The very first time it was turned on there was a loud grinding noise coming from the motor area accompanied with a hot smell. Gave it a knock on the side and it stopped, so I tried it out.

The incline was just what I was after. It doesn’t go too fast, but combined with the incline I found it a good workout on the top speed.

I initially bought it to use at my standing desk, but of course with the incline my desk was not high enough, so I found myself hunching forwards. Not good. Probably fine if your desk goes high enough.

Anyway, the grinding noise kept coming back so I returned it. If it didn’t have the fault I’d probably have kept it and tried to raise my keyboard and monitor etc

As someone who spends a large chunk of the day at my standing desk, the EgoFit Walker Pro has become an integral part of my routine.

Straight out of the box, the Walker Pro was ready to go, no assembly required, which was a delightful convenience. It fits perfectly under my desk, not too bulky, and has just the right dimensions to give you enough walking space without intruding into your work area.

My main use for the Walker Pro is to get some light exercise in while answering emails or attending to other desk-bound tasks. The incline on this machine is fantastic – it’s just enough to get the heart pumping without leaving you out of breath, making it ideal for multitasking.

The only reason for my 4-star rating instead of a 5-star is the noise level. The product is marketed as whisper-quiet, and while it isn’t loud by any stretch, it’s a bit noisier than I had expected. It isn’t disruptive to my work, but if you’re sensitive to noise or work in a particularly quiet environment, it’s something to consider.

Overall, I highly recommend the EgoFit Walker Pro for anyone looking to incorporate some movement into their workday. It’s a great way to stay active, burn some calories, and reduce the health risks associated with prolonged sitting, all without leaving your desk. If you can tolerate a bit of noise, you’re in for a real treat with this under-desk treadmill.

The only caveat – I can’t speak to the longevity of it as I’ve only had it a couple of months, but so far I haven’t encountered any issues.

Heavier than I expected, but I won’t complain as it will sit in one place most of the time and I am not carrying it with me anywhere out of my house. Sturdy, beautiful, no issues at all with the remote nor anything else – I use it everyday as I work (during meetings, town halls), and when I am watching movies as well. This has improved my mood overall, as I have less and less time to exercise properly. Super approved.

This is a great product allowing me to get my daily steps in; i would not class this as a high end cardio device however if you are looking to be a bit healthier at home while casually watching tv this is great. I have not tried to use this at a desk however i believe this would not be ideal for use due to the incline that cannot be adjust and the small belt track.

I would not recommend this for a light jog, walking only. The platform is fairly short however this has its benefits of being extremely light and easy to move about and store. I am 5’10 and this is perfect for me.
I previously had the enchalon stride which was great for storage however could be a bit clunkly to move about due to its size and weight although it did fold up flat against the wall. It also had a large price tag at 1.5k. The Egofit Walker at 399.00 might be a little step with mainly being all plastic build however it was the only product while looking that offered the small foot print without hand rails as well as having a number of good reviews online.

I am hoping this will last the test of time, however so far apart from picking up alot of dust on the front panel from use (contacted Support and advised is normal due to the way its designed) it has held up well.

At the time of this review this under desk treadmill is 399. This is not something I ever thought I would need but like a lot of people i now work from home after the pandemic and was finding I just wasn’t getting enough exercise as i should. I have recently opted for a standing desk so thought this was the next logical option. This was easy to setup once I’d read everything and I was excited to try it. Being honest it took some getting used to as I’m definitely not an exercise person but after just starting with a small 30 minutes each day I’m starting to really enjoy it. It feels sturdy enough and thankfully I haven’t had any issues with it. I hope i manage to keep up with using it as it really is a fantastic idea!

Deliberately heavy, but very sturdy treadmill, easy to store under the bed, not a hard task to find a space for this item. Works well, you can watch tv or anything and go for a walk to do your daily step count at the same time. Has remote that is easy to control, very satisfied with this treadmill.

The product arrived very well packaged, which is important considering how large and heavy it is. It was easy enough to set up out of the box, literally just plug and play. It includes a remote with buttons to start, stop, speed up and slow down. I’ve had no issues with the machine connecting to the remote and it works pretty instantly.

The machine is built well, it’s a solid piece of equipment and although it is very compact, it is also heavy. The gradient is very minimal and not tiring. I am 5’6″ and this suits me perfectly for walking even at the highest setting, however it may not be suitable for someone who walks with large strides. It would obviously be a really nice feature to be able to adjust the incline, but for a static incline, 5 degrees works well. It’s relatively quiet when in use, even on the highest setting.

I wanted to use it whilst watching TV and I don’t need the TV blasting the audio because of the machine running. It includes lubricating oil too for keeping it… ‘a well oiled machine’. I think it can be a bit misleading seeing a handlebar in the product images and also being called a ‘foldable walking pad’, as this product does not include the handlebar. It does show it in the table in the description, but it would be good to make this more obvious.

I’ve got a very unhealthy job of working on a computer at home so really need a way of keeping moving throughout my workday. I’ve started running also so thought this would be good for numerous reasons, and so far, I’m impressed.

      Pros:
      * Compact
      * Simple to use
      * Remote controlled

      Cons:
      * Quite heavy
      * No foldable handle as advertised
      * No preset programmes

First things first, the box this came in was huge so I did worry this was going to be a hefty piece of technology. However after unboxing and getting it out, it really doesn’t have a very large footprint for what it is (roughly 55cm wide and a metre long). It is very compact, but is very heavy (although durable and sturdy due to this).

I tend to store it on its’ side but I prefer to have it wedged between objects as if it fell, it could seriously hurt a pet or child!

It comes with lubricant, an allen key, simple instructions and the treadmill itself. This model doesn’t have a folding handle so is purely a floor treadmill with a fixed incline.

