Jacket is great length. Coat just above the knees. I’m 5’6 and size 8/10. Opted for size 12. Glad I did . Roomy enough for light body warmer or hoodie / jumper .
I am a size 14 and size 16 fits perfectly with room for layers underneath. I did not get too hot and have to undo the coat like I do with other coats. Kept me dry and comfortable walking up steep hills in the countryside, wrists fit well, hood fits well, top of my legs were dry with no restriction to movement, perfect, wish I could find one as good for my dog! Very smart smooth line, love the understated colour block style and shades of blue. Sale price was an added bonus, thank you Berghaus, well made and good quality AND good for the planet.

I am 5ft and it comes around my knee and i am all covered for a rainy day, You can buy a size up if you want to wear a jacket underneath for the winters , It is worth the price as it is durable and easy clean and maintain

Love the look and feel of the material, despite being shell material it is very smart looking with a deluxe feel.
Would recommend if you have a large chest order size bigger as this is the area the coat is tightest.
Overall, truly a lovely rain jacket that is expensive but worth it. Stylish, top quality and will last forever.

I wore it out in the rain this afternoon with the dog.
Really good to see the water just sat on top of the fabric. I’m looking forward to wearing it out in a heavy rainstorm. I have no concerns about it being up for the job where others have failed.

This coat is a lovely long length with some nice little details. Waterproof material but not too shiny and plasticky looking. Nice long arms so no drafty wrists in cold weather. The shape is very straight so i am a pear shaped size 18 and find this a bit too tight. Best to size up if you are bigger on the bottom half.
This womens jacket is lovely quality- the same usual standard from Berghaus. It is zipped and has a hood and it is lightweight and waterproof. The sizing is spot on and it fits nicely. I like that it is long line. Really good all round jacket for the not so cold weather.
A great quality waterproof shell jacket from Berghaus that comes in different colours and sizes, of which I picked Black in size 18 variant. It’s lightweight, well-designed, and nicely made. I’m 5’9″, this jacket fits me nicely and I especially love that it’s longer than a standard jacket.
The jacket is made with 100% recycled polyamide, with lasting water resistant and durable material, which makes an excellent outdoor performance to make you feel cool, dry, and comfortable during activities.
This jacket is great for folding up really little into a bag or even wearing as it’s not too thick or too thin and won’t take up too much space in your bag. Its fully two-way interactive zip will prevent water seepage and has a chin protector at the top of the zipper for safe wearing. The hood design provides more water resistant and windproof protection for the face. It’s built into the jacket, it would be nicer if it’s detachable though.
The thick elasticated at the end of the sleeve, under the main sleeve making you safe and secured from the rain seeping in or the wind.
Owing to the British weather, one must always have a good waterproof jacket available. At 110 (at the time of writing), the price does seem to be a bit on the expensive side but its premium quality is well worth the price tag.
All in all, a light, premium waterproof jacket that will keep you dry on cold rainy days.
This Berghaus coat is very stylish and sleek looking, very well made as I expected, light weight and doesn’t crease or wrinkle easily like other shell type macs do. It has a shell outer and 100% recycled Polyamide lining which will help to trap air to keep you either warm in Winter and cooler in the Summer.
The coat has a double cuff designwhich means it has an elasticated inner around your wrist to keep out the chills, this is fabulous as you will get a snug fit if you’re wearing gloves.
The coat is hooded with adjustable elasticated pull ties to keep it in place to protect the head from wind chill, the hood is also peaked at the front to keep the rain from dripping onto your face which is brilliant for people who wear glasses.
Another added benefit to the coat is that it has a zipped pocket at either side with a protection flap which will stop the rain seeping in and ruining anything you have in there like a phone or bus pass.
All the zipper ends have toggles on for those who have dexterity issues or cold hands to make things easier to open or fasten.
Overall this is a very practical coat that is exceptionally designed and highly recommend it.

Been a berghaus jacket I was only expe ting good things from this and it does not dissapoint.
It is a pricey jacket but it is made of quality and obviously price always goes up woth a big branded name when it has the good reputation like berghaus does.
I’m also really impressed about the use of recycled fabric in this jacket and the fact it doesn’t bring the quality down in any way infact I believe this is a big positive selling point.
The jacket is not to thick or heavy making it nice and compfortable to wear in the warm temperatures of spring/summer. This is a fitted jacket and shapes your body in a flattering way. However it is not thebwarmeat jacket so if you were wanting to use it in the colder months youbwoyld really need to wear something thicker and warmer under it so you need to order a size or two up to fit the thick winter jumpers under there.
This jacket looks smart and is perfect for evening occasions or even just for day to day use.
I have worn this on rainy days also its a great length to help keep your clothes dry in bad weather with this been waterproof.
This jacket is said to be machine washable which is fine however I deffinatly wouldn’t put it in the dryer.

