Not used yet as currently using the embrace with my 6wk old, but saw Amazon selling for 90 so thought it was worth getting for that price.
Fits great, easy to put on. It’s stylish, lightweight and easy to store.
First time I took my little girl out in it (at 5 weeks old), she fell asleep instantly.
Definitely a great buy.
This is absolutely amazing, I wish I had it for my previous baby! It’s so comfy to wear and easy to put on – I clip the waist, flip it over my head, put the baby in, then do the side clips and adjust as needed. Baby is so comfy in it and has lovely naps. I didn’t expect to love the carrier so much, but I use it more than my pram now. Definitely would recommend
Its a 5 star product! I gave it 4 because it doesn’t have any pockets.. none!!! I would appreciate at least 1 pocke
Be careful buying those baby carriers. I got it for my first baby and I used it once. It felt great and I really wanted to use it but there was no way I could have strapped baby in all by myself! You need a person to help you and if you’re on maternity leave you obv dont have one:) there is nothing scarier than trying to put on a small baby in these by yourself. Great carrier but I sold it. I advise everyone to buy these things secondhand becouse you never know if you/baby are gonna like it! And it only lasts for 12 months anyway.
My baby just loves to stay in it perfect support and it keeps my hands free to do stuff around the house worth every penny
Very easy to use once you get the hang of it and my baby falls straight to sleep in it. Would definitely recommend!
Essential for a parent !
Lovely design but mostly great support for your back I would definitely recommend i
Fab: easy to adjust and put on. Baby well supported. Only downside is there doesn’t appear to be an option for a forward-facing position, which would be handy as my baby now only seems happy when he can see what’s going on.
Love this carrier so easy to use and quick to set up. Little man goes straight to sleep and is so comfortable I can wear it for a couple of hours at a time.
This Ergobaby baby carrier is excellent and suitable for newborns to toddlers.
This summer when I was on holiday i could take the baby everywhere with me in this carrier.
It goes into 3 positions and it is so easy to use.
I am comfortable wearing this and baby is comfortable in it which is the most important thing.
It may seem pricey but it really is worth every penny as it is such a good quality product.
This would make a brilliant and very thoughtful gift for any expectant parent.
I also love the navy colour as this wont show up any stains or marks you get when babies are involved!
5 stars and highly recommended.
It’s hard trying to multitask with a new baby around a house, which made this Baby Carrier perfect! It’s strong and sturdy and more importantly, it’s so comfortable and supportive for the baby, with adjustable straps for the wearer and a nice material. I gave this to a new mum and she loved it!!! The ability to do housework, to cook, and more while the baby rests peacefully in the carrier on her chest. This is also easier to go out if you don’t want to take a pram with you constantly, if it’s a rough trek. She doesn’t have to worry about the baby while she’s doing these things, and about her taking naps. She’s loves this and told me it’s the perfect solution!
A review for Ergobaby Baby Carrier for Newborn to Toddler, Cool Air Raven Adapt 3-Position Ergonomic Child Carrier Backpack.
Well made and designed allowing easy, safe and trouble free carrying of a young baby. The overall protection is reasonably good however. The material is both comfortable and sturdy to allow carrying of a baby. The carrier is easily adjustable so that you can get the right fit quickly. Available in two different finishes as well as multiple colours. I have to admit I am not a great fan of these however do see the need for them and this is a good option for carrying your young child.
My son has always been very clingy since he was first born. The only way he would sleep was in my arms and as soon as he was put down he would wake up straight away. This baby carrier has been fantastic and allowed us much more freedom now! I can put my son in the carrier and actually do jobs around the house knowing he is comfortably by my side all the time. The carrier is very comfortable for me and my son. I have not experienced any back pain during use and my son seems to sit happily and even give me a smile every now and then! The fact the carrier can be adapted as my son grows is a great feature. I highly recommend this product to any new parents with a clingy child who want a bit of freedom back.
