If you want play World of Tanks you need something more powerful. The processors are working at maximum at nearly 2.7ghz. You need an internet booster (and a flash drive) eventually if you want play at minimum settings the game mentioned above.
The display is wonderful, high quality, high definition.

I’m not a tech person, so this was easy to set and navigate.
My son uses this with ease as well.
Great value for money, light weight, just like having a full computer but portable

Got this whilst on offer (179) which is incredible! Super-simple to setup with the pre-installed Office 365 suite. Comes with a year of “personal” 365, but I signed in with my work’s account. Everything works perfectly. Even used Teams for a video meeting on its first day.

Our company uses OneDrive as our shared “server” and this was dead easy to setup too. I even configured it to only keep OneDrive local copies if a particular file was used in the last 14 days (via storage sense). This keeps local storage available (which isn’t huge, in all fairness).

For a low spec laptop, it performs absolutely fine for 365 stuff. It starts up really quickly too (after its initial flurry of obligatory Win11 updates).

Great buy!! Screen quality is very good, Battery life last’s a long time. It’s good for work & gaming and great for watching films. Price is very reasonable.

So far, everything has worked swimmingly. It’s perfect for what I need: light computer work, web browsing, youtube videos, google docs/excel, etc. It’s very lightweight and compact. It has 3 USB ports, 2 older versions and 1 newer version – this is tremendously helpful. It’s surprisingly fast compared to the other laptop I bought at the same price range. The mousepad calculator keypad is inventive and actually kind of useful. It powers on/off quite quickly. Software updates are quite fast. Screen and volume control are fantastic – I can finally watch Netflix on my laptop if I want.

Cons: The left SHIFT button is half the size that I’m used to and there is now a separate backslash key which I always accidentally press, though I’m sure in time I will get used to this. Lastly, I wish the keyboard had backlighting for easier typing during nighttime, but it’s not a dealbreaker.

Originally, I was going to buy an ASUS Zenbook but it was much more expensive than I could afford, but honestly, I really like this Vivobook and think it’s perfect for me. Overall, 9/10! ASUS laptops have always served me well (no surprise as ASUS is a Taiwanese company, which is where I believe most microchips like INTEL are made).

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis model is very good for what it is meant to do – word processing and internet browsing. Good for work and light leisure use but will struggle with multi-tasking and doing anything heavier than MS Office/Chrome so I wouldn’t expect to get more than you pay for and what it is designed for. It is not suitable for playing games.

Screen is a good size and quality for doing the above and the keyboard stands up well to fast typing. The design is sturdy and sleek enough that it doesn’t look like a cheap machine.

It does exactly what it was bought for as a light work and leisure laptop.

Excellent product and seems to be a great quality too, however even just for the price, software and hardware it worth to buy it.

    GREAT DEAL !

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersNeeded a lap top urgently for a mate who was admitted to a long hospital visit so he could do his banking, emails, watch all tv channels plus some specialist sites. Didn’t want to spend ti much but wanted the speed, large screen, good battery life, good memory and with all the operating software. This matched all our requirements without breaking the bank and this is a superb and impressive, easy to use, lap top. Excellent value.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersWas slightly disappointed with the build quality maybe I was expecting too much for this price. However I recently purchased a Lenovo with the same spec and same price (can’t find the same model anywhere otherwise I would have bought another) and it is perfect.

    Pro’s
    Great quality 1080 screen.
Looks good with the funky design on the lid.

    Con’s
    Lid/screen is very flimsy.
Sharp edges on lid. Screen bezel seems to be larger than the lid leaving sharp edges protruding past the side of the lid. Feels like it will pull of the screen bezel if you aren’t careful.
    Quality control is poor.
Trackpad makes that annoyingly cheap clunk even with the lightest of touches.
Wouldn’t break any speed records. (I expected that for the spec)

Overall it’s just OK for the price and once I installed Linux Mint it felt fast.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our Usersook me a little time to get used to not having dedicated mouse buttons, and after installing my essential software, there is not of storage space left, and I don’t really like Windows 11, compared to Windows 10 as you require twice as many key presses to do the same task, but everyone will have to change to Windows 11 eventually, it would work better if it had 8GB of ram. to reduce lag.

I’m content with the purchase – never meant to be a long term laptop but is fine as a stopgap and one to take on holiday etc

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersWe were previously using an Asus X205TA (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00R6BRR2A/) – an 11.6″ Intel Atom/2GB/Windows 8.1 upgraded to Windows 10 on a 32GB SSD. After 7 years, its performance showed its age. But it was a good machine that lasted the years.

On discovering this more recent Asus E510MA (with a more recent 15″ Celeron/4GB/Windows 11 on 128GB eMMC), it appeared to be the ideal successor. A much larger screen, modern Windows, larger SSD, and it cost very little more (187 vs 155) than that old X205TA from 7 years ago.

The use of that laptop was primarily web, email, and Excel. We used some third-party software, but nothing essential or that couldn’t be replaced (like FireFox, Thunderbird, etc), so we’ve decided to leave it on “S Mode”.

The result is a much more responsive machine, a better user experience, a keyboard with a number pad, and a great screen for the price. If we get the same 7 years out of it that we got for the last one (which is still running, albeit slowly, and still has a decent battery life), then we’ll consider it the bargain of the year.

It’s no powerhouse, if that’s what you’re looking for. I know lots of people will immediately switch out of “S Mode” and into “full Windows 11” in order to use third-party software but, really, if you buy this with that intention in mind then you would be better off buying something more powerful. (I’ve not tested it for gaming, but I’m guessing it wouldn’t be brilliant.)

But, as a basic web/email/Office laptop, this is a great buy.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersBattery life is 6h, so it wont last all day in courses, you have additional slot for nvme ssd, but no slot to expand your ram memory, you stuck with 4GB only. You get what you pay for, basic laptop for youtube and ms office work.
