A quick delivery, good packaging, easy to erect once we got the hang of it, not that easy with two people on grass! Good quality and value.
Nice gazebo, sturdy and so easy to put up and down.
Ordered this yesterday, arrived this morning. Excellent delivery. It arrived in a strong cardboard box. Put it up this afternoon (on dry grass in late February!), just to make sure that everything was OK and that there were no missing parts. Everything was as it should be. You do need two people to put it up. The wheels were there but needed screwing into the bracket on the bag. You will need two small spanners or one adjustable for this as they are not supplied. All the side panels were supplied as promised. It looks quite strong overall. See how it goes, but so far, so good.
When were let down by a marquee installer because of bad weather forecasts in January I bought this double gazebo in replacement. Although there was a delay in delivery, it arrived for the event and erected the same day. I was quite impressed by the ease with which it could be erected with the help of two others and seemed sturdy and well made. I would say the only fault was not having an air vent in the canopy itself as this is a useful feature when windy. Wind there was over 3 consecutive nights and the gazebo stood its ground until finally on the last night before we were due to take it down, it blew away and ended up a mangled pile at the bottom of our field. Entirely our fault for not taking it down earlier but it did the job for what I bought it for. I would buy it again if needed but for now I’ll probably replace it with a single frame
Great quality stood up to some howling winds although we did reduce the height of it, the brilliant thing is that this is a feature of this gazebo. We use it for our spa and have spent time in there rain and cold, provides excellent cover.
I use this once a month for a market stall. One of the catches was faulty one the first one I got but the problem was sorted out really easily and I was sent a replacement. So far the gazebo has worked well over the summer months but I can’t comment yet on how well it will cope in the rain and wind. It looks smart and I can manage to put it up on my own – just!
Really impressed with the sturdiness of the frame and quality of walls and top.
Only a couple of gripes in that that the side walls are quite baggy once on (no where near as tight fitting as the picture suggests.)
Also the wheels on the storage bag could do with a guard or something as the bag itself sags and rubs against them when pulling it along. It resulted in rubbing hole through the bag after just one use.
Have resorted to wrapping a bungee cord around the bag to keep it away from the wheels so would advise anyone else does the same.
Product is awesome however had one screw missing from a joint, we needed the gazebo next day so didn’t complain just put a screw in.
So attention to detail could be better so given four stars not five.
Not test for being waterproof.
Very good and sturdy products the quality is also amazing just need a bit of patience to put it up together. Value for the money i have use it a few times for events and so far so good.
Easy to assemble. We’ve had a few of these pop up gazebos and this is certainly the best one yet. Great quality material and some super useful new velcro ideas. The carry case is actually usable too and the wheels are a bonus!
Perfect price for some1 starting out on outdoor markets; I’m in love with mine; my only criticism is that the side walls don’t fit back in the bag easily. Easy to assemble with one 5ft2 person, so very pleased with i
We used this gazebo at a recent event and it didn’t disappoint on quality. Really easy to set up, very sturdy and kept us dry in what was a very wet day.
This is a really well-made gazebo! It is much better quality than my previous one! Very sturdy indeed, and very much worth the money! It’s taken a battering in all weathers including the latest 42`This is currently being used as a decanting area, while we remodel our kitchen. This is the only way we could store our free-standing kitchen furniture- now it’s safely tucked away, on pallets undercover. Erecting the gazebo was a little tricky simply because we were tired when we were doing it. Now we know what’s what, it is simple enough, although, I think it’s a two-man job. You certainly won’t be disappointed.
Bought this Gazebo for a work show, great quality for the money. We bought the 3 x 3 meter version in black. The unit was nicely packed and easy to erect. Looking at the frame finish it looks like a hard wearing coating. My only criticism was it would of been nice in black or dark grey and not white But that is only aesthetic.
I’ve given the gazebo a five star rating for water resistance but not had chance to test it in the rain yet. That said the canvas top looks of a good quality and should last.
After a trial run, taking our time (about 45min) to erect this is a high quality gazebo and very sturdy.
Once you have put it up and down a couple of times you learn how speedbup the process.
1 negative, it would be nice to have been able to keep the roof and sides when folding it down and it fitted into the bag that way, but you need to completely stop it down to fit back in the bag, we were using it at a football tournament so for ease we kept the roof and sides on to save having to build it every day, but we simple folded it down and carried it as opposed to staying to squeeze it into the wheeled holder.