My partner is 6ft and at max speed he can walk comfortably on the treadmill at a brisk pace. It’s wide enough to accommodate his gait without him almost walking on the edges. I’m 5’3″ and it’s more than comfortable for me and I can get quite a power walk on too.

The belt itself is nice and textured, enabling great grip when walking with no detectable slip even at the highest speed. It also is designed with an incline too; this is better for the muscles in the legs and glutes to be better activated when exercising.

The motorised component is very quiet, which is surprising. I can quite easily use this whilst in a video meeting and sometimes very basic computing tasks without it impeaching on my ability to hear people or concentrate.

It comes with a remote control, which, although very basic, gives you adjustability as you walk. You start off by pressing play and the treadmill will count you in on 3, starting at its’ lowest speed, and then using the plus/minus buttons you can change the tempo mid activity.

There are also start and stop buttons. The stop button will gradually slow the treadmill down to a standstill alowing you to disembark when you’re finished.

It’s a really simple piece of technology to operate but I can’t help but feel some programmes for fitness would be great, like hills and slowing/speeding up. But, it isn’t sold as that sort of device so it can be forgiven for that.

The design of the treadmill is quite nice. It has silver casing which is plastic, which isn’t so much an issue as it will keep the weight down if you want to move it around the house (although saying that, I do find it hard to lift). It does have wheels on one side too, which also helps!

What isn’t so great is that it doesn’t seem to have handles on the far side from the wheels and this makes it a little more cumbersome to maneouvre but I manage on my own at 5’3″.

There is a screen on the front of the treadmill. It displays steps taken/speed/ calories burnt and time elapsed. These are all good, basic measurements, but obviously for more accuracy you’d probably want to use heart monitor alongside it to more accurately track calories.

The weirdest thing about the treadmill is that it doesn’t have a folding handle as advertised. I’m not entirely sure why, but this means I don’t feel comfortable jogging on it and the model we have can’t really be intended for that, which is a shame. It’s not quite large enough like a gym treadmill to jog comfortably.

Overall, I’d say this is a great piece of kit. I don’t see myself moving it around place to place all that often due to the weight, and I won’t be jogging on it, but for working from home in an office setting, it’s absolutely perfect.

They say being sedentary can shorten your lifespan, so honestly, making sure I have a timer that reminds me to get up and move and if I don’t have much time I can just get on this and check the news and get some steps in.

I would also say this would be great for anybody getting back into fitness and wants to take it slowly.

It’s a compact solution for homeworking or general fitness and even though I don’t recognise the brand, so far with use and how it looks and feel, I trust the quality and it seems reliable and safe. Great item, and not a bad price for what it is – I do wish it had the handle though as that would have been awesome.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! This treadmill has been an absolute game changer. I’m not one for going for outdoor runs and this has enabled me to exercise within the comfort of my own home. It’s quite heavy so you wouldn’t be able to take it upstairs or downstairs often, so you need to make sure you’re able to store it in the room you’ll be using it in. Ours is propped up against the wall so we can just get it out as and when we please. You have to have fairly good balance when using it if you do not have a bench to hold on to. I like the fact you don’t have to use the app to get it going, you can simply press play on the remote to start it and it will start. Or if you’d like to keep track of your progress you can download the app. The app is very easy to use and once it’s connected to your device there’s loads of different workouts on there for you to try out. There is also a quick start option if you are just wanting to just get on and get going. The remote is easy to hold in your hand and it also has a cord attached so you can put it round your wrist to avoid dropping. There’s a start button, a stop button and plus and minus buttons to increase or decrease the speed. The speed settings go from 1 to 5, with 5 being the fastest setting. I find I can walk comfortably on setting 4.5 and I will use 5 for a jog. Honestly I can’t recommend this product enough. It really has been an absolute game changer in my eyes.

This walking treadmill is easy to set up straight out of the box. Just plug it in, put the batteries (provided) into the remote, and you’re ready to go. I got the version without a handlebar, but if you have this as well you will of course need to fit it following the instructions provided.

As others have noted, it’s a compact treadmill, so you have to keep your steps fairly short. If you have the version without a handlebar, I recommend starting at the lowest speed and being very careful if you have any balance issues. Probably the best way to use it is in conjunction with a standing desk on which you can steady yourself if needed.

One small criticism is that it’s not easy to see the controls on the remote as the icons are recessed rather than being a different colour (see photo). My eyesight isn’t the best and I struggled a bit with this at first, though of course in time you remember where the buttons are and what they do.

Those small criticisms aside, it does seem to be a good piece of kit. I have been using it in front of the TV while watching the World Cup in Qatar, which has at least stopped me becoming a total couch potato. I like the display that shows you various data including how long you have been walking and the distance you have allegedly travelled. It seems to be robust and well made, and the inclusion of two bottles of special lubricating oil is a nice touch. Four stars from me.

This is the handleless model which personally I can’t use as I have a damaged foot so I need to hold on to something when using a treadmill, gutted to say the least so I was wondering if I purchased the handle is there somewhere on the unit to fit it?

It’s very sleek, smart and highly portable!

I love the fact that it has a remote control and an incline.

My kids are getting more use out of it than I can so at least it’s keeping them fit!

The power adapter is quite long so no worries about it reaching the nearest sockets.

Unfortunately it doesn’t fit under my sofa so it has to be stood up in the hall when not being used.

It’s not noisy either, it’s made to a high standard so I highly recommend.

I unpacked and set up the treadmill on my own. Well there is not much to have to set up with the treadmill. Apart from connecting the mains kettle cable and placing batteries in the remote control. The product listings states the remote control takes a CR2032 battery but my received remote control was supplied with and uses two AAA batteries. Unsure as to why mine is different to the listing. Old stock/stock shortages/manufacturing issues? I do like the stretchy silicone wrist strap on the remote control.

