I’m very impressed with this phone at this price. It has a great screen and battery life and a solid build. The processor speed is just fine for most things – as long as you’re not doing high-end gaming or editing long high-quality videos all the time
I did a bit of research as I needed a new phone and I didn’t want to spend a fortune. Finally choose this Doogee. Very happy with it. So easy to set up , nice colour. Great pictures . Great storage. All in all a bargain.
Nice cheap phone for work, inexpensive so I don’t mind losing it if I take to to gigs or festivals. It can be used for everything I need, using social apps and web browsing, making calls and messaging, taking basic photos. The phone quality doesn’t feel cheap, happy with the phone.
I wasn’t expecting much at this price, but this phone really is excellent. It’s easy to use, feels sturdy and is great for browsing the internet, giving a responsive performance. The battery life is very decent, too. Great value and definitely recommended.

Lovely smartphone, easy to use, nice size 6.5″ screen, 64gb memory, very quick and responsive, clear bright screen, nice design and colour (I picked the Blue). Plus it has face recognition but no finger print recognition but overall it is perfect for my needs at a price I can afford.

It comes with a 4200mAh battery, which like the big brands would not be much without battery management systems to back it up which it does. it lasts an easy full day with plenty to spare on an evening (although i charge it anyway). The 9GB Ram is actually higher spec then others ensuring smooth working and no hiccups when it comes to running through apps, be it social media or games, they all run smoothly as does the camera pp which is a great piece of tech that takes really clear detailed images in both normal and portrait mode.

I recently purchased this budget android smartphone, and I have to say that I am thoroughly impressed. The phone is unlocked to all networks, so I didn’t have to worry about compatibility issues with my SIM. It runs the latest Android 12 operating system which provides a smooth and intuitive user experience. Set up takes just minutes and is really straightforward. One of the standout features of this phone is its large 6.52-inch screen, which offers excellent-quality visuals. I was particularly impressed by how bright and vivid the colours are, this applies to the everyday operation and both the photos and videos it can take which look fantastic. The phone’s internal memory of 64GB is more than enough for my daily needs, but what really sets it apart from similar phones is its expandable RAM. Slim phone with a big screen and good battery life at an affordable price.
Regarding the build in quality I would say it is fine considering the value of t his phone because it all starts from there. The case is well integrated with the rest of the components, the screen large enough for a good view point and while using this phone I can say that the responsiveness is also quite decent(not to impress but normal). I dont pay attention to the battery level because I keep the phone plugged most of the time.
The phone is in constant use and here I mean since I have it, it didnt stop doing certain operations for my job because this is the purpose of having it. I keep the processor at around 70-80% intensity and the 4gb ram which are the existing ones + the 5gb virtual, at 90% usage and the phone still works ok. Yes, it warms up a bit but this is absolutely normal.
To explain something important, if this smartphone works fine in my situation then for regular use such as internet, music, phone calls, text and so on will do just fine without any doubt. Something else, it will be able to run moderate games and what I suggest is to go in the settings and boost the ram to the max for a better performance.
I also tested the camera and it is quite ok for the price of this phone.
Overall, it works just fine and I can continue doing my job using this phone.
My son needed a new smartphone, that’s not pricey but with some simple but useful features. I thought this Doogee X98 Pro phone seemed like a perfect phone for him.
It has a nice large screen, with a clear HD display. The audio is acceptably good, could be louder but it’s fine especially if you are not always accessing the phone in crowded places.
With the built-in 4200 mAh battery, the battery life is quite good. My son went on for a day watching videos and movies on Youtube, but at the end of the day, it still had plenty of battery left.
With its 4GB RAM, there will be limitations to what this phone can do, of course. Multitasking, and opening several apps windows will slow it down.
It has produced some great clear photos in detail with accurate colour (when tested in a bright light environment). The soft selfie flash is helpful when taking selfies in low light.
For the price, the highlights, and the functionality this phone has to offer, I’d say this is a cool smartphone and would be perfect for a first smartphone. My son is happy with this phone so there’s nothing to complain about.

