Personally I find this fine. I bought it new at 199. The Bluetooth transfer of images works fine and it has taken some good pictures. Clearly a dedicated camera will be better, but this fits in your pocket and makes a useful monocular too! I have no regrets at all.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is the ideal camera to carry around if you want to see things further away and photograph them.
The range is very good, you can use the device to see signs without having to walk 100s of yard up the road.
Or you can take a photo of a licence plate to keep a record, or video something without having to get too close.
Image stabilization is good with far away objects but does depend on how steady your hands are too.
It is relatively easy to use, but you have to remember where the buttons are, I keep pressing the off button rather than the video record button.
Image quality is very good even at distance. There is the noise of the zoom working on the video recording but not an issue other wise.
    Better than using binoculars IMO.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersIdeal to carry around in your pocket and zoom in on birds and other distant objects. Initially setting the camera up and the bluetooth connection are a little tedious and slow but the photographic results, when viewed on a tablet or computer are excelle

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersJust what I wanted. To have a reasonable monocular (9 x) and the ability to capture and stabilise the image. When the zoom photo is combined with the phone’s ability to digitally zoom a further 10x, although the image is poor at this level, it is quite an extraordinary thing to have. I have abandoned my binoculars and monoculars and just carry this. Disadvantages are the need to always use the dedicated charger, the battery life if used for more than an hour is poor, but all in all, I love i

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersCanon is a good and trustworthy camera producer so I was so happy to see this Zoom camera was available. This is a kit including essential items you need: camera, micro SDcard and power charger. The camera is small size and lightweight so you can easily put it into your pocket. It is white finish nice and stylish. It has very strong focal length maximum 800mm. But it is digital zoom so the photo quality is not very good. 400mm is quite long distance anyway. It can be monocular as well as camera so it is very convenient for the people who likes hiking and observing birds and so on. The photos quality are not as good as DSLR but good enough. Just so convenient to use. The price is a bit high but the kit is 298.12 on sale so it is reasonable currently. I am looking forward to traveling and using this for my holiday after the pandemic.

    Very convenient zoom camera

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersPhotography is a hobby of mine and has been for quite some time. I like to take pictures of landscapes, wildlife and occasionally street photography. The hard thing about capturing wildlife like birds for example, they hardly ever stay still and you need to be from a distance so they wont fly away. This is where this camera is most useful, at distance with the brilliant zoom and responsive auto-focus.

This was my first time using a monocular and also my first time testing out a camera like this. Unlike other cameras this one has a specific purpose and even though it is for taking pictures it is also great for viewing. If you are an avid birdwatcher this is the camera for you. It fits inside your pocket, is quite simple to use and the zoom is incredible. With a max focal length of 400mm capturing shots from distance is not a problem and when zoomed in all the way the picture quality is very good. This camera would be great for someone who is not too techy. With just a few buttons to operate even someone with no camera know-how will be able to pick this up and start using it right away. The size of this camera also make it perfect for travelling with as it is compact and quite lightweight.

Overall this is a very good camera and fills a particular niche which also makes it quite unique. The essentials included are a nice addition meaning that this is everything you need to get started. I have used Canon cameras for years and never been disappointed and I should imagine you will not be either if you decide to purchase.

Golden Review Award: 28 From Our UsersI really don’t know why people are so critical of this pocket zoom -ok the price is high but then any new idea is expensive when it first comes out -take a look at the photos and judge for yourself the three photos of the church show the zoom range optical 100-400-digital 800. Try carrying a load of camera equipment around with you to get 400-800mm as easily as this canon zoom. ok the quality wont match your big expensive DSLR but then you know that -that’s not what its for -its for carrying in your pocket for those quick easy snaps -i’ve had plenty of cameras in my time ranging from medium format to APS sensor cameras but for me the fun factor of this canon and the fact I can grab a quick unobtrusive shot outweighs the disadvantages –good lighting is a must and as long as you bear that in mind this is a great pocket monocular/camera. Ok it doesn’t come with a micro sd card that but wont break the bank will it? -Just get a Sandisk 32 class 10 and away you go -it doesn’t also come with a mains charger which again is not a deal breaker considering your expensive iphone 12 doesn’t come with one and many phones these days are not supplied with one –get the Anker Wall Charger USB C, 30W 2-Port Compact USB C Charger with 18W Power from amazon -job done -you don’t need to buy the canon one. Ignore the negative reviews which complain about no memory card and no charger -the camera is what matters and for me it takes great snaps easily and fits in my pocket so its always with me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely pocket camera/monocula

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersNice pocket size camera/videp recorder. It has 3 levels of zoom, 100mm and 400mm that are optical and 800mm digital. There is small level of customisation, but for most part of it work like point and shoot. So far I mainly use it for birds and wild animals (dears) photography, plus some garden video recording of territorial “fights” between neighbours cat and crows nesting in nearby tree.
Quality of image is reasonable, but do not expect to be anything close to any telephoto lenses. Nevertheless good device if you go for walks.

The only thing I did not really liked is that it comes with not the best wrist strap and it does not have any case to store it in as not to scratch front of the camera.
