Trs beau gilet de cette emblmatique marque de vtements de travail, gilet de trs bonnes qualits, toile asser rigide, doublure matelasser, une grande poche intrieure ct droit, 2 grandes poches plaqu devant doubl pour avoir les mains au chaud, cole ctel qui protge bien la nuque du vent, le pan derrire est un peu plus long que devant pour bien protg le bas du dos quand on se baisse, fermeture clair l’anglaise(zipp droite) bien robuste,par contre je rejoins les commentaires concernant la taille, ces modles sont de gamme carhartt workwear et non streetwear c’est dire que les modles taille bcp plus grand que les tailles europennes pour mon gabarit (voir mensurations plus haut) le M me convient trs bien,je peux le port sur un sweat shirt sans tre trop serr, si vous voulez le port plus fitte avec juste un tee-shirt prenez S.
Received vest quickly and packaged well from Amazon. Purchased via Amazon Warehouse with condition advertised as “like new”, but marked down to just below half the price for the new version. Mine arrived precisely as if it were new and grabbed off the rack at a store. I see some people complaining the vest is stiff. Do your research people, this version is supposed to be! If you want a softer material choose a different style “duck”, I recommend looking at the Carhartt website that will explain it to you. I’m 6’1″, 247lbs and with just a hoodie underneath I am happy with the fit of the XL size I ordered. This is the epitome of Carhartt quality I’ve come to expect over the years heavy duty zipper, thick material, heavy stitching and just the right amount of insulation to fend off the bitter upstate NY winter mornings. Highly recommend adding this one to your rotation!
Trs bon produit je l’ai pris en taille M il fait 56cms de tour de poitrine, j’aurais avoir eu cette info avant de l’acheter,s’est pourquoi je donne la mesure, pour aider d’autres acheteurs ,la veste est solide,bien rembourer, qualit carhartt au top ! Je pse 97 kg, et la taille M me serre un peu, mais sa passe bien quand mme pour un 90 kg s’est le top,pour un 100 kg il faut imprativement la taille L

The quilting makes the vest. I looked all over for one that was quilted like my old one. I had it for 10+ years. Nice and warm. No retailer near me could provide me with this quality. The zipper is of high quality. I wear an XLT – EXTRA LARGE, and Tall and this vest fits awesomely. The canvas it is made of is what I expect from a Carhartt clothing thick and tough. Good Quality and worth the money.

Die Weste fllt gro aus, das sollte man wissen. Ich werde diese im Winter ber einer karierten Holzfllerjacke tragen, deshalb strt mich die Weite nicht.
Was sehr schn ist, ist das gesteppte Innenfutter und die mit Klett verschliebare Innentasche.
A propos, es wre wnschenswert, wenn auch die Auentaschen verschliebar wren.
Was mich tatschlich etwas irritiert ist die Steifigkeit zu Beginn, das wird aber aus meiner Erfahrung besser, genau wie der Geruch. Also unbedingt waschen!
Fazit: Wer Carhartt kauft, der erwirbt Arbeitsbekleidung. Preis- Leistungsverhltnis sind vllig OK. Wer etwas mehr sucht sollte zu den Klamotten von WALLS greifen, die ich noch aus meiner Zeit als Pferdebesitzer kenne und schtze.
Bin vom Kreuz/ Oberkrper her nicht die schmalste Person und habe daher die Weste in Gre L gewhlt.
Sie sitzt relativ entspannt und man hat immer noch genug Platz darunter, um einen Pullover oder Hoodie zu tragen.
Der Stoff wirkt sehr robust und qualitativ hochwertig, auerdem hlt sie gut warm und man kann sich darin gut bewegen.

