When I started astronomy I didn’t listen to articles that said to buy binoculars. If you don’t have a good set of binos, you’re missing out. I think that the Andromeda galaxy, Eagle Nebula, Lagoon Nebula, and many of the open clusters look better through these binoculars than my 5″ telescope. I don’t notice color aberrations or misshapen stars. I got them for $200 during Prime Days.

Die Verarbeitungsqualitt ist ganz gut. Abberation konnte ich keine feststellen, Randunschrfe ebenfalls nicht. Fr den Preis kann man eingenlich nicht wirklich viel mehr erwarten. Die Lichstrke ist fr ein 56er Glas nicht rekordverdchtig, fr den Preis, meiner Meinung nach, aber absolut OK.
Was die Wasserdichtigkeit (Nebel, Regen, Temperaturunterschiede, Beschlagen, etc) angeht, bleibt abzuwarten was das Teil aushlt.
Einzig die Augenmuscheln knnten ein klein bisschen wertiger sein. Auch wre eine Arretierung der Augenmusseln (diese sind in der Tiefe verstellbar) wnschenswert da diese sehr leichtgngig sind.
Das Glas bleibt erst einmal bei mir.
TOP! Anfangs skeptisch, doch konnte mich erinnern an die Aussage eines astro Profis der meinte dass celestron immer gutes liefert fr das Geld. Kann nur besttigen! 12×56 und 10×42 gekauft, bin von beiden absolut berzeugt. Verglichen zb. Mit APM 7×50 ED Apo, eschenbach trophy p 8×42,10×50,8×56, nikon e II (porro 700,-) ,pentax 20×60, eschenbach trophy d 8×25 ED, nikon aculon 7×35, omegon 15×80.
Helligkeit ist TOP, sogar bei dmmerlicht geht’s Richtung APM und ESCHENBACH 8X56 Jagdglas (sind aber einen tick heller, aber wenns nach Gefhl geht passt die Helligkeit in gleiche Kategorie) TOP.
Wirkt wirklich sehr robust und gut gebaut NATURE. WICHTIG beim 12×56 ist es wichtig gut schauen zu knnen, sweetspot ist okay wenn man nicht viel herumschaut sondern eben mglichst immer mittig, bei mir funktioniert das sehr gut da ich augen unter Kontrolle habe. Wenn man so beobachten kann dann ist die Optik einfach TOP ! Fokus ist schnell, also schn langsam oder punktgenau arbeiten. Dioptrien Ausgleich sehr fein einstellen, dann hammer schrfe mglich.
WOW ! Bin echt happy dass ich die beiden gekauft habe, noch mehr Freude ber 12×56! Fr 230,- Super Outdoor allzweckglas das Spa macht und echt tolle Bilder erzeugen kann . Auch noch wichtig umso mehr Zeit fr augeneinstellung also knickbrcke, wirklich geraden Einblick lernen etc. Umso genialere Bilder liefert das Glas. Achja Cromatische ABBERATION fr mich gefhlt kein Thema bei beiden Glsern, htte mehr erwartet. Gefhlt fr mich nicht da. Sehr gute augenmuscheln die geraden Einblick sehr frdern….!
Kaufempfehlung fr konzentrierte beobachter mit gefhl.!
Erwhnenswert auch das Gesichtsfeld von 66 grad! Bild wirkt berhaupt nicht knstlich aufgeblht sonder einfach schn GANZ und abgerundet wenn man wie oben erwhnt immer im sagen wir mal ca. 20% sweetspot bleibt. Also wirklich, habe schon so viele Bilder ergattert wo man sich einfach nur berwltigt fhlt. Wenn mans richtig macht hat man das Gefhl als ginge es nicht mehr schrfer, Ganz toll !
Nachtrag: Habe gerade nochmal mit stativ beobachtet. Meiner Meinung nach sehr gute Optik fr das Geld. Was ich oben vergessen habe zu erwhnen-ich glaube man nennt es globuseffekt, der ist beim schwenken stark was mich nicht strt ,beim langsamen schwenken wirds besser. Wie gesagt sweetspot ungefhr 20% soweit ich das beurteilen kann, und dann verschwimmt es ziemlich zum Rand hin, da ich gerne zentral und konzentriert beobachte strt es mich nicht wirklich. Nochmal-wirklich tolles Gert um diesen Preis….!

