very good laptop i have bought 2 asus tuf f15 laptops from this seller battery life is not good but overall laptop is good.
Got my son this for Christmas as his first gaming laptop.
Decent graphics card and good spec for the money.
On first impressions it is a well designed and an aesthetically good looking laptop. The screen is bright and very clear and the keyboard is a lot better than my old one. It took about 2 hours to get everything installed and away I went.
As many others have said, I immediately upgraded the RAM with an extra 8gb Crucial memory stick that I got for 30 on eBay, which was very easy to install. I also bought an external HDD dock, so I was able to access the games I already had on 2 x 2tb HDD’s, which only took about an hour to get it to be fully accessible and finally a mouse as I really can’t use the keyboard for FPS games as I’ve got big hands.
It has everything I need. Micro SD slot, USB ports, USB3 port, headphone jack, and a Thunderbolt 4 slot. After a bit of research, I found I can use this as a standard USB C sot, so I can use that for charging items, or transferring to a multi USB reader.
When playing AAA games on higher settings, yes, the fans are a bit noisy, but it doesn’t disturb the wife as I usually play with headphones anyway. The sound is impressive with DTS sound which is fully customisable, and with the RTX3050 inside, I can play most of my games in very high or even ultra settings.
Overall, I am so happy with this laptop, and at the price I got it for, it was a bargain. A brilliant starter gaming laptop!
Very potent and good budget laptop. Due to its performance, the battery can’t keep the laptop up for more than 1.5 hours.
This is not a notebook, so if you’re planning to take it somewhere to do some work on it, make sure you are fully charged and you have a power socket around you.
Also, it is a bit heavier than other laptops, which is expected.
Overall, amazing performance for its value.
Excellent value for money, particularly during the 549.99 Black Friday sale.
Decent performance during in most modern games.
But boy, is it loud! The fans are going into overdrive when there is high GPU demand on the system.
It’s a great laptop. One easily use it for gaming and regular stuff. As a gaming laptop it’s havier than other laptops, so carrying the weight would be a problem.
pretty good for games etc, however would suggest to add a critical RAM, atleast 8gigs and a critical SSD, 1tb. then this will be a proper gamers delight
Battery life is not that great, but maybe coz i am comparing it to a macbook.
this is kinda heavy and bulky with a good build quality and coming from mechanical keyboards, the keyboard on this felt weak.
Webcam is just ok,.
Sound output is good but i miss the type C charging port and this has the traditional plugs.
Overall a decent buy at the price point but I genuinely wish it came with type c charging.
Highly recommended getting it but only when it’s on sale
Is very nice computer, but first you should know how to upgrade ram , however it is a really nice compute
Plays World of Warcraft perfectly for me. I took the advise from another post saying to upgrade the RAM to 16gb and runs even faster now.
For the money you won’t be disappointed but I would recommend the RAM Upgrade. You can do it yourself as it’s very easy.
Is a good laptop for the price but is extremely important to upgrade for 16gb ram dual channel, the performance get a big boost after the upgrade.
This laptop also is not worth more than 600 pounds , the best part of the laptop is the performance after upgrade Vs price.
But I really enjoy the laptop because deliver good design, screen and reasonable performance(after ram upgrade) for the price.
I got the laptop from Amazon warehouse, so I got second hand returned laptop but the condition I got looks brand new.
Is good but for the right price!
It did take a lot of time to finish everything.
I installed 16gb of crucial ballistic 3200, but the system only sees the default value which is 2666.
To avoid this only replace ram with 3200 ram that can achieve that frequency at 1.2v.
Other than that a pleasure to use, tested with God of war and other similar titles, ran flawlessly.
Update purchase number 2 (mine and my daughter’s)
Still a banging laptop for the money. Leant my lesson on the ram upgrade this time, only buying ram that is capable of 3200mhz at 1.2v
