EPOMAKER SKYLOONG SK61 61 Keys Hot Swappable Mechanical
EPOMAKER SKYLOONG SK61 61 Keys Hot Swappable Mechanical Keyboard with RGB Backlit, NKRO, water-resistant, Type-C Cable for Win/Mac/Gaming (Gateron Optical Brown, Panda)
IPX6 Dustproof&Water-resistant
The keyboard stands out also because of its IPX6 dustproof and water-resistant mainboard design. It’s practical and unusual. No worries about unexpected water spill on the keyboard.
Dye-Sublimation PBT Keycaps
We chose to go with a top-grade PBT thermal sublimation keycaps. PBT keycaps are often considered the top choice for keycap materials, even over ABS keycaps, as PBT is much more durable, oil-resistant (won’t get shiny over time like ABS), and stays true to color longer. Our keycaps are also abrasion-resistant, water-resistant, and dust resistant to keep your keyboard lasting longer – even for the daily on-the-go lifestyle.
USB-C to USB 3.0 Port
The SK61/61S is fully compatible with every operating system (OS) from Mac/iOS to Android and Windows, and you can easily switch between the different OS with just the flip of a switch.

Bought this as a gift for my husband. He is a designer and he can’t use it 😀 looks cool on a shelf though
This keyboard is amazing
The quality all the to the performance
I 100% recommend if you are looking for a 60% that will deliver with everyday use this is the one for you.
i liked every bit of it and the only thing i didn’t like is nothing
I got this keyboard during the Black Friday sales and I paid 35 for it and I am very impressed. I had previously used a couple of clicky switches (blues and box whites) which I liked but wanted something quiter so I went for a mech with red switches which for me, was way too light after using tactile’s for so long and even after a week of use I was making mistakes so I returned it for this which has optical browns and they’re my favourite switch so far! They are great even as stock but I took the time to lube them and they’re even better! The build quality of this keyboard is also great and it has foam dampening in it as stock which saves you a job opening it up to add it. Can’t recommend this keyboard enough, even at full price. Being hotswappable also gives you a bunch of options when it comes to modding.
Great keyboard, I use it for games that don’t require 100% keyboards.
The Gateron Black switches are great sounding and feeling, keycaps are nice and dont slip. Easily customisable (I changed the keycaps for another set of epomaker caps and they’re just as good) the body is sturdy and doesn’t slip on the desk.
Great value for money if you’re into mechanical keyboards. Highly recommend.
Best value for money keyboard out there…. So responsive and sensitive…. And also quiet.
I got the black keyboard with the red switches and it sounds and feels amazing. It is definitely comparable to a keyboard of value 100+ as the build quality is very good and tough, it has a very good weight to it and is very durable. Definitely a very good value for money and works very well for gaming as it is very comfortable for your fingers. Would definitely recommend to anyone wether is it their first keyboard or they’ve used for a long time
Solid keyboard . Sounds good and has nice optical switches which for the price of 60 is an amazing deal , one thing I dislike is the print on the space-bar and the epomaker software but other than that there’s no real downsides .
Super product and service. Bad really bad ACS couriers service (Greece).
Keys are super sensitive and keep misclicking a lot but over all the keyboard is great keyboard
It’s good for gaming but for keyboard hobbies you’ll have to do some mods to make it sound nice!
In terms of space management, it’s ideal as it is a compact keyboard with it being reduced by 60% in terms of size. You can also customise rgb backlight through an app.
The issues i’ve found are that:
– the keys are sensitive so the slightest touch on a key and it processes it.
– the app is buggy as it requests permission to allow changes every time you start your pc up.
Its a very good keyboard well worth the money no problems at all. Would recommend for anyone willing to pay the price
Absolutely amazing and so responsive the switches are so smooth and it’s the thockiest stock keyboard I’ve ever heard and the rgb is so bright. I got black switches and they are so responsive all you do is push less than a millimetre and it’s done best keyboard I’ve ever used
As someone who was trying to get used to oba mechanical keyboard for the first time I’m enjoying the experience with this keyboard.
The only think I’m disappointed is not having tuebarrow keys we explicit and is taking some to get used to.
Would recommend, switches feel buttery smooth and stabilizers came pre lubed
I was quite suspicious of this keyboard at first as it sounded too good to be true but I took my chance and I’m very satisfied. I ordered the gateron red switches that produce a very satisfying sound and are very durable I ordered them on a Saturday and it came on Monday(2 days early) this keyboard is very good for gaming and I would recommend it to anybody looking for a reliable mechanical keyboard.