There is a QR code to get three different Apps. They aren’t needed to use this walking treadmill.

Being rather tall. I found I had to adjust my walking on the treadmill to shorter strides. This didn’t take me long to get used to. Although my walking speed was initially reduced from what it usually is, as a result. Further use of the treadmill and becoming accustomed to the smaller strides, I was able to increase my walking speed. A couple of times I got things wrong and I came off the rear of the treadmill. The combination of needing to constantly take shorter strides and the 5 degree incline means the faster speeds this product is capable of, appear to be rather quick. And yet in real life I am capable at walking well over 3 miles per hour. But as previously stated, my walking strides are longer.

This treadmill does not have an emergency stop function. Pressing stop on the remote gradually slows down its speed. Do ensure you have space around the treadmill (especially at the rear and to a side), if you really need to step/jump off it. Although you could quickly position yourself either side of the belt, on the frame of the treadmill. Both areas seem quite narrow and if misjudged either your shoes or feet will drag on the belt or they may fall off the outside towards the floor and causing a loss of balance and potential injury.

It is not silent but it is not too noisy either when it is running. Or maybe that should be walking! People are likely to hear it during phone calls and the noise could well disturb other people in the same room.

Having two wheels towards one end makes it really easy to manoeuvre but it is stable when it is being used.

The instruction booklet is easy to comprehend. I would have preferred a clearer explanation of the maintenance of the treadmill, when it comes to applying silicone oil every few months. It does not state the quantity required and whether a few drops is needed or one or more lines of the oil need drawing across with the applicator.

I have been a bit surprised by this product. It is better in some ways than I was expecting it to be. How the speed it is capable of appears to be considerably faster in use than I thought it would be. But also quite limited in others. Such as my walking stride restriction and the width of the treadmill belt. The instructions booklet could be improved too. As there are some contradictions in it. Such as the required surrounding space. The grammar and comprehensive nature of it should be improved. It is a shame this product does not have a folding hand rail with an emergency stop facility. But then another product is available for sale by the manufacturer which has these features. Personally I think I would actually prefer to have a full sized treadmill with the faster speeds capability, emergency stop, and with a wider & longer belt. Although that is missing the point of this product being made and sold to be used while someone is working. My preference is to keep the exercise to leisure time and keep the work time separate. Consider carefully what type of treadmill is most suited to your needs.

With the weather being very hit and miss of late, having access to a treadmill is a great way to get your step count and exercise levels up without getting soaked or freezing in the cold outside, so this treadmill from Egofit is an excellent choice to keep in the house or garage.

The treadmill arrives in quite a large box to keep it safe, and included in the box are the instructions, remote control, power cable and spare oil to lubricate the treadmill (In the detailed instructions it shows you where you need to add the oil/lubricant and at the intervals needed depending on your usage, plus the walker/treadmill. This was my first ever walk on a treadmill that had no arms to hold onto, so I move this next to the wall unit so I can hold on until I get my treadmill legs (even down the gym I have to hold on).

The treadmill goes up to 5kph which doesn’t seem a lot, but when I tried that I fell off the back, so maybe I should build up to that in future. The treadmill has an incline built in which is great as it gives you a little more of a workout than a flat surface, but there is no way of increasing or decreasing this should you want a harder or easier workout. The base of the treadmill is covered so its kept away from the carpet and should also stop anything getting inside it a little.
The remote control works well, with a start, stop, increase speed and decrease speed buttons, and a wrist loop to stop you dropping the remote mid workout. in the short video, I was using the app to see how that functioned so the treadmill was only going at 1kph and I was too engrossed trying to increase it in the app rather than use the remote. I am 5Ft 9″ tall, and have a normal gait (and am also not a runner), but for taller people that are runners you may find the treadmill stride length and speed lacking for you (although if you are running in the same spot I guess it doesn’t matter if you are 2 foot tall or 7 foot tall really.
The instructions also say that the treadmill takes up to 242.5lbs (which is 110 KG) and I am pretty sure I am heavier than that, and so far it has not complained about me being on it.

My only issues with the treadmill are that is is really quite heavy, so manoeuvring it about is a workout in itself, unless you have space to leave the treadmill out. There are wheels om the end to help with lifting the rear end and pushing but if you are moving it somewhere out the way, its heavy. The other issue is the need to register to use the app. In the instruction sheet it says you can use the app without registering, however on android you have to register to use it as there is no way to skip this step.

Overall though this is a fantastic treadmill, and whilst it seemed a little pricey, you can certainly tell it has a good build quality and should last you a long time.

This is a handy treadmill to have. But be sure you understand this is a walking treadmill not for running or jogging.
Due to the compact design the length of the treadmill is pretty short but absolutely fine for walking strides.
Setting up is really easy, I unpacked I within minutes, although it was pretty heavy I could do this by myself. It was then just a case of finding a flat floor space and power supply to plug into. The power lead is about 2 m long.

The treadmill has a remote control so that you can change the speed without stopping.
The treadmill does not come with the support frame for anything to hold onto whilst walking, which would be great to include and for the price just under 400 I would expect it to be in the box.
Overall the unit works well and is smooth to operate and change speed.
Really useful for increasing your step count without going outside.

This is fantastic if you are short of space. Very compact so doesn’t take much storage space. It is very sturdy. Easy to set up, just plug in and you’re set to go. Controllable via the remote which works perfectly. Starts, stops and increases or decreases the speed. Goes up by half increases until you reach level 5.
I was a little unsure how stable I would feel with no hand rest but it is very easy to walk on. Ideal for gentle walking to increase your steps or you can increase for a more intense work out.
Also came with 2 bottles of lubricant to keep the treadmill well lubricated.
Easy to manoeuvre and move around

So simple to use. Ours arrived and was unpacked and set up within minutes. The remote works well too. Have yet to make use of the app but can definitely be used without, as it’s as simple as just turning it on and walking. Once done, it was wheeled to its storing location. There are wheels at the top end so you can push it along. Lightweight, solid and so simple! Definitely recommend it.

