Strong and easy to use. Shoulder straps are strong and make it comfortable to carry. Front pockets hold items that are easy to reach.
Bag is very roomy and holds loads!
Bought for a stag do flying with ryaniar where we were all too cheap to pay for luggage.
Fit perfectly under the seat and where the ryaniar staff were charging others they didn’t with me as it was the perfect size.
Good straps on the back as well making it comfortable to carry.
The bag is perfect for my jet set life style Lol! It’s a nice looking bag holds a surprising amount of stuff and fits perfectly under an airplane seat. I went with the Ryan air bag size so I can take it on most budget airlines ie easy jet and jet2. I’ve only used it once so I can’t say how it will hold up to a lot of use but so far so good. I’m happy with my purchase.
I am gobsmacked at first i doubt at the size of it coz it looks small then I am extremely surprised that it fitted 3 joggers 3 T-shirts 3 socks, pants and bras and a pj!!!!!! With bit of room to spare !
Great that it is the right size for Ryanairs cabin baggage, and you can fit quite a lot into it. Slightly wary about the strength of the zip, as there seemed to be a bit of trouble round the corners of the bag, but on the whole, it’s fine so far (have only used it twice though!)
Originally wondered how on earth I would get everything I needed for a 2night 3day away but with careful thought and packing I had everything I needed and also managed to buy 4 men’s T-shirt as gifts which also fit!
I’ve had this bag for two years now and it is excellent quality. Fits exactly ryanair requirements. I will never need to pay for priority boarding again. There is so much room that i’ve always had plenty of space left over for souvenirs. Definitely good value for money. It only takes three holidays to make the money back as priority boarding on ryanair is 6 each way. I really like that the straps are adjustable and comfortable.
Pack the case, and off you go, no longer needing to carry it on the seemingly longer and longer walk to and from the airport gates. So annoying they still put stairs along the way!!
I waited until I returned from my trip before reviewing this, I have not been disappointed. I traveled to Italy for 5 days and flew with Ryanair.
This back pack is deceiving and fits in so much more than I expected. I put together a capsule wardrobe with mix & match items and put them in a small vacuum bag – 2 x trousers, 1 x long skirt, 3 x tops, 5 x knickers and a swimsuit. I took 1 x pair of wedge sandals and bars of product to save on valuable liquid space. Headphones, airport bag of liquids and a small wash bag with other essentials.
The front pockets are great for documents and other little bits you want secured like make up brushes etc.
It is so comfortable to wear and compact that you still have plenty of space under the seat in front of you on the plane to stretch your feet out. There is no stress of rushing to the gate and queuing for ages to ensure you get your case above your seat, you can sit and watch everyone else queue then casually stroll to the plane at the end because your bag just goes under the seat in front of you.
Brilliant bit of travel kit, love it 🙂
Bought to use with EasyJet to comply with underseat regulations. Pleased with the bag as to weight, pockets and doubles as a rucksack. However the planned journey has not happened yet so cannot comment on my personal experience of using it yet.
I don’t often write reviews, but this bag deserves it! I just manaeged to fit ten pairs of socks/undies, ten t shirts AND a hoodie into this thing! I didn’t think i would get half of that in.
Super pleased
This is the SECOND one of these bags that I’ve bought from Amazon. Perfect size for under the seat in the plane, it fits a fair amount of items in it, and it’s not uncomfortable when you put it on. Nothing bad to say about it. Furthermore, my friend bought one in a different colour. The different patterns make it useful should you put them down and need to look for it.
Plenty of space in this bag for a few days away and with the straps can compress it for a longer trip if required.
Only criticism is the straps which are not very comfortable and I ended up carrying using the top handle.
Although yet to use this bag the size and design have greatly impressed me and I think this will be a great Cabin bag for my travels
The fact that it is made with recycled materials was another factor for my choice and I am very pleased so fa
The bag seems really well made and my wife is happy with the purchase, I ordered the same size for myself but I found it too small returned and went for the larger size
I came home to find the parcel on my doorstep (terraced house) when I went to my emails it said ‘handed to resident’
This should not be allowed to happen! Fortunately the bag the item came in had not been tampered with and the product looks good although I have not used it ye
Bought for hand luggage only Jet2 flight to Lanzarote (along with the CabinMax hand luggage cases). Such a clever design being opened like a case to give easy access to the main compartment. Plenty of internal zipped compartments and a front zipped pocket for e.g. travel documents. Side pocket for a water bottle is also very handy. I got the mango and bird of paradise designs for me and my partner. They are very eye catching. Adjustable straps and well padded back so they sit comfortably on a shoulder or fully worn as a back pack. Great capacity and with the adjustable side straps, easy to make even more compact to secure contents. Easily fits under the seat in front on a plane. So pleased with these purchases and will be great for day trips or other travel. Also used to carry heavy items back from the local supermarket when on holidayvery sturdy!
Great backpack – ideal for overnight stays. It is also great size for airline hand luggage
This isn’t really a smaller version of the larger cases in the range – the boxy pictures must have used styrene or similar to pack it out – it is just a small rucksack.
Which makes it quite expensive for what it is.
