I’ve been burned by unreliable cables which either break easy or whose picture quality degraded over time. However, this cable has been consistently excellent since I bought it! I have a variety of screens and items which use them so my HDMI cables go through a lot of wear and tear but this one has held up nicely. Plus the length allows for a lot of flexibility with my hardware layout.
This is an amazing HDMI cable, it does exactly what you would like it to do, I currently have several of these one plugged into my lounge TV to enable me to plug my laptop into the large screen and display my laptop on a screen.
The other I have in my home office where it is used 9 to 5 extending the display on my work laptop to a 27 inch screen and then I plug the HDMI cable into my MacBook and use it to watch Sky Go and consume content in the evenings.
This is a good cable that does what it says.
If you’re looking for two HDMI cables that will do the job no questions asked then you’ve found your item. It is cheap and the heads aren’t as pretty as the much more expensive ones but they have not let me down so far and they get regular prolonged use due to working from home and studying online. They’ve got good quality picture and I’ve had no connection issues, no issues with the ends falling out / being stuck in the device and cost a couple of quid. Couldn’t complain if I tried.
Bought these as a replacement to connect my laptop to a screen to work from. Great quality of connection and no issues with it becoming loose as I have had with previous cables/

Bought a new dvd player and knew I needed a cable, this one was recommended and does the job, as a technophobe I found it easy to use, a doddle really, you just plug it in and go, good value and works as you would expec
It took me a few attempts to connect my laptop to my TV, but after a bit of time it connects ok, just need to go to source on your TV , go to HDMI and make sure the cable is connected and away you go.
We ordered this so we could connect our soundbar to the tv. Although we had a cable provided by the sound bar apparently we needed in HDMI so that we could control the sound with the usual tv remote and not the soundbar remote.
At first there were some delays with the sound but after some fiddling to get it onto the right setting this has worked perfectly for us. Just the right length too so not much hanging behind the tv.
I use this cable for my laptop to 4k 60HZ monitor.
If you do decide to purchase this cable just keep in mind the HDMI 2.0 specification which is:
1080p 240Hz
1440p 144Hz
4K 60Hz
If you require a cable that is able to provide higher refresh rates (Hz) like 4K 144Hz then look at some HDMI 2.1 cables instead.

Bought this as I needed a lengthy cable to connect a DVD player bought at the same time. I already have a 5m HDMI cable ( too long and also it is a very expensive one with an annoyingly thick cable ). I had hoped the cable on this one ( being a cheap one ) was thin and flexible ( like say a mouse cable). It is not as thin as I had hoped (about the same as a power cable – but consequently you could say better quality. It does what I bought it for so overall very happy.
With these cables connecting my two 28-inch monitors, it’s like a glorious dance of pixels in HD heaven! My trading charts have never looked so sharp, I could almost see the stock market shaking in its boots!

Amazon’s ‘Basic’ offering does pretty much everything I could want (or hope) for, with the least amount of fuss and at a very good (let’s be honest, it’s hard to beat) price.
I only had an urgent need for one cable, but know full well that I’ll need more HDMI cables in the future (it’s pretty much the ‘go to’ connector for my audio / visual stuff, inc. computer monitors) and the step up in cost from one cable to three hardly made any difference at all.
The first thing I like is ‘the no fuss’ packaging. I don’t have to fight to get into the cables, and they’re also safely packed and wound with a ‘twist tie’. The ends are also protected / capped, but it’s a breeze to get a cable out, unpacked and ready to go.
In this particular setup, I was connecting a (new) 4K Player to a matched TV / Screen.
Now, I’ve no base-line or reference with any other cable available to me, but I’m still impressed (yes, new kit will do that!) and I don’t believe that this cable has in any way limited performance (picture is superb!)
I did try another cable (same set) for audio output and, as expected, everything was spot on there as well.
Can it be improved? Well, there’s room for improvement with just about everything and I’m more limited by space. Personally, It’s be nice to have (option) 90 degree (or angled) connectors, to sit in flush with devices, but that really is me just being picky (and admitting that I like neat cable runs).
Connectors are a nice clean, snug fit and cables are nice and pliable, without feeling flimsy.
Oh, one note is that the lengths are (in my case) absolutely spot on, so there’s no ‘little bit extra’, if you’ve measured things out to be exact. Again, not a compliant, but something to consider (maybe go up a length, if you’re in any way worried about cable runs).