I have considered getting a treadmill for a while, to encourage me to keep moving (especially in bad weather) I’m not a runner, so this is just about walking, for me. I need something that can be stored away and just brought out when I want to use it, as I don’t have enough space to have something set up permanently.

So far, this walker suits my (admittedly, rather basic!) needs pretty well.

It looks/feels well-built and robust. It’s very heavy but does have wheels one end to move it around more easily. I was hoping to be able to store it under a sofa or something and pull it out when needed, but it’s too deep for that, so I’m just standing it on one end at the moment (not ideal, but do-able!) No great set up is needed if you just want to get going – just get it out the box, put batteries in the remote, plug the machine in and away you go.

It’s on a set incline, which isn’t adjustable. Fine for me as I’m just walking on it and looking at it as a way to keep moving, rather than doing major running/workouts on it. I prefer it being on an incline, rather than just flat.

As some other reviews mention, the walker is quite short. So, if you are tall/have a long stride, this may not be long enough for you.I’m 5’8′ and, while it is not too short for me, it does feel like there’s not much room at either end!

It’s going to take me a bit of time to get used to walking on it (because it isn’t very long and because there’s nothing to hold on to) And I do sometimes whizz off it when it stops! But I think, with more practise, I’ll get used to it and will improve at it.

Overall, I’m really pleased with it and I’m looking forward to getting into a routine of using it more.

First things first – this treadmill is very heavy – when looking at it it might not seem so big or heavy but it is. Definitely needs two people to carry it. It has 5 speeds- as you can see in my video i almost fell when reaching level 4, might be because i am out of practice or maybe because also after level 4 you will not be walking but running. As a bit of advice take it slow and get used to it to be able to have stability – it is not the same as the gym treadmill as this one does not have handles and you will not have anything to reach if needed. For me it is the right amount of height and inclination. Definitely, this is one of the best exercising products that i have ever had for home use and I did tried a few. Also the remote is working just fine, had no problems with it, of course, i will need to change the batteries when they run out. The wheels are an amazing addition when finishing working out, you don’t have to carry it, just lift it and put it next to a wall to save space. Great product, so happy this is out on the market.

Very clear instructions and no installation required, nice and compact, Easy to storage when not in use, so doesnt take up too much room.

It’s pretty solid, the belt doesn’t stick at all, there are plenty of programs to choose. It Has great variable speed, and doesn’t take a lot of electricity while in use and has a quiet motor.

It takes a little bit of time to get used to walking on it as it has a slight incline, but If the pace feels too slow or fast it’s very easy to alter it gradually without having to stop.

Half an hour feels more like i’ve been walking for an hour on the roads. The natural incline is great for a workout but if you’re someone who struggles walking uphill this might not be for you.

My only gripe is A longer power cable would be helpful as it can’t be used with an extension cable.

This machine will stop you being a couch potato.

Assembly was very straight forward. It is a compact treadmill but it is heavy, however the underneath wheels make it easier to move it around.

Sound level is good to me – not too noisy I can easily watch tv while exercising.

The build quality is great. It’s solid and sturdy enough, even the plastic edges. The screen is clear, easy and simple to understand.

It comes with a battery controller and there is also an app where you can operate the treadmill.

We keep it by our office desk in my lounge and it fits nicely.
The only negative I would say it is about where the power plug is positioned. It would be much more useful if it was at the end of the treadmill, as it would enable me to store it upright.

Overall – it is a great quality, nice looking and compact treadmill. Highly recommend.

I reviewed the treadmill that does not have the handle. There is a version which has a little more speed, a safety switch, and a handle/bar. I am giving it 5/5 for the review, even though it isn’t perfect. The treadmill meets the intended purpose well.

If you are after a treadmill to go somewhere where there is limited room, like with a standing desk in an office, and you are just interested in walking without bells and whistles, this could be the treadmill for you.

This is written after ‘a week’ of use (I might have been a bit lazy)

Feature Small: 5/5 I think this is as small as you can sensibly get it.
I am 5′ 10″ ish. At speed 4 at full stride I was feeling the bumpers at the front and the back of the treadmill whilst I was walking on a conference call.

Feature Lightweight: 5/5 It is listed as 15KG. This is well below the usual suspect for a 2 man lift.
There is a need for the device to have some sturdiness to it, and for me, 15KG isn’t that heavy. The treadmill does have two wheels at the front which work for moving it backwards and forwards for me, I can achieve this with 1 hand

Feature Elegant:4/5. I am not sure I would call it elegance, but as far as a treadmill under your desk
goes, it isn’t horrendously ugly. Stylish might be a better item to judge it against, it is a light grey with red flashing, it curves nicely, doesn’t jar the eyes.

Feature Ease of Control:5/5. There are two answers to this, the App and the remote control.
If we ignore the app for a minute, the remote control has 4 buttons, start/stop, faster/slower. You can’t really get more easy than that

Feature Ease of maintenance:4/5. It wasn’t massively easy to oil the machine, and I think that the
instructions could have been clearer (they do have a video available too). However, as far as mechanically how to oil the machine, I can’t really see how it could have been made easier. I found it difficult to release the walking band enough to get my fat hand in, so in the end I put the machine on its side and dripped the oil down the slope to get to the middle, and then did the same from the other side.

Feature Quiet operation: 5/5. For what it does, it is pretty quiet, again I don’t see how it could be
made much quieter. I have used it whilst on a meeting with a conference mic that picks up the sound of my laptop, and I asked my colleague whether they could hear it (they couldn’t)

There is some discrepancy over the weight that the device will support. One place says 110Kg another 100Kg. If you are above the 100KG mark you might be best to check which is correct. I am about 75KG apparently (I think the scales might be under-reading), I can’t feel anything that makes me feel that the treadmill will collapse yet.