That said, we needed a bag that would fulfil Ryanair’s requirements for an under-seat bag and this fitted the bill.
Doesn’t have the quality of the bigger cases in the range, but not bad for a rucksack.
Lovely bag with plenty of room and pockets. Very sturdy and well made but if you’re looking at buying the one with the bird pattern, don’t expect it to actually have birds on. I’m full aware, it’s all dependant on the cut of material that you happen to receive but I’ve now ordered 3 of these and non of them have any of the colourful patter other than leaves
Used as hand luggage, loved inside pockets, sturdy straps and water bottle mesh pocket. The front pocket easy access for I.d, liquids bag & boarding card/tickets. Happy with, would buy agai
I went on holiday to Holland for a few days and used this for luggage and then as an ordinary backpack. Worked really well. Good product. A little heavier than I expected but sturdiness is good for travelling.
Plenty of compartments and perfect size for plane travel.
Very good quality.
Ok if you not walking to far, they can get uncomfortable when walking a long distance
went to pack for our trip and noiced small holes
Was able to get in what i wanted for my trip.
It worked well for one trip and the rectangular shape meant you could maximise packing. I got enough for 5 days in here, including aero press coffee maker.
If you really rammed the front pocket full I don’t think it will fit the Ryan Air bag checker. The straps and buckles may not cope with the strain either = but be sensible and it will serve you well.
The little front ‘passport’ pocket was fiddly to access so better to put your documents in your own pocket.
If you fly Budget Airlines a lot buying this beats paying baggage fees.
Perfect for any one always going on holiday as cabin bag, very big can get quite a lot of things i
You can fit loads in and it’s much more accessible than a rucksack
Really comfortable to wear as great padding etc; also the different pockets help divide belongings up for travelling and to stop things sliding around when on holiday with just a few items in it. V happy!
I am delighted that I bought this cabin luggage back pack at last I have found a carry on luggage that is excepted by major air lines with out the worry of will it will it not fit in to there size requirements great purchase
This bag fits a lot in and fits under the seat on easy jet planes (as long as you don’t overfill it). Used for a two week trip.
Only downside is that it’s quite uncomfortable to carry on your back for more than 5-10 mins, ideally a bag this size would have a waist strap to take some of the load off the shoulders.
As other reviews mention the shoulder straps are also quite short. This wasn’t an issue for me as I’m only 5’2 but I imagine it would be uncomfortable for taller people.
I haven’t used it just yet, bought it for my first solo trip. You’re definitely getting what you’re seeing in the description. Upon first glance I thought oh my it’s so small, but there’s so many compartments for all your things, and you can see how it will open up for you to fit your clothing. A tiny bit worried about the zips/seams when i pack, i’ve seen some reviews + photos where the zip “separates” if that makes sense.. it busts? but as mentioned i haven’t packed it yet. I think it’d be best for trips that span over a week long period anything more than that and you’d be needing more room.
The bag feels strong, sturdy, one major main compartment and two zipped compartments at the front. The zips are well made and glide nicely around the bag. The back of the bag is padded and sticks out a little bit for that added comfort. I was able to pack 4 outfits, 1x pair of boots and headphones, ipad, accessories for 3 nights away. My only annoyance so far is that the bottom straps to adjust the shoulder straps get really loose and one side came completely out as I was picking my bag up through security at the airport. I packed bulky and felt a little concerned but I measured the bag before leaving for the airport and the sizes were correct. I kept my bag on my shoulder and the attendant didn’t notice, but as you can see in the photo it fits nicely under the seat and that’s with space to fit more clothes!! Definitely worth buying for the extra space from a regular backpack.
I used this bag for a 2 night/3 day trip and had plenty of space for all my things. I wasn’t challenged by easyJet about the size, and it fitted well under the seat in front of me. I really like all of the zips and pockets in the front flap section, great for small items like keys and cables. Only issue I found was the padded section of the strap is quite short so when it was fully loaded the woven part and buckle started to dig into my shoulders after a while. It would benefit from a chest strap which would help this as the back tipped backwards away from my shoulders. Overall good for short trips but not great for if you have to carry it for any length of time when fully loaded.
Very impressed with this carry on, fitted what I needed and more if I wanted to.
Design is good and very sturdy, lot’s of compartments for smaller items. Very pleased.
Would highly recommend this backpack
Fantastic, lightweight with ALL the different compartments. Can’t believe how much you can actually fit in it.
Just right to get a spare pair of jeans, spare shoes, a few undies/socks, a few t-shirts, a wash bag, charger etc, so ideal for a weekend away, if you pack light. Lots of nice pockets… if you need them.
Saves having to pay for a cabin bag, and was so easy to carry as a rucksack….
I didn’t have any issues with the backpack at all..
I bought this after finding out that Easyjet had changed their luggage restrictions. It fits great under their seats, but to be on the side side I didn’t overstuff it. I still packed enough for a 3-night hen do in Paris, so it did the job!
Did exactly what I needed it for on a short 4 day holiday ,highly recommended it !
Perfect for my needs. Plenty of package space for my needs for a week long trip and fits perfectly under the airline seat as required.
