy grip, which covers the hinged portion of the adaptors, and it sits well in the 12V socket without random disconnection issues even on bumps. It has enough capacity to cope with a MagSafe charger, too.
A great gadget, but watch that your 12V socket has enough room around it to fit your application.
The charger is very handy as it has one PD3.0 USB C type and 2 QC3.0 USB Types and a place for the cigarette lighter.
Is very easy to use and the led screen shows how much output gives for charging the phones. Its a convenient as I don’t need to remove the charger every time I need to use the Cigaret light socket for my purpose,
In my opinion, the device is charging the phones very quickly and the price at the time of my review was 17.99 which I believe is a bit expensive but does the job.
I hope my review and pictures can help you decide.
This USB C car charger/adapter arrived in a little box with user guide.
It looks and feels well made from a decent quality plastic.
I like its design with easy to read digital display.
This car cigarette lighter splitter is very practical and works well.
I needed this splitter as my car camera is connected to the cigarette lighter, with the splitter I can use camera and charge my mobile phone at the same time.
Charger works well and charged my android phone – Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra quite fast.
Efficient, well designed, practical and reasonably priced, so I would happily recommend it.
I tried this in my Kona EV and as you can see its rather awkward to put in the kona due to the placement of the car charge port as you can see , I tried both a Huawei P smart and a oppop x 5 lite and both charged at super / hyper speeds using the protocols this thing has , Its the only charger i have found that actually works to charge at the phones max speed so 10/10 for that ,Def recommend for fast charging in a car.
Can say its a good adapter for car.
Quite easu to use it. Have cigarette lighter splitter and 2 usb exits.
Charging phone quaite fast.
For that price definetly worth to buy it.
Higly recommending to all.
I got this car charger for my old car. I had another one but it charged really slowly compared to this one.
Good kit in the car, looks like it made from durable material. Usb ports and charging option.
I got this as I normally have a dash cam in and can’t put anything else on
This was perfect I can also charge my phone at the same now as it has USB ports on the side
This is a useful thing to have, as it can indicate the state of charge of your car battery, a not minor reason for getting this, as my car spends a lot of time parked in the street going nowhere, so I need to know if it will start when I need it, or it needs a top up charge.
I also needed a fast charger that runs off the car battery, so I tried it out on my Xiaomi phone and the little C slot works fine with the “C to C” fast-charge cable. (it also dropped the voltage on my car battery by 0.9v, when charging. Hopefully I will be using this with the engine running in the future!)
This seems well-made with the top flexing a few degrees so you can incline it whichever way is convenient in use. It also has a thru-port, so you can still plug in other lighter-type hardware like a satnav, while you charge a phone or two, most useful in my car as the port is between the front seats so it would be accessible for backseat passengers too.
Charges very quickly, is a little big but does the job well
Charges fast and blue glow color isn’t distracting. Only issue I have is it doesn’t stay in accessory port securely. If it had a rubber traction strip it would be awesome.
I have wanted a pass through 12v cigarette charger for a while now. I have a dash cam in my vehicle with takes up the cigarette socket, so in order to charge my phone i need to unplug the dash cam which isn’t ideal. This little gadget solves that issue allowing me to still have the dash cam plugged in and my phone at the same time!
It’s a fairly chunky device, however this is too be expected noting the pass through 12v C socket.
Port wise this has USB C PD 20w charger, which allows my phone to fast charge, and 2 USB A sockets supporting QC 3.0 up to 66w.
One thing i really did like about this device is that it shows me the car battery voltage, it’s a nice clear display which is easy to read in daylight as well as in the evenings.
So what not 5 stars? It wasn’t a great fit in my vehicle, it was loose within the cars 12v C socket, however it did not loose power despite being able to move it around when plugged in.
Great little device – just wish the fit was a little snugger!
I hope that you found my review helpful.
I liked the option of connecting via USB or usb-c. I had a fast charging usb-c cable that I could use with this car charger. This car charger doesn’t come with any cables, I think at least one basic cable should be provided.
The car charger was easy to insert into the hole in the car. However, as you can see in the first picture, because of the design of the charger, we are unable to use the two usb ports. There is not enough of a gap for the cable. This is a major flaw. I don’t think all cars would have this issue but we drive a mazda 6.
Next, using my fast cable, I wasgetting about 14kw, which is much lower than I expected. However, it is the fastest car charger I’ve ever owned. It charged 12% in 9 minutes or so, which I think is very fast. So I still would recommend this, even with the design flaw ( as I don’t think it would apply to all cars).
Good and flexible charger which you can tilt in to position of the need.
It has 2 usb ports , cigarette lighter port , and a pd charging port .
Has a nice w current display .
Excellent produc
Lovely looking cigarette adaptor. Includes 2 USB outputs and a voltmeter showing battery status. Nice to look at too. Np negatives.
This is a powerful car charger which easily charges up my laptop using the 66W USB-A port, for my phone the USB-C port offers 20W output regardless of wherever or not I’m charging up my laptop. I also like that the 12V socket is still available which has its uses, this is a good piece of tech for my car and I’m happy to recommend it.
It’s a bulky charger so may not to be everyone’s taste, as my 12V socket in the car is located in the base of the console, hidden away, then this charger is ideal. It does have a battery level readout which is of no use to me and would’ve liked the USB-A ports positioned where this display is at present. The manufacturer states this is a 166W charger, that does sound a lot but in all reality it certainly just is that. The built in pass-thru 12V socket provides 80W of power, this leaves 20W for the USB-C port and 66W for the two USB-A ports to share, in fact the ‘orange’ USB-A port can offer 66W on its own if you don’t use the port next to it.
Many of the charging protocols are incorporated into this charger such as PD 3.0, QC 3.0, SCP, FCP, PPS, AFC etc.
Built in short circuit and over charge, current, heat and voltage means the device will disconnect power to ensure any attached devices are kept safe.
Overall, a cool bit of tech at 17.99, well worth the money.
Happy to recommend.
Great Solid Product not only allowing my to connect 2 USB devices and 1 USB C but continue to have my Dash Cam plugged it too. Solid feel to this device and robust.
