that said i am delighted as it’s very comfortable, and sturdy, it doesn’t feel flimsy as most do.
you won’t regret choosing it, i pray that you don’t have to deal with hermes / evri.
These chairs are big and very comfortable, wider than a normal garden chair , good price.
** They were delivered by Royal Mail , 2 chairs in one box, so were heavy , don’t think my normal post deliver was too happy about handling the large box.
The first thing I noticed was how much wider than the usual chairs these are. Very easy to unfold and they recline to a near horizontal position too.
Worth the extra cost as far better comfort and quality compared to anything we`ve had previously.
Seems well made and is larger than garden recliners they replaced. Good buy.
For a start it was too heavy for me (an old lady!!) to carry in and out. Too big for my balcony. Folding and extension was nearly impossible for my strength. Didn’t know how to recline. My head was in the middle of the back of the chair when sat right back in the chair.(I am 5ft 3in.). No choice except to return and get my money. Worst news is the price has gone down to half a few days after I bought.
Good value, strong frame very stable,seat fabric seems good quality, should last. Only used it a few times.
I have mobility problems due to a spine disorder and HAVE to be able to recline to not be in pain. There are some great chairs out there that fit the bill BUT come with a hefty price that I can’t stretch to.
I’m almost 21st and this chair is fantastic for me. Super sturdy and I have inches of room either side of me so no bars digging into my legs.
Added bonus of the cushion that sits perfectly to support my neck where I’ve had surgery plus a handy cup holder.
Bought as a pair so they’ll look great for me and my husband too.
For once, NOT dissapointed, love them.
Purchased these chairs towards the end of summer and I only wish I would have gotten them sooner! They are so spacious, comfortable and easy to assemble/ disassemble. 10/10 from us!
Wow. These were wider than I thought they’d be but I wasn’t disappointed. What a chair. Well built and with a quilty type of seating material. Nice to have the headrest too for when you’re reclined
I’ve knocked one star off purely because I took about an hour to work out how to operate it. Why doesn’t it come with instructions? I really struggled. The only fault I can find is that once reclined and locked into position it still gradually lowers itself back down to the floor. That’s quite annoying…. It feels like one side doesn’t lock as well.
Value for money and plenty of room to spread out, you can use them as upright chairs or loungers. A little heavy to lift but

Buy these chairs, I genuinely believe these are the most comfortable chairs I have ever sat in, all my life.
I am 16.5 stone, 5ft 8 and they support me perfectly.
They recline and extend beautifully and I easily sleep whilst they are reclined. The tops are padded which gives extra support and they really feel well made!
Great sun loungers, I’m a a big fella and these support me just Great… to well infact…
Can be a little awkward at 1st getting them to recline, but you get the hang of it… hey ho…
Bought this chair for husbands anniversary and he loves it. It’s so Comfy and good quality. A good wide chair with padding. The cushion is perfect and can be taken ir positioned anywhere. Easy to tilt back just push your feet on the foot bar and lean back. Then lock the chair in position. It feels completely safe and sturdy. I’ve just ordered another one for me ! Really good value would recommend.
It is very comfortable to sit on the only thing is that it is a bit heavy.
I have used Amazon basics a few times now and always found them to be as good as, if not better than, branded products, and excellent value. This chair is no exception, very comfortable, wider than standard chairs, which adds to the comfort, and very well made.
Great quality chair. Only constructive comment I would say is the locking feature does not lock 100% every time, but this does not bother me so much. Can recommend
They are much wider than my old ones
I liked the cup holder mesh that can hold cans
Has padding as well which adds comfort
all in all very good value for money
Only downside was one came damaged due to the delivery people not Amazon
Contacted Amazon and they where excellent and gave me money off to buy a damaged part
I would highly recommend these chairs I actually bought two more and everyone who used them here have commented on how comfy they are very happy with these
All round good quality , there is definitely a knack to using them but once you get it they’re great , we’ll worth it . We both fell asleep in the garden on the first use so thumbs up fron us .
But today I am delighted by the quality and build of this excellent chair.
I thought there would be more trouble getting it into a more horizontal position, but no, you just lean back and it smoothly contours itself.
I didn’t even bother using the locking handles, it’s sound enough in the reclining positin.
Then I just sat up and the chair moved smoothly back to the seated position.
And this is Amazon Basics quality?
Well done, Amazon, and well done, the manufacturer.

It doesn’t live up to next day delivery service.
On Amazon it said it was ‘late for delivery’
Then it was ‘lost’
There’s no way of contacting the seller. And no way of requesting a refund. So don’t buy if you need it within a week. Other than that, the chair is great. Bought one last year which has done well.
After much debate we settled on two of these at half the price of a padded seat elsewhere. Cannot complain, comfy, look good, very wide seat . The locking mechanism once reclined works to a point but if you forget you can sit up and overdue it so not sure how long that will last but for the money 9/10
It is very well made and the padded seat is very nice and comfortable to sit on.
My only gripes with it are:
The position locks are not strong enough and allow the chair to slide back into the upright position if you are not sat fully back in the chair.
For me, the zero gravity position that I expected to recline to; stopped short of what I believe would be the zero gravity position, and still felt pressure in the butt part of seat! I had to place a block of wood under the front leg of the chair to get it back into a better position.
Other than the small gripes it’s still a nice chair to relax in infront of my workshop log burner.
Overal Very pleased! comfortable well made & look classy ( chose black) me personally find it quite difficult to recline backwards ? Ware as my husband has no problem at all . Shame the padding doesn’t overlap the bottom bar ?