As a backup phone, I am quite satisfied with its price and performance. Looked at a few, the price of this one memory is relatively high. Cell phones have big screens. Antes de comentar como es el telefono recordar el precio que tiene y que no se puede comparar con telefonos que multiplican por 5 su precio.
Nada mas abrirlo ves el punto fuerte de este smartphone que es como viene protegido, como dice mi hijo parece un transformer, viene toralmente engomado por todos lados excepto la pantalla, con todas las entradas tanto de carga, audio o tarjetas con un tapon de seguridad que aisla a cualquier tipo de humedad de lo que es la parte electronica del telefono.
Algunos me llamaron loco y otros se pusieron las manos en la cabeza pero si pone que es acuatico habra que probarlo no? pues con apenas dos dias lo met en un cubo de agua y la verdad es que no le paso absolutamente nada, el telefono sigue funcionando.
En los dias que llevo con el telefono se me ha caido ya 3 o 4 veces y de momento no tiene ni un rasguo, de momento en la parte de proteccin cumple con todas mis espectativas.
En cuanto al funcionamiento es una maravilla, va muy fluido y de momento despues de un mes de uso no he tenido ningun tipo de problema ni a la hora de manejarlo ni al instalarle nada.
La cmara es una maravilla, nada que envidiar a telefonos de gama mucho mas alta.
En definitiva un telefono que te puede durar aos, o por lo menos a mi con que me dure mas de 6 meses ya estoy satisfecho.
Este S98 Pro, es la gama alta actual de la marca, que adems de soportar todo lo anterior, est equipado con unas caractersticas que lo convierten en un telfono herramienta, para uso militar o extremo, viene equipado adems, de algunos sensores como el barmetro de presin atmosfrica, el sensor magntico, acelermetro y giroscopio de certificacin militar MIL-STD-810G, IP8 y IP69K, como extra una cmara trmica de visin nocturna. El resto de especificaciones y componentes, son las de un telfono de gama media alta.
Una vez en la mano, su tamao, grosor y peso, nos dejan ver que no es un telfono para un usuario normal, ya podemos prepararnos de un buen bolsillo o rionera para poder llevarlo encima. Eso s, la sensacin de robustez es extraordinaria, a buen seguro que va a soportar un trato poco delicado.
El funcionamiento es correcto, con Android 12, mueves in problemas aplicaciones y juegos exigentes. La pantalla responde sin problema y el sonido sin ser de calidad, cumple sobradamente.
En cuanto a conectividad, tampoco he notado nada raro, las llamadas, el bluetooth, Wifi, datos (no tiene 5G), NFC y GPS funcionan con normalidad, como debe de ser en un terminal con el precio de este S98 Pro.
El tema de foto y vdeo, no es su fuerte, cmaras con muchos megapxeles, pero que no dan los resultados que me esperaban, cumple solamente, con el vdeo ocurre igual. Destacar la cmara con visin nocturna, que salvo paras algo usos muy especficos, para un usuario de a pie ser algo anecdtico que dejar de probar pasados unos das.
Un punto a destacar es la batera, de 6000 mAh que adems de aumentar considerablemente el peso del telfono, le aporta una gran autonoma, que junto a la carga rpida de 33 w nos asegura tener el telfono siempre disponible para ser usado. Ah, tambin tiene carga inalmbrica, pero esta es de 15 w.
Muy completo este telfono herramienta, duradero, cumplidor, fiable y como he comentado, dedicado a personas de oficios muy especficos o para deportes muy extremos.
Questo Doogee S98 Pro un rugged di fascia medio alta, dotato di processore MediaTek Helio G96 e ben 8 GB RAM, accompagnati da 256 GB di memoria ROM. Sulla parte posteriore troviamo una buona fotocamera da 48 MP, ma soprattutto la possibilit di fare scatti con la visione notturna (di buona qualit) grazie ai sensori infrarossi e anche di fare rilevazioni termiche!
Il peso non indifferente, un rugged bello spesso e con una batteria da 6.000 mAh che fornisce un’autonomia molto lunga, ma il tutto ha un costo, ovvero che nella tasca ci entra difficilmente e pesa come un mattone, ma vabb non una novit per chi predilige smartphone di questo genere. Buona anche la ricarica rapida 33W, non il top ma meglio di nulla.
