I use this for work, it is a great monitor. Not too big, the built in speakers work well. I’ve not used it for gaming, so can’t comment.
I bought these so I could have duel screens for home working. I love them ! No flickering, good size & easy to set up.
27 inch is perfect …its clear and bright …a huge improvement over my work HP monitor. Speakers a bonus but overall gr8 for work ..excel sheets and clearer and with my poor eyesight its made my job easier. If it could be adjusted it would have been better but value for money wise a great buy ..and no issues as I have been using it for a few months now.
I am so happy that I upgraded my monitors to Dell. This monitor is quick, bright, and very sharp. It’s great for daily work and for gaming. Price effective and well designed. Highly recommended.

This is a good quality monitor at this price level. Good for daily use, for work or web surfing, watching youtube and netflix. I am not a gamer, cannot comment on using it for gaming.
I found this model that has been discountined recently. However, I found it for a very very good price here and I have to say that the screen resolution, brightness and colours meet my expectantions and beyond. I think is an excellent choice.
It’s good, the picture quality is there and you’re getting a good product for what you paid for. The built in speakers are a bonus but… they’re also what bring this monitor down. The audio quality isn’t as good as it could be, they’re very tinny and I would recommend getting speakers alongside this monito
Bought this screen for home working and could not be more happy with it. Exactly as advertised, super easy to set up and the picture is really sharp.
Very good definition for my purposes of home office working. Has 2 HDMI ports. The speakers are ok but no Hifi standard. OK probably for non music You Tube or remote conferencing voice output. Decent stand and screen tilt.
A good product and value for money compared to even online marketplace. Had a cable missing which I had to order from tech help, but it arrived in few days and it worked perfectly.
Have been using this for a few weeks now and I’d say it’s easy to set up and does its job well. Also has good quality sound. The icons get rough edges but I guess the issue is more with the OS than the monitor.
I use the monitor with my xbox and it works great with it. Screen quality is great and the built in speakers are a bonus. I’ve had it for several months now and it works perfectly.
Love it and am very happy with my decision to buy this product. The product is as per description (75Hz for the refreshing rate, full HD 1920×1080…I enclosed the label in pics if that can help).
Absolutely fabulous screen quality. Really easy to set up and get it working. The only small point is the stand which would be better if slightly higher. But it’s really stable and you can tilt the screen. I’m really impressed with this screen. Recommended for office work. I don’t game, but assume it would be great for this as picture quality is superb.
I wanted just one monitor. I wanted 27″ and ideally I wanted Quad HD. But I couldn’t afford a monitor that ticked all those boxes so I decided to take a punt on the lower resolution. I also found this in Amazon Warehouse in Very Good condition at a price that was very attractive.
The positives for me:
1. It looks lovely. Bevels are thin. Colours are good.
2. It runs much cooler than my previous monitors (I don’t come away from it after multiple hours of work feeling like my face is sunburned.)
3. It has built in speakers, so I’ve cleared my desk of the separate speakers I used to use (the speakers aren’t great, very little bass, but fine for zoom calls, background music, what little gaming I do). So I saved space.
4. It has VESA mounts. Not all monitors seem to.
5. I can have two documents open side by side at a good, readable size – that’s all I really wanted
The negative:
1. It is a bit fuzzy. There’s no denying it. It’s not the monitor’s fault, it’s just that 1080p on 27″ is a stretch. If you’re gaming, you’ll probably not notice it. For lots of word processing/spreadsheeting I’d say if you can afford it go quad HD or settle for a smaller screen.
All that said, I really like it. It’s a big step up for me and I can live with the lack of clarity.
The box came as is and was not placed in any other packaging which isn’t very secure. Overall the monitor is very good the only problem is that I cannot seem to increase/decrease the volume when I have my nintendo switch plugged in. I can’t seem to adjust the volume on the switch or the the actual monitor. Would appreciate it if anyone reading this could give some tips or suggestions.
I bought this as my Mac died and I bought a windows based computer that needed a monitor. So the image quality isn’t as good as a mac but having said that it does the job. It says HD ready but I find that watching Netflix programmes in HD, well the quality just isn’t there. Luckily I rarely need to do that as I simply use it for displaying e.mails and to play video games. Nothing top end but still a decent refresh rate is needed which this monitor does have
The set up out of the box is really easy and straight forward taking just a few minutes to fit the stand etc. You can adjust the viewing angle and all in all it does look good – quite elegant, not in your face as some monitors can be.
There are various buttons on the bottom left corner to adjust settings and I did find the colour needed to be played about with to get it to my liking. I have the monitor set with the volume at 1 (yes 1) and I find that loud enough but maybe too loud in case I disturb neighbours in the next room late at night! Maybe I’m just being sensitive to my neighbours desire for sleep.
I’m quite happy with the item although for the price you could buy a smart TV I guess.
I bought this as a birthday present for my husband as he recently built his own PC for gaming but has been waiting to get a new monitor.
I got some advice from a fellow gamer who recommended this one within my budget and my husband is thrilled with it.
I didn’t think it would be as big as it is, it’s great! There is a minimal bezel so the screen is virtually borderless!
The picture quality is amazing given this is a budget friendly monitor. I watched as he changed the resolution settings in his games and it was akin to getting a new glasses prescription in the difference it made!
It also is a good-looking monitor and has built in speakers, not that he uses those when he’s playing, but I thought it was a good feature.

