We purchased this controller to replace our OMtech controller on our 130w laser. Even though it is a different orientation it still works. Set up was fairly easy and we just use 3m tape and attached it right above the old one. If you are looking to replace one (ours got hit by lightning), I highly recommend this one.

Purchased this as an upgrade to a grbl control system. Honestly not sure it was worth the effort and cost tbh. I like the remote control features but i don’t really see much benefit over the grbl system that are much much cheape

This was a drop-in for an old Leetro laser controller. Installation was very simple, had to rewire a couple of connectors. Setup can be done with Lightburn – the best $60 I’ve spent.

Recommended upgrade for any old lasers

A wonderful upgrade of the custom-built laser. With the price tag of 185 quid, you cannot go wrong (it was a deal). I wouldn’t pay though their asking price for this model, too small screen.

Great controller supported by Lightburn software. Lots of good features. If you are on the fence, just do it and don’t look back!

Lots pf work to upgrade from the M2 nano, but 100% worth it! Cloudray was also very helpful in providing a manual in engrish for wiring.

Once configured and tuned, this board performs exceptionally well.

I purchased this controller to replace a full spectrum controller referbishing a machine that I own. I didn’t have to run any new wires but I did have to scour the internet to figure out what went where. All in all it performs great and gives full control to troubleshoot your machine.

Very powerful laser controller. I am using this as a retrofit on a K40 Chinese laser. It works well. Using it with LightBurn. Only a few quirks with configuring settings, and interfacing with software. Overall very happy.

I’ve been eyeing this controller since we got our laser cutter with the older 6442 controller. It’s so much better because the auto-focus and Z up/down have their own dedicated buttons, rather than having to dive thru a convoluted menu like the older controller had. It wasn’t too difficult to upgrade, although the display was slightly wider than our opening and required a little metalwork to fit. My fault for assuming and not checking the measurements beforehand. Copied the old settings off the previous controller and loaded them to this one, tested and adjusted a few settings that seemed to differ and we were off to the races. Props to Cloudray for quickly responding and providing helpful assistance for the few hiccups we encountered!

I purchased this unit to replace a blown out controller on my laser engraver. I have been having some issues and been trying to have the machine back up and running for some time now. The tech support I have been receiving from Cloudray has been very fast and informative. They are very supportive and extremely helpful in every way. I would not hesitate to ever purchase from this company. I just want to thank the tech support team for all the time and effort they have put out to help me. I am truly grateful. Thank you.

The keyboard is physically awkward. Too much travel and too much pressure to operated the pads.
Manual is atrocious. Chinese translation is really bad.