Bought this for my grandson who is a gamer. He loves it. The product is robust, colourful and ‘clicky’. Very versatile in that you can change the keyboard to how you like it. Would recommend.
It’s amazing,
The stabs come lubed and I looked inside and the keyboard comes with a layer of foam for sound dampening! I was shocked in a good way because not only are the stabs actually really good out the box the keyboards just amazing for the price it’s at! Definitely recommend it!!!
To make it better I added another layer of foam and lubed every individual key on the brown switches and it sounds amazing, it’s better than the ducky one 2 mini I previously owned
My son changes pc keyboards & mouse every so often. So part of his birthday he pick this keyboard. And swears by it, saying it’s the best one he’s had. I spent more on different ones but he really likes this one. So according to him it’s a decent keyboard for the money.
The stabs are surprisingly lubed very well very compacted and sturdy! I got the red wine keycap set with the mechanical browns, unpopular opinion but I like the smooth feeling less of a bump and they do this very well unlike other brands that feel scratchy! It sounds and feel THOCCY out the box only keyboard enthusiasts will know what I’m talking about but it’s very good and will bug again if it can’t hold up to the hammer fist rage!!
My son asked for this for Xmas as his main present. He was delighted yo receive it. I felt it was expensive but he said its amazing and does exactly as he wished.
This is the first mechanical keyboard I have purchased. It arrived on time and I have been using it for a few months. With the gateron brown switches, it sounds decent and was cheap compared to other keyboards. My only complaint is that the PCB it has doesn’t support switches with pins, so you are limited if you want to swap the switches. However, it is hot swap meaning you can remove and replace switches with the switch puller provided. It doesn’t have many screws, so I was able to take it apart, tape mod and foam the keyboard with ease. You can customise the lighting with hundreds of options using the Epomaker software as well. The SK61 uses a braided USB-C cable that is detachable. I won’t need a new keyboard anytime soon and it’s an overall good beginer keyboard. While not ideal for gaming, it is good for typing and general use. It is also very customisable as the case goes well with lots of keycap sets. I have ordered retro keycaps and gateron yellow switches because of this. The keyboard came in a nice box with a switch puller, keykap puller and some alternative keys if you use a Mac like me. You can also quickly switch between LED effects by pressing FN+Tab, Or completely disable them with FN+Backspace. It looks durable and I won’t need a new keyboard for a while.
I love the build quality and its features, I got the brown switches and im so happy. But I do feel like If you’re making the switch from full sized to 60%, you will need to get used to it. Like me. Overall good keyboard good price and I love i
10/10 60% Mechanical Keyboard.
Pros:
Very clean and asthetically pleasing
Gateron Optical switches feel premium
Good build quality, still looks new 6 months on
Cons:
Really is nothing fundamentally wrong with this keyboard, the only complaint I would have is lack of RGB control, as the software is not good at all. However there is a few presets on the keyboard itself which can get you by.
Very nice keyboard for starters as not too expensive but gives room to those who want to experiment with keyboard styles and changing switches etc I really like how compact it is and looks very smart on the desk. Keys feel nice, maybe a tad wobbly but you don’t notice unless you are looking for it and it honestly does the job perfectly fine. Would recommend!!
Love this keyboard, I use it for work and gaming. They keyboard layout I have to use the refrence sheet now and then to use the fn key combination it took a while to get used to. The software I updated from the Web site it to takes a bit to get used to but it works well macros and light presets easy to implement it have 4 layers or profile settings I can switch between.
The keyboard itself is great, amazing build quality, very solid and good quality,
shame the keyboard is hotswappable yet is an optical board as there isn’t a great variaty of switches, software is pretty complicated but isn’t too hard to get your head around, switches are great and sound amazing
i ordered this keyboard for a replacement for my old one.
when i got i was realy happy the feeling is great and in my opinion the keycaps look amazing.
i give this a 4.9 star rating 0.1 was cause the stabilizers were over lobbed, the space bar sounded bit wired and my finial reason is the echo form the case but is really quie
Perfect keyboard. Beautiful colours. FYI, the layout is slightly different than most UK keyboards. The @ symbol is on the 2 and the enter button is half the size. Works like a charm and has that signature clicky sound when you press the buttons.
I like the optical red switches they r so light that if u basically tap it the switch activates as it has 2mm actuation point and they switch itself is pre lubed and silent until the keycaps bottoms out. rgb is quite easy to control once u understand it. shouldn’t be worth 70 should be around 60 but for me i think i got every pennies worth. haven’t had any problems for a month of usage, recommended buy for all gamers/ typists
I’m happy with item it’s my first 60% keyboard, I have not been able to connect it via Bluetooth yet but that wasn’t the primary interest as of yet. There is a USB provided hence I’m using that to start off with the perhaps dig deeper on using Bluetooth
My son wanted this keyboard, he plays a lot of online games and told me this was the best keyboard for gamers. I was very hesitant due to the exorbitant price but it was his birthday money to spend so I figure he’d soon learn that something as mundane and basic as a computer keyboard would never justify the expense.
