Absolutely gorgeous , what a treat for the face. It feels beautiful on smells divine and left my skin feeling as if it had had a top facial. A little bit goes a fairly long way so you can use a good few times. It comes in a lovely glass jar . It is expensive but as a treat it is worth it .
At the time of this review this honey face mask is 53.00 it comes we’ll packaged, in a glass hexagonal jar it’s a wooden lid that’s actually magnetic which is brilliant as it comes with a metal spatula for applying the mask. When storing this jar on the bathroom shelf rather than knocking the spatula on the floor and losing it, it stays magnetised to the lid which is something so simple but really super handy! The face was easy to apply with the spatula, wait for your face to be covered, massage it in until its reached a creamy warm consistency and leave on for about 15 mins. This truly felt lovely on the skin but I would advise wearing a headband as it can be a little sticky. Skin felt lovely and supple when rinsed off and I didn’t have any trouble rinsing this off. It is expensive and more than i would normally spend but it is a very nice treat.
This is the best mask I have ordered from Amazon so far. The tub is hexagon which is same shape with honeycomb. The mask is exactly same scent and texture as real honey which I do want to taste! My skin feels comfy when applying it and soft after face washing. I like the magnetic lid which can hold the spoon easily so it is convenient to store them. The price is a bit high but worth it.
This did seem to do a little bit more than the standard mask. It didn’t cause any skin issues. My face did feel smoother and tighter after using this. It is a premium product at a premium price.
This is an absolutely premium product with fantastic packaging and a beautiful presentation. The attention to detail is amazing from the jar design to the magnetic wood-effect lid which keeps the spatula secure.
The mask itself looks and smells exactly like it actually is honey, it’s very thick and while you may think you’ll need a fair whack to cover the full face you’d be wrong. While it looks like honey, start massaging into the skin and it turns into a white cream and begins to liquefy due to the heat and a small amount will give full coverage.
On the skin it feels nice, it’s silky and warm with no irritation or untoward reactions. It’s easily rinsed off leaving behind no residue and skin almost instantly looks less red, smoother and definitely radiant.
It’s expensive, there’s no doubt that at 53 for 117g it will be out of the price range of a lot of people. But the quality and effects are obvious the second you see it and apply it, given the small amount needed it will last you for quite a while and could be kept as a luxury product for when you really want to pamper yourself.
The only issue I have is that once I start running low the spatula may not be able to adequately reach the sides and top of the jar, but I’ll withhold judgement on that for now.
First off: this is an expensive product at 53. But it’s extremely luxurious.
The luxury feel starts with the packaging. It comes in a heavy frosted glass jar with a nifty magnetic lid which helps stop you from losing the wee metal spatula you use to apply the mask. The jar’s a thing of beauty in itself, and after using the product you might find another use for it to store small items like ear studs or drawing pins, for example.
The product itself looks, smells and feels like honey, albeit slightly thicker. It’s gooey, which is why you need the spatula to spread it over your face (they advise avoiding the eye area and lips, as with most masks). After applying you then massage it into the skin with your fingertips, and just like magic, it melts and changes to a thick white creamy consistency. Then you leave it on for 15 minutes or so – it doesn’t drip or run down, so you can go about your normal business while it works. I thought it might be a faff to wash off, but it comes off quite easily with water and you can towel or tissue off any that remains.
After using, my skin felt soft and deeply moisturised. The price is a barrier, but it’s not a product to use every day (once a week is enough) and you don’t need as much as you’d think – if anything I think I applied too much the first time, as it does gain volume as you massage it in. So whether it’s value for money or not depends on how much you have to spend. I’d say it’s of a very high quality, and therefore worth buying if you can afford it.