Very happy with this purchase which will be a travel companion for many more adventures
Perfect as a cabin bag, well made, lots of different pockets, easy to wear. Really pleased with it, especially as it opens like a book giving easy access.
Brilliant, light, roomy backpack, which I will use with compression travel bags. Really great quality. It would be good to have (as standard) a strap which can secure the bag over a suitcase handle – but this, for me, was a better option of bag compared to those which do have the strap. Looking forward to getting away more often!
Dislike nothing, I am really chuffed with this item. My design is fabulous and even though I thought it was bit bulky, I wasn’t asked to put it in cabin bag size checker, as its proper size. I would highly recommend this product.
Its a surprise just how big a bag you can fit under the seat in front of you, I had plenty of space for what I wanted to put in it which included laptop.
It could do with a couple of smaller pockets all of these are full length so trying to root around to get passport out is a bit of a pain but outweighed by the benefits of this.
You probably have to be careful if you really fill it that it might not then fit in the Easyjet bag sizer but I’m happy with it and its held together well after two recent trips.
I bought 3 of these to fit Ryan Air bag size (summer 2022). They are perfect. We used them for a two week holiday and had plenty of space. Myself and husband travel light. Our 17 year old daughter needed different swimwear and clothes for almost every day and managed…just! The straps on the side to compress work well. Good quality.
Cabin Max 30 Orange..
Firstly it’s NOT orange it’s a light red, but if you look at it at night, with the light on it’s orange.
I brought the Max 30 from Amazon, it’s cheaper than eBay with free shipping.
The bag is very light and unsupported around the sides, fold or roll goods before packing.
The handle is well made but needs to be placed on the long side. When left upright the bag is top heavy. The zip has a cover which surrounds 3/4 of the bag – I would prefer it without because it makes zipping difficult when full. The straps, which are attached to the zip could damage the zip and render the bag useless (Don’t over tighten). Overall the bag is well made and perfect for Easy Jets maximum allowance. I brought it because being a man in my 50s, I couldn’t miss place the bag.
Well thanks for reading this and happy travels.
Perfect size for your easy jet under seat luggage allowance, just don’t stuff it like turkey.
Good bag for those short trips on the low cost airline bookings.Lots of pockets to keep things segregated and lots of capacity for slightly larger items such as shoes.very satisfied overall
Had to buy a couple of carry-on compliant bags for my partner and me, who had flights on both easyJet and Ryanair over Christmas. To avoid buying two new bags each for both airlines, we got this one (my partner was happy to risk it on Ryanair) and a small holdall style bag. This one has great organisation and the zips didn’t seem stretched when we packed the bag full. The fabric itself is fine, has a cheap look and feel but it’s strong. The major downside for me is that it’s so uncomfortable to carry that it stopped the blood circulation in my arms – because it has no structure or support you have to pull it tight towards your back otherwise it pulls you backwards, but by doing this the straps around my arms became too tight. It may just be my smaller frame (UK8, 5’4″), as my partner didn’t feel this way (XL, 6’3″) and has used the bag several times since.
Also because it has no structure it’s very easy to overpack beyond the dimensions of what the airlines allow.
Overall I’m still glad I returned a Cabin Max bag of the same style which was 3-4 times the price, for this one. For the price definitely worth a try.
Good for Easyjet under seat luggage. Packed it with heavy items, no problem. I expect a zip will fail eventually, they usually do, but so far ( one journey) very pleased with it.
Hubby needed a bag for his travels as his old bag was beginning to look tired and weak. He loves it and he says it was worth the money I spent. He loves the colour.though I don’t think it looked as bright as the one pictured. He’s used it twice so far so as for how it holds out is to be seen.
Worked well in terms of keeping to luggage limit on Easyjet. Felt really comfortable to wear on my back and the straps are fully adjustable.
The main issue is it is not waterproof at all. It rained when I arrived and after a 10 minute walk, every item of clothing I had brought was wet. Make sure you use an inner plastic bag or waterproof compression bag for your clothes if you purchase this.
The other pockets are impractical for everyday use, I’m not sure why they put pockets that way up in the front compartment, as everything slides out of it when you lay it down on a bed or desk. As the zips of the main compartment go all the way down, the front pocket is turned upside down if the bag was opened while upright or on a hook. In this position everything would immediately fall out of these small pockets inside. This made it impractical for dividing up toiletries or small items or using it as a bag to ‘live out of’ while travelling.
So far it has not broken, after a short trip. I’m not entirely confident in its sturdiness, but for the price it did the job.
It is a decent backpack, HOWEVER, if you are purchasing it just due to the limitations on under the seat cabin bag, please note that it will fit into the gauge only when it is half-flat-filled. If you fill it to the max, it will be a bit over the limit and you MAY get asked to pay for extra luggage. Didn’t happen to me, but I guess if the flight attendant was in a more picky mood, it might.
Other good things about it:
– quality fabric
– it can hold a lot of stuff (if you are not limited or using it for plane travel)
– useful dividers inside of the middle pocket
– it is indeed lightweight on its own
What could be better:
– there could be some fortification on its base to make it a bit sturdier
– there could be one more net pocket on the side
– there is no headphones/charger eyelet
But overall, I’d recommend it.