This is a very fashionable, ‘Berghaus’ branded waterproof coat with a fashion price tag to match. This is really a summer coat as it does not have a warm lining, or any form of padding. It is long sleeved with an elasticated wrist on the inner lining, a hood that has elastic drawstrings at the front to and a hidden drawstring which goes around the middle of you head and is adjusted at the rear, this helps the hood to fit much better. The front is zipped and can be zipped up or down from the bottom or the top, this is backed up by an overlapping flap with Velcro fixings to keep the wind and rain out and a single press-stud at the bottom. It is full length; it goes down to just above my knees.
It’s a nice cool jacket for summer but being black, it soon warms up when the sun comes out, luckily it folds up into quite as small size which makes it easy to carry around for the next downpour.
I’m a size 10/12 and went for the 12, it fits very snugly with everyday clothes underneath, but maybe I should have gone one size up however with thinner summer clothes underneath it will probably be just the right size.
It is made from 100% recycled material, the outer 100% Polyester and has a 100% Polyamide inner lining, it is machine washable at low temperatures (30) and even iron on low heat.
It feels very soft and cool so defiantly for the wet UK summer. Looks very stylish and fashionable but with a premium price tag. Excellent quality and even the rabbit loves it. (See photo).

Its water proof which is handy and can be wiped.
I chose the black so it doesn’t show the dirt. It’s a long fit which is great as it offers you great protection on a wet day. It’s lightweight so great for the rainy summer days. It has a lining which feels pleasant against bare arms. Would order a size bigger if wanting to fit a warm layer underneath as it’s a snug fit, but it’s good to have a waterproof that offers a shapely style also. I like the double cuff, there is elastic as well as a longer cuff, there is nothing worse than the rain dripping down your wrist! Has zip pockets for keeping valuables secure. It’s good to know it’s made in a sustainable way.
This Berghaus women’s long length jacket is very well made, its up to the Berghaus quality that you expect from this brand. The only down side is its small fitting so whatever size you are go up one to get your fitting. It comes in 2 colours black or oil green, I got the black but its not a jet black. It comes in 7 different sizes so you should be able to match your fit. The Berghaus is an excellent brand and they are always expensive, this one is on par to other sellers on the market.
The first thing I though when trying this coat on was how flattering it is, there’s no doubt it’s a very nice waterproof.
I’m a 10-12 but always get a 12 in coats so there’s room for a jumper underneath, this is very slim fitting though so I should have got a 14. I did wear it with quite a thick jumper underneath to go to a picnic, whilst it did up it was a little more snug than I’d have liked, it’s fine with just a t-shirt underneath though.
There is no padded/fleecy lining in this so you probably do need the extra room for jumpers if you don’t want to be cold. This isn’t windproof and did nothing to keep me warm when I wore it out, I was dry though!
Sleeves are a little short on me but I am tall.
A fleecy lining built into this would have been amazing, as it is it’s overpriced in my opinio
This Berghaus jacket is top quality.
The fabric is excellent and fully waterproof. The zips and seams are all great. It’s breathable too.
The longer length is really good – my wife is 5ft 10in, so finds standard length jackets often aren’t long enough. The fit is flatteringly slim, though it’s a little small for size I would say, so if in doubt, order a size up.
The colour green is nicer than it looks online. I like the smart double cuff design too which hides the elasticated cuff. The hood is well designed too.
It’s a perfect summer jacket for exploring outdoors in dodgy weather.
I am so impressed with this coat, not least because of its eco credentials. It isn’t cheap, but on the basis that it is possible to have high performing waterproof clothes without creating environmental problems then it is incredibly good value. The quality is such that I expect it to last for years also.
I wore it on a late May, rainy, 13 degrees day for its trial run. The waterproofing was perfect and it was light to wear. As a size 14 it’s slightly snug around my midriff and bum, although it moved well with me, if you’d wear something like a thick top then I’d suggest going up a size. It feels lovely, like soft moleskin, and looks great. Very clean lines and a flattering shape – stylish. Being short, sleeve length is often a problem, but the inside of the sleeve is elasticated for weather protection so that has the bonus of acting like a sleeve suspender! I’ll need to fiddle with the hood to get it right for me as it would flip back a bit, but it is adjustable so that’s fine. The pockets are roomy and comfy to have your hands in when walking. The chin guard gives you plenty of room too, but watch your lipstick when first zipping it up! I think this would be perfectly proportioned for a more average to tall height, but it is adjustable where I need it to be, and with the caveat about considering a size up, I recommend without hesitation.
Very nice coat and smart looking too. However, something to note here is that the Berghaus women’s coats seem to be a bit on the small side. Wife usually has a 12, daughter a 10. This fits my daughter spot on so take that as an indication of size. My daughter has a Berghaus that she bought some time ago and that was the same – she had to get a size up.
Unlike most coats like this, it is noticeably fitted at the waist too so it doesn’t hang like a typical waterproof coat.

Outstanding quality, sturdy material for this waterproof jacket that fits comfortably and looks better on that it does in the.picture.
It has 2 zipped pockets on the sides, a hood with adjustable straps, and double zip light that can be open from the bottom.
It’s thin for in between seasons yet warm enough that protect from wind and rain.
The wrist are slasticated fitted inside.
It closes up also with velcro and push clips.
It has an outstanding finish and looks elegant.

The coat is a thin shell as opposed to a padded coat. So it’s more of a rain coat to be worn in the spring and autumn than a coat for the coldest months of the British winter.
I consider Berghaus to be a good, no-frills brand for quality of the manufacturing as well as the waterproofing. I consider it to be as good in terms of quality of the seams and its waterproof properties as The North Face (but just a bit more discreet in its styling than The North Face).
This is a great coat. My mother is very pleased with the jacket – and I am pleased that she has a waterproof that really will protect her from even heavy rain.