The incline is fixed to 5%. This doesn’t sound like much. I am not that unfit, I can walk at quite a pace for several hours (used to do a lot of hiking) and wouldn’t usually break a sweat. However, either the pace is wrong on the machine, or the constant 5% really does make a difference. It doesn’t feel like you are walking uphill at all. However after 30 minutes at speed 3 (out of 5), I am feeling warm.

I have tried it a few times at speed 5. Most were successful, but I have to say that it is a bit like a slow jog, and it is a little unnerving just having a desk in front of me. I guess it is something I will get used to.

Included in the package was an Allen key, two bottles of lubricant, a manual and extra sheet on quick setup.

The instructions for the lubricant range from 1 year for light use (1 hour a day) to heavy use (5 hours a day) being every 3 months

Does it fit under a desk? Yes. I am actually using this under a large standard desk. I am using a secondary table/tray to raise my keyboard and mouse up to working height. I have removed my footrest (possibly only temporary, I need to work out final positions) and I am using the treadmill as a footrest whilst I am sitting. When I want to use the treadmill, I wheel my chair backwards, pull the treadmill backwards and start walking immediately.

Manual – quite comprehensive. Diagrams showing how to maintain. There is a separate sheet on downloading the APP (also included in the manual).

Somewhere on the unit it does detect your real steps. Not quite worked it out, some sessions it under records for me. Other sessions it is quite accurate. My 3 year is fascinated by the product, and has asked to go on it several times. I have allowed her whilst holding her. It doesn’t detect her footfalls at all.

App version on the QR code is version 3.0.2. It is claimed that the login page can be skipped. On google play, the app version is 3.4.8, and it didn’t appear possible to skip the login function.

In the app, the functions appear a bit limited. Although on the face of it you can set up workouts etc. as the device can’t change the incline, and the speed settings are different, then the workouts don’t appear to function. To me this is the biggest failing of the product. This treadmill has a maximum speed of 5. Even the brisk walk routines I have found go to a speed level 6, so they just don’t work. When I tried to use the create plan function, it did similar and generated speeds that could not be achieved on this treadmill. To re-iterate though, I was using the latest version of the application from google play, not the version downloaded from the website. Perhaps the older software works better.

The app does have a ‘quick start’ function, which allows you to record distances at your own speed, and shows a lap of where other people are doing in relation to you. It also has a goal function which allows one to set a time, distance or calorie burn up.

This might sound strange, but the fact that there are so many functions in the app which are not available, makes the treadmill seem less functional, like you are missing something. However I should keep reminding myself that this is not a running machine that replaces a trip to a gym, it is a tool to allow one to perform light exercise whilst doing other tasks such as computer work. One could easily read a book whilst using this treadmill.

I think the instructions said not to use it without shoes. I have been using It barefoot on occasion. The centre of the walkway does feel like it gets warm.

Most importantly, both the app and remote control are responsive. When you press stop, the treadmill will immediately start to reduce its speed and stop. It does this in such a way as to give you time to stop walking.

There are many more real pros than cons IMO.

      Pros
      – ‘easy’ enough to store/use that I don’t really have an excuse not to use it 🙁
      – The 5% incline appears to make a significant difference to the energy used
      – It is quiet enough to use whilst listening to calls/conferences
      – It is quiet enough to use whilst on the phone to good colleagues (ones that won’t laugh when you fall off, they might not hear the treadmill, but they can hear you hit the floor)
      – Small enough to hide under a desk
      – Relatively light (I can move it single handed)

      Negatives:
      – App doesn’t fully support this device. This device doesn’t appear to work with anything but the FS app
      – The 5% incline makes the unit quite high, I am standing 15cm above the ground (this isn’t solve-able for the unit, I am looking into a movable monitor arm)
      – (the unit I got doesn’t have a bar) – if that is important there is a unit that does
      – (the incline is fixed) – this is the design of this unit
      – The speed is limited.

I am finding it difficult to use the keyboard whilst at level 3 or above. It takes some concentration to not fall off the device. With time I suspect this will come easier.

5.0 out of 5 stars Small, quiet, slightly basic

      Brilliant construction!
The product came in a big box, already assembled, so there is not much to built.
In the bag provided with the product includes, 2 lubricating fluid, a screw tool, remote, user manual.
      Appearance:
It is well-made. I am quite impressed with the construction, even though it is made of plastic all the way around. You can even stand on the side, if you need to take a break. The walking pad is quite sturdy. It is naturally built inclined, front display on top with speed, steps, calories, distance. It has an oil cap on the inclined side for lubricated oil. The side handles are ergonomic, tends to move it around easily and are non-slip. The front 2 wheels are very convenient to push it along under the desk, bed etc.
      Features:
      * In term of space, it doesn’t take much space which is good for small houses & apartments. It can easily fits in under the desk, table or bed.
      * It smoothly runs & doesn’t make that much noise.
      * The maximum load is 110kg, in term of speed, it is upto 3.1 miles/hrs.
      * It is function for walking not running.
      * The remote is by radio wave, not infrared, so you don’t have to point it.
      * It also runs through smart app
      Smart app features:
It has an app to download with the name FitShow app. The app is interesting, I am quite impressed with the app features.
      * You can make your profile
      * The app asked for age & weight, in order to record burning calories, record speed, progression
      * It allow you to compete with other people around online.
      * Do recommend courses & how to run examples.
      * Download options for back ground walking
      My Experience:
I am impressed what this machine can do.
First of all, I naturally used the machine with barriers, but straight away, I feel much more comfortable walking on the pad. When coming off the machine, the moter start to make clicking noise, but under load, it doesn’t make any noise, but more like a friction sound of belt.
Furthermore, there are other options as well, like if you want to sit down and just move your legs to keep your circulation going, you can do it by sitting on the seat and walk along down part of machine.
Furthermore, Incase of lost remote, you can still use smart app to increase the speed which is a very great option, no need to worry about losing remote. I personally prefer smart app because I don’t need to look on the display when under the table while cutting my vegetables or using my laptop or even clicking remote buttons.
Moreover, the plastic cover under the machine is the best thing because it helps avoid the belt touching the surface and causing any burning smell, so it is nice to see that it has actually plastic cover.
      Overall, great experience!
Thanks for reading & I hope my information is useful to you.
Any questions regarding product, happy to help.