Another point to mention so buyers are aware it’s a 2 man lift when it’s in its bag due to weigh, however if you want a good quality gazebo this is to be expected.
Would definitely recommend.
This is brilliant, had it permanently set up for 7 months on my job so I can cut stone out of the elements . Very water proof and also great working under it in the heat wave( nice and shady) Fairly easy to set up . I set this up on my own no problem, took me about 15mins.
It took myself and my wife about 20 minutes to put the shelter up, initially my wife thought that it was far to big, after one full day of summer rain she now thinks that it is fantastic and is not too big at allthere are easy step by step videos on YouTube to follow just type in ABC Canopy setup, overall it is a great shelter for the money, the frame is very sturdy and well engineered, it can be screwed down to a deck or patio for further security, it will also need secured by bungee or guy ropes at the four corners to achieve good wind resilience in any weather conditions ie put it up and leave it up, the roof canopy is made of a much more resilient material than the sides, the roof system definitely beads the rain on the outside and does not drip through even during very heavy and prolonged showers, the roof is quite highly pitched which I believe aids the water run off I suspect in time this level of rain repellency may need to be topped up with a suitable spray on product which is to be expected as nothing lasts forever, the sides of the canopy are functional but I would like to upgrade them in time to a heavier more resilient material to withstand the wind to a better degree, it’s not that they are not weather or rain resistant but more that if they where made of heavier grade material and engineered in such a way to be able to be tied or weighted down to the floor or deck and guy roped if necessary would be just excellent to provide an even more solid & secure structure, the provided sides are still very much usable and functional all the same, the shelter comes in a handy large wheeled bag which is great for transporting the shelter or even getting it into position in your garden etc, we went for the 6m x 3m version, it is a rather large shelter and we use it to cover our decked area outside our back door & patio doors, it definitely provides great all round use as a shelter from the unpredictability of the rain in Northern Ireland (the North of Ireland) people from this part of the world will understand what this means ie it’s nice to be able to step outside your back door and not get instantly soaked by the heavy rain when you are putting your work boots on or off or football boots, mountain biking etc, it also then doubles up as somewhere to take your lunch, diner or have a barbecue outside in the rain or have a cup of tea in the rain take a beer or glass of wine in the evening or even dry clothes when it’s raining during the day lol
we love the very useable sheltered outdoor space that it has created for us outside of our home, it is a very relaxing chilled out space for everyone in the family we love even sitting outside at night listening to the rain pitter pattering off the roof!
hopefully it will continue to serve us well now and in the future if you want a shelter to give you a large usable outdoor space during the wet summers months then I would recommend this one.
L.T.
Was straight forward to put up with another person, I would struggle a bit on my own but not impossible. Being first time of use it’s all a new task. Am very pleased with the gazebo, feel it’s good value for money.
I used it for the first time yesterday and it was so easy to put up. The weather forecast was fine but all of a sudden the heavens open and there was an almighty downpour with wind. I’d not anchored the gazebo so was a bit worried but it did not budge or leak. Putting it down at the end of the night was so easy and was really easy to put it back in the back. By far the best gazebo I’ve ever had.
I ordered this so that I would be able to use a projector in the sunshine and be able to see the screen. The gazebo is brilliant for this and just to use as cover. I was highly impressed with how easy it was to set up, and how sturdy it is. We set it up over the bank holiday weekend for a garden party and was able to leave it for a few nights with confidence. Would highly recommend!
I have looked at a few gazebos and most are 2m or 3m. Admittedly this was more expensive than most as well (even on an offer) but now I see why. It does need a bit of a hand getting up, not really a one person job. This is mainly because the frame is quite heavy and a person should really be working on the opposite side to support the raising of the canopy. Now if that’s a negative for you a cheaper and dare I say ‘disposable’ gazebo is where you should be looking.
We live on a brow of a hill and this gazebo is on the edge of a garden exposed overlooking a field. I have filled the supplied leg weights with pea gravel, used the supplied strong guy lines (they could do with a tensioner like for a tent) and the grounding stakes to secure (nice touch the plastic collars to anchor and tie off the lines). I haven’t used an of the sides yet but I am in no doubt they will be a good fit.
My gazebo has been up a few weeks now and I was a little worried (daft really) the 30mph winds would bother it. Nope solid and stable.
