Like so many I have switched off some heating. This is ideal for heating somewhere quickly. I needed it for my study as it can get cold when just sitting there. This heater quickly heats up the room but costs very little. It barely shows as extra on my meter tracker. It switches off automatically if moved or banged but comes on again if safe. I used it on number 1 for an hour and it only cost pennies. Would definitely recommend.

We ordered these 2nd time, quality is good but remember it’s almost impossible to replace fused halogen tubes. Sadly they do get burned frequently.

This heater has been a God -send for me this winter. It gives instant heat which if the doors to the room are closed, can heat the whole room efficiently. Bonus is that it also gives great light , I often don’t need to switch any other lights on. It’s so light and easy to carry around if needed, for me it’s been a great buy!

The product is good for heating a small room. It is a bit flimsy and the lead is not very long. It produces enough heat on two bars to take the chill off a small room. The cut out switch is reassuring, so if it tips over or it is moved it cuts out.

I bought this to save on electricity as I have electric heating. Gives out a good heat and came with a spare bulb but with no instructions how to change it. The occillating didn’t last long either before it was permanently stuck . For the money though it’s worth it.

Love the fact that it throws the heat out nicely, it’s nice n sturdy but only thing I don’t like is the power controller is right above where it’s hot. That is the only thing tho. I would still recommend

Heard some bad things about these breaking , had mine a month and no problems, got 3 free bulbs in case they break but no instructions of how to fit them, besides that I would recommend this product, the money I’ve saved on heating costs, it paid for itself the first week

Can only put one bar on as the handle gets really hot . You can’t feel any heat if you are further than 2 feet from it. It isn’t very sturdy so I wouldn’t leave the room while it’s on although it does switch off if it’s knocked slightly which is good. I bought this as it had good reviews but I’m quite disappointed with it tbh.

Right ….errmmmm yeah If you value your retinas don’t have this facing you ….I had to check if it was made in China as I heard they are making a device that simulates the sun and though they sent that by accident , but nope it’s a fire for sure …warm ..but bright …very very bright.

Bought this heater because it came with 3 spare tubes just in case we ever needed them, but I must say the heater seems to do it’s job well so we use it when watching TV in the evening rather than the central heating and it keeps us nice and warm.
I would just remind you that it doesn’t heat the room just you.

Heater works well but seems very fragile and light in weight. The heater was delivered in darkness and left outside our gate, out of sight. People should not be expected to deliver items to areas without good street lighting.

Heater works great however i noticed as soon as i turned it on only 2 of the 3 tubes were lighting up. I turned it off and checked the appliance and noticed the bottom tube has snapped off on the holder. Its come with replacement tubes but this shouldnt of happened. Inside the box the polystyrine was snapped in half so this was either a return or been incorrectly packaged.

It’s kinda hurting my eyes, obscures the TV with the bright light, but I bought it to be warn, and it’s doing that job…small room to heat up, so feeling some warmth…

It doesn’t fully heat up a big room but is warm if you sit near it. It plugs in and is easy to move to different rooms as it is very light to carry

Good little heater for the price, although being halogen the light is extremely bright so we use it on a dark landing as there is too much glare when using in your living/dining room area, but apart from that, it ticks the boxes

I have this under my desk and so far I have not had to heat my office with our air con unit which costs a fortune as the office space is large with a high ceiling, plus it creates drafts on the outer edges of the office as it blows out warm air. The heater is not too close to where I sit therefore it is not a fire hazard. I would struggle to touch it unless I stretched my feet out plus the underside of the desk does not get hot. You would not want to sit too close as it would make you too hot. The radiant heat is instant so no waiting for the room to heat up as with a lot of heaters. I only need one bar which burns 400W which at 0.28 per unit is 11.2p per hour so 7 hours of use is only 0.78. As the weather cools down going towards winter, I will use the air con heating in my office as a low background heat with the one bar under my desk to keep me warm. Very pleased with this but as other reports say, it is very bright if it is in your eye line. This is not a problem for me as it is out of eyesight and tucked away under my desk. It will very quickly pay for itself so very happy with this purchase.

The Belaco New upgraded Halogen Electric Heater is a slim line heater and takes up less space than other halogen heaters. I do not use it on the oscillating facility but am very happy with the heat output on even just 1 bar. As others have said the dial gets a bit hot and therefore you have to be aware of this when shutting off the heater. I would be reluctant to use this or any similar heater where there are children in the house. A I am happy with this heater and would recommend it for quality and value.
