I’ve owned 3 of these coats now this being the third . Thought it very light weight compared to my old one ,but it is very warm which surprised me keeps the wind out , although being so cold I use it as a under coa
Does everything I want. Smart, easy to wear and warm. Very happy customer.
a good quality jacket. I bought the same one 7 or 8 years ago so they wear well.the only thing that I was disappointed with is my previous one had a zipped inside pocket this is not their om the new one.
I’m so pleased with this fleece from Berghaus. I got it because about five years ago I picked up a Berghaus polartec fleece in a charity shop, pretty much the same as this. I wore it for work pretty solidly for winter, autumn and the start of spring and it was still going strong until it got accidentally damaged getting caught in something. I was so impressed with he quality, fit and warmth of it that I just had to get this the newer version. And I’m glad I did.
It’s well fitting, cut well and looks as stylish as a fleece could look.
It’s very warm and does a good job at blocking wind chill.
It zips up up to my chin and the sleeves are tight enough to prevent draughts.
The breast pocket, (an essential requirement for me and not that popular in full zip fleeces) stores my big phone (Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra in an Otterbox Defender tough case) perfectly well.
It washes really well and the nice fleece texture doesn’t bobble and it’s still very dark black.
I like the details too like the logo placements and the embossed logo on the zip pulls.
Overall an excellent quality fleece that I’m glad I got.
Very good for the cold weather, however I think this jacket is a bit on the expensive side.
Had a large which I am 42 chest, but when zipped inside waterproof its tight. Sent both back and reordered XL, am awaiting delivery, just hope they won’t be to big.!!!
I purchased this (M) size fleece for my husband and he was so delighted with the quality. The fit was just perfect for him!
Nice fleece, but is a liner for a jacket, as has tabs on sleeves
First fleece I have ever bought and I’m glad it was by Berghaus. I have worn this pretty much every day during the cold season and can’t see myself without it. Great quality, comfortable, well fitted, retains body heat extremely well and very durable. Will definitely keep you warm on it’s own in dry outdoor conditions when the temperature is cool and when worn underneath a winter jacket during colder climates.
Perfect if you love hiking and the outdoors.
Basically lived in this through Winter when it was really cold, I have two of them one green and one black.
Really comfortable and warm and the chest pocket is great for keeping your phone in as well so it’s easy to get to
The fleece is slightly big to fit inside the waterproof shell. As someone has already commented, the sleeves are quite long, though I do have short arms. Once zipped in it is then difficult to hang both satisfactorily. I do not zip the fleece into the shell and instead wear it separately unattached.
After having tried all the ridiculously expensive brands of fleece and ending up selling all of them on ebay as they just weren’t warm…too busy being hi-tech…I bought one of these. What a good decision; I wanted a fleece I could flop around the house in, not too tight not too baggy, comfortable and soft, warm and cozy and looks ok for the occasional wandering to the shops. This ticks all the boxes, very pleased…it’s like an outdoor dressing gown.
Has the loops so sleeves will stay in place when taking on and off with an IA coat. Thicker material than the prism, more structured. If it matters the chest pocket is also convenient.
Very nice fleece jacket. Good design, smooth fabric and warm ideally suited for walking in cold weather
Only criticism is the misleading colour description of Dusk when in fact it is actually Dark Blue as stated on the label.
To avoid confusion this should be corrected.
