Cheap monitor with good specs for the price. Build quality is good and no faults. Use this monitor for gaming and it is perfect. Obviously better monitors out there but for the price it is spot on. An excellent first monitor to start off or for a budget build.

I was a little confused with the analog stick thing for the settings and took a little fiddling, but after that it was great!

Image quality is fantastic, lots of settings to mess around with.

Sound quality is bad though, but you do get use to it.

    Great value for money

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a fantastic monitor for the price! Can’t believe how good it is. Very happy!

    Pros
    – Picture quality
    – G-sync compatible (works impeccably)
    – Cables included (Display Port + HDMI)
    – 144Hz

    Cons
    – Audio, the sound isn’t amazing. It’s usable and better than some of the budget monitors out there.

    Great quality monitor.

Being used right now with a PS4, the latest Gods of war – feedback is very positive.

One gripe – the integral speakers could be better.

For the price this is a really good peice of kit.

The picture is quality is honestly great. Though I would let your graphic cards software handle the colour options.

For a very small price, you can get a really good gaming experience. The monitor miraculously transmits a picture and fully corresponds to the declared functions. A couple of drawbacks for my taste: there is a plastic red insert under the monitor itself, which is aesthetically annoying. Also, to configure the monitor, you have only one button, which is responsible for everything, depending on which direction you pressed it, in fact it functions as a trigger for the gamepad, strange, but intuitively, someone will find this a disadvantage, I personally have no problems I see. In general, a decent monitor for it’s price.

The picture quality is sharp and vibrant, and there are no issues with ‘refresh’ and the way games or video content are being displayed generally.
That said, I am noticing faint flicker in desktop mode (this may or may not be the monitor itself).

All in all, I am very pleased with this unit for what I paid for it, and will probably buy another when I can.

The only problem with this monitor is that there is only a joystick at the back to change settings and everything which is a little difficult to use but other than that this is a great bargain.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is the AOC Gaming Screen.

I purchased this as i kept on having to switch from my ps4 to my mac and it started to get a bit boring and i was concerned the HDMI slot could end up getting damaged. I decided it was time to get a secondary monitor and so when i saw this on offer i instantly took the plunge.
First thought on turning on the power is that the screen is very bright and the image is very sharp. The monitor itself including the stand feels very light. The refresh rate of 144Hz makes gaming so much better and the graphic is awesome.

You can tilt the screen forward or back.
It has x1 HDMI port and x1 D port (Display Port) and a power connector.
    integrated speaker
All cables are included such as HDMI cable, power supply

Overall the screen is great bargain at a great price. This is perfect for someone that need a new screen but don’t want to break the bank. The design is very slick.

Some of the downside i came across was the positioning of the menu button, no VGA input, the base does not swivel.
The menu button is located at the rear on the right side and it can be a bit tricky at first.

But don’t let these negative word discourage you. It’s still great.

    A good scree

For the price I paid it is a great moniter.

Downsides are I get red ghosting effect if I move to fast while gaming.

I also wish it had more brightness adjustment. Its still too bright even when I set it to lowest.

My son moved in with me recently and stole my gaming monitors, so I bought these to replace them… Now I thank him, because I seem to do better on flat screens, than I did on curved!

    Pros:
Many configurations for different purposes (e.g. gaming, browsing, movies etc.).
Supports HDR, nice colours and contrast
    Very bright monitor.
I would say 24″ is big enough for splitting-screen and multi-tasking.

    Cons:
May take some times to find the best monitor settings that suit you

Came very well packaged, extremely easy to set up (and I’d say rather difficult to mess up) Monitor looks absolutely stunning, colours are beautiful and it certainly is 144Hz. If you’re looking for a good 144Hz monitor- buy this, it’s brilliant.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI needed a smaller monitor that was bright and could be used for gaming at times. I also wanted built in speakers so my small desk doesn’t get cluttered. This monitor stood out due to many favorable reviews and a really competitive price. I am delighted with it so far after 3 days. If that changes I’ll adjust my review. My only small gripe is that some other monitors have a little more flair/style, but these were either much more expensive, lacked speakers or had poor reviews. I’m happy with my choice.

Overall I am happy with this monitor, the main advantages being the price, the nice 24.5″ screen and sleek design with thin bezels. All of this, combined with the desk-space-efficient round base, makes it a good second monitor for me.

The main reason I wanted to write this review is to mention that the build quality is not great. This manifests itself in that the power cable, which plugs into the monitor vertically upwards, has a tendency to become dislodged by any small movements, or if I am trying to move the monitor at all. The cable does not fall out, but the power connection is lost and the screen turns off. Granted, this is not a problem most of the time.