The 12×56 has a nicer strap than the 10×42.
Tip: Put it around your neck with one arm through. Then it is like a sling to the side. More comfortable that way and easy to use.
Very high quality. Firm controls, not flimsy in any way. Works good with my glasses (there’s a turn adjustment knob.) Comes with a nice case and covers for both sides of the binoculars.
Sehr gutes Fernglas fr einen angemessenen Preis.
Hat eine gute Optik. Fr Brillentrger auch gut geeignet. Optimale Vergrerung und selbst in der Dunkelheit gut zu verwenden.

I expected a decent pair of binoculars because of course this is a somewhat readily known binocular company. I expected a plasticy but functional pair of binoculars with decent glass. What I got was a very high quality pair of binoculars that I would expect to pay another $150 for than what I did. These are the kind of binoculars you don’t have to say good for the cost… they’re actually just really good binoculars.
Bin dann ab in die Natur um das Glas zu testen. Durch leicht gngiges justieren, ist ein klares und gestochen scharfes sehen der Objekte gegeben, bin total begeistert. Auch in der Dunkelheit, wenn gengend Licht vorhanden, auch dann knnen Objekte klar erkannt werden. Z.B. Mond schauen, auch hier gestochen klar und scharfe Kontouren erkennbar. Somit gehe ich auch davon aus, dass das Fernglas mein stndiger Begleiter ist, ob in der Natur und auch im Urlaub, egal wo es sein wird. alles richtig gemacht. Ach ja vom Gewicht, alles gut.
Purchased for viewing nature, birds, wildlife etc. Durable build and decent quality for the price, but eye relief is too short for eyeglass wearers – cannot see through the eyepiece without removing my glasses so will be returning. P.S. My old, beaten up Celestron 9×63 binocular performs fantastically, but unfortunately this model has been discontinued – still searching for a replacement binocular suitable for my needs 🙁
For the money a very good quality pair of binoculars with a large fiekd of view.
These are very high quality for the price. They are heavy but it makes them feel good and built like a tank. They are extremely clear and you can see quite far although they are only 12x zoom. Highly recommend.
Once you set them to your own vision they are an absolute pleasure to the eye. I am an aviation buff ,and spot aircraft at altitude alot . My last pair were smaller but more power. The view these give is hands down more clear and defined . They take a steady hand , but they pay off big.
Really good quality. The 12X power is about the highest power I can effectively handhold, and the 56mm is still fairly bright. Image is sharp and clear. Large ocular with long eye relief means they a great for people with glasses.
UPDATE: I have had these now since May 2020. and they have replaced my still perfectly good Nikon Monarch 10 X 56 binoculars (due to 2X more magnification, slightly less weight and bulk) as my GoTo binoculars. They have been on many field trips and as checked baggage on planes for Birding. They still look new, though the strap was replaced with a harness and the case is a bit worn.
Nothing to dislike really .
I also have the 8 x 56 and both I think are great value for money.
The 12 x 56 are certainly better for distant objects but not just as sharp as the 8 x 56 .
Both have a purpose
Perhaps may be a little heavy for some but in this price bracket , I think more than acceptable
It was a gift to my adult daughter. She and her husband hike and camp and bird watch. So far, she has told me she loves the binoculars – over and over.

These scopes are the best! GREAT for ocean sighting of sea life at far distances and awesome for star gazing too!! The optics are phenomenal! The weight is significant but totally worth the results!!
Had a struggle to focus and view at first but figured it out late
These are fabulous! Crystal clear image and easy to focus. I’ve spent decades buying cheaper binoculars that I end up replacing because they cloud up or come apart. While I can’t speak for the longevity just yet, they have a very solid quality feel to them.

Has some color distortion. Also not as sharp an image as I had hoped for.
The views I’ve seen have been fabulous. Just a shame its January and I live in Minnesota.
Arrivato un giorno prima del previsto, in un imballaggio impeccabile. Completo di cinghie per la tracolla. Robusto, compatto, luminoso e nitido, quel tanto che basta per un appassionato di natura, non professionista del settore. Entrambi gli oculari possono essere messi a fuoco separatamente. Forse un po’ pesante, ma ne vale comunque la pena.
These are AMAZING – especially for the price. The focus wheel is a little too tight for me but that’s such a minor issue. My pair were damaged in my luggage on a flight and I can’t find anywhere to repair them.
If you have the 12×56 model,you can greatly increase the sharpness of the view by making “aperture masks” with the lense caps.Take the caps,cut a 3/4″ hole in the middle,and install on the objective ends.
The resolution will double,and you still get plenty of light to work with
Thrilled with this product. A bit heavier than expected but very durable. All adjustments easy, I like the eye cups. Connected lens protector is good.