I put 4 stars in ‘easy to assemble’ ONLY because it is of such quality it doesn’t have any slack and needs a bit of strength to get the supporting straps in place. So it’s NOT easy to assemble (not that hard either), but having done so I felt this looks solid.
Now when it comes down for the winter, and is put in its bag, or if I need to take it somewhere, I am sure the wheels on the bag will be very useful because it is heavy.
So far any rain and there has been a couple of downpours, has just run off of it. No leaks, no seeps just what you would expect.
So far I am convinced I made the correct choice in spending a little more and getting a good product. It is used as a sun/weather shield for our swing bench (which I built) and works a treat.
I purchased this canopy mainly to use to house a projector screen to watch a projector during the day outside in the summer. The canopy comes in a really well made case that will ensure the canopy is store away safely to avoid any damage.
The canopy itself is already assembled and it is just a matter of putting on the screens and top canopy. The material is very strong and way better than others I have bought.
In the main it was easy to assemble although you do need 2 people to do it.
Once up ypu can tell it is good quality. The aluminium bars are larger than normally canopies and there is very little movement when there is a breeze (also used the pegs provided to keep it stationary)
Overall I am really pleased with this canopy and it will allow me to use the projector during the summer months to watch movies or even love sport.
Well thought out construction. Really easy to put up with two people (or more) but also possible with just one person.
Packs away with the canopy ‘roof’ on with just enough room in the wheeled bag to allow this.
Used only with leg weights so far – though not the ones supplied – and it has stood up to breezy conditions well enough.
Only used in light rain but absolutely waterproof in those conditions. Sides keep wind out but can flap a little when legs not extended to full height, due to surplus material on the ground. Sides do seal well with full height zips on corners and full length Velcro strips along top edge.
Would recommend.
The Gazebo is fantastic,
I put it up it is very sturdy and has a nice high top . The wall pannals are are quite thick so definitely looks and feels premium.
The day after I put it we had heavy rain and gusty wind , which did not effect the Gazebo. A very good product .
To say “easy assembly” is an understatement!
I assembled it with my husband and we are still speaking so that in itself says it all.
It took a good 50-60 minutes to put together with sides up and sand bags attached. We highly recommend
Top tip… make sure you measure the area you want to erect it first! We bought the 3.5m first and had to return it as it was too big for our patio.
So I had a tear in a side panel upon arrival, no issue as things do get damaged in the factory. I sent a message to the seller and they kindly replaced the side panel without any issues. Great customer service and a fantastic gazebo for the garden.
So far it’s helped with the heat and we’re now able to sit in the garden when it’s raining! Fantastic for our wellbeing.
Took me by myself about an hour and a half to erect. Disappointed that for the price, the window pattern is mis-printed and looks cheap – when it was not cheap. Amazon said they could only refund, not partially refund the cost of a new window panel or send a new window panel. Very disappointed, can’t return it as the outdoor lounge needs waterproofing, what if it rains whilst a new one arrives?! I wouldn’t buy this again. It’s also not as waterproof as stated, and mild showers acumalte and seep through the stitching. Also not clear how to push the canopy right up – wasn’t in the instructions
UPDATE 22/09/21: changed from 3* to 4*, after some time, managed to use messaging assistant to speak direct with seller over email who offered two resolutions to the above window panel issue – partial refund or sending a new panel. Fairly responsive responding within 24 hours. I went for partial refund of cost of panel as felt most convenient option for me at this time. So I think there is confidence to be had if you do buy from this seller – that if you have na issue they’ll likely fix it somehow. Reccomend Comms with seller direct, Amazon can’t do much as in their own words it’s dispatched by Amazon so can’t action partial refunds etc, so Comms with seller is best!
Bought this gazebo for our garden to cover our new furniture. Assembly was really easy although ideally needed more than two people to assemble just due to its size and weight (we have the 3 x 3m).
It has been used throughout the summer with some quite indifferent weather conditions with no major issue caused by either wind or rain although the garden is fairly sheltered the gazebo does appear to be very sturdy.
The only issue we have found is that the water pools in one corner of the roof but this may be an issue with the way we have installed the roof however it does look correct and the Velcro fasteners are all in the correct places. It would have a full five stars but for this.
If needed would certainly purchase again.
