Does the job mostly if it works! Not good for high pile rugs, like the plush ones. Mine started to leak from behind after 2 usages and and it started tripping my fuse box several times. To bad, almost a good product.

Ok it’s very good. Its just a very good dose exactly what is says. Deep clea6at it’s best.

I have taken on a couple of rescue hounds who’ve spent their lives in kennels so house training is a work in progress and this machine has been a god send. Accidents are becoming far fewer now so hopefully soon it won’t be needed so much. This is a precautionary tale, if you are thinking of rehoming a retired greyhound it may not plain sailing but it’s not their fault!!

I bought this as with we have a rather energetic 8 month old dog that likes to get himself in all colours of dirt.
I was warned not to buy Vax as they’re not very good, but for my budget and the required functionality this model seemed like the best option.
Fairly easy to assemble, I have only given it a very quick test on this rug and I’m impressed with the cleaning power and suction to remove excess water. What a difference already! Recommended!

I bought this on Black Friday because I’d borrowed a family member’s machine enough times to think I ought to get my own! Theirs is the big Vax Platinum with Auto-Mix tanks. I knew this one didn’t have that feature but could take a few minutes to measure out the solution myself for the price difference.

This certainly holds its own against the Platinum when it comes to cleaning carpets and even outweighs it in some aspects. It’s much lighter which makes taking it up and down the stairs less of an extreme sport, and although it’s still loud to use it doesn’t leave my ears ringing when I switch it off. The smaller size makes it easier to store too.

The tank capacity is very good, giving me 2 bedroom carpets and dog bed cleaned at Max capacity without having to refill, and it pulls a decent amount of water back out of the carpets.

I didn’t use the pre-treatment tool, but it loses a star for the handheld tool. It took 3 or 4 attempts before it dispensed the solution with it, and the solution has pooled in the port area when I disconnected everything to store. I’m not sure if the problem was the hose hadn’t locked in properly (I think it had – I could see the solution in the tube, it just wasn’t fully pulling through) or that the top tank had become slightly out place. I’d checked the valve per the troubleshooting guide and all was fine. Eventually it worked after pulling everything out and reconnecting it a few times. I’m not sure what the fix was. So it loses a star in anticipation of my next fight with it when I come to wash the stairs! The Platinum machine wins here as it’s only the 1 connection vs 2 on this one.

Another niggle is that the clean water tank isn’t shaped to allow all of the solution to fully drain, so you get a fair bit still stuck in the tank.

All things considered this is a great machine, and will quickly make its money back against the cost of renting one out. It uses less solution than the Auto-Mix one too, so an even bigger saving! Definitely recommended for pet homes.

Bought this as my 12 year olds carpet was an absolute disgrace – done what I needed it to do.

Let’s face it; that carpet was never going to come up looking brand new or without a mark! We are planning to add hard flooring to avoid this scenario again but if it can tackle this carpet and go from the before to the after, I am looking forward to trying on the rest of the carpets throughout the house, which aren’t even a fraction as bad as this!!!

I got this today and tried it out, to behonest its not too bad, I definitely got what I paid for. It did the job but took quite a while to get out stains. The solution that came with it was very good. It definitely took away the dog smell that was embedded in my carpet. Definitely need bigger water and waste compartment thought as they empty and fill quite quickly, had to empty and refill quite a few times due to the compartments being on the small side. But overall it is a pretty good machine for the price. Don’t regret this purchase but would have bought a bigger more expensive one if I could have afforded it.

This product is worth every penny I paid (120), it arrived packaged well with a handy carry bag for the accompanying accessories. I have a small dog and whilst this carpet cleaner does market it towards homes with pets, it definitely would be suited anywhere with the intention of it being used to freshen your carpets when ever you’d like.

I had looked at past reviews for this specific product and did some searching and spotted unboxing and product reviews on YouTube, many had said there were problems with sound(being too loud), suction, smaller containers for clear and waste water and shorting of electricity breaker. –

– Yes it is loud but it’s just slightly higher than my Henry hoover, this wasn’t something I was put off by at all.

– It cleaned my bedroom carpets well and suction provided enough removal of water content to allow natural air drying. (Warm air from central heating and a de humidifier works well here – or just keep a window cracked open a few inches to allow the moisture to cycle out)

– The volume for the waste water container is less than I’d have liked but the regular emptying means that I can see when the water is becoming clearer to the extent that the carpets are as clean they can be.

– I found cleaning to be easier than others had made out in reviews, wash the inside of the containers with warm soapy water and let them air dry. Unplug the cleaner and rinse the plastic cover and rollers with a shower hose to remove any residual dirt build up. Not a task I found to be at all difficult.

– If you consider buying this for grubby carpets, the added bonus of the hose attachment means you can get into the tougher stains and stubborn material, this was definitely a handy addition.

After cleaning a 2nd floor landing and bedroom carpet I must say I am VERY pleased. The carpet in the bedroom had not been cleaned in 10 years, despite having a rather clean home I always wanted to replace them but dealing with the expense was daunting – luckily – this carpet cleaner saved the day and some money, for now anyway.

If you’re looking for a budget friendly carpet cleaner and you like to see a positive result when cleaning the carpet I’d advise this product. There are definitely improvements that could be made to this model but for now I’m very happy. Long may it continue to function!
