My daughter loves this, she goes back to play with it time and time again. The tunes are lively and the front legs do a dressage type dance.

The build quality on both the Barbie and the horse is fantastic and robust and will withstand being played with lots. The dancing horse features are really good and the lights and sounds are excellent, making my children very happy while playing.
The horse’s harness is the only weak spot I can see which could potentially break over time but so far no issues.

This is a beautiful toy perfect for a child who is into their Barbie’s and Horses. The quality and detailing for both the Barbie doll and horse is amazing. I’ve included a little video of the motion, light and sound effects which make this great toy even better. I can’t wait for lockdown to be over so my niece can come over and play with it, she’s going to love it!
Bought for a christmas present but of course I had to test it ! My niece will love it. It’s bigger than I was expecting, plays great tunes. Good value for money.
This is a pretty elegant and beautiful Barbie set. I should say it’s a rather large doll set.
The horse is really beautifully made and dances so elegantly while music is playing. Her moves are natural and smooth.
My daughter enjoys playing with the horse more than the Barbie actually. The Barbie doll is nice as expected.
I normally won’t get my daughter a Barbie doll but since Barbie is riding the horse and they dance together really beautifully I can make an exception.

I ordered this for my daughter who has recently started liking Barbie dolls. She had never played with Barbies when she was younger but since last few months she has been watching some Barbie animated show which has made her interested in these dolls and I thought this would be a nice little present for her.
When this arrived it was well packaged and in excellent condition. The actual product packaging is bright and attractive with a large viewing window at the front so you can see the product clearly and it looks really pretty. The horse and the Barbie were fixed in place with ties which were reasonably OK to remove apart from on Barbies head. It was difficult to cut close to the head without cutting the hair and it left bits of plastic sticking out of the back of the head.
The build quality on both the Barbie and the horse is fantastic and the feel really robust. I feel that these will withstand being played with lots. The horse can do lots of things like dancing and has lights and sounds as well which are really fun and brings the toy alive. My daughter had lots of fun playing with it.

Barbie princess and her horse are pretty and imaginative, I got this for my little sister and she loves this toy it keeps her entertained for hours.
Barbie looks modern and like a princess in her pretty blue stared skirt and frilly pink top and pink boots.
The star of the show is the horse though.
The horse hooves and tiara light up with pink blue and purple.
When you press the horses head she dances and trot along to three different barbie songs.
You can place barbie on her shimmer horse and let your little one play till there hearts content, this really is a great little gift.
Overall, your little one will play for hours with barbie and her shimmer horse.
I would recommend this product.
This was for my pony mad, Barbie crazy, 3 year old daughters birthday. It really is a magical gift. Very impressed!!!!
Brilliant for any Barbie fans. Many generations of girls grow up playing with barbie, even I had one about 30 years ago and now my daughter also love to play with. It looks like barbie is timeless as she is so beautiful today as she was 30 years ago the only difference is that now you can buy so many extra things for her like this horse. She comes with a nice blue skirt with some shine starts on it and a salmon pink tank top. She even has a tiara let’s be honest in barbie’s word she must wear a tiara while she is riding a horse 🙂 She is flexible, with bendable legs and knees. Her horse is beautiful light brown coloured with a soft gold mane and tail. And you know what. The horse also has a tiara :). Just touch the horse’s tiara to see her hooves, tiara and bridle light up as she nuzzles and neighs. There is also a button near the horse’s tail and tilt her back on her hind legs to activate a magical light show, play a song and see her dance to the tune! This will be a great Christmas gift for this year, it’s a perfect little Girl Toy
Large set (bigger than expected). Lights and sounds make for a better playing experience. The horse and barbie live up to what is expected from the brand. A bit noisy; just like the kids.

Beautiful set that is surely going to capture any little girl’s heart. Larger than I expected, and it is, for a change, decent value for money. This set is interactive, and children get more out of it with the songs and different light and sound combinations.

The horse steals the show with her ability to make noises and dance. She is also very noisy. There is a definite mechanical noise that is hard to ignore — for adults, anyway. Children obviously don’t care — oh to be like that again!

I loved the head nuzzles and bobbing, this is much like how real horses behave and gave a sense of authenticity to what is primarily a make-believe magical horse.

Barbie is looking fabulous as usual with a lovely dress. I hoping she doesn’t join the already resident harem of naked barbies. Only time will tell.