We bought a grey one to use on our patio to replace an old one with a canvas roof that turned rain into drizzle! We did a lot of research and, although we found the same level of poor reviews as others, we thought the good reviews were generally much more enthusiastic for this one. We made the right choice as we could see that the windows on some others were an obvious weak point and we didn’t need them. Assembly was straightforward for two people. It’s been up for a couple of weeks now without the sides and it has been fine. There’s no drizzle inside now, however hard it rains. The sides are very easy to fit, with continuous velcro across the top and strong zips down the sides. All the material seems to be good quality as does the workmanship. We haven’t used the water bag weights on the legs as we already had the rigid plastic versions that we bought for the old gazebo. They work fine. The storage bag is strong and of good quality. The wheels were easy to fit. It might have been better if the side of the bag had opened rather than the end but that is a very small point. All in all we are delighted and would certainly recommend it.
We were so disappointed to find that only when the Gazebo was fully erected was the faulty roof noticed.
The Gazebo was fairly easy to put together although it took two pensioners over an hour!! Other than finding the fault we were impressed by the structure and quality. In fairness the seller was easy to contact and deal with. Amazon were unable to send the photo of the fault provided on our behalf, however, the seller replaced the canopy very efficiently even without the attached photo. Well done ABCCanopy we would not hesitate to order from them again. Needless to say the water resistance has not been tested yet.
Arrived well packaged with all you need. Two of us managed to get it up within 20 minutes. Structure is solid and well made. The wheeled bag it put the frame in as supplied is a welcome bonus. The only small reservation is the paint coating on the frame is pretty thin. We managed to put some small scratches in it when extending the leg height and they already showing signs of rust. Time will tell how it survives but I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another from the seller. Spares are also available. Overall we are very happy.
Great Gazeebo but was missing a screw shown in photo so had to put one of my own in as a temporary measure. I have tried to find a way to contact the seller but as of yet no idea how to and dont really want to have to send the whole thing back?
After a lot of research I decided to purchase a Gazebo from ABCCanopy because their numerous reviews seemed to be mainly positive.
The tent came in a strong cardboard box and was a lot heavier than I had anticipated. The good news is that it has a really clever storage cover where everything fits in neatly and it has wheels so moving it around is like pushing a parcel trolley.
Erecting the tent is common sense and I managed to do it on my own without instructions in less than ten minutes (will be half that in future). It comes with four sandbags to use as weights to hold the frame down and each corner has loops to attach ropes to tie it down if necessary.
The frame is much stronger than I had anticipated and far better than anything I had seen in my local garden centres.
I’ve had the tent up for two months and it has stood up to some fairly strong winds and heavy rain with no sign of wear, and is 100% waterproof. We have a lot of birds flying over and most poop simply slides off or washes off when it rains but a quick spray with a pressure washer will get any stubborn marks off.
The zipped door panel on my tent had a problem with a few teeth missing from the zip so I contacted the company and without hesitation they agreed to send me a replacement. Fantastic customer service!
If you want a quality product and great customer service I really recommend ABC Canopy.
I rarely feel compelled to write a review but this product is just fantastic. So sturdy, easy to put up and take down. The carry case with wheels… it’s just got everything.
Had a large outdoor gathering with a few friends gazebos and when they’re next to each other you just notice the sheer difference in quality. Particularly how most others have got pretty weak supporting structure. This gazebo though, not the case… so strong, it’s survived some pretty horrific winds which the other gazebos basically collapsed, this one stood strong.
Cannot recommend enough!
It’s easy to assemble and stands up to wind well, works great as a gazebo, the only let down and why it didn’t get 5 stars was the wheels broke off on first use, I don’t mind carrying it but anyone else may not not want to carry this.
Gazebo was perfect for a family gathering/BBQ during the rain. It withstood continuous rain, no leaks. Easy to erect, great quality, plenty of room & very sturdy, as it should be for the price of 199.95!
However, the holdall bag was damaged by the polystyrene packaging which had melted onto the bag in transit or storage (See pictures)
As the gazebo was undamaged, it only warranted a replacement holdall or partial goodwill gesture which Amazon wasn’t prepared to give, due to a third party seller!! But you can not contact the Company as it is clearly overseas. Amazon only offered a full refund if I returned the whole gazebo/package, which I found ridiculous! Care should be taken with the kinds of packaging used, as to not damage any of the items in storage/transit!
I feel let down by Amazon and lack of responsibility, more than the third party seller!
