I needed a 45degree cut across a 300mm wide board, this saw did a perfect job. The angle adjustment has a small notch to help you locate 45. Two cuts resulted in a bang on 90 degree corner. As a DIY woodworker, I’ve never seen such accuracy in any of my tools before. Also next to no splintering with this blade and an extremely neat cut. Now I see why so many professionals use Dewalt tools

Only obviously it’s corded but this is reflected in a very good price but means no messing with batteries. If you don’t actually need a cordless one this is the one to buy.
Simply does what it was designed to do and so easy to use it’s the best I have bought and will only ever buy this brand from now on…. Value for money
Doesn’t have electronic brake but that’s fine unless you use it a lot and speed is important. If you use infrequently then just be have to be more careful without an electronic brake
As a circular saw it won’t have lots of features
It does have a depth of cut adjusted which is easy to use and and angle adjuster, again easy to use. The dust extractor take off has a good fit to my adapter. The cut is crisp and smooth. There is not much more to say. I am completely happy with this tool
I mistakenly ordered the 240v mains powered saw. Was looking for the battery one at 18v. I returned and Amazon have given me a refund. I think the battery saw is safer option, don’t like using 240v mains power.
I initially bought a less expensive “Amazon suggests” make. Struggled with it for days then returned it because of build quality and accuracy issued. Unboxed this little beauty and it’s a dream to use – accurate cuts every time, solid 45 setting, great blade visibility. The whole thing just screams quality and it cuts through the same wood at twice the speed of the cheap alternative (Meterk – do not buy!). Superb quality product!