I love this Honey Potion face mask and the way it is presented – it hydrates and softens my skin and looks and smells fantastic! The mask is presented in a hexagonal jar which is reminiscent of a honeycomb and compliments the honey theme of this mask perfectly. The jar has a screw lid and a cream sealing lid that is easy to remove. Once opened, you can see that the mask is thick and golden in colour, looking very much like a jar of honey. It has a rich, sweet scent that reminds me of orchards – Apples, papaya and honey are all ingredients in this. The mask is easy to apply using the supplied spatula – once applied to the skin, the mask becomes more cream like and is gently warming. I like to apply this while my bath is running, and find that it really helps me to relax and prepare for some “me” time. The cream washes off my skin well, and left it feeling soft and hydrated – I had anticipated some stickiness but was pleased to find that there was no residue at all. As a lady who will be turning 50 this year, I am delighted to find a product that really does smooth and refresh my skin – I had not heard of the Farmacy range before, but would happily buy their products in future. This jar is not cheap – it does come with a 53 price tag – but it genuinely is a touch of luxury, and I feel that it is worth the cost.
Omg , I really love this honey potion plus hydration mask. It has a good combination of honey , healing propolis, royal jelly, niacinamide, apple, cica and papaya . It has a really rich texture. The niacinamid and cica can sooth my sensitive skin well. The honey has good anti-inflammatory properties. When appling onto my face, just give a good massage. You will have a warm-up feeling. Rinse off in 15 minutes. I feel well-nourished and hydrated . Fantastic honey mask
This face mask is an expensive product. It’s well packaged and feels premium, but not sure I would pay the large price tag for it as get similar results from cheaper products.
The face mask is quite thick and it warms up when you put it on. I could feel my face warming and it’s a weird sensation … got a bit worried incase I ended up with red looking skin. Because of this I didnt leave it on too long. After cleaning off my face looked OK, my skin felt a bit softer than usual.
Nice enough, but not sure I’d pay the price for it.
I received this honey potion face mask for free as part of the Amazon Vine Programme.
I love this face mask, it’s definitely become a favourite of my skincare products! The aesthetic is so clever and so much fun! I love the honey pot shape, it feels very sturdy and of very good quality. Plus I love that you get a spoon with it to help spread the mask. It is easy to pick up and spread on your face, plus the instructions are super clear which makes application very simple. I was a bit surprised that the mask warms up but it felt lovely and like a true pamper session! I felt really refreshed after the mask and after using it a few times my skin does feel more hydrated, soft and brighter!
This is a deeply hydrating and nourishing face mask from Farmacy.
Its a premium price but for that price you get a premium product that only requires you to use a small amount to see the benefits – as such it’s good value for money.
You can immediately tell its a premium product by the packaging – the hexagonal shaped pot oozes quality and the magnetic lid is a fantastic touch. You get a small metal spatula to remove the product from the pot and to store it simply pop it on the lid and it’ll magnetise into position.
To use scoop a small amount out onto the spatula and apply to the face. At this point you’ll feel like you’re just putting sticky honey on your face but this is where the magic happens – use your fingers to work the product into your skin and you’ll see it changing colour and starting to turn into a white cream. Once fully worked into the skin leave for 10-15 minutes and then simply wash off.
It washes off very easily and leaves your skin feeling deeply hydrated and nourished – my skin looks brighter and feels so much better after using it. It’s a real luxury treatment.
I think this is a great product and when not using it I’m happy to leave it out on display in the bathroom as the pot is so nice.
Reccomended.
I love this face mask!
Super easy to apply and warms up as you rub it into the skin. I left it on for 15-20 mins each time, and afterwards my skin was soft and supple – perfectly smooths
Plus it smells delicious! Brilliant results
Absolutely amazing face mask! Its so premium!
Leaves face soo soo nice!
The smell is just out of this world.
Super smart jar design with magnetic lid so you can put included metal spatula on it and it will stay there!
Superb brand and outstanding quality product!
This product has easily become one of my favourite face masks. It’s very luxurious, fun to use and my skin looks visibly more nourished after using it. What more can you want?
The mask comes in a heavy, frosted 117 g glass jar. There is a metal spatula included, the lid of the jar is actually magnetic and holds the spatula in place, great if you’re prone to loosing small objects.
The mask itself looks, smells and feels like honey! It’s a very thick product, it starts of as a golden honey colour, but when you massage it onto the face it turns more of a clay white and the consistency is more creamy. You need to apply it on a clean dry skin and then leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse off.
The current price for this mask (at the time of writing this review) is 53, now I know this is on a higher end, but you literally need a tiny bit as the mask pretty much doubles when massaged onto the skin. It’s a pretty luxurious product and it’s well worth the price in my opinion, especially if you want to treat yourself.
