Looks great with the 3D fire effect. Heat output is great.
This is my second purchase after my first one over ten years ago but the new one comes with a thermostat regulator . It is adequate to keep my sitting room warm apart from enjoying its artificial flames like a real fire stove. The remote control is a bit small which could easily get lost. Other than that everything is perfect.
Absolutely love this fire.It is very pleasing to the eye and has a very realistic log burning effect.Gives out good heat and looks good even without the heat source
We bought this stove to replace our 30 year old one, which weirdly stunk of fish when turned on. Despite all my efforts the strong smell pervaded! Surely they don’t use fish in the manufacture of plastic? This replacement is excellent. It arrived the day after ordering,was easy to put in place and switch on – and all’s well. Looks good, works perfectly. It even feels warmer without the heater on!

The dimplex club electric fire is a really lovely fire. It gives out good heat and warms our room quite adequately. We have ours in the lounge which is quite a big room.
We have baught a small chimney to go on the top so it looks like a log burner.It finishes it off.
It does have a slight humming noise but you don’t notice it with the tv on and also when the tv isn’t on we find it not annoying.
On the whole a good, practical fire which makes your room look really cosy and warm.
Very pleased with the fire. I had a problem with the remote but the dimplex people sent me a new one which has been fine.
Would recommend this to others.
This fire looks really realistic and brings a warm and cosy feeling to your room even without the heater being on.
It looks like cast iron and so authentic, a great addition to the room. You won’t be disappointed!
I wanted something cosy in my lounge. This is a perfect focal point, placed in a faux chimney breast, it looks so authentic, and no dust or mess.
Remote control fine.
Heat output excellent, only need it on for a short blast.
I would highly recommend this electric log burner.
The ‘ logs ‘ a little disappointing as not at all realistic!
Having had to remove our log burner due to a massive hike in insurance for our thatched cottage we needed to put some life back into our inglenook. This little stove does the job. It is only needed for secondary heating as we have central heating so it is great that we can switch the flame on without needing the heat. It really brings the room to life.
It’s a very nice electric stove, the log effect looks very authentic as we added a flue pipe to the top. It gives a good heat and it runs quietly when the fun is on. Just the right size, not too big and not too small. The reason I’m giving 4 stars is because there was a big dent in the side, although it doesn’t show as it is in a recess but couldn’t be bothered with the hustle of sending it back.
Brought this the other day as we had what was just too noisy so we decided to give this a shot , we wasn’t disappointed delivery is brilliant, nice and steady , fits perfectly in our gap on fire place, looks so real, great value for money considering simaller are 2 times the price, best purchase eve
Looks like a real log stove. Even when switched off a small glow from the logs looks like a dying fire. The heater is very effective at keeping a decent sized lounge/diner warm. I am over the moon with the quality of this purchase for what was a reasonable price. My only quibble is that whilst I can use the remote control to switch the fire off, I haven’t figured how to use it to switch it on.
Bought an optimist fire first, but it didn’t work properly, so sent it back and went for this optiflame fire, saving myself about 300, and I’m so pleased I did! Very simple to set up and use, but looks pretty neat. My only complaint would be that the remote control is flimsy, and you cannot turn on/off the heating, just the ‘flame’ effect.
Anyway, we’re pleased that we’ve got it, and looking forward to seeing it operate for years to come!
This thing looks great and ties the room together perfectly. It works as it should and the faux logs/fire look very convincing. My only regret is not getting one with more heat output as my dining room is quite large and open so the warmth generated resides very closely to the stove only. But for a smaller space, this would heat it up quite nicely and does look the part.
A nice but slightly flawed little fire. Viewed head on it’s very persuasive but move to the side and the mirror, that creates the flame effect, can be seen. The log effect appears double as it’s reflected in the mirror, this doesn’t show clearly in photos, it adds depth to the look.
It’s surprisingly light yet looks sturdy and quite convincingly metallic. The fan heater blows very hot and isn’t overly noisy for a fan more a hum than a rattle, when the heater is turned off there is no noise at all. I like that the controls are hidden inside the casing and that the door can be left open. All in all its good value compared to most cheaper brands that look very artificial
