It worked perfectly until the wind decided to make into a kite!!!
Had it tied down, but the wind was so strong it took off. Oh well,
Just the chance of life.oh well a little humor of life!,,,

Received in good condition and well boxed. Easy for one person to set up (less than 20 minutes). Sturdy after anchored with stakes provided. The canopy top is tight and well made. The top vent does keep the flow of hot air out. I attached a sun-sail to one side with bungee cords for extra shade. I would recommend this product. Will purchase again when needed.
Best canopy you can buy! Use it for dog shows frequently and everyone notices how easy it is to set up and take down. Highly recommend anyone buying this canopy. We have two—one a solid blue cover. The other American flag design.
EDIT:
After informing the seller about the issue below, they immediately took steps to resolve the problem to my satisfaction. If “service after the sale” is important to you, you can buy from them with confidence. Upped rating to 5 stars.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Everything about this canopy is fine, except the roof locking mechanism when fully deployed didn’t lock out of the box. Fortunately I had a nylon strap to hold the roof together. I’ve contacted support and will revise my review based on their response.
This tent was very easy for me to put up alone. It has been up for the last week and withstood two storms. The vents let air in and out. I will be buying another one.
I am over 70 with back & shoulder issues. I was surprised that I was able to set this up entirely by myself. My experience with most of these canopies required at least 2, if not 3 or 4 people to set them up.
Perfect canopy for the beach . Received it on time nothing came damaged, just as described !
Best tent ever. I can put it up and take down easily.
Eagle Peak has great customer service. Responded withing 24 hours and replace being shipped. I have previously and will continue to buy Eagle Peak!!!
Love this product – the positive reviews were accurate. Ease of operation, great storage, quality construction – I have only had it for a couple weeks and I’ve used it twice already and Love it !!
Very easy set up and one person can do it. Today is my first time using the tent and the top is leaking. Held up ok with stakes and weights.
I’m a business owner and do events by myself so I was looking for a one person set up canopy. This tent was so easy to set up by myself and less than 2 minutes!
In the video you can see I pulled out the legs slightly (enough for me to get under), I went under the frame & pushed the center making the legs go out. From there you just extend the legs. It’s so easy to do!
If you’re looking for a one person canopy GET THIS ONE!
For you person to set up was very easy. Took some time but easy. Taking down was even easier. I would suggest to get leg weights to help keep the canopy grounded. Which I did acquire.
Love. I followed the directions on the case (which are surprisingly clear for instructions lol) and had it setup pretty quickly for my 1st time. Taking it down was simple as well. It rolls nicely and fit in my wagon too. I couldn’t get the top back into the case afterwards because I didn’t spend time to fold it neatly or stuff it. Held up in mild SoCal wind. It is heavy but not too bad since you’re only lifting it into the car. If you needed to carry it, it’s not impossible (I’m 5’4 with pretty weak upper body atm and I can). The color pops! Sturdy. Comes with 4 stakes (bring a hammering tool if your ground doesn’t give easily). Buy it.
This is the sturdiest canopy I’ve ever purchased. And this is the first one that uses screws for the supports! Our supports broke and the company replaced them – any other canopy have this? Well done!
I bought the item in April 2022. I set it up for a Thankgiving Family Gathering but the strong gusts of wind damaged two metal braces. I contacted Eagle Peak customer service and they sent me the assemblies as replacements without charge. I replaced the damaged assemblies and reinslalled the new parts without difficulty. I wanted to commend the customer service team for their kind and prompt response.
I bought this tent to use at farmers markets and craft sales. I’m an older woman and not as strong or agile as i used to be. I had no problem putting this tent up by myself. It wheels around well for transport. Only complaint is that it is nearly impossible to get the roof canvas and the frame back in the bag.
I have been using this tent almost weekly for farmers markets for about a year. The tent is sturdy with sandbag weights. It is not as tall as some higher priced and heavier tents. This is easy for me to open and close and wheel to my spot. The bag zipper did not hold up but I was able to repair at shoemakers. The tent screws should be tightened regularly. Get a hex key. I did lose 1 clip but the company sent me a replacement. I will be more careful to tighten them so I don’t lose them. The customer service for this company is great so I highly recommend.
From the start unboxing
*The tote bag it comes in, is a great quality and enough room to hold the canopy (the last canopy I had was to tight , when packing away,Struggled)
* The next thing I was happy with, was the ease of stretching the canopy frame open ( Trust me, much much easier)
The canopy top , the Velcro corners, the tie downs on the corners, the vented roof, grommets to help with rain and air flow and they even thought enough to put double material, (stitched) where the inside Velcro hooks to metal. Bonus bonus bonus!