Working from home is part of a lifestyle routine that I’ll never think would happen anytime soon but since Covid, everything has been fast-tracked into a more digital world with a better work-life balance. However, WFH does have its drawbacks, like missing out on your daily walking exercise and since most of the masses live in apartments, it’s harder to find the time and space to exert some sweat.
This is where this space-saving walking treadmill comes in. It’s compact and comes fully built. All you need is to plug it in.
You can use the remote to control the treadmill download the app and control it through there.
This treadmill is basic but it works, the speed ranges between 1 and 6 mph and you can also increase the gradient by up 5%. This may not seem much but after 10000 steps or so, everything is felt between your toe tails to your ear lobes.
Ultimately, this is a very good walking machine, not a running machine but a walking machine that will help you reach the magic number of 10000-steps per day.
Although pricey, you do pay for quality and convenience. Just like how a PC is priced cheaper than a less-powered laptop.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFirst impressstion, very compact and light wight for easy transport. The foldable design are ideally for people who prefer do some serious running without go outdoor, not to mention it can also save you some money to pay gym membership.

Another unique feature they implemented, is safety mechanism, what they do is you have to use this magnetic clip in order to use this treadmill, which mean is if you fall off during your exercise which will make magnetic disconnect from main display and will force treadmill to stop to prevent future damage to your body.

I haven’t used this too much yet but is absolutely perfect for my purpose. I already have a full sized treadmill in my garage, so bought this one for use in the house for getting my step goal or using with my partner when we both want to use a treadmill. It’s easily transported about.

I wanted to be able to run/jog too, so the fact that it goes 10kph is great/6 min per Km. Faster running is done on the big treadmill, but I felt very happy running on it as opposed to the safety of the full treadmill. For people who don’t want to run fast or walk and watch TV etc, I thoroughly recommend.

I also like the fact that it’s ready to use straight out of the box. My one confusion, however, is that it is pictured stored on it’s end where the power cable comes out. Surely this is not to be recommended and the wire will be broken within a certain amount of use?

Also, just to add, I tried using it (even just walking) in my bedroom, and the noise was awful for the other people in my house. Using downstairs on the solid floor is great.

Lots of features for such a small thing!!Remote controlled, robust walking path ,safe starting and stopping.Amazing grip on the highest speed.Less than 30 kg weight. For 600 W power (less than a hoover) electricity consumption won’t be noticeable. The biggest problem with those walking machines is the rotating board is moving on the sides with the time.We will see with this one as it is quite solid build.

5.0 out of 5 stars So far,so good! Small and compact and works properly.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have to say im really impressed with this treadmill, my only criticism is that it is heavy and also it would have been nice to have a little stand or something to keep it upright when not in use as it is made for a small space but you need somewhere and somehow to store it when not in use. It us very well built though, it feels like a premium product. Included in the box is also a remote control, oil and a little allen key to adjust the belt if needed.
I am a 6ft 2 male and have to adjust my stride ever so slightly because it is quite short but that’s not a big problem for me but maybe for some. I didn’t really have an issue using it, once you get your stride and rhythm then all is good.
I really like the large screen on the front, it is on the base as the treadmill does not come with any sort of handle bar, it is bright simple and easy to read while walking. It is really simple to set up, take it out of the box, plug in the power lead, press the on button and then press go on the remote control, it then counts down from 3 before it starts to make sure you are prepared.
The remote is simple and easy to use with start/stop and up/down for speed, that’s it but it is all you need for the basics, if you want anything more there’s an app you can download which gives you more control.
I was really impressed with the app, it is simple and easy to use, looks professional and connects quickly to the treadmill. You can just start it with one tap and away you go, it gives you a bit more granular control of your speed and has visual aids such as a lap to give you something a little extra,
The treadmill works well, it does not go fast but this is for walking and note running and im a big walker to help keep my weight down, I try to do over 8,000 steps a day and sometimes when it is raining it is just not possible so this will give me the chance to keep my steps up in all weathers. The incline also does give you a good workout at the slightly faster speeds. I
To move it around it has wheels on the front, which are needed as this thing is heavier than expected, it’s a lot lot heavier than it looks. I would not really use it as suggested under a desk, for me this is to use when watching TV, listening to music or the radio. It’s for people who maybe don’t run and have not used treadmills before but want to keep healthy and for that it’s a winner.
I would have liked some way to stand it upright better for storage, it is heavy and some taller people may struggle with the short length but then the short length is the point, if not you might as well get a full size one.
It works well and does what it sets out to, the incline is also nice as it feels a little like you are walking up a gentle slope. It is a simple home treadmill that does the basics well and does not take up too much space, it isn’t perfect and it is expensive at 399.00 (with a 20 voucher) as of November 2018 but it works really well and it is simple and easy to use.

4.0 out of 5 stars Simple, easy to use and works well, nice clear display works via remote or app

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWhile the walking treadmill is compact, it’s not lightweight and seems a robust machine. It has two wheels and grab handles as seen in the photos but as it’s on a permanent incline it’s death is higher so storage under say a sofa or bed may not be possible. I would say it’s better suited if under 6ft, over 6ft and your stride length may mean your standing on the rollers, this is less of an issue if walking fast or jogging as chances are only one foot is in contact.

