This is the small wallet you want. It’s Cheap for what it is. Small, elegant, no bs. I got others for 1/3rd of the price and radically different. Pay up to 100 for something you’ll use N times a day for years to come.
Great quality and a very slimline design. Slightly too small to be able to fit folded notes without crinkling the edge of them. However overall – excellent wallet!
Solid little wallet. Went from a chunky wallet with a coin pouch I have had for ten years and haven’t looked back. Slim, good layout and premium leather.
Nothing to dislike, used for every day use, notes and credit cards
My previous Bellroy wallet was on its last legs, and so this was a perfect replacement.
Highly recommended. It you appreciate quality materials, slim minimal profile on your wallet then this is a mus
This is my second Slim sleeve wallet and will be a replacement for the 1st one WHEN it eventually bites the dust.
I’ve had mine for about 7 or 8 years now and although it’s showing its age and some of the stitching has stared to fray, it has served me superbly well.
It carries 8 cards some banknotes and a few business cards without being bulky and its design and form size are perfectly suited to a front pocket
I love i
Only had it for two weeks so cant comment on durability.
Seems very good – nice leather and it works as i thought it would.
Small but usable. I have put 100 in notes into the small inside section and it it just about ok.
It holds two cards in the main sections which are easily accessible. And the inside card section with easy pull out does seem to work quite well.
This is a very expensive item for what it does but it does it well. I had a Chelsea type pull tab one previously but broke the pull system after only 2 years. This one is a better design and although a little wider it does everything better.
I think it is likely to prove a better purchase than the previous cheaper Chelsea type I had previously.
Had a TUMI for ages and it started to show its age and was bulky for what it was. Been looking for a minimalist slim wallet for a while and it was either this or the Note Sleeve. As I don’t carry much cash and only a few cards as many loyalty cards, etc, can be put on your mobile phone, the TUMI was too big for what I was looking for. In the end, went for the Slim Sleeve and really happy with the purchase. Such a small wallet and is exactly what I was looking for. Only downside is that it is not RFID protected but I have 2 very thin paper RFID sleeves which does the job without adding further bulk to it. I have to admit, it doesn’t like to carry more than 8 cards on one side comfortably. I just have the 2 daily cards and just a couple in the side pocket. UK notes can be folded 3 times but it does add bulk or folded twice so they peek out a bit but this doesn’t affect the wallet when it close it shut. Overall, a great wallet made very well with lovely materials. Not had it for long so time will tell but I love it’s small profile when I put it into my pockets. Even if you’re wearing tight jeans, a breeze to take in and out and does not leave a massive wallet impression on the outside so very discreet.
Slim. Holds 4 cards and 3-4 notes (pound sterling) comfortably. very happy
Fianc loved it, unfortunately so did someone else as they stole it while we were in tescos a few weeks after he got it. Oh well!
Don’t normally leave a review but this product exceed expectations so much that I had to share.
I have wanted a slim men’s wallet for years and finally got around to treating myself. This Bellroy wallet is exactly what I wanted. It fits perfectly in a back pocket and carries all the cards I need. I like the two easy access pockets so my most used cards never get lost amongst the others.
Please note any wear shown in the pictures is from my own use, the wallet arrived in perfect condition.
Bought this particular Wallet as I keep buying ‘Leather’ ones that fall apart after 18 months. Although not cheap, you get what you pay for – buy cheap, buy twice! The Leather is superb and the stitching is spot on. It holds my six Cards (including Driving License) with ease and is not bulky in the least. If you carry a lot of Cash, this probably isn’t the Wallet for you; I found it held 50 quid in Tens folded up a couple of times, but probably wouldn’t want to put more in than that. One criticism is, they should put the Bellroy ‘Owl’ logo on the front to make it look a bit more classy, but a minor quibble. All in all, it’s a lovely piece of leather-work, if a considered purchase.
his is my second Bellroy slim case which is as good as before. The last one has been used for over 5 years and still in good shape but has become dirty so bought a new replacement. i like the slim case which can fit into a pocket easily and not like other bulky wallets yet it can accommodate a number of plastic cards. very good product indeed.
Well made, it improves with age and has slimmed my pocket a lot.
I’ve now ordered the note sleeve for day to day, this one will be when I’m in a suit and don’t want to ruin the line.