* Pushing the canopy up, was well worth this purchase by itself, I wish I would have purchased this canopy first.
Highly recommend
Bought 2 of these pop up shelters and they are fantastic! Easy to set up, relatively sturdy, and store away when not in use. We had an issue with the tent as it got mangled in a bad storm and customer service was excellent and sent replacement parts – easy to fix..and then..good as new!
Thank you Eagle Peak for creating a quality product, but more importantly, being a responsive company that stands by your product and customers! Looking forward to using these for years to come!
I actually like this product very much! My one complaints would be it need waterproofing. I use it for camping and we need it for more than just shade
Wow!! This product and this company are amazing. I purchased this tent July2021. The video showed a woman able to set it up by herself. I was skeptical. I’m 4’11” and need all the help I can get. Well, they don’t lie. I can do it all by myself in less than 3 minutesalmost 1 handed. It is light, yet sturdy. I did purchase weights to go on the legs, but I rarely use them. Now let me brag on the company. I’d had it for 1 year and 1 month and the zipper on the roller bag broke. I reached out to Eagle Peak and they sent me a brand new roller bag free of charge even though it was a month after the warranty ran out. Their communication was prompt and they did what they said they’d do!! Strongly, strongly recommend this product and company!!!!
This is the second Eagle Ridge canopy we’ve had. We had a two-year-old frame for which the original canopy was destroyed. We found an Eagle Ridge canopy to fit the frame we had, and together they lasted another two years — until recently when I didn’t have time to take it down before a gale-force wind and rain storm hit, and it was destroyed. Before that it had held up in some very strong winds, but this was just too much (80 mph gusts). The frame was literally on its lasts legs (it had lost hardware and I had to improvise on that). So the frame twisted and collapsed, and punctured and ripped the canopy. No canopy can withstand that kind of treatment.
I really liked the quality of the Eagle Ridge canopy we had, and how snugly and well it attaches to a frame (excellent system of strategically placed velcro closures), so I ordered a new canopy and frame together.
I put it up yesterday (it’s the beginning of September as I write), since we’ll still get a couple of months use out of it before cold weather forces us inside. The frame is sturdy (straight-leg version) and well-designed. The canopy has a roof vent (very helpful in moderate to even strong winds), and comes with strong nylon cords attachable to the corners to help anchor it. We also use 16-pound water bags attached to each leg. Between those and the cords, the canopy is anchored quite well.
We use it on our cement patio, over our outdoor dining table, with the cords anchored in the grass around it.
An important aside: We’ve found that water bags work much better than sand bags: they’re heavier than most sandbags, therefore give more stability; and FAR easier to fill. And you can just drain them and put them away for the winter, and not have to drag heavy bags still filled with sand to wherever you’re going to store them.
Very easy to pop up and take down. Legs are a bit thin, could be a little sturdier. Quality seems okay, made in China so not surprisingly when quality lacks. Design and concept works great. For $139 I think it’s a little overpriced for the quality. But definitely worthy for easy and quick install. I wouldn’t guarantee longevity.
I bought a second shade because of just how easy this one was to set up compared to all of the others I have purchased over the years. Also, as a tall person, I can actually walk under it without ducking when it is fully extended.
The second one I bought had a defect that caused the center piece to break. The company was quick to respond via email. The necessary bolts for the broken piece were not sent and further damage resulted.
Although it took a few emails and some time, in the end, the seller provided a new shade.
It is great to experience such an awesome response for a product I have been happy to use!
I gave 5 stars for all categories because of the customer service and I still have another tent that has been problem-free.
I love everything about the tent, accept the wheeled bag. The wheels on the bottom of the bag make it too long to fit in my vehicle easily. I have an older Suburban and a non-wheeled pop-up bag fit easily across the back, this one has to go the long way on top of everything else. Also I have an Extra long wagon that easily accommodated a non-wheeled pop up bag, this pop up doesn’t fit. I though no big deal I’ll just use the wheeled bag. It was sooooo heavy this way, I would never do it again. Now if you are super strong or maybe a guy it might be no big deal, but I attend event alone or with my kids to help. If I can’t get a non-wheeled bag I will return for something else.
The pop-up was great though, I liked that it was vented at the top and had the small holes although I can’t honestly say if it made a difference, the day I used it was scorching hot. My kids and I set it up and took it down easily, it took longer to hook all the Velcro straps than it did to set up the actual pop-up. I would buy this product or brand again, my only issue is the wheeled bag. I might consider using the tent without the bag, but not sure that is practical.
Haven’t had a chance just yet to use it in the wild. I ordered it in time for vacay but the box, frame and roller bag were all damaged – so much so that I didn’t put the canopy on to try it out because I was afraid the broken bracket would rip it. I contacted the seller and had a resolution in minutes; support has been absolutely spectacular! They had an order for me through their own website with tracking, etc. (shopify I think). And they updated the Amazon seller message every time there was a status change, too.
