Aas I already have two exchange batteries this saw makes a very good purchase. It is easy to use and very flexible taking different blades for different purposes.

I’ve got many Einhell 18v tools and all are good quality and well priced. This saw is no exception.very pleased
Although made in China (where else theses days) this is a very good piece of kit. Not so sure it would cut 4 inch branches when up a ladder, however, it suits my purpose, can easily cut 3 inch branches and just in case I bought the battery too. That’s three batteries I now have, the others are for my hedge trimmer.
I used it to cut some 4″ timber for my porch and was well satisfied with the cutting power.

Nice saw powerfull and is hand for most situations for cutting up old timber joists
Used twice so far, works well, well made, have other products from this maker, all good and got another years warranty by registering online, so far so good.
It came with instructions in nearly ALL European languages except English. Also NO where to register for warranty!
There is 1 issue that I believe stops this getting 5* and it is the heat it generates.
It gets so hot that it could burn. Touching the actual tool is like touching a hot drill bit. I feel this could be slightly dangerous as it also takes a while to cool.
Battery dies fast but its to be expected.
This product works well as described. It’s physical appearance shows a strongly built machine. It’s cutting power when in use eliminates whatever doubt left on its solid nature. I’ve used it for a 30 minutes work with no sign of heating up. It is truly worth the price. Highly recommended.
I made an access hatch rather than removing a sink, hot, cold and waste pipes, so it saved me money, then I cut back some bamboo and that saw saved time.
Took hard graft out of tree branch cutting and root removal

Quite sturdy and good value or money. Generous supply of spare blades with it.
Only little snag: blade guard stiff to adjust. But like the way parts detach if need replacing.
Easy to operate, straight out the box this will do about 40 minutes cutting on logs up to 200mm. I would reccommend investing in st least one additional pack for continuous cutting.
Not used yet but appears well built and solid. No guarantee card enclosed or attached which is odd. Have contacted their UK office.
I have bought all the Einhell tools and cant fault the quality at the price, If you were to rate this compared to other powertool makers I would say this was in a league with the very best of them. and in a lot of cases half the price. Just buy batteries and chargers and use the PowerXChange system
What a absolutely fantastic saw I bought it to cut thickish branches off my fruit trees, and it did the job brilliantly. Very easy to setup and I like the tool less blade removal.
Excellent I can highly recommend this saw. But do note the battery & charger is not included.
Working at a stretch when cutting foliage it is easy to lose the moveable blade guard (even though it has a locking button). I have now painted mine with luminous paint.
Otherwise, good piece of kit.
hi all this saw is great it does the jobs u need to get the best out of this saw always make sure you buy different blades for different type of wood you are cutting and is great for cutting up cardboard as well does great jobs I recommend you buy one
These do burn through batteries, as expected, however I was able to do a fair amount of work before the battery was depleted.
This saw is great value at just over 40 (just under 40 if Argos have stock). I managed to find the charger for 22 and a 3 amp hour battery for under 50. Of course if you don’t use one much you could spend less than 50 and get both charger and 1.5 amp hour battery together. For the money you could buy a corded dewalt and have greater power but not the portability. Another advantage of this tool is the weight. It’s really quite light and easy to handle. Much lighter and slightly smaller than my dewalt
Einhell have added good safety features into their designs. This saw has a safety switch above the trighee good for left and right handed users.
