Amazing washing machine!! I was a little bit nervous at first before using new washing machine but was well impressed how simple it was to use and so many different cycles to use too..love this machine!!

Been using only for a few months but so far so good. Haven’t used the smart touch option but others might find this useful. This washing machine has plenty program options but can be a bit complicated so I’m always referring to the instruction booklet. The machine looks great and well designed. a couple of small gripes though. The cover for the filter at the bottom is very difficult to open and could easily break as its quite flimsy plastic. The biggest problem though was the length of the waste hose which meant I had to spend extra money on an extension kit. If it wasn’t for those two little problems I would have given 5 stars.

Only thing I don’t like about this is if you try to use the app it only tells you what settings you need to use instead of actually sending the wash to the machine like the dryer does

Needed new machine ASAP and wanted a large drum. This is a great machine. Every program you could need and some you didn’t know you needed but you do, trust me. 4 options for quick wash, a cycle for trainers and takes a double extra thick mattress topper in the 10kg drum.

Great sized washing drum.Very easy to use.
I have only used tbe short ecenomy wash so far but very happy with how clean my clothees have come out and also the washing is spun so well it has dried on tne line quite quickly.
The only possible issue is the door handle is plastic so not sure how robust it will be.

Spin is decent and fairly quiet.. for the money it’s a nice machine!

Soap draw is quite short .. not sure why makes it s bit fiddly but it’s fine!

Delivered and installed expertly at the stated time. Machine tested and worked correctly. Three washes in and I am impressed by how well it works, how quiet and economical. Controls take a bit of mastering but not insurmountable. The bad side is the pressure to buy an extended warranty at 5.40 a month for 10 years cover with a threat of 145 call-out charge if not bought. There is Hard sell on internet registration and followup phone calls. 5.40 a month for 10 years is 648 which is more than double the price of a new machine. If I wanted to buy insurance I would have done my own research. Because of this I have rated the purchase at 4 stars.

This washing machine is perfect in every way although I’m still getting used to the programs , I haven’t and don’t intend using the app program , the 10kg leaves enough room for movement with king size duvet bed sheet and 4 pillow cases , the cost I’m definitely happy with and also paying 21 for all removing my old taking I think away and fitting my new one , the two fitters were excellent and went above and beyond so I highly recommend and delivery from ordering was only 2 days

So far so good – I paid extra for my old one to be taken away and new one plumbed in. The guys did a good job and seemed very quick and easy. So far I have done 2 loads : one cotton, one Synthetics, and both have worked well.
The manual does not state this anywhere I can see, but would be good to know: when the cycle has ended, the panel shows a code of “56Y” or “S6Y”I thought it was an error code and was pulling out my hair, but after googling, it actually stands for “Standby” and this code will always show when the cycle has ended and you have not yet turned machine off. Would have been good to know!!

Also worth noting – there was a fairly big dent in the front when it arrived – the guys pointed it out to me. I personally don’t mind too much, but you might.

I wish the dial was numbered and then it explained what the numbers meant because with the little pictures next to the dial it’s hard to remember what some of them are for. They are all put in the manual, but it’s annoying to get the manual out everytime you want to use a different setting on the washing machine. Other than that it’s a nice big size drum and is perfect for my family. Had no issues with it so far. So fingers crossed it works how it is now for many many years to come.

First of all I’ve never liked candy brand names going years back but the cost of living etc and for the price is machine was I took a pun and bought one first of all this is a fantastic machine and value for money it’s easy to use and even using the app is great too great programs with three quick washes so clothes are done in no time some people have said it’s noisy but think it’s down to the acoustics in your room the only down side for me is the liquid draw feels really cheap but that’s all so if you are on a tight budget try this machine. Also the delivery men who delivered it was fantastic too took care from van to the house

The machine works well , easy to use and pleased with it. Good value for money. Smart appearance.
However , I bought this washing machine for my son & I paid extra for the service to have the machine installed & the old one taken away.
This did not happen. The men delivering refused to connect the machine & would not take the old one away.
It made what should have been a happy time very stressful & caused a lot of anxiety for both of us. Very disappointed that the service as described did not happen. I was not charged for the extra service that I had requested.

Its a lovely washer, leaves the washing smelling lush, only down fall for me was it says WiFi enables wich I assume people would think can use around the home, but that’s so wrong, every wash you use with WiFi enabled you have to scan it like you do when u pay for something in a shop wich was a massive let down for me, also when unbowed there was a dint in the bottom right corner.

Bought to replace 17-year-old Candy and happy with this machine so far.

But not at all happy with the warranty registration process, which involves third-party insurance company Domestic & General – who have the most atrocious online reviews.

The extended 10-year warranty offered FOC is for parts only, excluding the “card” – which is the master circuit board. Does that mean this expensive component is prone to failure and has an inherent flaw known to the manufacturer?

After registration, I was bombarded with pressure sales calls trying to upgrade me to full parts and labour guarantee – cost 145!

Extended warranties are well-known to be a consumer rip-off, so are Candy looking after their customers’ best interests by involving a data-harvesting insurance company?

