J’sais, c’est un accessoire qui fait gagner beaucoup de temps en post production vido . L’objet est trs compact . On regrettera deux choses: le prix excessif, et la qualit de fabrication avec des plastiques, de trs mauvaise facture et une charnire capricieuse qui, mon avis, risque d’tre le point d’usure et de cassure pour un usage dans le temps
It is annoying how pricey these colour reference pallets are, I do understand they are a speciality calibrated tool but still 😛
That said it is clearly well made, apart from the way the hinge works it really looks premium and you’re getting “something” for your money, what would have been nice though is to have designed into it a mounting point, such as a 1/4″ thread so that as a one-man shooter, you could set up your shots more easily.
It took me a while to finally pull the trigger on this but I was fed up with the guesswork of getting a shot to look correct, this takes out the guesswork for the most part. After using it for a number of shoots I wouldn’t go without one. Of course, being passport sized it does fall short for wider or longer shots, it’s mostly useful for interviews and the like. I suppose down the line I’ll end up forking out for the A4-sized version as well…
If you’re on the fence, shoot professionally (or want to) and find yourself second-guessing your colours, this is likely your answer (or at least part of it 😛 )
I don’t know if this is designed to be stiff to open and close, but time will tell. Once opened and in position, it operates as needed.
However, the fact that such stiff cheap plastic hinges were used on this make me livid. To charge so much (and additionally charge MORE because it’s the passport model) for something that feels like it will snap in half every time I open it is infuriating. You guys can seriously do better for your customers.
Have used these on set before and they’re great for a reference when colour grading. Have always wanted my own but my copy seemed super hard to open and felt overly tight. Support recommended I return it which I did but will definitely pick up another soon. Recommended if you’re serious about colour grading.
Perfetta,sia nelle dimensioni che nella qualit. Robusta e colorimetricamente precisa. Un prodotto di qualit anche se a caro prezzo. Forse l’unica pecca la mancanza di una custodia

This color checker takes all the guess work out of color grading by eye, and after you use it, you won’t want to go back to eyeballing your color grading and white balance ever again. Ultimately I see it as a huge time saver, and my time is worth more than the price of this important tool. I highly recommend it.

The color checker made color grading my videos so much easier. I’m using it with Finale on FCP. Why did I wait so long to buy it?
It’s not just for getting multiple cameras to look similar. It helps to always get the best exposure, white balance, and saturatio
Great quality product, does what it is supposed to do.
I can only speak to what my son has mentioned. He loves it! He has tried it a few times and said the color balance, accuracy are “awesome” can speak to the brightness.