This is perfect product especially for a person who has not much experience with this things.
At first I wasn’t sure how to put the carrier on and adjust correctly but it comes with very detailed manual instruction so after reading it I had no problem. Feels very comfortable for mother and child, Made from high quality material.
Can be used for a new born to a toddler (from 3,5 kg to 20kg). This ergobaby baby carrier is breathable so it is perfect for summer. Comes with hood (hidden in the small pocket on the front of the carrier) for a sun protection also for privacy. Love the fact that it is so comfortable, absolutely no back pain for a mother even after wearing it for A good few hours during the day. This carrier will allow you to do some house work while having your little one close to you.
Very good product a bit pricy but absolutely worth every penny.
We bought an earlier version of this carrier for our son and daughter-in-law a few years ago. It was a great success. We all used it at different times. They tried friends’ carriers and concluded that the Ergobaby was their favourite.
This is improved in a number of ways over the original and is going to be used by our daughter and son-in-law in a few months. We borrowed a neighbour’s baby grandson to test it. There’s lots of adjustment and we (a range of sizes and shapes!) were all suitably impressed — so much so that the neighbours have now ordered one.
It’s even more comfortable to use than the original. The baby is very well supported in the carrier and seems perfectly content in there. The head support is effective, the hood welcome on sunny days or for breastfeeding privacy. We haven’t tried washing it yet, of course, but it’s good to know it’s washable.
The only thing that might count against it is inability to use it with a forward-facing baby. But many experts now believe forward-facing isn’t a great idea, especially for young or sleeping babies. And the Ergobaby does offer the option of wearing on the hip or back. We’d strongly recommend this carrier and feel it’s worth the high price, especially since it will retain a lot of its value for resale.
Having tested a few Baby Carriers in the past year, I can say that this is both the most expensive one I have tested and also the best. I had a car accident a few years ago and I have found that other carriers have irritated my back muscles and I end up in pain after sustained use. With this product, there is just the right amount of lower back support to avoid this strain. There is also a breathable material barrier between my chest and baby, which keeps us both very cool. It is very clear that it is made to a very high standard with quality materials. The only downside to this product is that it is not the easiest thing to adjust if someone else takes over the carrying job.
Overall this is a great product, which is lightweight, well made and functional. I am happy to Highly Recommend this item for carrying a baby upto 3 years old.
One of the main problems I have found with baby carriers is that their complex array of straps and security catches etc can making putting one on and then a baby in it, a Krypton Factor trial if you are doing it alone.
This one has a secured waist belt system. attach it at the back, clip together and the belt clip is put through a strong piece of elastic first so that when you undo it, it wont suddenly just spring apart allowing the baby to fall or whatever, it adds an extra layer of security by holding the clip until you are fully ready to release and remove the carrier.
The waist belt has an ovoid padded and sturdy panel at the front and also the back giving the back some support too. It feels almost like one of those weight lifting belts used to support the lower back but much more comfortable.
Throw the luxuriously padded straps over your head and on to your shoulders. It seems that this is well thought out, all the places that take the strain when carrying a weight (well they can be pretty weighty after a while, even the little ones) are provided with well padded support to make them extra comfortable.
Slot the little one in, leg openings are also adjustable for 3 different ages/weights of baby. The main carrier body is a lighter but strong mesh, meaning the carrier is less stiff and more comfortable for the baby’s body and also allows some breathing and fresh air to circulate. Once you have all the various straps adjusted and baby in pace, simply pull the straps that go over the shoulders to tighten and secure. Once this is done for the first time, taking it off is simply undoing a clip and putting it back on is also just a case of clipping it in place. Plenty of softer padding for baby’s head and neck and a little zip pocket at the front reveals a rolled up hood/cover to go over the baby’s head when it is windy or rainy.
The waist belt at the front also has a small pocket on the right hand side just big enough for a cloth, some tissues or a pacifier/dummy.
