Liked the prompt delivery! A very good printer and a perfect update to my old brother printer which lasted many years.
I threw out my old HP in anger after it failed me one time too many, it had been horribly expensive to run too the git.
I suspected that’s just what printers were these days, a glitchy con.
I was wrong.
I bought my new best friend. What a delight, a joy to be around and converse with, in fact every device that can print just does. First time. No drivers. No apps, just functional perfection
Double sided – boom!
Hopefully it’ll be the last one I ever have to buy
Once fully installed the printer is great to use. My only complaint is that you do need a printer cable but once it is fully running it is a dream.
Very happy with this printer, good quality build. Is fast and printing quality is grea
The instructions on how to link the printer to Wi-Fi and then devices to the printer are poor. I only resolved this by accessing independent sites for advice. Once up-and-running the printer is brilliant.
I didn’t know this brand before but it’s worth the money spent! Very easy to use and superfast with normal quality print (which is still very good),it takes a little longer if you select “fine” print but which machine doesn’t do that?
Best office equipment I ever bought.
This Brother one is ace, prints no problem. Easy to set up on mobile and PC. Used it to print 50 invites.
I have found the print and scan quality excellent. Other plus points include the fast first print times. No more waiting yonks while the printer decides to do a head clean. Works seamlessly from my phone.
Only down side I have found is that the cost of ink cartridges are a bit high. Hopefully compatible ones will reappear again.
This was replacing a previous Brother printer which I had had and it was well used for many years – so wanted another of the same make. It’s a good quality printer and easy to use
The most expensive printer I have bought. Got fed up buying HP cheapies, never worked properly. This Brother printer is really good , thought it would be too complicated for my old brain but was easy to install. The quality of the prints are very good as well.Very happy with it.
Quite a few problems setting it up, very different to my previous Epson and doesn’t always obey my “print” order leaving me with a long-winded approach to actual printing, the print head needed a good clean to start with, it is surprisingly fast but prone to paper jams.
Deduct one star for software, otherwise recommended. Liked: ink system and capacity, print quality.
Disliked: Small and complicated setup screen — too clever by half. Note to brother: keep it simple!
Like all new printers it takes a while to learn the way it works. As usual the method of doing everything is obvious to the designer and can be difficult to discover by the user. It is now an accepted part of the family.
I did worry that the three colour tanks on this device would produce an inferior photo print than the 4 (inc grey) on the Canon but surprisingly, I can’t detect any difference in quality. This is solidly built and includes plenty of ink (to last a year I seem to recall). The copier works quickly and well. Very difficult to fault if a bit pricey.