How wrong I was! This keyboard is amazing. Just a few minutes typing on the mechanical switches and you suddenly understand the joy of typing on something that gives a good bit of old school resistance. The clacketty sounds the keys make brought me right back to the days when I used to type on an old typewriter. But..this is a gaming keyboard and according to my son, is a dream to use as he strafes and shoots his opponents hitting the keys in quick repetition.
Honestly nothing wrong with the keyboard at all. Wanted a 60% keyboard for a while now so I looked around. I didn’t want to pay 150+ for. Keyboard. Then I came across this with great reviews, so I bought it 🙂
Only thing is, the space bar is very very sensitive. But that’s something for me to get used to because of my previous keyboard I guess.
Nothing to dislike so far. Comes with easy to follow function command list. RGB presets are nice and varied. USB plug and play. Overall keyboard feels very well built. The key caps are well made etc.
For colouring, the baseplate is whiter than the keys – which are more of a creamy white.
Really happy with with epomaker SK61. Excellent value for money, I love it that much I fully customised it within the same week I bought it. It has a nice weight to it, feels very premium, works really well, haven’t had any problems at all. I definitely recommend buying one
I was accidentally sent an SK64, which was actually a nice surprise since I was thinking about picking one of them up too.
First impressions were that this board (despite being fitted with Gateron reds) is loud! Some attribute this to the board sounding hollow, but it’s a sound I love. Typing on this thing is super satisfactory.
A potential downside is that the caps are not shine through, so you miss out on some of the RGB potential – but I just replaced the keycaps it came with with some doubleshot PBTs and it looks great (non standard size meant that I had to keep a couple of the stock keycaps but I don’t mind that). The legend on the original keycaps is not very attractive in my opinion, but I do very much like the colour scheme.
This is my first board with optical switches, and they work just as well as any other switches I’ve used. Quiet switches but with a lovely ‘thunk’ from the board.
Overall a really nice board for the price. If you want a super quiet board, go for something like a Kemove 61, but if you like a nice thunky board, this is a great pickup.
My son bought this for gaming. He wanted a specific colicky keyboard having watched YouTube videos of the different clicks. He chose the blue option and he is extremely pleased with the keyboard. He loves the clicks, the ease of removing the keys and it’s smaller than a standard keyboard.
I ordered this with Black Switches and they are smoooth. Buttery smooth, the board also sounds very good, although some lubing would take it to the next level.
I was unable to get any drivers to work with this board. But that’s not too much of an issue. I don’t have any complaints with this board.
[Update 1]
I’m a pretty heavy keyboard user, after a few days I can generally tell if a board is good or not, this board is unbelievable, after a few weeks the wear is undetectable, which is unusual for me (because of my university work I can spend up to 8 hours a day on a keyboard). But the real game changer for this board is the sound for me, this board is so satisfying to type on, I’m not sure if it’s the switches or the backplate or a combination of the two, but this board sounds unreal
[Update 2]
No complaints with the board, infact to this date by far the best board I have ever used. Better than things 2-3x the price. However when you buy from smaller brands like this the driver’s aren’t always the greatest andt his board is no exception. The driver SUCKS it’s a modified GK61 driver but never have I ever been so frustrated with a driver. I still reccomend this board, but expect to have an argument with the drivers
[Update 3] Still going strong after nearly a year – stabalisers are beginning to rattle a bit which is totally normal – definitely gonna have to lube it – still fantastic to type o
Very pleased with this keyboard! It is compact and very well made. The base feels very solid and sturdy, the mechanical action on the switches is very satisfying and all of the different functions/shortcuts are very well explained. Very good value for the price too!
I’ve always scrimped out on keyboards, over the last couple years I’ve had maybe 4 or 5 low end budget mechanical keyboards. They all break, keys go non responsive and the quality is generally mediocre. I spent a little bit more on this occasion and I can honestly say its worth the 70 price tag. It’s very sleek, the key caps are good quality, rgb is great. I did also disassemble the entire keyboard, and it’s very well built, good components, I added some foam to the bottom for dampening and also lubed all 60 switches, which had made it even better. Totally exceeded my expectation, no complaints. Also worth mentioning the gateron black linears I went with were really good before lubing and awesome after lubing.