A simple on off button, but start up and off is by remote only. This works fine and controls the speed, with a countdown start up and reducing speed power down. It goes from a very slow walk to around a speed walk, or light jogging, but as it’s on a permanent 5 degree incline you get a slightly increased workout over a flat walker.

I downloaded the app, it connects up immediately, and you can control the treadmill like the remote. It can link data to the iOS health app, and assume this may be the same with android equivalent. The app covers other equipment, but from a walking perspective you can walk routes on maps and even download walks. This is good as the image/video moves at the speed you are walking, so feels like your walking the route. This would be ideal if you can cast from your phone or get the app on a tv as the image would be bigger and get more of a sense you are walking a route.

It’s relatively quiet and could be used with a standing desk to walk while you work and ideal way to get some exercise in especially if the weather is bad. 30 minutes light jogging and I feel like I’ve given my cardiovascular system a workout, pulse rate increased. It arrived well packaged and comes with some lubricant for the belt and Allen keys for adjusting tension or if it runs on a slight angle. No pull cord so balance is important especially if going faster, you can stand on the side rails if needed. At the time of reviewing the price is higher than some, but no issues, the machine works fine, just consider stride length before buying.

4.0 out of 5 stars Check your stride length, may be short if over 6f

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI thought this would go well with my standing desk. A couple of years worth of working from home is taking its toll on my back despite the fact I often stand when working. Its most probably due to the lack of mobility when I’m not walking between meeting rooms and through an office.

First off, this box it comes in is huge, it will need two people to shift it around the house.

Once opened. Its already all together and just needs the power cord plugged in and batteries added to the remote.

The build quality is outstanding, metal nearly everywhere but the bit where you place your feet, each side of the track is heavy duty plastic. Still sturdy enough as underneath it is metal to support your weight. I don’t see this breaking anytime soon.

Once its out of the box its nice and easy to move around. its got rollers on the back and hand holds on the side. much easier when its out of the box.

Nice big screen that alternates between the speed, time walked, distance walked.

Works very well in use, its got a fixed incline so you are always walking uphill. 5 mins on my first try was more than enough to tire me out, showing how unfit I truly am.

The one negative I have with this is that the power plug is a straight one that sticks out from the back of the unit. This means it has to be unplugged every time you have it stored out of use. This isn’t idea for me as it just goes behind the desk upright when not in use. Due to this I had to buy a right angled kettle plug lead. Now its a simple stick the table to its highest setting, tilt the treadmill down and turn it on.

Overall this is a great product and well worth the price.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersIts quite heavy and needs 2 people to be able to pick it up. But you can lift it to move it back and forward as it has wheels on the top.
It has a countdown to get you ready to start walking so just keep your eye on that or you’ll get startled or fall.
It goes from walking slow to a gentle jog maximum.
I do wish it had handles or something to steady yourself with but for putting under a standing desk this would absolutely be perfect but if you are taller than 6 ft then maybe you might fall off or feel like you are gonna just as this is short not a standard length treadmill.
My mum is 5ft 2 and this is perfect for her
I’m 5ft 7 and it’s long enough where i dont feel like im going to fall off.
Partner is 5ft 11 (in the video) and he said he felt like he was gonna drop off the edge which made him uneasy

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersSince lockdown my fitness has been slowly going down hill but my anxiety has risen and I really struggle to leave the house alone anymore. Walking was one of my only forms of exercise and seeing as we can’t fit a full sized treadmill in our house this half size treadmill seems like a good compromise. But it does have a few negatives that you should consider when purchasing.

The treadmill came ready to use straight from the box. Just plug it in, turn it on and away you go.

It’s easily controlled by the remote (that turns it on, off and increase or decrease the speed by 0.5km/h increments) or you can download an app and control it via that. I’m not the biggest fan of the app but I’ll get to that in a moment.

The display is easy to read and jumps through the stats slowly as you walk. Shows speed, steps, time, calories and distance.

And though it doesn’t have a handle you can easily step onto the edges that have grips if you need to.

It really is a pretty basic walking treadmill though that doesn’t go faster than a gentle jog (or fast walk depending on your strides) and with no handle to steady yourself that’s probably a good thing.
It comes with a slight incline that you can’t change at all and has no programmes built in.

My biggest issue is that it’s short. Shorter than most other compact walking treadmills. My 6ft2 husband can’t use it at all as he keeps falling off the end as he’s stride are too long. At 5ft4 myself I have hit the edge at the bottom several times myself and it feels like it’s only just long enough for me.
I’d highly recommend measuring your own strides before getting this to make sure it’s long enough.

You’ll also need to make sure you’re not over the weight limit of 242.5lbs (which is around 17.3 stones or 110 kilograms) as my taller husband is nearing the limit.

Even though it’s small though it’s still very heavy. Too heavy for me to easily lift on my own, which make storing it away a little harder. It also doesn’t have any kind of handles to help.
It does have two wheels but they only go back and forth so there’s lots of wiggling trying to get it back to place I store it (leant up against my wardrobe).
The short length however is a positive for storing it though.

The weight of it and the overall feel however does make me think it’s a really good quality item. It doesn’t feel flimsy anywhere and I have no worries about breaking it as I pull, push and wiggle it into place whenever I need it. It also stays very much in place even when jogging on it but I’d recommend finding somewhere pretty close to where you plant to use it to store it.

My last and final niggle with it though is the app. Some good points about it are that it finds the treadmill and pairs with it very easily and you can control the speed in 0.1km/h increments, however the whole app is designed to be used with lots of different treadmills and all the programmes go above 5km/h so can’t be used with this treadmill. You can make your own programmes though but as someone who doesn’t know what they’re doing I don’t feel confident doing that at all.
If you don’t use a programme and just go into quick start you can adjust the speed to what you want through and and just walk for as long as you want but this screen forces you the ‘race’ against other users and tells you how far they’ve all run. I hate it.