I got this as I have a few Barbie fans in my household. It’s recommended for 3+ years old.
Barbie is your usual Barbie doll, perfectly made and clearly dressed as a Princess who has never been horse riding in the real world! Pink boots were a sensible choice though.
However, with this set it’s all about the horse, all about Prance & Shimmer. Aside from sounding like it was named after a fictional failed 80’s pop duo, this horse is pretty fantastic.
Press the button on the horse’s forehead and you get one of 25 sound or sound and light effects. The tiara, mane jewellery & hooves can light up in rainbow colours and the horse also moves it’s head and front legs. It is very, very cool.
One negative for me is that the motors driving the horse’s movement are rather loud and I feel that impacts on the magic somewhat. I don’t think it’s really acceptable and it should be quieter but needless to say this set went down very well with my daughters and both horse and Barbie doll were immediately integrated into their Barbie play. The whirring motors were not even noticed.
If you have a Barbie fan, or if you just want to see a horse with light up hooves, then this is an excellent gift.
This an amazing Barbie with a very interactive horse. The size if the set together is very big! We were very impressed by how big the horse is. The set arrives in a very appealing box which makes it perfect to be handed as a gift in case you are considering that.
The horse arrives with batteries mounted and full, we started using it straight out of the box. The design design of the Barbie princess is conventional but still very stunning. The build quality is very acceptable and the hair is well attached to the body.
The Barbie can be mounted on the horse easily, which then makes some very interactive movements which are accompanied with music and colorful light transitions.
Overall a very lovely doll with a very big horse that I believe to be really well worth it.
A gorgeous barbie and horse set. The fairy-like princessy colours are saturated and so lively. The barbie is average sized and is very well made as expected from Mattel. Her dress along with the horse-riding boots is a nice ensemble. The foil print on the dress is pretty and the shiny silver strands in the horse’s hair is a nice touch. The highlight of the set is the horse though. Looks realistic, has a dreamy pearlescent off-white colour, and the nuzzle and 2 front legs having moving joints that respond to a button on the head and move along with 3 different tunes. When the button is pressed, the horse’s pink tiara also lights up. Yes, there is a mechanical noise when one of the tunes is activated, but I don’t mind this because it does help relay a more realistic or ‘hoof-like’ effect of the horse’s movements.
A very beautiful that will delight every barbie lover and a great addition to any collection. I would highly recommend it. Much more prettier in real life than the photos.

This is the Barbie Princess Adventure set, which you get one doll and horse. The doll is a lovely long locked Barbie, much like a certain branded fairytale princess, dressed in an ice blue starry skirt and pink top. Covering all bases! She also comes with her crown / tiara and a pair of sturdy pink boots.
Also included here is the star of the show, an interactive horse! The horse is a gorgeous big old unit in white with a big pink saddle and stirrups. It has a lovely long flowing golden sparkly flowing mane. The real fun begins when you press its forehead, this will produce light up front hooves, crown and mane decoration. But also you will a neigh or one of three songs, a total of 25+ combos. The head moves up n down and even the front legs do a little dance. Amazing.
My youngest absolutely adores princesses and horses, so any child the same this is essential.
Well recommended, as it is a big old unit and the features are fantastic. Oh and at the current price it is a steal! Get this on yer Xmas list now.
It’s a lovely Barbie gift set I’m sure all Barbie fans would be thrilled with, and I’m sure younger children probably won’t notice the mechanism noise, being too entranced with the lights and movement of the Barbie horse, but I’m going to knock 1 star off for the noisy mechanism as I feel it could be better designed. The first thing which surprised me was the size. In pictures, you cant see what but the horse is quite big. The box itself contains barbie and a horse.
The quality as always of these toys are really good. The main attraction of this barbie would be a horse as this is what was taken straight away then we gave it to my niece. The horse has 3 different songs and can make various different sounds, then you push the button on top of its head as well its start to move like a real horse. Moreover, as it moves and makes the sound a lights starts to blink, which attracts most of the attention. The barbie mounts on a horse quite easily and stays there secure. Mostly due to the fact the horse does not move. The sound of music which comes from a horse is really good and not too silent. So far my niece is very happy with it and plays with this toy already the third day in a row. So in my opinion, it is a really good toy if a kid plays with it so long.
Looks super in the box when you get it, and equally delightful for the little ones once out. Barbie is quite standard, but she still looks delightful in her princess dress. Seems funny to have the lovely dress and then some big boots, but works better for riding a horse than high heels! You can try out the horse sounds in the box and better once out of the box. The horse doesn’t walk, but the kids don’t mind as they move it along anyway. Sounds, light and music and the horse moves its front feet. Seems well constructed. Batteries are already in the horse. You can’t turn the light and sound features off unless you remove the batteries. Lots of fun for hours of imaginative play. For the horse and the Barbie it seems a reasonable price.
I didn’t really want to buy this, but my daughter has always gotten so excited when the advert comes on. When I saw on offer I decided to make the purchase, and to be fair it looks great!