I have to say that I found this much easier to put on and get baby in by myself than I ever did with that certain leading brand of baby carriers.
The quality is excellent, the mesh body adds comfort for parent and baby but reduces the total weight being carried and it looks really stylish.
Love it!
Pushing a baby or toddler around in pushchair is fine most of the time, but there will always be those times when it will restrict where you can go and be too cumbersome. It is always a difficult choice if you decide to invest in a baby carrier as you have to make a choice of a cheaper one with limited features or a more expensive sophisticated model which offers more. Firstly, this one is not the former, it is quite an investment at 139.99. If it is to be worth that outlay you will expect it to tick all of the boxes for you and in my opinion this one certainly does! Out of the box the carrier is clearly very well made and sturdy and it is also machine washable which is really important. There are a selection of carrying positions either on the back, front inward or on the hip. It also is going to last you a long time as this carrier is suitable for newborns, right up to toddlers (by which time you should have developed enough muscle !). It has lumbar support and can be adjusted so that it is comfortable to use. The shoulder straps are easily adjustable and the whole thing is well padded. There is also a criss-cross option for smaller framed adults which is missing on many carriers. For the baby there is plenty of cushioned head and neck support and the baby is carried in the more natural and comfortable ‘frog’ or ‘M’ position. There is even a fold away hood to provide sun protection, it is like they have thought of just about everything, you can even breastfeed whilst using the carrier. If you can stretch to buying this as opposed to one of its cheaper counterparts, having looked long and hard at this I honestly cannot fault it in any way. I believe it represents good value for money and will last a long time. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this carrier.

I’m very impressed with this baby carrier.
Easy to use and adjust to fit both baby and carrier. Incredibly thick and padded shoulder straps which help comfort levels (see picture). Baby can be carried from birth to 45lbs (that might be a bit heavy for long journeys though unless you are really strong).
Most importantly baby is held in the frog leg position which is perfect for hip placement in newborns. Reducing the risk of Dysplasia.
Carrying baby close to their carer increasing attachment moments and makes them feel secure. Also great for babies who suffer from reflux to be held in this upright position.
The carrier is adaptable – baby can be carried at the front (facing carrier), on the hip and on the back.
The carrier uses mesh panels to increase air flow so baby does not become uncomfortably hot.
The instructions are easy to follow.
There is a very handy hood which tucks away neatly.
This is the easiest to use and most comfortable carrier I’ve used – highly recommended product.
This Ergobaby ADAPT baby carrier, has a cool air mesh design, offers lumbar support for mum or dad, as well as being able to be used in 3 positions.
The mesh gives a breathable area, so that both carrier and baby do not get so hot (which in this current whether is essential).
The support straps are adjustable to get a good comfortable fit, regardless of who is wearing it and the straps are padded, reinforced and very sturdy, hence this carrier is able to grow with your child, so it will last for months of growth. So even though it is a higher outlay cost, it is built to last with your child, and will hold a child weighing up to 20kgs, or 45lbs. You can also wear this using a criss cross positioning, which it advises is better for smaller parents.
It is able to be worn in three positions, front-inward facing, on your back or on your hip. However, with this model, you cannot have baby outward facing. All positions allow for your little one to sit with legs at an M shape, which is more natural and comfortable for both baby and parent alike.
The carrier has a padded neck support for baby, which gradually becomes a back support as baby grows. This carrier features a tuck away hood, which has sun protection up to UPF 50+ and allows privacy if you want to also breastfeed whilst using the carrier.
The material is 100% Polyester and is machine washable at 30 degrees C and the design is Raven, which is a deep dark blue, grey and black.
Overall, this is a quality product, it is very expensive, but should last a long time if cared for properly and may last for more than one child.
Comfortable to wear and looks comfy to nap in too. No front facing though, which is a pity but otherwise all good. Easily put on and taken off and suits up to toddler age but I feel it’s best for younger and before they’re walking.