The mask itself works really well. I try to put it on about twice a week and every time my skin is glowing! The hydration is well visible, my skin tone also looks a bit more even as well which is a massive plus. The mask is really easy to rinse off as well, I normally tend to avoid rinse off masks as it’s usually a pain to clean them off but this is not the case with the Honey Potion Plus.
I’ve only briefly heard of Farmacy brand before, but I must say it’s really growing on me after trying this mask and another product from them.
I would 100% recommend this product, I will be repurchasing it ones my current jr is finished, well worth it. Highly recommended
This Honey Potion Plus mask from Farmacy has definitely gotten my vote for exfoliating and cleansing. After the recommended 15 minutes of pampering, your skin feels soft and slightly tauter yet not dry or uncomfortable. My wife and I have both been impressed with this product and would actually think about buying a second tub when this runs out. But at 53 per tub, we are still in the thinking stage.
I used this product only a couple times, so far. I applied it, waited some minutes then rinsed it off in the shower. It had a short-term, mild stinging sensation, from the acids in the mask. It also had a very soothing sensation at the same time. It comes in a little jar glass, it smells lovely, has a smooth texture and it’s so easy to apply.
Absolutely love this mask and will be getting more from this brand!
Beautiful packaging and feels and looks high end, the lid is wooden and has some sort of magnet in it so the metallic spooly to scoop the masks sticks on top.
Comes with clear use instructions on box and on product. Has a strong natural honey scent which I love. I have dry sensitive skin so always get worried using new products however I absolutely loved this. You rub it in for 1-2 minutes until it turns into a white lather and starts to warm up on your face. It doesn’t get too warm it gets just right! Then you wash off after 15 minutes or so. My skin felt so soft and smooth after and some scabs I had looked reduced the next morning
It’s definitely moisturising and high end
This definitely feels like a fancy product. The packaging is high quality – both the box and the jar. The jar is hexagonal, building on the honey theme, and it has a wood effect lid which is actually magnetic. This is handy as it comes with a little metal spatula to scoop the product out; the little spatula might be the sort of thing you lose in a drawer but not here as it sticks to the lid in a quite enticing way!
The mask is at first very much the consistency of honey if it was mixed with gum – it was sticky and a bit stringy – I really appreciated having the spatula to use in applying it to my face. Once on there, it wasn’t gross or hard to massage the mask into the white creamy state mentioned on the instructions, quite easy in fact, and the most important thing for me was that it was REALLY easy to wash my hands clean. I felt like I’d have to work at them with soap but water made it melt right off. I left the mask on for about 10-15 minutes and it didn’t make me feel much in particular while it was on (not hot/cold or drying etc) and then I washed it off with a flannel.
Here’s the weird bit – while I feel my skin was brighter and more hydrated, it also felt a bit drier too?! It felt almost like the mask worked at a deep level and then I wanted moisturiser for my skin surface too. So I put some on and felt happier. This doesn’t put me off using it, but with the price tag being what it is, it will only be as a treat now and then; the pot is weighty thanks to the glass but it doesn’t hold that much really.
Although recommended for oily and combination skin, my wife uses it on her skin. The hydrating mask smells of honey and genuinely hydrates and moisturises the skin. The pot comes with a little spatula, so no fingers in the pot!
I am a huge fan of Farmacy especially as their cleanser is one of my absolute favourites so I was really looking forward to trying to this product.
This product comes in a hexagon shaped glass jar with a magnetic wooden lid to finish it off. A small metal spatula is also included to help you apply a nice even texture whilst keeping the product hygienic.
The product itself looks and smells like honey and includes ingredients such as Niacinamide and ceramides. The best way to apply this is to cleansed skin and to gently massage it for a few minutes at which point it will turn into a nice rich cream. I usually leave it on for around 10 — 15minutes as it not only helps to even skin tone but it also improves skin hydration.
This mask easily washes off with warm water or by using a wet flannel. Once my skin is dry you could really feel and see the difference. I particularly love that this has ceramides as this helps to moisture and strengthen the skins barrier.