Lo ho preso preso per mio marito per farli un regalo. Arrivato in due giorni, gilet bello e di buona qualit, fodera resistente per ogni tipo di lavoro. Purtroppo leggendo le recensioni ho preso una S troppo piccolo, poi cambiato per una L troppo grande. Sicuramente la M sar quella giusta. Il stesso giorno che hanno ritirato il reso ( 2giorni) mi e arrivato il cambio. Super veloci.
Adesso aspetto la M per lui e sicuramente lo comprer anche per me. Consiglio il acquisto di questo capo.
so the sizing is on the larger side. I already have a vest from Carhartt W.I.P. which is aimed at the European market. Same size (L), but this one was 20-30 cm larger in the waist.
I ordered this product as found this seller had the best price. When it arrived, it was actually a bigger fit than expected. Returning this back to the seller was very easy (and free) I was kept updated via messaging and had a new size sent back out in a few days, which now fits perfectly. Great product and great seller.
Carhartt doesn’t need much of an introduction… this is reasonably heavy but very durable fabric, with just enough insulation to add warmth without the puffy Michelin-man appearance. The zipper is also fairly heavy-duty without being cumbersome, and the vest fits fairly close to the body (over a sweatshirt). Nice pockets, and easy to get at — with no spangley do-dads or other fashion bobbles hanging off the vest. Not the least expensive vest, but certainly one of the higher quality and durable ones.
My wife bought me this vest as a birthday present last autumn and I love it. Last winter, unless it was raining, I wore this all the time and it kept me warm enough with a sweatshirt, Carhartt of course, underneath. I usually take xxl but xl was big enough. As with all Carhartt stuff, its made to last. Highly recommended.
We found 3 on Amazon in size med. that still had the fantastic metal zipper.
When we discovered that they have now decided to use plastic on these heavy duty wonderful work best we were very disappointed. We bought all 3. That will take my husband to retirement age I hope Carhartt changes their minds about this decision. The world definitely doesn’t need or want more plastic. Carhartt is our go to brand for work , We have a closet full of this sturdy brand .
Having spoken to their very helpful customer service team and organised an exchange I’m happy to say that the sizing issue has been resolved. At time of review I have sent the prepaid package back and awaiting the newer, larger vest. Would recommend their shop.
Guys, listen to your moms and wives, don’t wash it on hot and put in the dryer.

Excellent quality , I’m usually a large but medium fits me perfectly. It is stiff at first but they soon wear in . Arrived before estimated delivery, very pleased with my purchase

All in order, but ordered a Medium and it’s what I would normally call XL. Not fit to size, but that’s just the beauty of online shopping

The quality of this vest is outstanding and it seems very durable. The zipper is heavy duty. The front pockets are good sized and warm. The vest itself is really warm. I live in Kentucky and it’s been kind of a mild winter. I’m warm natured but I’ve worn just the vest and a short sleeve shirt most of the winter. At work I’ve had to drive a forklift for a little over an hour at around 35-45 and with a thin shirt, the vest and gloves and a sock hat, I was plenty warm. Also, with the front pockets you get 2 layers of duck and 2 layers of insulation which adds a lot of warmth.
This vest is really awesome and if it shrank much, I would buy a bigger size and have it tailored to fit, that’s how much I like it.
The only negative things I can say is the way that carhartt cuts their clothes the sizing can be difficult if you have an athletic build. That is still an issue with this vest but not nearly as bad as other carhartt I’ve tried. The other issue I’ve noticed is with rigidity of the duck fabric. While seated, if you’re wearing the vest and it’s zipped up, the vest gets pushed up to wear the collar is above your jaw and the bottom of the arm holes starts digging into your arm pits. Even if you pull the zipper down a quarter of the way, it’s still a problem. It may get better with washing but I don’t know because I haven’t washed mine yet. Even with those negatives, I still think the best is awesome. If you wanted to wear it all the time while driving, like as truck driver, and need to have it zipped, it might not be for you.
This is a great product, very hard wearing and warm. Can’t really go wrong with carhartt gear – always top quality and well made. More than you would have to pay in the states for same item,but fair price for the UK. I would also highly recommend the vendors, very fast delivery.