Overall this feels like it was made for women in regards to the size and weight restrictions and as a short women is a totally acceptable walking treadmill. If you’re fine with the slower speed and no handle bar (which I am) then I’d definitely recommend it, but as said above be wary of the weight in regards to where you will store it). It does everything I need and it’s compact size fits in my smaller house perfectly!

4.0 out of 5 stars It works well for me… but does have some issues that may effect others.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI absolutely love the EgoFit treadmill. I got the one with the handle and I am glad I did. At first, I thought I would only want to use it while I was working at my standup desk, but, as it turns out, I also like use it as a stand alone. the handle is great for that because I seem to have trouble walking fast without something to hold onto. As for the belt slipping that other people have mentioned, I have not had much of a problem with this. When it happens occassionally, I just walk to the oposite side of the belt and it fixes it. I haven’t had to oil the deck yet, or adjust the belt. As for the remote, I have not had a single issue using it, and it works perfectly. This purchase was well worth the money. I use it every day and feel healthier now that I do! Only reason I gave it a 4 star rating is because the handly is only fixable in one position, and I feel it should be able to be adjusted a little more slanted inward for comfort.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersLike many people, I’m working from home now – and struggle to get enough movement in. I bought a standing desk, which is brilliant, but I can’t stand still or I get back ache. There’s only so much dancing I can do while attempting to work at the same time! My office has now closed, so I was facing 8 hours a day at a desk, and attempting to get movement in around my work hours. This is the perfect solution to getting movement and working!

The fact that there’s an incline means that I’m working hard even at a relatively low pace. I was a little concerned about the incline as I’ve had plantar fasciitis, and have little flexibility in my heels. I get shin splints and calf strain easily. I needn’t have worried, as 5% is enough to make me warm, but not to go for my lower legs. This morning I made it to an early CrossFit class, and then hopped on while still in my workout gear to crank out some steps. 8,000 steps before 11am is pretty amazing as I’ve been averaging 3k steps for the last two years. And it was easy!

So whether or not you care how many steps you average a day, this is a phenomenal way to get you moving while you work. At a low speed it’s perfectly possible to do what you’d normally do (so long as it isn’t TOO fiddly), mostly without even really noticing you’re walking.

      Do it.

Compact and easy to use walking treadmill. I use it while I work. It fits right under my desk out the way when I’m finished. Admittedly quite expensive, but very good quality. Also I’m quite tall (6’4″) and I can walk in pretty much full stride while using this. My only grievance is the belt feels like it slips a little bit sometimes while walking on it but it’s barely noticeable.

I honestly was quite skeptical about this treadmill. but it works great!!! It is quite heavy which I didn’t expect but I should’ve read the details of the product better, but anyway, I am a small girl and can move it without issues around the room.

I was looking for an under desk treadmill for a long time as I have been working from home since the pandemic started. I invested in a decent electric height adjustable standing desk which was the first step towards a healthy home office environment. But what I was missing, was an under desk treadmill to make my work from home experience even healthier.

When I saw this treadmill, it ticked all boxes. It’s lightweight, well built and very reliable machine. This is probably one of the best investments I have made towards a health product. I would strongly recommend this 5 start treadmill to anyone.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersCustomer support was quick to respond and helpful. I enjoy this treadmill and was disappointed when It would not start after approximately four months. I was given the option of returning for another or fixing myself with a partial refund. Figuring it would take forever to return and get a new one, I took the option of fixing myself knowing that if it didn’t work, I could still return. They sent directions and I did it (disconnected wire) and broke a piece in the process. They sent a new piece and directions. This time had a friend help and now it is as good as new. After I let them know it was fixed, Amazon notified me of my refund.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’m enjoying my egofit walker, the only thing is that the control that came with it did not work at all, I guess there’s a trick to where you need to tuck the battery under one of the receivers, either way it didn’t work for me. Thank goodness there is an app that was able to provide some good workouts.

I was able to reach out to Amazon and a lady from customer service was so nice and did everything possible to help me. I clicked around and was able to get a person from the selling company who sent me a video instruction on how to properly put the battery on (I tried it and it didn’t work) soon after that they sent me another control that requires AAA battery. That one works!

I’m 5’5″ and the walking/jogging stride is just right, love that you can have the handles up (manual set up) to use a faster speed or have handles down for slower walking purposes.

Overall I’m grateful for the great and helpful customer service and loving this walker!

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersBased on the reviews of this product, I was so ready to write a Bad review. Of course I did not read the product manual and got frustrated when it did not operate right out-of-the-box. The red magnetic safety clip was not in place on the handrail (otherwise, the belt will Not move). I fixed that and it operated perfectly!

As noted in the reviews, the remote control did not work (possibly a new battery is needed); however, the Mobile app is Excellent and easy to use without logging into the App!

I thought I could easily conquer this little treadmill while watching a movie. Wrong!!! That little incline is no joke!! I am truly out-of-shape and could barely do 30 minutes at 3.0 MPH walking. With the treadmill’s incline, I felt more comfortable at 2.0 MPH, but I love the challenge the incline offered at a faster speed.

My height of 5’1″ and my short strides allowed me more than enough room to glide back a bit to walk on the lower incline portion of the treadmill. I’ve seen the reviews where folks complained that the length of the treadmill did not offer enough room to walk or jog; however, at my height, the length is “more” than enough room.

To my surprise, I am extremely pleased with my purchase of the Egofit Walker Plus-M1T. I was so ready to complain based on the initial setup, but I am absolutely Happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this product to anyone who is “short” in stature.
