Will Eve Aqua fit my faucet?
Eve Aqua’s standard 26.5 mm thread fits virtually any regular outdoor faucet. When fitting Eve Aqua, install it all the way on to the faucet using your fingers. Ensure it fits securely and that no water escapes even when the valve is shut.
Eve Aqua is a Minimal Thread Device (MTD) – but what does that mean?
Thread makes your smart home network more responsive, robust, and increases its reach – the only thing else you need is HomePod mini. Battery-operated Thread accessories, such as Eve Aqua, represent endpoints in your Thread network.
How can I extend the reach of Eve Aqua?
Simply position a Full Thread Device, such as Eve Energy, as close as possible to your Eve Aqua. The Eve Energy accessory will then act as a router and relay data packets from Eve Aqua.
Do I need an internet connection in my garden?
Once set up, Eve Aqua works completely autonomously. It’s entirely up to you if you want to use the HomeKit automation and remote access functions that require a home hub.

Un dmarrage difficile pour la connexion HomeKit qui a bugu. J’ai t oblig de contacter le support de la marque.
Fonctionne correctement depuis .
Le prix m’apparat lev pour ce type d’appareil.
En remplacement d’un programmateur Gardena. La programmation est sophistique mais malgr tout peu intuitive. Difficile de savoir visuellement si il est en fonctionnement car les voyants sont minuscules, peu nombreux et peu lumineux. L’intgration l’application Maison de Apple est parfois chaotique. Par contre une fois quelques heures perdues cela fonctionne bien. Reste prouver la fiabilit dans le temps.
Die Steuerungseinheit ist deutlich grer als ich erwartete hatte. Die Qualitt stimmt aber, auch wenn hier alles aus Kunststoff ist.
Die App von Eve ist zwar optisch nicht unbedingt die Schnste, aber die Einrichtung war einfach und die Programmierung ebenfalls. Zusammen mit dem Gardena Wasserverteiler luft die Wsserung jetzt grtenteils automatisch im Garten. So spare ich mir jeden Tag einiges an Zeit und man kann das Wssern auch nicht mehr vergessen.
Super Produkt in Kombination mit einer Bewsserungsanlage. Reagiert fast sofort und mit den Automationen unschlagbar. Leider habe ich noch keine Mglichkeit gefunden das Wetter jeden Tag automatisch abzufragen und die Bewsserung an diesem Tag zu stoppen. Manuell ist das aber mglich. Dennoch ist das Eve Aqua perfekt fr meinen Garten und hat auch schon einen schweren Sturm problemlos berlebt.
Because it is battery operated, when it turns off your HomeKit system won’t know and it will show that it’s been watering constantly. Flowrate has to be entered by hand. It easily added 2 shortcut to pause the watering, but they only work when it’s currently watering.

Lo cog porque tengo todo integrado con Apple y la verdad q estoy contenta . Desde fuera de casa y en casa lo manejo con mi iPhone y la verdad es q la App Casa y Eve q es mejor muy bien . La conectividad estupenda
Kleine Mankos aus meiner Sicht sind:
(1) Beim Einlegen der Batterien stand ich zunchst vor einem Rtsel, wie das Batteriefach zu ffnen ist. Auch die Skizze auf der Batterieabdeckung hat mir nicht geholfen. Das knnte bei der nchsten Gertegeneration sicherlich besser gelst werden.
(2) Das Gert sollte/kann nicht in Verbindung mit lteren Versionen der Home-App von Apple benutzt werden (vor iPadOS 16). Beim Reaktivieren eines alten iPads fhrte der Start der veralteten Home-App bei mir nmlich dazu, dass das Eve Aqua samt Regeln und Szenen aus der Home-App verschwand, dann an der Hardware zurckgesetzt und schlielich komplett neu eingerichtet werden musste.
(3) Beim Zurcksetzen des Gerts geht man laut Eve wie folgt vor: “Drcken Sie die Taste auf der Vorderseite des Gertes, bis die LED 5 mal rot blinkt.” Diese Anweisung ist aber missverstndlich. Denn man darf nicht warten, bis die LED 5 mal geblinkt hat, sondern muss den Taster loslassen, sobald die LED anfngt zu blinken. Genauer gesagt, wenn die LED anfngt zu blinken, hat man ein Zeitfenster von 5 Blinkern, um den Taster loszulassen.