This is first premium wallet i have purchased, for something i use on a daily basis i think it is worth paying for superipr quality and the Bellroy slim sleeve lives up to this. The feel (and smell) of the leather are wonderful! The wallet was smaller amd slimmer than i had even imagined and it functioms exactly as you would expect.
Fantastic wallet. Super slim, fits many more cards than I expected as well as folded notes. Great quality leather with stylish stitching. Can’t be faulted and can’t recommend highly enough. Was searching far and wide for the perfect wallet and glad I finally found it!
This wallet is top quality leather and feels soft to the touch. Really love the small size and room for my cards. Highly recommend this item, with top marks!
Bought as a present for my style-concious son and he loves it. Provides enough storage in what is appears to be a neat and well made item. Will be in daily use and we will see how it stands up to constant use.
Great minimalist wallet. Cant help but feel like its cheaply made though.
Great little wallet and exactly what I was after. Works like a charm, very small and built for convenience.
As someone who values minimal wallets, I am quite happy with this one.
I’ve been using this for about two weeks. Everything inside is easy to access and it’s much nicer to carry than my previous wallet because of its slim dimensions. The design is neat and the leather is good quality. You could argue that it’s a little on the expensive side, but I don’t mind, as it’s a one-off purchase.
This product quality is great but just storage for cards and fold up notes in a tight space is not practical .
great wallet to have, have moved my cards from the old wallet and is really compact.
Love these wallets, but sometimes the tab can be difficult to get hold of (to access the less frequently used cards) when you have short fingernails!
Brought this as a fathers day gift.
I personally use another Bellroy wallet, it’s always the same story, great design, great materials.
Haven’t really got anything bad to say, they are superb!
It is what it says on the tin – including the very high price. My only gripe is the price. Be aware that cannot shove money back in your wallet like a normal wallet, it takes more application, therefore if you are outside or rushing somewhere you are better putting change in your pocket and sorting the filling of the money late
Had this for nearly 6 months, it’s holding up well. Some marks in the leather, no more than you would expect though after sharing a pocket with keys/coins. I only store 5 cards (2 quick access + 3 behind) and a few notes so can’t comment on how well it would hold more than that. It’s perhaps not the most compact wallet but it certainly feels good quality, would definitely consider Bellroy again even if I wanted a different size next time.
I first noticed the ads for these appearing forever ago but on noticing someone I worked with had one I asked if it really worked.
I have to say I am impressed it is a very small wallet and so small sometimes it feels like it is not in the pocket but it does everything my larger wallet did and feels like it is going to last a long time.
I can’t believe how tiny and slick this wallet is. In conjunction with some of the tips on the Bellroy website, this wallet consumes 12 credit cards plus folded notes and slips comfortably into my trouser pocket. To begin with I kept thinking I’d forgotten it but now in used to so no more worries. It looks great too. I’ve been using it for about 2 months and it still looks brand new. Great piece of engineering!
Nice wallet, albeit overpriced for what you actually get. Looks smart enough, but the workmanship doesn’t appear to be anything special.
I was actually going to return it, once I pulled the product out of it’s packaging, but decided in the end to just keep it, as I need a thin wallet, and couldn’t be bothered looking around any more; Plus the cheaper alternatives look a bit *too* cheap 🙂
So, three stars is all it gets. Looks okay, and does the job. Price it too high for what you get.
UPDATE – 1 YEAR ON…
Just an update to my review, as I’ve now had the wallet for little over a year now.
The wallet is now somewhat weathered looking, but it’s keeping it’s shape and stitching is still holding strong. The weathered look is only on the outside where it’s been rubbing against my jean pockets, etc; the inside is still looking smooth and ‘newish’ as before.
I’ve actually grown to like the wallet to be honest, despite my review earlier! It’s just the right size to hold everything I need.
Empty it’s size is 7.8cm x 9.5cm x 0.8cm (w, h, d). With it fully laden with my stuff it’s expanded to around 1.5cm depth – fully laden consists of 2 credit cards (one in each sleeve), 3 more cards (AA, drivers licence, library card) on one side (with the pull up thingy), and several notes and a card on the other. The pull up thingamajig is still working too.
So, all in all, it’s holding up very well indeed. Still over priced though! I’ve given it one extra star now for durability. 🙂
Added pictures of the outside (fully laden) and inside to show what it looks like after 1 year of constant battering by yours truly!
