Really loving these. The sound quality is great and the battery seems to last for ever.
My only complaint would be that the buttons on the sides isn’t a great idea as it’s so so easy to hit them by accide
Purchased for a specific project I was working on. Always use DJI equipment where I can. Can’t compare against other brands as never purchased them but, more than happy with this and would recommend it.
I am pleased that DJI released this setup, not having to have the two microphones. As someone who us a solo creator, the second mic would be pointless for an extra 60. A really versatile bit of kit.
This microphone is excellent, I’m very happy with it. The only issue I had was when I tried to synchronize my camera Canon EOS M50 Mark II with my Samsung Galaxy tablet and causes lots of noise on the film, so I decided not to use my tablet as a spare screen and everything works perfectly.
This mic set up is so good. It’s what self-generated mobile video journalism has been waiting for…
The case doubles as a recharging unit, so if you are out and about, and they do run out of power, ou can put them back in the case and recharge them ready to go again. the results so far on lour channel have been very good. the sound quality is excellent and the external ambient noise is greatly rduced.
Purchased as a temporary replacement to a Rode Wireless Go II set-up, where the latter’s batteries were bulging in both transmitters after 16 months of daily operation. The DJI kit is very nicely thought out and operationally is nicer to use than the Rode Wireless Go II’s.
Sound quality is good, but the Rode kit is more detailed. That said, if you use a Sanken COS-11 Lavalier Microphone, then the DJI kit is magnificent.
DJI makes great products and I have owned many from drones, cameras to gimbals, so when DJI released a wireless microphone I new it will be good but turns it’s the best !
I have owned the Rode wireless Go prior to owning the DJI MIC and below are some key features I really liked about this product;
-Dual channel
-option to use individual channels or stereo.
– decent wireless range
-auto recording as soon as taken out of charging case
-wireless manual record start
-each wireless mic has onboard storage
-Mic storage accessible without special software
-mic has built in cold shoe, shirt clip with magnetic clip too
-Easy to use touch screen interface
-l
The biggest plus is the dual mic charging case that’s included as it takes away the hassle of charging the microphones individually and they are always ready to use just like earpods. (Rode doesn’t come with one)
The charge lasts long time too as I’ve managed to do a whole day of recording with feeling the need to recharge.
Overall it was a huge upgrade for me from Rode wireless Go
hat it just comes on when opening the box , and it re chargs afte
Firstly, they work extremely well. The UI is awesome, too. Everything you need to find is findable – quickly.
The case design is sublime – you can crack them out, and have them in play in only a few seconds.
They’re designed to be used. That may sound odd, but so many manufacturers leave paper cuts all over the place that just . Add friction. You can choose from lightning or USB-C adapters for the unit to connect, and you don’t need to remove the shoe in order to put the gear back in its case to re charge.
They’re compact. The case is sturdy. Honestly, I can’t think of a bad thing.
If you’re considering these, or the Rode Wireless Go – just buy these. Don’t consider any other options. You won’t be sorry.
It’s well worth the money and a lot better than the Road equivalents.
Just about the perfect solution for a non techie user. Podcast and roving recording just so easy and versatile. Forefront of technology without being uncomfortably trailblazing. Rode is bigger, two years old more expensive for two mics. Also Central app makes it so cumbersome and not very intuitive out in field.