jedoch ist das mechanische Ventil, das beim ffnen und Schlieen extrem laut ist, nicht sehr vertrauenserweckend. Was ist, wenn nach dem ffnen die Ladung der Batterien nicht mehr zum Schlieen reicht? Das Magnetventil der neusten (aber auch viel teureren) Version ist eigentlich die Konstruktion, die man schon in den ersten Versionen erwarten durfte.
I got tired of needing to relearn the cumbersome interface of the popular hunter unit I had. Hard to get to where I had it positioned but also confusing to know if it’s set to what I am trying to achieve.
So glad eve updated their unit to work with Thread it caught my attention and I’m really pleased with ease of use.
Not a fan tbh, I found competitors did a better job for Australian conditions and users. Without a Apple HomePod it only works within a 4m range. The scheduling program doesn’t always work so it’s unreliable in that sense. And it’s almost impossible to find where they hid the schedule in the app.
Otherwise i appreciate the simplicity of the hardware, the waterproofing and the single button. But not worth what it retails for, it should be half the price.
Anfangs war ich etwas skeptisch da ich hier Berichte ber den schlechte Erreichbarkeit der Bluetooth-Einheit gelesen habe ..”Alu-Gehuse und Funk”… prinzipiell ja richtig aber so banal ist das natrlich nicht. In der R&D Abteilung bei Eve habe sich gute Gedanke fr die Antennenpostion gemacht. Fazit (nur mit BLE “Bluetooth Low Energy) an Zentrale HomePod (6m im Raum + 8m Garten)14m, habe ich stndig gute Verbindung. Selbe probeweise quer durch Haus, >9m in die darunter liegende Garage kam das Signal an, zwar verzgert aber ich konnte dieses mehrfach reproduzieren. Ich benutze zur Einstellung die HomeKit App, hier lsst sich auch das Zeitintervall einstellen. Alles in allem bin ich begeistert. Die Reichweite drfte durch das zustzliche Protokoll Thread bei neueren Zentralen (homePod mini) noch gewinnen, Stichwort Matter, dann knnen auch andere Hersteller hier mitspiele
This is a great automated timer but you only really get the full benefit if you have an Apple HomePod or Apple TV.

