Dyson AM07 Air Multiplier Bladeless Tower Fan-AM07, 65 W

Can stand on the floor or work surface. Was worth it’s weight in gold this summer but very expensive. Very safe for children apart from it’s very light so they can easily lift it.

Pretty good would give 5 stars but not convinced it is anything other than a really good fan which of course you can get much cheaper by someone else, but probably not as funky.

Fabulous, fabulous item!!!!! Love the cooling fan sooooooooooo much! Already had the smaller dyson but this is exactly what we needed in this heat! Crazy hot English summer! Anyone thinking of buying a fan just get one of these! They’re totally amazing!

Simple to assemble and operate and looks good. Very quiet, especially on the lower settings (1 – 4). I’d been hoping for a fan I could use in the bedroom and this is the only fan I’ve been able get to sleep while using. On hot nights I switch it on when enjoying my bedtime reading then use the remote control to set it to 15 minutes snooze time at lights out. I’m normally asleep by the time it switches off. A simple but nice feature is that you can store the remote by simply popping it on top of the fan where it is securely held by a magnet thus making it more difficult to lose. A trivial feature perhaps, but I think it demonstrates the thought that has gone into the design of the whole.

My only criticism concerns its portability. If you wish to move the fan, you are instructed not to lift it by the fan column but only by the base of the unit. This makes it a little awkward – not that it’s by any means too heavy, but carrying a unit that tall by the extreme base creates a feeling of less than ideal stability.

A smart looking Fan. But disappointed with the amount of noise it makes. I thought it would be much quieter. Also the light on the front is very bright at night in the bedroom. The fan isn’t as strong as out 45 fan which this has replaced but at least you do not get a wind blast in your face like a normal fan. I think if I was in UK I would have returned it but I am overseas so too difficult to post back.

I’m very pleased. Expensive but stylish. Made a mistake buying a tempur mattress 2 years ago which I find unbearably hot. Have now invested in silk duvets which are light and cool and having the fan on the low setting of 2 at night is making a huge difference. At last I’m not having to spend 6 months of the year lying on top of the duvet to stop feeling I’m in an oven.

The only 3 reasons I’m giving it four stars rather than 5 are because of the price, and because of the lack of colour choices (though I probably would have chosen this one anyway, or black), and thirdly because I have had this fewer than 24 hours but I already think its brilliant — time will tell whether I upgrade to a 5th star based upon performance, maintain at 4, or am forced to reduce to 3.

It was delivered very quickly, and assembled equally fast without recourse to instructions (the instructions are very clear if they are needed).

It is extremely quiet, in comparison with bladed fans — but the lowest setting it hums gently like the fan in an aeroplane on its lowest setting. Which is ironic given that it shares an aerofoil design, though in the case of the airborne vehicle that is obviously outside.

You don’t need to tell you: it looks very cool!
