Great quality display, good spec for the price. Downside would be a charging time/battery life and only two USB ports, 1 USB A and 1 USB C, no HDMI. Overall positive experience.
Great 1440p display,excellent build quality-all aluminium body. For 260 i dear you to find something with this level of performance and specs .
m.2 expansion slot and even light gaming is possible as a bonus ,but of course its mainly a light laptop for taking to school and work that doesnt break your bank account.

Bought to replace an older laptop, this seemed good value for the specs. Did not disappoint. Excellent screen quality, very quick, lots of memory.
The picture quality, speed and software is fast and of highest quality.
I like this machine, I would not hesitate getting another or recommending this to someone else. Don’t have second thoughts it really is worth the money.

I needed general duties and films. Great on both counts.
The screen is very sharp due to the super high resolution – beyond HD and almost 4K. It does make the text very tiny but Windows 10 lets you increase the font size while keeping everything sharp.
Now the negative points. The battery lasts about 2.5 hours which is nowhere near the 6 hours claimed. Some reviews here have said they get 6 hours but either they’re fake/paid reviews or they were just lucky to receive a battery that can run for that long. It takes a long time to charge the battery – 3 to 4 hours.
Overall it’s very good value, despite the short battery life. You won’t find another laptop anywhere near this price point that provides as much RAM and storage with a very high resolution screen in 2022. (I shan’t predict what 2023 or beyond will bring.) Luckily we’re mostly using it where a power socket is available but it would have been nice to have the assurance many more hours of battery life are available if the need arises. If 4 to 6 hours of battery life is critical for you then this isn’t the laptop for you. If you don’t need more than 2.5 hours or you’ll be using it mostly plugged-in, then you will love this Gemibook Pro 14.
So far so good the laptop can handel most games (fortnite,minecraft,swtor,etc) handy having 2 ways to charge via the power supply included or the usb-c the free dust cover for the keyboard is really useful. The only problems I have faced is battery life is meh not the best not the worst but the big one is the ssd gets ripping hot if you are gameing the way its designed to be replaceable is grate but for cooling no so grate it could degrade the ssd quicker due to over heating but other than that it’s it’s perfectly serviceable slim laptop
This little machine is brilliant for the price. It does all my home stuff, email, spreadsheets and browsing with ease.
Versatile and good looking. One usb-c and one usb 3.0 port which should be fine for most people. I think this would be a great machine for a student on a budget.
I was pretty happy with the purchase. There were some issues at the start and the seller resolved it for me and really looked after me. I am impressed by the way they tried to keep the customer happy.
I was genuinely surprised by the quality of this. It’s perfectly capable of doing everyday tasks like browsing or watching videos and the screen is great. I bought it to since I don’t like moving my Macbook out of the office, and wanted something to browse with on the sofa or in the garden. The trackpad doesn’t live up to Apple’s excellent ones, and I’d recommend disable two-finger taps since they have a tendency to get picked up when your trying to scroll, but other than that, it does the job just fine
Great little laptop, Just be realistic about the performance, The screen is great high res and good colour, The processor is fine for general use but not for anything heavy like video editing or large photo work, Also there is no tech support only buy this if your happy dealing with the odd software issue yourself.
Screen and body feel like a much more expensive device . For an occasional user it’s a great value machine .
I had to accept a few “Cons” with this computer, Firstly the limited memory capacity, secondly only one USB port, and thirdly no RJ45 connector. That said probably the average or student user would probably not require more memory or connections.
So to add to this computer i have also purchased a 1Tb SSD drive and a USB “C” fitting multi adaptor to accommodate my additional requirements.
Of course with these additions this makes the whole deal about another 125-00 gbp but its still cheaper that the equivalent 12Gb ram 1Tb SSD computer on the market. Most people may not require as much memory or extra ports.
Now I have a superb compact OTG computer which is very light and compact which i can just pick up and go.
In use it is fast and multitasking is no problem. Im not a fan of mouse pads so use a wireless mouse which uses the only USB port for its receiver. (Hence i need more ports)
The “C” port on the left hand side of the keyboard is the new master outlet for almost all new peripheries. You can connect adaptors for more USB,SD cards,HDMI, etc.
On internet use of Skype or similar apps i found the camera adequate and the sound very good.
The keyboard is full size edge to edge and backlit, but no side number pad.
The screen is top quality and movies load and play superbly.
I recommend this.
Cracking wee machine , superfast start up beautiful screen resolution ,lots of features that I am still getting used to, amazing value for money when you consider the specs are as good if not better than other laptops at twice the price.battery life is very good and it charges up quite quickly. Can’t really fault it at this price
All good so far. US keyboard doesn’t bother me but comes with an overlay if you need it. Actual keypad can be a little sticky from time to time. Battery life is great. All in all good value for money and does what I need.
I work in IT and have done so for 18 years so like to think I’ve come across a fair amount of lavish hardware in my time. This laptop was bought for my daughter during home schooling forced upon by Covid. This is great value for money and seems to be reliable so far having had it for 3 months.
Definitely this is a good value for money product, it does what is says in the tin,but if had more ports would be a better product.
I have mainly used it for generating various doc, spreadsheets etc. Performance is flawless for what I needed it for, but various issues, I.e when HDMI and Wireless mouse plugged through same USB port mouse keeps freezing, also if usb ports are left plugged in over night battery drains for some reason. Noise on Microphone through 3.5mm audio jack which I cant get rid of and had to buy a separate wireless headphone unit. I am happy with performance of laptop but other bits let it down when comes to build quality but again it is reasonably priced and I decided to live with the other issues around.
Great laptop, great value, but WINDOWS IS NOT ACTIVATED