Due to the way apple have set up sprinklers in HomeKit you are not able to create automations in the home app off the bat. However, if you first create a scene in the eve app to turn the eve aqua on you can then view that scene in the apple home app and create automations with that scene. The eve aqua automatically turns itself off after a user defined time set within the eve aqua accessory in the home app.
Overall a great product and I would wholeheartedly recommend, yes the eve app can be tricky to navigate but it’s a lot more powerful than the apple home app and allows you to create complex automations that are not possible within the home app. (For example sensors that are not exposed in the apple home app are exposed in the eve app, I.e Tado TRV’s expose humidity in the eve app to create automations but they don’t in the apple home app)
Appairage Bluetooth sans problmes , commande manuelle (voir video) ou programmation par l’application Eve ou intgration dans HomeKit facile, attention de bien aligner les raccords lors des connections car les filetages en plastiques restent fragiles mais c’est correct, ne pas prvoir de dconnections frquemme
Nice product and easy to install. The app is slightly confusing, but not something that would bother you while using. The installation on the outdoor water valve was straight forward. Though the rubber ring which includes a small filter mounted in the connection is preventing it from having enough grip. This means you can not safely mount this. Unless you have ‘polluted’ water supply, suggest to remove and replace with a thinner version. This enables proper mounting, although of course the filter is missing now. Keep in mind this works on Homekit, so an apple device is needed in the proximity to initially get the settings transferred. After this it can, unless you make setting updates, operate as standalone. One remark on the label which is over the battery compartment. The glue is rather strong and I’m wondering should you remove as leave it. Not clear in the manual or print on the label.
Trs pratique pour optimiser son arrosage, et viter de laisser l’eau ouverte trop longtemps grce son extinction automatique programmable, ce boitier est vraiment top.
Seul bmol, il laisse quand meme quelques gouttes s’chapper au niveau du branchement, mais cela n’empeche pas son bon fonctionnement!
La dernire mise jour active le Thread Network, ce qui est trs pratique pour les utilisateurs Apple disposant d’un HomePod!
Looks great compared to others. Easy to setup. No need for a hub, just the Eve app or Apple Homekit. Automations work well so plants get their drink in time every day. Like the fact it also works with (controls) 3rd party 6 way water distributors like Gardena.
These are easy to install and pair, but if you want to use automations/voice commands you will need to have a home hub (HomePod/Apple TV) in Bluetooth or Thread range of the device, or you’ll need to get an Eve Extend as well. Otherwise you’ll only be able to operate the device when your phone is nearby (as is the case with other Bluetooth HomeKit devices)
Fidle la description au niveau des fonctionnalits, rien redire. Mais la connexion au hub est parfois erratique, srement a cause de la distance (- de 10m mais avec des murs) donc petit bmol l dessus.
1 si solo va a utilizarse como programador de riego, pienso que hay otros ms baratos y que hacen lo mismo.
2 si se conecta a travs Apple TV, iPad etc. para poder controlarlo desde fuera de casa, hay que tener muy en cuenta, que el aparato que haga de centralita debe tener cobertura hasta el Eve Aqua (por la distancia), porque si no es as, debe comprarse adems un amplificador de seal que tambin puede encontrarse en Eve.
Yo lo tengo instalado dentro del alcance del Apple TV, y puedo programarlo incluso desde fuera de casa, parar un riego, o iniciar otro cuando yo quiera o se necesite.
Ideal si ests de vacaciones y sabes que ha llovido lo suficiente en casa, para poder anular ese riego o retrasarlo etc.
Su funcionamiento es perfecto (hasta ahora) y en mi caso esta adaptado perfectamente a mis necesidades. Por eso le pongo 5 estrellas.
Lo aconsejo para quien quiera usarlo dentro de la domtica de su casa con Apple TV. Siempre que est a su alcance claro esta. No hay que olvidar, que el aparato puede programarse con un abanico enorme de posibilidades y el mismo trabaja solo de forma autnoma sin necesidad de estar conectado a ningn otro aparato ni electricidad (el lleva dos pilas) abre y cierra el agua del riego segn programacin a la perfeccin, tanto si se le indica desde fuera de casa como si funciona de forma autnoma.

Es una buena opcin para el riego de tu casa. Todo genial y fcil de instalar, as como su configuracin.
Por poner una pega, dira que sera mejor si funcionara por wifi, que no lo hace. Funciona por Bluetooth. Lo cual hace que para configurarlo tengas que estar al lado de l.
+ Einfache Handhabung. Man muss nur die Batterien einlegen (sind dabei) und den Eve Aqua an den Wasseranschluss anschrauben (am besten ohne Zange).
+Die Einrichtung der App zur Steuerung ist auch einfach. Wir haben kein Apple TV und nutzen Bluetooth, aber das geht auch wunderbar.
+Im Gegensatz zu anderen Smart Home Produkten, wie z.B. von Philips, braucht man keine extra Bridge, das spart Geld.
+Unseren Gartenschlauch konnte ich ohne Probleme anschlieen, habe keinen extra Adapter o.. dafr gebraucht. Das ist praktisch.
+ Die App ist recht intuitiv. Das Einstellen der Zeitplne zur Bewsserung war kein Problem. Anscheinend werden die Daten nicht in der Cloud gespeichert, das ist auch ein Plus.
Wir nutzen zu Hause auch Eve Energy Steckdosen und sind mit beiden Produkten bisher sehr zufrieden!
