As a wet shaver most of my life, practicalities forced a transition to electric. Having resurrected my old Phili, and having to go over and over, this Braun is superior in all respects. Closer than ever shaves, faster, less time wasted. At less than 60, I’m pleased.
Your operation of the shaver is very good and very nice and quiet. The only downside is it has no edge trimmer just a foil action. So I have to keep my old series 3 to edge trim etc.
This shaver gives as good a shave as any electric shaver and much better than some. I like the interchangeable heads so it can be used as a trimmer, too. It seems quieter than other shavers. The battery charge lasts longer than other shavers I’ve owned, including Braun.
The only niggle is that the charger doesn’t like staying in the shaver socket in my bathroom. I have to check it to make sure it hasn’t fallen out.

It’s a very good electric razor dose what it says clean shave bought for my disable so
I have a light shave only. Users with this type of shave will find the shaver excellent. Having only used a week I can’t comment on durability but it seems fine.
From what I’ve read light users will get an excellent service.
This is the first electric razor I have used since I was 18 which is 40 years ago. The razor cut close and was easy to use it did not snag or struggle to cut my stubble. I have not used it wet yet or used water to clean it as the cutting head comes off easily and can be cleaned by using the brush and blowing the shavings out. It has a good battery life lasting well over a week on a full charge.
After using a clipper for ever to bald my head i wanted something that gave a closer shave and this is amazing.
Im black 30+ yr old with thicker hair and can’t believe how close of a shave this has accomplished, i was thinking i may need to just bite the bullet and go for the series 9 but I’m so glad i didn’t, i can’t imagine it cutting any closer than this so i defo made the right choice at a fraction of the price.
I still used to clipper to lower my hair and finished with the braun. Incredibly fast and easy, very comfortable to hold and cleaning was easy. Highly recommend.
It’s a convenient way of keeping whiskers under control. It doesn’t give as close a shave as you can easily get with a blade, but that probably doesn’t matter unless your’re getting close to a lady!