Lato software c’ qualche bug qui e l, ma comunque tranquillamente utilizzabile e risulta abbastanza fluido nell’utilizzo quotidiano e con app come Telegram, WhatsApp, Chrome e quant’altro. Magari un processore Qualcomm di fascia medio-altra avrebbe alzato ancora di pi l’asticella.
Nel complesso dunque un prodotto interessante, peccato manchi il supporto al 5G, in compenso ha l’NFC. Da migliorare l’interfaccia software, mentre per il resto direi che non ci si pu lamentare, forse un 100 in meno sul prezzo gli renderebbe maggiore giustizia.
Mi hanno invitato a provare uno smartphone rugged. L’invito arriva a pennello perch ho appena distrutto il mio ultimo cellulare comprato meno di un anno fa.
Il marchio mi viene nuovo, Doogee il telefono il modello s98pro, mi accingo a guardare le sue caratteristiche anche perch sconosco completamente sia il marchio che il telefono, poi io sono un tipo esigente per i telefoni con il lavoro che faccio voglio sempre a portata di mano un cellulare dalle buone prestazioni se poi aggiungiamo che quasi indistruttibile fatta. Leggendo le sue caratteristiche mi convince su tanti aspetti, su altri mi fanno storcere un p il naso, ma aspetto che arrivi per trarre le conclusioni.
Il package davvero bello, ben curato, sicuramente la doogee non ha n problema di spazio nel trasporto ne tantomeno di ridurre le dimensioni per l’utilizzo di materiali, la confezione bella di quelli grandi niente di minimalista che tutto sta a pressione, aprendo in un colpo d’occhio troviamo ben sistemati il cavetto che da entrambi i lati usb/C, il caricatore da ben 33watt e per finire in bella mostra il nostro telefonino.
Prendo subito il cellulare, il primo pensiero che mi viene, pesante, nel confronto con altri smartphone in effetti pesante, in tasca si sente, non si pu dimenticare. In mano si ha la sensazione di tenere un telefono di un’altra generazione, possente, robusto con materiali che al tatto danno sicurezza e corposit, in pratica un carro armato. Parliamo dell’aspetto, non pensiate che sia un telefono studiato per le mani esili di una ragazza, non ha finezza, non ha eleganza, nessun particolare cromato un telefono fatto per mani che lavorano che fa sport, mani sporche e unte, un telefono che deve essere tenuto con forza e che non ha paura di entrare insieme a voi in luoghi poco accessibili.
Parliamo delle sue caratteristiche e prestazioni, se un telefono deve essere il tuo compagno in ogni situazione deve avere anche delle buone prestazion. Monta un processore della Mediatek Helio G96, la lettere G sta ad indicare gaming che si traduce in altissime prestazioni, ha 8 gb di ram e ben 256gb di spazio d’archiviazione, il software gira su piattaforma android 12, la touchwiz semplice ed essenziale per essere utilizzata anche in situazioni estremi. Il pannello un IPS e raggiunge un rateo di 60hz quindi per il gaming passate ad altro. Passiamo ai comandi, altre chicche su questo telefono, oltre ai tasti volume ed accensione che troviamo sul lato destro, sul lato sinistro troviamo un altro tasto che possiamo configurare facilmente come vogliamo, a seconda di un tocco, due tocchi o pressione prolungata possiamo attivare alcune funzioni o addirittura aprire applicazioni velocemente senza toccare il display, una vera comodit, il sensore di impronte lo troviamo sul lato destro, ha uno slot tutto suo, in pratica non inserito sul tasto accensione, impronte che funzionano 9 volte su 10.
Vado subito alle conclusioni. Nell’uso di tutti i giorni quasi perfetto, l’utilizzo del software dopo aver preso l’abitudine con la touchwiz semplice e veloce, non ha lag e le applicazioni funzionano benissimo.
Purtroppo la mancanza del 5g si sente nelle citt dove gi c’ questa tecnologia, per chi lavora con internet e smartphone una grossa pecca nel 2022, ma per l’80% dell’altra popolazione pu andare bene anche il 4g, peccato anche per il pannelo che un 60hz IPS.
