Bosch Professional 18V System GSB 18V-28 cordless combi

I choose this item even though there were similar and at a slightly lower price but the 18V-28 seemed superior to the 18v-55. The box set comes with secure tamper proof banding tape , the 100 piece accessory set comes built into the case. The box accessory case and the main case have factory label seals. The drill worked straight out of the case. In simple terms I rarely use a cordless drill as my cheap drills were nearly always useless and over the years have held a poor charge for most of their existence. This Bosch drill on a low setting was more powerful than I could control even slowly with one hand and drilled through a piece of steel I thought only my mains drill could manage. I then tested on a 3″ screw that I couldn’t retrieve from a fence post and it did it easily. I then tried slowly screwing in small screws – great.
It has an led light when running. I placed the battery on charge which is easy to do and there is an unmistakable big green light that flashes as it quickly charges .
Accessory box , 2 batteries and a charger. 3 documents on safety but actually I didn’t find any info on actually using the drill and using it’s settings. It has 2 gear settings and if the drill starts clicking instead of screwing , unscrewing or drilling then put it on a tighter setting. I’m really impressed with its power and balance and I think I can use it for delicate fixings as well as things that need power.
Now I no longer have to worry about multiple extension leads for mains voltage drills while working on my fences and the risks that go with that. This drill will see me out.