Having used an Ergo Baby Omni 360 previously, I was interested in how this product would differ. It is a good product, but it has its bad points.
Immediately you notice this product is much lighter than the other, which is a fantastic perk when the weight of baby is enough. It’s made out of nice soft material and has sturdy clips. The mesh fabric seems to provide a nice air flow for baby too. As long as you are using the inward facing option, you can easily strap the carrier onto yourself, pop baby in, tighten the straps and off you go. There are also colour coded areas informing you where the velcro should be around the base of the carrier dependant on the age of baby.
I would say this is more aimed at babies aged 0-4 months when they mostly sleep. The second they get inquisitive, or start to get mobile, this stops being helpful. Where this item is only inward facing, not outward, baby cannot look at their surroundings. This is great if you want to get them to sleep as any stimulation will make matters worse, but on a normal daily basis this will frustrate them.
The backpack option for toddlers is fantastic! Our 1 year old little tester was smiling away while daddy walked around as she already loves getting piggy backs! The downfall to this however, is that it’s a two person job to get little one in, and once they are in, we personally found the straps dug into our shoulders after a while.

First the price was big surprise for me i think it is too expensive, but no no way it brilliant stuff for you baby keep safe next to you and feel comfortable.12 language for product features
Expensive for a carrier but it is excellent quality . Easy to put baby in and comfortable to wear once straps are adjusted . I think you can also buy a rain cover which is great as well
I like the idea of this carrier but the cost concerns me. I’ve already reviewed the 4 position carrier by Ergobaby and I think this one is actually an improvement. It just seems more comfortable though, like the 4 position, you can carry the baby around for quite some time, but like any load you carry, there’s a comes a point where you start to ache. Most times it will be used on your front but you can “back-pack” it if you want to. The product details say “Baby carry positions: front facing you, hip and back” though the back position was awkward. I love the fact that you can carry a child up to 33 lbs in weight. What?! What sort of child is that to carry? I can’t even imagine it. (“Keep still Helen. We’re going up Snowdon now”).
This product was a lifesaver for us, as our 3-month-old son wouldn’t sleep in his cot during the day. It’s a safer option for the hips, as the legs are in M shape. You can regulate the carrier to be comfy for a growing child. We occasionally still use it after 4 months.
Really nice product. Came when it said it would and baby seems happy when in it.
The best baby product I’ve purchased. I could not survive without it. I have a clingy baby and I have been able to get on with things in house while baby naps. One warning though is that as my baby loves being in it so much, she won’t nap in the cot. Now 6 months old and still wants the sling naps. Alternate naps in cot and sling from younger age.
My husband was really anti this purchase as it was so expensive. However after taking the six month old on a short weekend break he was a quick convert. We also bought the rain cover which has proved really useful and allows you to use the carrier in all weathers.
This baby carrier is well made, sturdy and comfortable to use. It fits my baby well and the length of the straps is adjustable for a good fit for myself. The feel of the fabric is good too.
Never thought how much easier this would make chores around the house when I can just keep my baby with me at all times and not have to worry about what he’s up to.
Now that my baby is 4 months I can properly review this product. I have to say that the crossing straps are not so comfortable to attach and often we needed help. Now that baby is older we don’t cross it anymore and it is much easier! I don’t need any help and it is very quick to put baby in and attach the back. It is a very comfortable carrier, my baby is almost 8 kgs and he is well supported and my back doesn’t suffer.
Great product, it securely holds my son, from when he was 10 weeks old, for my husband to carry.
The straps adjust easily and quickly. However, do not tighten enough for me to wear securely. I am 4’11” but a UK size 8 to 10.
Used by my daughter and 2 week old grandson who report success! Very useful with older toddler in tow. Baby enjoys being in it during daytime chores.
Absolutely love this carrier! So easy to put on yourself – the crossing straps are wonderful! We rented several before deciding to purchase this one and we are glad that we did!
The best thing I bought in the whole motherhood experience so far.