It was all quick except the delivery taking ~11 days to arrive — as I was on vacation, this worked out really well for me. Otherwise, I probably would’ve been a little peeved on that front — we’re all spoiled by prime.
So far it’s been a great experience. I was able to put the whole thing together in the yard in maybe a minute, including unfurling and attaching the canopy – same timeframe for taking it down. It’s larger than I realized but I don’t mind the extra shade with the heat the way it is.
I plan to take this camping and to the beach, I don’t expect any trouble at all. It seems well built and I know support will be there if there’s any issue. Definitely would buy again!
This was not the pop-up ease I was hoping for. It took 2 friends to put it up, 4 of us to move it during the day as the sun moved, and 2 friends to take it down and put it away. It was very difficult to get the top into the bag once the base was in it. I liked it once it was up, but I only used it once so far, and it was not windy. I don’t know how it will hold up in the wind.
This canopy goes up so easy, literally with one hand (if conditions are perfect). On hard pavement, it’s easy for one person to put up. Yes, a one-person setup is tougher on grass, but not impossible. The secret — you push on a comfortable handle in the center and the whole thing pops up. Twist the handle and it comes down. The extension on the legs is the easiest I’ve seen work as the grips are large and easy to work — no more pinched fingers. The ones that are NOT United States or Texan flags have a vent in the upper center to allow heat to vent out. The canopy also has grommet holes along the sides to drain rain water (no more fun dumping the rain water on an unsuspecting brother, if you know what I mean you’ll like this feature). To emphasize, if you want the vent, don’t get the Texas or US flag. Also, consider the screen sides on the company’s site– I didn’t see their screen wall product on Amazon and therefore I don’t know how good it is and so I ordered from another vendor — works fine, but I would have preferred sticking to the same vendor. My only minor complaint is I wish the carrying bag was an inch-or-so longer so the canopy-and-frame would fit quicker in the bag — looks like the bag might be designed for the frame without the canopy. I’ve owned many canopies over the years — this is by far the best. I absolutely recommend this product.
I was skeptical that one person could put this up by themselves, but I was pleasantly surprised! It really is as easy as the demo video shows. I’m a female with lower back issues, and I was able to put this up and take it down by myself in minutes. Frames are sturdy and the canopy top is well sewn. Be sure to put your canopy top on before pushing up the center button – I forgot that the first time and it was a lot harder to get it attached when the frame is fully open!
I’ve purchased two of these so far. One was a cobalt blue that was “Used, Like New” sold by Eagle Peak through Amazon at a reduced price, and the other was a light blue/turquoise shade was “New”. Both colors are bright and pleasant, and had white painted frames.
There were some differences between the two – the one in “like new” condition came with a different roller bag that was roomer and had an exterior pocket for the stakes. However, I prefer the smaller bag that came with the “new” one – the tighter fit was MUCH more sturdy when standing it up on it’s end. The tighter bag was still easy to put the frame into, and the roomier bag allows the frame to flop around too much. I noticed that it tries tip over when storing it upright, whereas the one in the tighter bag is very stable when stored on it’s end. I noticed that the frame of the “like new” one didn’t feel as sturdy as the frame for the “new” one, and I think that larger bag might be part of the reason why.
Both roller bags were lacking a handle on the top end, and I think that would really help when pulling these. They are heavy, and having an additional handle on the top end (opposite side of the roller wheels) would help. The two that are on the side have you lifting and carrying more of the weight rather than dragging it behind you.
Even though one bag came with an external pocket, it was only big enough to store the tent stakes and cords – the canopy won’t fit in it. I don’t like to store my canopy top on the frame when it’s in the bag, so I purchased some clear PVC zipper bags with handles here on Amazon, and put the canopy tops in those. I’d prefer to have a large pocket for the canopy on the roller bag in addition to the tent stake pocket, so all the pieces of the canopy were together in one place. But for the price and ease of use, I’m very happy with Eagle Peak!
I can’t thank the person that answered the phone and dealt with my problem thank you it was last summer I got the canopy an and its been up and down quite a few times with no problem
Not everyone likes too much sun – even if it available!
This canopy is large enough for a table and four chairs to be shielded from both sun and light rain, whilst still allowing the grass to grow underneath.
I wouldn’t erect though without weighted bags holding at least two for the corners, with the others tied to some kind of sturdy support. I doubt the guy ropes plus tent pegs alone, would hold it in a wind…..
Have had issue with delivery but the Seller is Professional. Good Quality Value for money. Set up was too easy. Did it just in 15 minutes with two ppl. Beautifully made.