Highly recommended.
This Farmacy face masks lived up to my expectations of this brand (and so it should at the price). The pot is glass with a wooden top and overall incredibly luxurious. It comes with a mini metal spatular for application which clips magnetically onto the lid so you don’t lose it! The product itself is exactly like honey – surprisingly so! – both scent and texture. Once you apply the mask and massage it into your skin, it turns into a creamy mask, and your skin is wanted just like having a facial. My skin was left super soft, hydrated and plump after use: this will definitely be my go-to bath mask now!
I tried a sample of this mask a few months ago and fell in love with it. I was really happy to be able to use it again. First, the packaging is amazing. It is heavy and feels luxurious.
It comes with a metal applicator that helps you apply a nice, smooth, even layer so you don’t use too much and don’t have to put your fingers in the actual product which we all know adds germs! After trying this mask my skin was glowy. I felt like I just got a facial! There was a slight warming effect but it was very pleasant and not irritating.
It made my skin so soft and hydrating like never before. So glad I added this to my skincare collection. One thing I love is how easy it is to rinse off.
I always enjoy trying a new facial-mask skin treatment, and this one is really rather nice. It’s nicely boxed, and packaged in a hexagonal glass jar with matching wooden lid. The product itself is interesting. In the jar it has the appearance of natural set honey; (it feels kinda waxy and sticky, and has a distinctive honey fragrance). Using the supplied small metal spatula, you apply a few dabs of it to the face then massage the product over the skin until it turns creamy white. At this stage you leave it on for fifteen mins before rinsing it off. It feels nice, and smells delicious. I didn’t notice any significant skin improvement immediately after usage, but my face felt pleasantly soft and hydrated.
This Farmacy Honey Lotion Plus at least has the benefit of looking and smelling different from the plethora of face creams on the market. It has a very thick, almost solid texture, a wonderful fragrance of honey and a rich yellow colour to commend it. It comes in its own box complete with a magnetic metal spatula so that the fingers need never enter the jar making it less messy and more hygienic.
So far, so good but what does it actually do? The idea with this formulation of honey, apple extract with ceramides is to spread a layer of the lotion across a cleansed face and then work it into the skin until it transforms itself into a rich lather/cream which you then leave to work for a good fifteen minutes. As you wait you feel a slight tingle-a sign that the moderately astringent exfoliator is at work. When you do wash off the cream it does take a minute or two as it clings to the face, but the results are worth it both in terms of the cleansing and hydration of the skin. The skin is left feeling really smooth with dead skin cells removed but without irritation. There is also a slight firming of the skin and a shine which leaves you feeling good and looking radiant. As a man I am going to use this before shaving because it is great for preparing the skin for the razor and softening the beard-this is a much better bet than pre-shave lotions marketed for men which are full of chemicals and prone to irritate the skin. For women, this would be a great preparation to use after the shower when your make up is removed and before bed to give you real hydration as you sleep.
This is not a cheap product by any means, but a little goes a long way, it is lovely to use and offers you some genuine benefits. Well worth trying.
If i didn’t know that it’s a facial mask, i would say it’s raw honey. The texture and odour are brilliant. It smells and feels like natural honey. If you rub it a bit, the texture will change to a white foam. Easy to apply and remove with warm water. I have a very sensitive skin and i haven’t got any irritations or abnormal reactions. After this mask my skin became super soft and fresh. Didn’t have sticky or foreign feelings.
In addition the glass jar is well made and has a magnetic wooden lid which easily holds a spatula so you don’t need to think where to store it. I’m happy with this purchase. Highly recommended.
I love the texture in this , it’s smooth and creamy and therefore easy to apply. It’s almost in a lump so will last for ages so therefore I think this is good value. It feels luxurious on your skin. Comes in a nice shaped jar with a great wooden lid which finishes it off. Even has a small application spatula. Would make a great gift.
Very hydrating on my skin leaving it looking and feeling soft.
First impressions –
It smells great. Tastes sweet and minty ( yes! I tasted it. I couldn’t control myself) for the facial skin it’s so refreshing and relaxing. I would not normally go for exfoliating masks due to the severe dryness of the skin. But this worked just like a miracle.