Its great, the picture quality is amazing and the settings are easy to set up. Works great with a PC and a PS4. The speakers are not great but theyre ok for things like Youtube and a few basic games. But i reccomend a headset for gaming anyway.
Very happy with this purchase. The packaging is designed to make setup easier which is a thoughtful and very helpful start. The monitor itself is perfect for my needs (I’m not a gamer) with an ample yet non-reflective screen. The built in speakers are actually really good with a nice clear sound. I think its very good value for money and would certainly recommend for this price range. Thanks very much Dell!
The apparent paleness of the screen threw me at first but within an hour or so I realised how easy it was to see with no eye strain. The speakers are surprisingly good for a flat screen.
Dell did it again,,, this is my 4th dell monitor since 2004. clear picture and good sound quality, main use is for work esp data sheets. Highly recommended esp it’s come with 3 years warranty.

It is bright, crisp and great value for money.
Gaming, streaming and working on it is a joy – everything is clear and it’s just the right size to split screen.
It arrived undamaged and quicker than expected.
Only gripe, the sound quality is good but quiet. I can easily hit the 50’s in volume when watching something if there’s any other noise in the area.
Big plus is inbuilt speakers that are good sound quality and an audio Jack.
he screen quality seems very good to me although i can imagine that gaming or other functions might be more picky about the quality of the screen. i wish the base of the screen was a bit more steady but it is ok on a desk it has the screws to mount it more securely. i have hooked it up so i have the old monitor as well and now ill need a better graphics driver as 2 monitors slows it dow
The picture quality is excellent for the price, with an efficient anti-glare finish (very prone to finger marks though, so no touch!). The border is superthin, so much so that my webcam (not included) now sticks out a few mm at the top of the screen. If the stand is pushed towards the wall, the surface of the screen is 105 mm off the wall, which is less than many monitors. The stand is reasonably stable (just). The menu buttons are okay (the only thing I preferred on the SE2416H), and the menus are easy to navigate. Finally, you also get the environmental/sustainability assurance from DELL, which is something I’m increasingly looking for in my electronic purchases.
Best of all it features two HDMI ports (cable included) and an audio jack output. Compared to the SE2416H which I had previously purchased, which comes with a VGA port (hello, it’s 2021!), one HDMI port (no cable) and no audio output, this is a breath of fresh air – for 30 quid extra, the S2421H model is way more versatile and future proof. The ideal office/leasure desk monitor.
Delivery was 2 days earlier, screen is great size wise perfect i use it with an arm also good so it mounts perfectly
The speakers are not bad at all for daily calls or music however i think new monitors have easier keys to access and control the monitor’s brightness and volume but i dont complain as im attaching external speakers for easier change of volume
So far, so good. Plug in and away you go. So huge, it’s like having two screens. Speakers not shaking the house with the bass notes, but good to have ’em. Means my laptop doesn’t have to throw its voice.
Looks amazing, never had a monitor of such quality before and it is very responsive, nice, modern, easy to setup right from the box with no tools whatsoever. The IPS display is magnificent, and when I connect the HDMI to my laptop, the monitor is more responsive than the laptop screen itself, so nearly a performance boost maybe?
Pros: programmable navigation buttons, amazing responsive display, 3 different settings for response times, good for both PC and Console gaming
Cons: volume too loud even at 1% (not really a con since you can use headphones but it’s worth mentioning if you game in a quite environment and don’t have any headphones)
Amazing device for the price, great value for money, if you need a monitor for everyday use, for gaming, and any other task, do not hesitate. This is the one.
For the money this thing is ace. Picture is good for what it is and I am really surprised how good the built in speakers are. One thing to note is that you can not alter the headphone volume through the screen.
Looks good and easy to set up has inbuilt speakers. This is a good home office monitor and works well plugged into my Mac via an adaptor. Not sure if this is good for gaming as I don’t game but is great for home working using MS office and surfing the web. very happy with the purchase and price. The speakers are ok not much base but ok for low volume listening.
I needed to get a couple of monitors for them, not top spec, but decent enough that they could still play their games with decent colours and frame rate with built in sound, so they didn’t need additional speakers taking up space on their desks.
I bought one of these to try out, and see what it was like.
Reasons to buy:
* Dead easy to put together and it was up and running in 5 minutes.
* Comes with an HDMI cable (luckily as I didn’t have a spare at the time)
* I really love the matte screen, so even when lights are on in the room or light is coming in through the window, there is no glare or reflection of the person using the monitor
* Sound is decent (bear in mind they are playing fairly basic games)
* Buttons are tucked away at the bottom right hand corner, but still accessible for volume, power and brightness etc. for kids to able to use
* I thought the monitor might be too big for a child’s room, but they love them.
* Very minimal border around the screen, so looks more expensive than what it is
* For the price, you’d be hard pressed to find the same size monitor with bult in sound and a matte screen for this price
After buying the first monitor, my 2nd daughter said she wanted exactly the same one, so we bought two of the same in the end.
Fabulous! Perfect size for my space, angles for best view. Picture/sound quality is perfect for my needs. Was easy to put together and simple to get started. Am very happy.
Great quality and resolution. It looks really professional and sleek. The audio is also really good. I live in a small flat so this has now become me new “TV” for movies and gaming. Would really recommend!
It was a screen for my son’s computer. It was easy to set up, the picture is clear and the sound is surprisingly good for an integrated speaker.
All in all, very happy with the purchase.
