I am very happy with this stove. It looks well inset into a fireplace. It gives out plenty of heat, and the flame effect is realistic. Some reviewers mentioned the noise of the fan, but I find it acceptable

I only wish I bought this fire sooner as it is excellent. I love it and so does the people who have been in my house and seen it. Delivery was very fast and I had it installed in no time at all. Really good value for money.

attractive design, even came with small packs of real coal to make it look even more realistic. the flickering flames look so realistic, quite amazing. it came well packaged and well protected. very happy. just fits nicely

Overall O.K.
What I do not like is the back is clear glass.
Therefore the coals cannot be seen against a dark background which is the case for a real fire. Disappointing. It would be good to be able to purchase a larger overall size.

Nice glow of a cold night. Do not turn on the heater,to expensive,just CH. Not happy now, 14 November 2020. Only used it for effect over Christmas. Now it has died. Nothing. Changed fuse,nothing,so down to 1star.

So pleased we got this fire,fits beautifully into our fire space. So easy to turn on and off .
The flames are very comforting and realistic.
No more cleaning out the grate,taking ashes out and struggling with heavy coal bags.
Life has become warmer,and more comfortable.

This fire is great. It has a realistic glow and soon warms up the room, kicking back into life as soon as the temperature drops. I added a “fake flue” and changed the handles to brass and the look was complete. I love it.

We love this stove delivered the second week December with no fuss. Can’t hear any whine noise perhaps the other one’s aren’t sitting properly. Had extra coal from old fire so it build up better. Love the doors so easy to open and close. Heater great for cold mornings. Only complaint is remote control little button to soft to press two or three tries before connects. Love it.

The remote control (with basic on/off functionality) didn’t work so I fixed it by removing the battery and re-inserting it about 5 times. This continuous removing and reinserting of the battery fixed the issue.

The stove is quite plain but excellent value and very safe if you have children as it doesn’t get hot. The fan heater underneath blows out a good amount of heat and distributes it around the room. There’s a thermostat on the side and 3 power levels.

Excellent value for money and a lot easier and safer than the wood burner we used to have!

There’s an easy fix for the remote control not working

This is an excellent buy and just what I wanted to replace an older electric fire. It fits the space I have and looks good. Virtually silent and well built. It looks good with only the flame effect on and the heat output is very good. Good price, excellent delivery.

What a wonderful little fire. The flame effect is very realistic. The remote control is limited, but since we only bought it for the appearance and not the heat it works just great. What was a bonus was that the model that arrived has LED lights and says they do not need to be changed in the lifetime of the fire. Really pleased, makes the room look very cosy.

This is a very efficient little heater and it looks good too I previously had a gas heater but on giving my room a severe overhaul I was persuaded t buy this heater ,if the room is pretty cold this heats it up in minutes a great product so far .

This is a very nice fire for the money. There is a quiet hum when the flame effect only is selected and the fan is a little noisier but it’s not particularly intrusive. You can switch the fire on and off using the remote but cannot select flame effect, heat 1 or heat 2 independently, using it. If I need the heating or just the flame I pre-select it on the fire then it can be switched on and off at that setting using the remote. Looks are good and the flame effect is very realistic. The unit comes with a few bits of real coal to put on top of the fire bed to make it look a bit more realistic.

Stove is very effective, looks cosy and almost like the real world thing! Fan works well and overall not very noisy. I am sure it will heat up the space well when required. Had to chase up the suppliers but this was handled well and had a good outcome. Thank you

Simply amazing! It heats up the room real fast and creates a nice atmosphere with the optiflame effect.
The fan noise is not loud at all and if it would bother you, after a couple min you do not hear it anymore.

Having read a number of other reviews about this heater I was a bit concerned about the potential noise from it.

Once assembled I plugged it in and switched it on. There was a bit of a hum but not at all intrusive. I then realised I had inadvertently switched on the actual heating and not just the glow! With the heating turned off and just the glow remaining I couldn’t hear a thing.

It looks great and works beautifully.

Lovely fire for the money. Good value. Quite realistic looking flames which is exactly what we bought it for. Gives the sitting room a really cozy look. It does emit a quiet hum with just the flame effect but this is barely noticeable, and not at all if you’ve got the tv/music on.Haven’t used the heater so can’t comment.

Love this. Fire . It took me a while to find the switches to turn it on manually though . It’s good quality and not made of plastic I think I’ll buy some extra coal to make it even better . It really hears my large conservatory well and I like the remote control aspec

Very happy with this fire,we have placed it in front of existing open gas fire on a black hearth and it covers the original fire aperture perfectly,changing the look of the fireplace. We often just have the light and fire effect on as that’s what was missing with the fireplace previously- without burning gas it just looked cold & lifeless. Now the room has life & a warm appearance,& if we put the fan heater on it takes a very short time to take the chill off. We do have central heating as background heat as well,but mostly at either end of the day. I have painted the gold knobs on the front a pewter colour,which fits in with the black & pewter surround it sits in front of,which is much more in keeping.

Bought this fire to sit in front of an ancient fireplace in our cottage. It ‘fits the bill’ entirely and looks really good.
It has a realistic flame effect which can be used even if the electric fire elements are switched off, giving a warm, cosy glow. When the the elements are switched on the fire radiates plenty of heat.
We are very pleased with this fire and would recommend.

We bought this fire for our son and his family for Christmas as the one they have had for the past 8 years didn’t add anything to their living room..in fact it was very boring! I had often commented how their room needed something cheerful to brighten it up on winter nights so at last they ‘gave in’ and agreed. Their house is very warm and they rarely need the central heating on but this fire allows you to have the glow of the fire without the heat so it’s perfect for them. Our grandchildren love it too and often lay in front of it feeling cozy and loved. It has made a big difference to the ambiance of the room and they wish they’d have had it years ago!

Lovely fire, nice bit of heat from fan but I only really wanted an electric stove with out the annoyance and expense of fitting a real log burning stove . I bought the springborne as it was the only one I could find with coal effect instead of the plastic log look , it came with coal to decorate but I will be adding more to make it more realistic.

This is a fantastic stove heater. (Actually, this is our second one as our old one gave up the ghost after 7 years so it didn’t do badly!) This is such a brilliant heater, gives a real cosy feeling to the room and gives out great heat. The heater isn’t very noisy which is great. It comes with real coal that you can put inside the doors to give that real coal fire effect! There are 2 heat settings and you can have the lights on independently on their own if you don’t want any heat. Would thoroughly recommend. Great purchase.