goto youtube, search ‘How to Find Your Windows Product Key’ or goto windows search type ‘CMD’ and type this DOS command wmic path softwarelicensingservice get OA3xOriginalProductKey when you press enter your product key should appear, now you can goto the windows activation screen and enter your product key and it will be activated.
Delivered on time and to spec easy to setup it does what it says on the tin nice size battery life good and for the price a nice buy
Downside, is the silicon keyboard membrane covering the key but daughter doesn’t mind it.
The computer only has one USB which can be a bit difficult.
Perfect for my daughter as its light and not too thick. Battery life gets her through the day (6/7 hrs) but it needs a bit of a top up before I use it in the evening.
Processor/graphics chipset is fine for everyday tasks like Web browsing/word processing but don’t expect it will be much good for modern gaming. I’ve not played any games on it though. Boot up is rapid and everything ticks along at a nice pace.
Highlight of the laptop is the screen which has an excellent resolution and bright, vibrant colours. My screen has a very minor defect in a small spot where it looks like the lcd hasn’t quite been bonded to the glass/plastic correctly. This small smudge is only visible when the screen is black and is so barely noticeable its not worth the effort of sending it back.
I had an issue when setting the laptop up where I couldn’t log on to my Microsoft account. I tried numerous things but in the end had to factory reset the laptop and try again. This worked OK but was a bit annoying.
Wasn’t sure how well I’d get on with the UK keyboard overlay but it’s not really much of a problem.
All in all an excellent laptop for the price and I would buy another. I would have given it 5 out of 5 if it wasn’t for the couple of minor niggles.
for 350 pounds you getting 12gb ram 256 fast ssd and MOST IMPORTANTLY A STUNNING 1440p DISPLAY and if you still gonna nitpick (engage in fussy or pedantic fault-finding) then theres nothing that gonna please you mate…!
I updated my review as I now had it for a week. So far I’m very impressed with this lovely small laptop. Picture quality is amazing. So far I love this laptop. I also use this laptop to edit my video for YouTube, and it does the job. I’m glad that I didn’t spent fortune on some other trendy laptops.
Great value laptop. Perfect for its intended use. It is strong and durable with good battery life and compact.
Use only abt week so far so good ,Not bad laptop for price , battery last few hours .
Microsoft Edge ran slow on the device on setup, but other than that a perfect and very operational device worth the price in my opinion.
Light and very portable – keyboard is a bit clunky and only one USB port for external devices. Just what is needed though
Good battery can go a few days (With approximately 2 hours use per day) without charge. Comes with a keyboard overlay to switch keyboard from US to UK format.
Bought this laptop for my daughter. Absolutely ideal for her school work, with a good battery life and everything she needs on it. Very pleased with the purchase.
Has a little issue with the product key when activating Windows, so I emailed the customer services and within 2 minutes I had a reply and with 3 hours I had the new key. 5 stars for the customer service.
The laptop itself is very fast and responsive. Playing games no problem, OK not on the highest graphical details but still more then playable, smooth, no lag online and no gliching.
If you was thinking of getting this I say get it…. I am very happy with this item.