Una chicca importante di questo telefono il comparto fotografico, niente di eccezionale per le foto ma ha la particolarit di avere una camera a raggi infrarossi per vedere completamente al buio con un risoluzioni di 20 MP, eccezionale anche la camera termica che funziona tramite applicazione ma ha una sensibilit straordinaria, se inquadrate qualcuno con la febbre vi indica anche la temperatura esatta, eccezionale.
Per finire l’aspetto che secondo me bello e accattivante come vogliono gli amanti del rugged ma sobrio per attirare anche quella parte che cercano un telefono “indistruttibile”
Ho avuto modo di provare questo smartphone Doogee e devo dire di esserne rimasta davvero sorpresa dalla robustezza e dalle funzioni esclusive , ma andiamo con ordine ad analizzarne bene gli aspetti e le caratteristiche salienti.
Ottimo il packaging con lo smartphone che arriva in una confezione di bella livrea ben blisterata ed igienicamente preservata.
Ottimi i materiali usati che lo rendono robustissimo anche se con un bel peso , ma e’ un telefono Rugged destinato all’outdoor e ambienti difficili dunque capace di resistere ad ogni evento e a cadute davvero rovinose per qualsiasi altro dispositivo similare.
Devo dire che mi e’ piaciuto davvero questo telefono S98 Pro 4G di DOOGEE. La prima cosa che ho testato e’ l#aggancio alla rete e con sorpresa ho visto un aggancio fulmineo oltre al fatto che gli alloggiamenti sono davvero blindati e capaci di resistere anche all’umidita’ dunque un tel adattissimo anche all’escursionismo in moto o mountainbike
La batteria di ben 6000 mAh una vera potenza , io pur con uso intensivo ho bisogno di caricarlo completamentee velocemente ogni2 giorni circa tramite la sua porta USB-C.
Mi piace cil sistema operativo Android 12 aggiornato, a questo si aggiunge la peculiarita’ dei suoi 8 GB di RAM e il suo processore octa-core che funziona a 2 GHZ rendendo il funzionamento super veloce e fluido senza bug e intoppi.
Ha ben 256 GB di spazio di archiviazione disponibile che e’ davvero enorme , ma supporta la possibilit di aggiungere altri 512 GB di rom tramite scheda TF all’occorrenza.
Davvero apprezzato il fatto che lo o schermo da 6 pollici abbia gi una protezione e che sia incluso anche un ricambio. Essendo FHD+, la qualit dell’immagine sullo schermo ottima. La visibilita’ e’ ottima anche sotto la luce diretta del sole del resto e’ stato concepito per l’outdoor/
Le immagini termiche sono fantastiche. Ci siamo divertiti tantissimo a usarlo. Anche la visione notturna ottima in quanto 20 MP.Queste sono funzionalita’ che non troverete in nessun altro smartphone ve lo assicuro e la cosa che mi ha piu’ sorpresa e che le misurazioni sono davvero precise e capaci di sopperire alla mancanza di strumenti appositi in ambito professionale.
Il prezzo e’ ottimo se rapportato alla qualita’ offerta e alla bonta’ costruttiva , a questo si aggiunge il fatto che essendo un prodotto molto robusto e’ destinato davvero a durare nel tempo.
Nel complesso, considero questo telefono termico un ottimo acquisto. Davvero apprezzabili le caratteristiche, la scorrevolezza e la velocit di esecuzione il tutto in un contesto di robustezza e gradevolezza estetica. .Spero che le mie osservazioni vi siano utili in ottica di acquisto correlata ovviamente alle vostre specifiche necessita’ personali.

Le fotocamere suono buone ma il software delle telecamere non eccezionale.
Software bruttino, ma funziona, sembra stabilissimo per ora
Per il resto il telefono famoso per la sua iper resistenza, cadute, pioggia, polvere etc. Adatto alla vita da cantiere (o a persone iper distratte)
Ovviamente, pesa tantissimo, tipo il doppio di qualsiasi altro telefono
Ma le protezioni costano e pesano.
E difatti questo telefono spesso lo si trova ben oltre i 500 euri. Forse tantini ..