Consumers have statutory rights, which apply well beyond the first 12 months on electrical goods costing several hundred pounds. If the “card” – or any other costly component – on my washer should fail prematurely, I’ll be off to the small claims court without further ado. And I’d advise others to do likewise.

Shame on you, Candy. I registered my warranty at service.candy-domestic.co.uk, not with Domestic & General.

After several pressure sales calls, I deregistered and had my personal details removed under data protection legislation.

Wouldn’t recommend bothering with the utterly pointless App either. Waste of time, and another component to go wrong.

I have to admit this is the second machine, the first was delivered so badly damaged I refused to even let it in the house. Another week later another one turned up. Delivered by two nice guys who I had a job too understand, because they were not English and I am partly deaf and lip read. But they made a good job of instaling it. Now I had two weeks of washing lurking, and in the first two days I did six loads, thank goodness it was hot drying weather. (Heat wave.)
I have tried out several of the programs and found them all fine and as they say in the book. I would recomend you read the instruction book, the selection of programs requires a little study. I have not yet attemped to conect my smart phone, I don’t feel smart enought, But my daughter is coming to show me. I have to say I am very happy with the machine and it performs as expected, I can’t say any thing about it’s noise, for the reasions I have given. I will point out I live a lone so no deeply soiled cloathes, but all the washing I have done is perfect. So I have to say I am very pleased with it. One point, there is a bit that is meant to go on the bottom of the machine, but the instalers didn’t put it on, and because of the comucation problems I have no idea why. It seemed to be a black sheet of material and go’s on the underside of the machine, I think I should have asked amazon, they are always so good about things, but I didn’t Ho Hum.

Has lots of programs and it’s easy to adjust temperature and spin speed on all thd programs which is great. The smart feature is absolutely pointless though. You need to download an app, then within the app you select the program you want, change spin speed and temp if required (the same as you can do on the machine) and then take your phone to the machine and touch the phone onto the front panel! It’s not an app that connects over WiFi, or even Bluetooth it’s NFC the same as your contactless cards. You have to physically touch the machine. So just might as well do it all on the machine in the first place. I’m not tech shy, I have apps for absolutely everything but this is the most pointless sone yet.

Our last washing machine was on the verge of failing so we needed a replacement quickly. Our choice for this model was mainly being driven by price and availability; ideally we would have gone for a model with a better energy class as this has an E rating which isn’t great.

First off I thought the service superb, the extra cost for removal of the old machine and fitting of the new one well worth it, and I found the fitters professional, polite and efficient, with the whole process complete in less than an hour.

We have had the machine now for around two months with it doing an average of two loads a day having no issues at all. The controls are simple and instructions easy to follow. The machine in my opinion is quite noisy but we have been more than happy with its washing performance.

Overall a lower end budget machine which does a good job of washing, it is on the noisy side, and has an energy class of E which means it will cost more to run and not as good for the environment as a better rated machine. I found the fitting and removal service superb and would recommend this machine if you are budget limited as was our case.

First of all , I have never bought a washing machine via amazon before, always Curry’s. Changed this time as almost 30 cheaper recycling old and installation new service provision via amazon, MUCH shorter wait time for free delivery ( 3 days as opposed 10) and ofcourse similarly competitive prices for machine itself.
The delivery was great..I wanted free delivery so had a 12 hour slot but you are rung 30 mins before delivery and can track delivery van so I knew when it would be . 2 very nice Brazilian guys removed old machine, installed the new and removed all packaging in less than 15 minutes . They were polite and cheerful.
I had a backlog of washing so did 2 cycles yesterday on day of arrival. One using rapid 44 min cycle of moderately grubby stuff, other jeans cycle, this morning a synthetic cycle that weighs the clothes to make as efficient a wash as possible. All have cleaned the clothes well. I like the fact I can reduce the temperature and spin for all programmes . I use 20 mostly , occasionally 30. Not noisy and even.when on 1400 spin ( jeans ) the machine didn’t jump forward and the noise was acceptable..I like the way I can see how long a cycle will be and how much time is left.
Just really impressed…the machine but also Amazon’s delivery / service package for an item like this.

Tried desperately to get a replacement for my Samsung as repair would cost more than I paid for the machine new. Be warned – samsung is fine if its under warranty or extremes warranty. If the pcb board goes as apparently they are prone to do, you will be in the same boat as I was.

On Friday I tried everywhere to get a quick delivery on a new machine but simply couldn’t (Christmas, covid, you name it – all made it impossible.

Then I looked at amazon. Found this Candy and decided this time to go with a brand that has a good reputation for washing machines.

I paid 21 to have my old machine taken away with wrapping from new one, and the new one installed. Delivery was set for Monday and, if I’m honest, I was expecting to be left down on that.

So when I got a text from Amazon at 07:19 on the Monday, telling me they would be there in 30 mins I was relieved and surprised. Yes it meant they would be here whilst we were trying to get ready for school but we could manage.

Well readers, at 8:00 a.m. my new machine was in and on its test wash and the Amazon guys were on their way to their next job.

The machine looks lovely in situ and certainly the spin is quieter than I expected. Very happy and would definitely recommend giving amazon a go for household appliances. Curry’s and AO beware!