EDIT: Another note about build quality – after a few months of use I have noticed that the red strip along the bottom of the screen, although it looks nice, is not well attached and pulls away from the screen at the centre quite easily. (Again, not a functional problem, though)

If you want a relatively cheap, sleek monitor for gaming then this is perfectly serviceable. However, I was able to get a 27″ IPS display (which is noticeably more vibrant than TN), and at 144hz, for just under double the price of this monitor. If you are looking for a main monitor for gaming, and your PC is powerful enough to take advantage of a 144hz display in the games you want to play, I would recommend spending a bit more if you can.

Decent little screen for the price. Stand ok, perhaps a little lower. Anirhwr thing that could be better is the cable arrangement. Could be placed higher on the screen so all cables could go through stand without showing. Very happy with the three I bought. Maybe next version will be even better.

Good screen for the budget. Paid 120GBP for it about 10 months ago still going strong.

Nice picture quality and 75Hz with 1ms response rate. Could not find anything similar at this price.

However, The screen had a dead white point on the display. It is in the corner of the screen so not bothering at all. You can spot it in the picture but it is very small

    Would highly recommend

5.0 out of 5 stars Great scree

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersFirst of all, I’ve seen that Amazon says this is “Frequently bought with….” a display port cable. It comes with one in the box, along with an HDMI and one EU, one UK power cord. So don’t buy any cables unless you need VGA (in which case, why are you buying this?)

The monitor looks great, with the small bezel on the top and sides, and even the bottom bezel is fairly small compared to many. When switched on, the picture is a great size and fills the frame nicely. Colours seem good, as does responsiveness – neither are perfect, but then this is a 120 75Hz TN panel, so if you want perfect then you need to spend a bit more on a 144Hz IPS panel.

My monitor had no stuck/dead pixels on arrival, although only time will tell if any appear in the coming months. The stand fit together quickly and easily, and seems reasonably sturdy. It doesn’t come with any height adjustment or pivot, which is a shame, but the default height is sensible unless your desk is high and it does at least tilt.

Picture quality out of the box is good and adjustment via the menu is good is good with lots of options and a nice responsive menu. The speakers, on the other hand, are so bad that I’d rather they just didn’t bother including them… I’d rather have had a few quid off the price

As long as you have speakers or a headset though, this thing is excellent value for money.

I purchased two of these monitors from COMPSOLUK (search Amazon.UK) .

For the price I think they are unbeatable …. thin bezel, decent colour reproduction, “built in” power supply (no external box) , lots of input options, seemingly good build quality. I have used much more expensive monitors in the past .. but right now … these seem to be great value for money.

There were some delivery problems (purely down to the courier company) , but a phone call to the re-seller at around 16:00 resulted in another two monitors being dispatched which were received before 11:00 the next morning.

I would highly recommend both this equipment and the seller.

Although I struggled to find the power on button (of my own error) the monitor has proven to be very good for the price. It looks smart and the thin border around the display makes it look very sleek.

If anyone is familiar with Escape From Tarkov, I can highly recommend this monitor for that gaming purpose, after selecting the gaming option in the menu everything is extremely clear and 100x easier to see compared to my 24″ LG monitor (1080p 60hz)

In terms of the speakers, they aren’t great and I would advise buying mid-range speakers around 30 – 60 to get good quality bass/and better sound quality. Although, for youtube videos, the speakers do their job.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI used all my life , AOC.

I did notice Amazon Customer review top 4. He’s completely wrong, you might have old PC and your video card it’s doggy or about to worn out. If you don’t believe that’s up to you. If you love to compare your purchase , with other screen monitors go to Curry’s or PC world . Have a look if they got screen monitors of AOC brand and look at the other screens, you will notice nothing can outstand Crystal clear picture. I know all this because, I been using this brand for years, never left me disappointed worth of money, excellent quality.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersNeeded a monitor that was capable of freesync and this doesn’t disappoint. It’s a great budget gaming monitor. If you’re into video/photo editing I wouldn’t get this tho as it’s a TN panel. But other than that it’s great for what it is and definitely worth the money if you need a good but cheap monitor for gaming that is capable of feesync. (bear in mind that you will need to make sure you have an amd graphics card also capable of freesync for you to have this feature)

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI would presume you didn’t read the comments and have bought this monitor and then you’re in the same position I am in, having bought it.

Some things I wish I knew:

Setting up was easy enough but when inserting the power, to elaborate, teh slightest knock or jab there comes electricity buzzing from the socket where the plug falls slightly is a fault with this monitor- be very sure the 3-pin plug is the last thing you attach SECURELY.

Then the joystick button is a pain in the *** finally I figured out how 2 turn on you flick it up.

I’m one of those types of person will not let anyone touch it and gets upset when it sounds like sparks from power supply gets knocked, I wish I spent more money on a better monitor now.

    But I’m ok 😉

Edit: I have since found out for myself that you have to push that power supply cable into the monitor HARD until it clicks but I did not know that I wish I did.