Easy to assemble, water resistance and sturdy in strong wind or windy
Brilliant 3×3 gazebo! Have tried a few and this is by far the sturdiest, so easy to erect and adjust. Have left it up in windy conditions with no adverse effects but have not had any rain since we bought it so cannot comment on the water proofness of it. Really pleased and would certainly recommend.
This was our third canopy purchase and after the last two, let’s just say we didn’t have our hopes up. We LOVED this canopy. On the first day we used it, assembly took less than 5 minutes despite a broken pole in the ceiling frame. We were a bit disappointed in the damage on the item since it was brand new, but since we were already at the beach, we didn’t have much choice. The canopy was still sturdy and held perfectly all day. The first day wasn’t too windy so we didn’t even need to use the sand bags we brought – the included stakes were enough. The second day though, when the wind picked up, we felt more confident after adding the sand bags.
Upon returning home, I contacted Eagle Peak to request a return and replacement due to the damage in the ceiling frame. They immediately approved my request and were incredibly helpful. In the end, we decided to just replace the ceiling frame instead of sending the entire canopy back and they were quick to oblige and ship the replacement piece. A quick, easy, and efficient customer service experience!
Overall, I think this is a great buy and made SUCH a difference to our days at the beach. 10/10 I would purchase again.
I needed a strong and sturdy gazebo for my market stall with so many different gazebos available I went with the 3m x 3m Eagle Peak canopy and what a brilliant product. It’s very sturdy, easy to open up and pack away – very impressed! Communication with Eagle Peak was top class too – a very happy customer.
It was so easy to assemble am short so even me could put the gazebo together. Have left the roof attached to the frame and stored in its carry case. Having wheels on the case so helpful no lifting. Can’t give any mark for waterproof as it not rain for a while but the UV protection is a bonus for the children, gazebo over them while in the paddling pool bought another one for when we have family over.
For years at the beach I have been using a quickShade 10×10 with 10 ft awnings on each end. It is awesome but heavy with a lot of poles and snaps to deal with. This one is not as heavy duty, but it has been fantastic as I needed something easier to set up and take down. I have used it for 5 days straight on Longnboat Key Florida, on the gulf coast. It goes up easily. I put it up by myself in about 5 minutes. It was very easy, although my 6’2′ frame does help. From the pictures you can see that I used the reusable grocery bags filled with sand to anchor the 4 corners with paracord, as the provided stakes are useless in the Florida sand. It gets windy in the afternoon , so of course if it’s not anchored it’s likely to become airborne and it will be instant scrap metal. Learned this with a previous canopy.
I also added a 10×10 shade sail the back facing the sun. It is secured under the canopy with small bungees at the corners and the center. The bottom edges are tied to sandbags with paracord and a bungee to allow for some give. You can see that this addition provides a huge amount of shade.
This is designed for shade, not rain or storms and not as a permanent structure. Use your head. Put it up for sun, make sure it’s anchored and bring it in if it rains or is windy.
I’ve worked in production for over 10 years, so I’ve setup my fair share of pop up tents. I have also owned several with my apparel company for markets and events and none of them were ever as easy and painless to setup as this Eagle Peak tent. I only had my last pop-up for 6 months, but after a few markets of setting it up myself, I either needed another person or a new tent.
Setting up a pop-up isn’t rocket science and are fairly quick to setup if you have a 2-3 people helping, but when a pop-up come off a production people treat it like a dirty diaper. Pop ups are usually around 60 lbs – 70 lbs and use 4 finger-pinching pins to lock in the top corners and 4 more finger-pinching pins to lock in the legs.
I wasn’t even aware of the features this tent had until I set it up for the first time, I had looked at several other tents before this one but were all the same weight so I started skipping to the weight section at the bottom. I was stoked this didn’t have the pinch pins and only has them on the legs because it uses a knob in the center instead of the 4 pins in the top corners.
If it hasn’t rained then I usually just collapse my tents with the canopy on to save time. I sped the clip up in the video but the actual time it took me to completely setup and take down the tent was under 3 minutes, which was by myself and moving at a casual pace.
The one thing I will say to keep in mind is wind. The tent comes with stakes which may help in light wind but I wouldn’t rely on them. Some events and markets actually require you have sandbags or weights so people aren’t tripping on cords all day …I personally would rather take my chances with the stakes.
The sandbag solution I came up was 2.6 gallon collapsible water containers (https://amzn.to/2OkOQXo) and grow bags (https://amzn.to/2ocSuIh). I’m sure you could also use black hefty trash bags which you’ll most likely need after the event anyway. 2.6 gallons is roughly 21.7 lbs and you can usually find water at a nearby gas station if not at your location.
